The same can be said in reverse. Why is dragonite not available in fractals, especially when it is needed to gear FOR fractals.

Both death shroud traits will give you 3s stability on 7s cooldown. if you need more about 4s stability by putting 6 in death magic. More than enough to easily skip
Probably need to purposefully get in combat to proc some energy sigils though

NP, another tip is to bring Well of power for emergency stunbreak. It has 1s stability so if you get caught by technicians w/o stab DS on cd, you have time to Plague after you break the stun to escape.
Good tips. You can also blind with well of darkness so deadeyes miss you. I guessed traiting DS would work but never tested it because the last time i did p2 on necro without a thief was before the feature patch. lel
Even so necro is probably the hardest class to do the skip on. Simply because of how slow you are and you are pretty much guaranteed to be put in combat and forced to use cooldowns etc.

I dont know the range you need to be standing. But id imagine you can use ele lightning whip safely and still hit lupi from it.
Dagger 2 is fine for what it does. Although its probably a bit too low dps in my opinion. A channel time reduction would help that. But a small damage buff would be nice aswell. It would still be a dps loss to cast. But at least it wont feel like you just completely tanked your damage output.

No its not the only way. Theres plenty of minor buffs they could do which would bring necro up to par with other classes. Maybe not for records. But certainly for casual organised efficient runs.

Its not just him. Mordrimbor is giving ranique a run for his money.
Reapers precision does. Signet doesnt. All signet passives are removed when in DS.
Maybe it was because i logged in and bragged about my 2nd one. Your overwhelming jealousy overpowered the game and produced.
It can still be challenging even if its predictable. Increasing the number of attacks bosses use would be a good start.
On the other side of the coin. I dont see why anyone plays sPvP. Its a mess, its boring and unintuitive to watch. This makes it a poor candidate for esports. If you want a competative fix there are plenty of better games.
Necros are alot better than a thief to me Considering only reason a group would want a thief is for AoE blind….. which is boring as hell haha. I got tired of my thief and main my necro now.
What about stealth, spammable cc, projectile blocks and spammable blast finisher?

Friends, community and hope (futile hope) is the only thing keeping me here. That and theres no other games I want to play.
I stopped playing a while back because i felt completely burnt out. I couldnt even motivate myself to leech dungeons off the guild. The lack of new skills and end game content this late into the game has finally taken its toll. Theres no freshness anymore. The season 2 patches are what caused me to finally give up i think. They gave me some content to enjoy for a day, but after that i couldnt be bothered to do anything else.
I will be playing a bit again soon. But i dont expect ill ever get back to being fully active like i was several months ago. Unless we get some new stuff which makes the game feel fresh (new weapons, skills and dungeons).

No amount of buffs will ever make necro better than ele for AOE. And when ele does AOE its also the highest single target dps in the game. I dont think theres any real arguement why necro cant have AOE when anet is fine with other classes having ridiculous amounts of AOE which also produce ridiculous single target damage.

You can simply use signet of fury or healing surge or both in rotation for restoring adren after bursting. Would be curious if it is worthwhile doing. Would definately make the warriors rotation a lot more interesting.
Make spectral wall a reflect. Or at least a projectile block.

Fairly certain they stealth changed something on wurm in that patch. There were no patch notes.
as far as I know arenanet never claimed the damage, support control was a new trinity and in fact it isnt. every profession can be all three at once if the player chooses too that doesnt conform to the trinity design.

Actually what you quoted says exactly the opposite.

for it to be a new trinity each profession should only be able to do one of them no all 3.The whole point of the trinity is you have 3 roles and any character can only fit one of those roles. The game is designed in a way that you need all 3 roles to succeed and thus it forces players to diversify.
if you can have all 3 roles on 1 character it just is not a trinity game design.
Its not a conventional trinity. But there is still a trinity of roles. Its irrelevant that you can cover all 3 of them on one character. Anyway i believe anet said something like this “we dont have the traditional trinity of tank, healer and dps. But we sort of have a new trinity of sub roles and they can be divided as dps, support and control”. Not a direct quote but i remember it going something like that. Key thing to take from this is that they never claimed that you should focus solely on one of these sub roles.

Best solo classes are ele and warrior. Others tend to lack damage when solo. If you have ever tried to solo bosses on a ranger you would know it takes a kittening age in full berserkers.
In comparison to the majority of bosses then.

Most people cant even dodge grubs. They probably wouldnt have dps gear either.
It would be really stupid for anet to change a boss which has been considered challenging and well designed for the last 2 years.
It would be a dps build. Support is independant of stats.
They could just leave it. Most players cant even survive phase 1 melee without being carried.
Adrenaline could also be bugged so it never decayed outside of combat. If they make DS decay then they need to buff the hell out of lifeforce generation on every single skill and add a skill which fills DS on cast.
So it wont happen. Dont worry about it. It only changed on warriors because they could spam burst skills and maintain adren way too easily.
MMO’s are primarily PvE games. That is where the largest playerbase is in most MMO’s. So yeah its kind of ironic how they put so little into their largest gametype. 2 year old game, no new weapons, no new skills, no new dungeons, no decent skill based rewards.
Things really do need to pick up soon because I honestly dont know how long they can keep us straggling along. I managed to last almost 2 years but ive barely logged in for the last month. Its finally got to that point where i cant motivate myself to play even for those shiny skins i want so much anymore. And i was already in a state of “theres nothing to do” a year ago.

Thief dagger and other classes cleave weapons do around the same dps as necro dagger. Theres no justified reason why they wouldnt add 2 target cleave if they are adding it to thief.

Why does everyone keep saying give axe cleave. I cant even imagine how that would work on a 600 range weapon target requiring weapon. Unless you are imagining splash aoe around the target. But then thats not really cleave. Cleave works without a target. :P
Axe doesnt need cleave. It just needs a huge buff.

There are many. They don’t explain specific requirements for teaming with specific groups. You don’t necessarily learn that watching youtube videos … or even coming to the dungeon forums ironically. Its not hard if you take the initiative. I dont know why people even need to ask “how can i start learning”. Seems pretty obvious to me if you want to learn something new you should do the research and avoid asking unnecessary questions.
What i find funny is that people are complaining about this, when it would of actually been possible to do at release. Just goes to show what happens when you leave us to play the same old content for 2 years.
