When Im playing my guardian and I meet similar engineers, I pop stability and smash their turrets and beat them to death while they do basically no damage to me. Would you prefer that outcome? Or would you come to the forums and cry that stability and the mass condition removal guardians have is OP and ask for it to be nerfed also?

Awesome fight inside NSP garrison lords room just now, they looked a little outmanned so I helped them out though. Special shout out to the DDLG commander who finished my bloodlust stacks. Unfortunately I died about 2 minutes after it was flipped so I didnt get to sit inside and farm DR today, and now I have to get my stacks again =[

Protection is amazing. My bunker guardian in WvW full times vigor, protection, regen and retaliation. I can face tank 2-3 people without breaking a sweat. I can also reapply boons faster than a S/D thief can take them from me by simply moving around a lot and using my blinds and CC’s and hitting him. Once the thief gets low on ini or HP they always back away, and when they back away I always run from them to force them waste cooldowns or ini to chase me. Its an effective strategy, and I havent lost a 1v1 yet doing it to a s/d thief. Theres been lots of times where they ran from me or didnt chase me though.

Honestly, I think it needs a bit more of a buff. Today for instance I was attacked by a s/d thief, plus a glass cannon mesmer and a ranger (no idea what he used other than a longbow). Know what happened? I kited them for 10 minutes before they managed to kill me, and I downed the thief once. This is on a slow moving guardian, that relies almost entirely on boons to stay alive. And youre saying S/D thief is somehow in need of a nerf? I think youre crazy.

This the key part of that phrase from the fix. Stacking occurs from repeated use. They took that away and made it give the revealed debuff properly, as I originally said.

And I went out that very night and CnD’d walls to test it because the wording was funny, and they didnt say they removed the ability to do it, and it worked fine btw.

Steel chest is the good one actually. Wooden is junk.

There should be 2 tags, One you buy for 100gold, and one you buy for like 5k badges. The badges one is red, the money one is blue. That would be pretty awesome IMO, you could have the zerg on one and the havoc squad on the other so they can keep tabs on each other. And also, the pugs would know who is the better WvW commander based on the color.

They never removed the ability to CnD on walls. CnDing walls was just bugged, and even if you did it while stealthed, it did not reveal you. It gave you the debuff, but you were still stealthed fine, and could keep doing it. Knowing this, you should all also now realize that CnDing walls in intended design by Anet, or they would of removed it instead of just fixing the bug associated with it.

Also: this idea is kind of dumb, and removes one of the fun things thieves get to do. Follow the enemy zerg and report their position without anyone knowing youre there. Im not a fan of removing any of things thief can actually do, since its so useless in most aspects of WvW.

In Feudal era Japan, Samurais use to walk out onto the battlefield and declare their name, rank and fighting style and take one on one challenges before their armys would fight to inspire them. And of course to take the heads of their opponents to their lords.

Good thieves are easy to kill? No, bad thieves are easy to kill. Of course, I can see why you would say that since you play a thief. One who likes to brag about farming people for an hour and a half. Of course, the implication is that you must be some kind of godlike player to do this on a class that is so easy to kill.

It’s amazing how many godlike players play thief even though playing thief puts them at such a huge disadvantage since they are so easy to kill. In summation, get bent.

About farming NSP… I was on my guardian til you guys decided that since it took more than 3 of you to fight me and win youd just zerg me every time I was anywhere with 10+ people, so I switched to my thief so you couldnt. Its your own fault. But really, it just sounds like you’re mad Oozo.

This thread would hold more weigth if you gave names of guilds you play aginst, instead of everyone just being like OMG MY GUILDZ DE BESTEST.

With that said, I think (Tempest Wolves) TW on SOR is a very good guild. Sure they run away from me 1 on 1 every time I find them, even just me vs 2 of them they run a lot. But really, they motivate their servers pugs to fight and hold/take things, and they do very well. It’s always annoying when you find them on a map, because you know every single PUG is following them and you’re gonna have to deal with fighting 100 people every single time you engage them.

Look up GW2LFG.com for dungeons. If people dont want to bring you make your own groups. Exotics are easy to get, you make tons of gold doing anything (except WvW) in this game.

So recently, Ive only been able to sell maybe 10 things on the trading post, then I get errors, and more errors, and more errors, and more errors… And then i have to log out completely and then log back in to sell anything else. It’s getting really obnoxious and angering. It’s been getting worse lately too, I use to be able to sell 15~ things before it would bug out, then it would go away after a minute and I could sell things again, now it just gives me errors until I log out. What was the point of using gems to get 8 bag slots on all my characters if I cant just horde things for a long time then sell it all at once?

I actually want to add to my original post. I found a mesmer build I cannot beat. It has all PVT gear and its clones have retaliation. The good news is that this build cant kill me either, but its added to the list of things I cannot kill that cannot kill me with BM bunker rng and Bunker D/D ele.

Play whatever you like, just make sure its a Norn for snow leopard form elite, unless youre a thief. Snow leopard is an instant get out of jail free card, just sayin, its worth it.

Ranger is cool though.

Pull the guards one or two at a time if you can fight everything a once, its easy to do.

If you find it unacceptable, go to a different map that doesnt have a Q, if they all do, move to a different server. Thats what Anet wants you to do.

Actually if you watch your video, your screen gets wider, meaning you can SEE things others cannot, turn your screen to show the top of your character or something like that, and I believe that the larger screen will enable more vision inside keeps/towers

It doesnt work like that, you would have to build several ACs in different spots all along a wall to take out the ACs on top, and you cannot see the ground behind the walls.

The problem is that ‘some’ people/guilds drop 1 AC, not even next to a wall, and can take out EVERYTHING inside a keep anywhere even remotely close to the AC. Even with eyefinity and windowed mode, this is not possible. As demonstrated in the new video I linked in this post.

Eyefinity doesnt let you see on top of walls or beyond them. Want to see for yourself what an eyefinity monitor setup can see? Switch your game to windowed mode, and make the window super long and small. Thats all you gotta do. Its not some huge game breaking bug thats only open to specific people, everyone can do that. The people shooting ACs on top of walls are using some kind of zoom hack program or in game exploit, as doing this does not let you see on top of them.

I wouldnt charge into a 1v50 unless I was on thief, but I would walk around and come up behind them and kill one or two on guardian before being zerged down. =3

And when fighting against SOR zoomhacks its not like you can do much else. Dropping an AC to defend a gate is a waste of time, better to just leave an fight some people because you wont slow down their 100 person army no matter what anyway.

Yeah. You’re right. JQ hasn’t lost any NA guilds recently. You guys are a bastion of NA stability.

JQ lost part of EMP, which sucked, but whatever, all those people did was lose whatever map they were trying to cover anyway, so its not like that affected us. Those SOR guys who took the map can just PVD that map and get no bags now instead of having to fight Noodles for 5 minutes for it. We lost some omen guild I never heard of or seen as far as I can remember, and maybe FIRE. I still dont even know if they left or if people were just confused by the fact that theres 5 other FIRE guilds, but for the past few weeks whenever I see them they only have 10 or so people. JQ really hasnt lost much numbers wise as far as NA goes honestly. From my perspective the only thing JQ has lost is the morale of its PUGs during NA time.

All JQ ever had was some super strong Asian guilds and a few good NA guilds, thats why as soon as any other server fighting us had a large coverage period where we didnt, we lost. It’s not a big deal to me, Im here to fight people, even if I have to charge that RIOT guild and 10 PUGs by myself because everyone else from JQ would rather stand on the rock scared, even though they had the outmanned buff (after rereading this, I want to point out that JQ had the buff, therefor no armor damage, and it doesnt matter what you do). But hey, after I did that I trolled Yishis into 1v1ing me and won, so it was totally worth it. Guardian Powa!

I agree man, they should get rid of stealth. They also need to get rid of toolkits and turrets on engineer. Those grenades and wrenches and nets are just to much man, thats got to go. They should suffer a 3 second root when they change element too, I hate running after them so much, my legs are short darnit. You can say what you want, but seriously, this kind of attitude leaves a really negative impression on most people and makes them not want to be involved. Thieves are weak, I kill them 1 on1 just fine, it just takes awhile sometimes. In fact, today I even had Yishis run from my guardian.

I remember talking to an Iron guy before you all moved, and I said 3 things. You’ll steam roll anyone play during EU, but that you should go ahead and move NA on one condition, you get some friends guilds to move to the other servers. It doesnt look like you did that last thing though and now youre regretting not having people to fight, so can you now convince your friends to come to NA and play too?

I was in some borderland this morning on my alt thf using D/P which I never do, second time ever that I used it, and my team had taken hills at some point, and I 1v20’d you guys outside and you couldnt kill me, I wasnt even stealthed half the time because I was failing at ini management. Whats up!

After that I spawn camped the blue team on EBG and won like 8 fights against superior numbers.

And then these 5 guys from red team showed up out of no where when my friend was dueling some random guy, and they dropped TWO stealth traps on me, at different times, and my friend and I killed them anyway. That was the best. lolstealthtrapusingscrubs

Stealth stomp should not work. This should of course affect all professions e.g. mesmers and engineers also denied of doing stealth stomps.

Are you going to take away mist form stomp from eles, tiny stomp from engineers, stability stomps from guardian, warrior, mesmer, elementalist, and ranger as well? Or are you just hating on thieves, who can be stopped from stomping you while theyre invisible, meanwhile all these other classes cant be stopped.

There’s so many holes in BS threads like this, you guys should really just learn your class, learn every other class, and play what you like to play. There’s a counter to your class that can kill you pretty easily no matter what you roll, as this game uses rock, paper, scissors balancing. But hey, if you guys hate this game so much, Neverwinter just came out, go play that. Oh but watch yourself, theres no such thing as revealed or even coming out of stealth when you attack others there, so in PVP thieves just roll you without you ever seeing them.
