You get more xp the higher the your lvl is but the % of the lvl is lower so if you stay in down leveled areas it’ll take more kills then if you were in an appropriate area.

Remember the xp will change based off your current lvl. Enemies don’t give standard xp. They give an xp based of the % you need for the next lvl. So if I go kill that same Ettin 2 lvls from now he will give me different xp

I have tested it Maulor. And to describe in detail I have killed a cave troll by myself gotten 200 xp for it by myself went with two people to do something and killed the SAME troll while the others stood back doing nothing and I got 50 xp and they told me they got about the same amount when I AM the one that killed it.

I’ve tested and have screenshots which show otherwise. Both alone and together gave out 46xp

Just to put myth about less exp from mobs to rest I posted two shots. First is of a solo kill and the second is of a group kill. Both gave 46xp.

Yeah I don’t know why anyone would buy this. The basic kit cost you 3.52c per use. Copper is currently going for 20c. So unless you get something back worth more then 60c you’re losing money on every use.

Well you can make an appeal by creating a support ticket. You won’t be able to play that character until it’s worked out. If there is even a small chance your name could be taken the wrong way then your just waisting your time and theirs.

Does anyone else wonder how safe that program is. Some random EXE file downloaded from the internet could very easily have a keylogger/trojan attached to it.

He couldn’t of hit delete if the message had gold in it. You can see from the first shot delete is grayed out. He could’ve click take all without realizing it and then the gold would’ve been added to his.

If you went to password recovery thru the official website because you forgot your password then yes it does ask for the code, e-mail, and charater name.

If you went thru some link that you got in your e-mail then it may of been a phisher.

yeah if you got an e-mail from “ArenaNet <support@guildwars2.com>” saying you need to follow the link to change your password it was phishing mail and the link went to a fake site that looks just like the real one in order to get your password and login. You need log in to the real site and go to My account the change your password

You can submit a ticket to get the name oked but I don’t think they’ll let you keep it.

If I’m not mistaken, you can acquire world transfers with gems. If this is the case, you could always tell your friend to save his gold and swap it for gems. I doubt it would take that long and you guys can always do dungeons together in the mean time. Hope this helped!

Yeah you can trade gold for gems, but at the current rate I think you’d be looking at about 50-60 gold to cover the transfer.

You said he didn’t play muck before so he may just be better off throwing all his gold and none soulbound items into the bank. Deleting his toons and taking the free transfer

You can’t unbind the hole item. The most you can do is unbind the skin by transmuting it with white rarity item which will make it account bound.

Where it asks for account name tell your friend the use his e-mail address. Seems to be the problem that most new people have loggin in. If not hopefully support can get him in soon.

If you want to keep the name send in a support ticket. There have been a few cases were a name was blocked in error. The only thing is you won’t be able to use that toon untill you get it taken care of and the cases were they changed a name decission are very few.

wait out the 3 days and then log in and change the character’s name. Also if you have any other questionable names you can self report and request a name change which with avoid longer timeouts.

Anyone that buys a used account is taking a huge chance. The account they bought could’ve been permanently terminated, never existed at all, origional owner chargebacks the account closing it after the sale, or have such a bad reputation that it is on every blocklist.

Plus it is a hassle to change the email addresses, which you’ll want to do since you won’t have access to the original email in case there is ever a need for a password change.

As others have said they believe you are a warrior and are using vengeance which automatically defeats even if you have full HP unless you get lucky and remove the buff

Guesting is free and will let you do everything but WvW together as long as you are both on the same region ie ether NA or EU. Or you could buy gems with cash

Never made one of the recipe sheets myself but from my understanding you use the mystic forge to create the sheet.

yak’s bend seems to be fairly active and I’m sure tarnished coast has quite a few as well. If you are in the asura and silvari starting zone, it will seem a bit empty. Queensdale is by far the most active of all the starting areas.

Yeah I don’t know if it’s the scenery or the events, but people do seem to like the human area more.

A lot of things can factor in too. Like what time you play. What zones you are at.

I play from 2am to 5am and still run into a fair number of people in the human starter area for my dailies. The mid zones do feel a bit more empty. There’s still a good size group jumping to world bosses and dragons at that time on my server.

The use of macros are allowed in GW2.

macros by definition is a single instruction that expands automatically into a set of instructions. This is not allowed GW2.

It’s not slotting different infusion. It’s actually upgrading one ring to infused equipment so that it has inate +5 agony resist.

You can wait for the offical answer, but I believe you’ll find it’s not allowed. One option that would probably be allowed is if they paid you with gem cards. Then you could convert the gems to gold.

For rings you could upgrade one ring to infused equipment. There’s no infused equipment for accessories tho.

Nothing wrong with the patch. A-net does there data collection over a period of time and then bans in waves based on that data.

It has been our policy since the day we released — in fact, since the first beta — to terminate accounts involved in cheating. Dont name the method of the tool or the name. Advertising an exploit is not allowed. But even if you used such a tool for 1 minute you can be banned.

Obviously he found out about it from seeing people use it. Most of us have seen the teleporting bot at the resource nodes.

You report it by right clicking on the players portat and choose report.

For you Ice. Update your ticket and ask them to review the login ip from the time of when the account was flagged. If you were hacked they’ll see that the loggins came from a different area.
