Apparently someone who made a thread about this awhile ago had this very same concern like what OP has going on. Anet has responded and said this is against the rules with necro vs with a ranger pet where Anet said this is working as attended, which I really don’t know what that means.
- I Eat Bacon, from Ferguson’s Crossing.
Let’s be clear, this version of condition stacking and condi builds being viable in all games modes is a large part of our goal. We just want to make sure we don’t create imbalances that actually make the game less fun. Don’t expect huge balance swings, but rather our balance goal has always been to make more small adjustments.
Since you’re re-balancing conditions, is there any talk about doing something with burning to make it at least a little unique? Right now it’s exactly like bleed, except harder-hitting. There’s no tactical difference.
I liked the idea one other poster had on a different thread—make burning deal more damage to stationary targets, like torment with the formulas flipped. That gives burning a niche, and you can probably just copy-paste the torment code and move some numbers around.
except in pvp standards, no one would stand still, thus making burning quite utterly useless.

Can we please ban them, ANet? Institute a 3-week ban on public spoilers of new content.
or how about you turn off map chat? I find that a simple solution.

RIP Buffed conditions, didn’t even last.
Back to the berserker meta i guess….

I’m sure this is understood, but it seems like a good idea to formally say this: The update notes shared in this thread (and distributed to our fansites) were presented in unedited form. (You probably figured that out. ) As always, all game updates are subject to change while being finalized. The final notes that are presented here on the forums as the formal Update Notes will be edited before they go live. This will allow us to tidy up typos, make sure each stat is accurate, and also verify the inclusion of all elements (and the removal of any that are not going to be included).
if these are not final numbers, then take back the nerfs of Necro. the class is already weak, don’t make it any weaker. you did that huge buff on Ranger and Engi, and you nerf Necro to compensate? 30sec cd on heal which is also a corrupt skill and gives you 10 stacks of vulnerability? seriously, what double nerf is this? want to unsplit Mark of Blood? ok. give us back the 3 stacks then instead of nerfing it to 2 for both pve/pvp
They are not going to do anything of a sort towards necromancer, from what I’ve seen Anet do to necro for the longest time, what makes you think they are going to change CoCo? I wouldn’t personally mind the the 5 second increase to its cool down, but the vulnerability was just to me over kill for the class, which is where to a point I quit playing necromancer until they decided to change Consume condition and making it a spectral (or at least buff other healing skills which they won’t, because you know, 2nd life bar.)
P.S: I find it really quite amazing that necromancer is the only class who’s heal is good for only hurting yourself instead of saving you, I guess you could get the reduced cooldown just to see yourself receive a random chance to give yourself fear.

Yeah, anet did nerfed champ loot all together, some of the boxes I get do not even give silver when opened, looks like silver earned from champ loot boxes are now 0-10 silver… Thanks Anet…

People played dust? I thought that game was such a flop.
Good to know those old school EVE players made tons of ISK of the debacle.
He was referring to the T6 Dust crisis that happened 2 months ago, where the T6 Dust was around 30-40 silver a piece before Anet’s cheap solution to use Glob of Ectoplasm to get Crystalline Dust.

I’ve been having issues lately with the new LFG tool, when ever I try to join someones party for a dungeon, it would tell me I had joined too many parties and have to wait for a moment, I’ve been waiting for 5 hours without joining a party, and I’m still suppressed. Is anyone else having this issue as well?
Edit: It would also go back and forth from join party and giving me the underlay suppression message when I try to click, I only joined 2 other groups today.

As far as I can tell, increasing the level cap will only add more grind to the game. New skills and skill points can be added without extra levels. New content and story can be added without extra levels. Content can scale already without extra levels. Cosmetics can be added without extra levels. It will however just make all the level 80 items substandard at the new level cap and make players gear up all over again.
Does anyone want a level cap increase or can the player base reject it, now and forever?
Where are you getting this information that there is a level cap increase?
My own word: Anet has already said on some post during November that they plan to increase the level cap higher some time later in gw2, but are they doing it is beyond me.

I am so proud to see my server rise like this. Kinda sad that I missed this event.
Edit: i didnt see many of the ferguson’s crossing guilds. Did any other server guest to FC?

First High rated populated server to finish tequatl too! GRATS
- I Eat Bacon, from Ferguson’s Crossing.
Well Vabbi just did it ^^ So I guess it works out somehow. There are guilds raiding on low pop servers. Way to go Tequatl Killer Squad and thank you all! =) Vabbi was second EU server to do it xD
That is good to hear that a lower populated server has gotten to kill Tequatl. How many tries?
- I Eat Bacon, from Ferguson’s Crossing.
Low pop servers already get an overflow. The # of people playing on Sparkfly Fen @ Yaks Bend is the same on SoR, for e.g.
You’re just not good enough
I would like to say that Fergusons Crossing is smaller then Yak’s Bend, as well as SoR. We may be number 2 higher from the bottom of the list in wvw servers. but the 2 we out rank in wvw, we are smaller then their server still lol. Around a month or 2, we had a major guild leave our server to an EU server. The only major guilds we have on this server is AoE, Deth and EFG.
- I Eat Bacon, from Ferguson’s Crossing.
The only somewhat nerf I would like to see is the timer increased for lower populated servers.
- I Eat Bacon, from Ferguson’s Crossing.
I doubt this one boss will cause too much damage. Either ANET will nerf him or your server will ignore him. They really need to implement a limit on guesting as well. Most PvE players seem fine by stealing slots in a map for a world boss.
Then again, I would like to see my server succeed, heck, any high pop server to succeed, but if it gets ignored, I would be quite disappointed.
- I Eat Bacon, from Ferguson’s Crossing.
Note: I already know there is a couple of topics regarding the lower population of some servers compared to some higher populated servers.
I think the new difficulty of Tequatl is great, but my only issue with the newly revamped world boss is, lower populated servers are going to have a hell of a time trying to defeat this boss. As for myself, I am from Ferguson’s Crossing. Ranked as a high populated server(in the NA region servers, its considered low populated). There needs to be a way to make this particular world boss doable in a lower populated servers, Especially in most EU servers. If Arenanet doesn’t find a solution to this particular problem, people will guest/transfer to a server that has a much higher success rate then the server they are currently on(I.E Blackgate, top PvE NA server), causing the already low populated server to become even more abandoned. The People who won’t do this will become quite irritated, they will either just simply ignore the boss or they will rage quit(seems to be quite the trend on the forums). I am not saying “Nerf the boss because its too hard,” I’m simply saying there needs to be some sort of a solution to solve this problem. I would really hate to see the server I am on become desolated, and I am sure everyone else who enjoys their low populated server would too.
TL;DR: Most low populated servers will have an extremely hard time fighting Tequatl, causing some of those servers to become desolated. Anet needs to find a solution for this problem.
- I Eat Bacon, from Ferguson’s Crossing.
I can already see this event nearly impossible or exactly impossible(hoping not that) on ferguson’s crossing… Lower populated servers need a 5 – 10 minute boost in time. otherwise this event on my server will be ghost town in a month or less. But i wonder who will be the first high populated server to get this event done.

When I saw this forum, I’ve checked my bank, I am missing my Mini Watchknight aswell. Would love to have a replacement, or this would simply irritate me if I don’t get a replacement, I have done all of the achievements for it.

Also if you can’t get close enough to the body, have a keybind for AoE loot which picks up everything in a 1200? radius.
900 AoE radius unless it has been increased.

Is there a way to avoid 8-5fps with culling on the aoes when graphics is turned down to lowest? /sarcasm.
I tried everything for this boss, took tips, Its just not possible to do this if I am stuck in these conditions. I just wish there was a different instance for this boss.

I am having the same issue, and to make matters worse, I did a completely random pattern and it worked, didn’t even follow the puzzle. It seems to be displaying the wrong pattern then it is showing.
- I Eat Bacon, from Ferguson’s Crossing.
Upon doing the weeping cache tear puzzle, I can not for the life of me get inside of that puzzle, I did everything right, and nothing works, do a random combo, lights torch? I managed to get up to 2 torches lit just by doing random patterns, but none of the patterns on the face appear to be correct then on the ground.
Please check on this as there is only so much time to get the cache achievements done.

He said you are permanently in combat, not that you can’t WP. There is a difference. I noticed in the developer stream the guy wasn’t exiting combat despite there being no mobs around.
Normally you can swap skills and regen your full health until you personally have aggroed a living mob. The party aggro rule only applies to WPs.
I don’t think this is a bug, I think the electric fields might be keeping people in combat if they trigger them and until they leave their aggro range. Just a guess, but I definitely noticed this issue during the developer stream (he took damage from the field, no enemies were around and he wasn’t regenerating health like he should).
He pointed out the problem, this is what is probably causing this.
- I Eat Bacon, from Ferguson’s Crossing.
I discovered a new bug that i would like to address, once you enter in combat, you cannot leave out of combat, it is perm unless everyone dies.
Edit: im talking about unable to regenerate from out of combat, which practically lasts until everyone dies.
Edit; New Bug: Inspector Kiel bugs out and decides to space out not opening the doors after the spring jumping puzzle.

All I know, at least champions are dropping something compared to pre-november content. They changed the drop rate of champions to drop blues-exotics 100% of the time, only time you won’t get a drop from them is if you didn’t do enough damage(less then 10k damage). As to vets, they have a better chance of dropping items, I’ve gotten more exotics from champs/vets then trashmob, and the only exotic i got from a trashmob was from a Risen Putrifier(level 81).
The fact that you got an exotic from it, shows that the term trash-mob probably doesn’t even belong in the game. I spent 5 years in Guild Wars 1 and hardly ever heard the term at all.
Calling things trash mobs sort of belittles them. One of my guildies got dusk off a trash mob, or what would be called a trash mob in other games.
It amazes me how many people run through so-called trash in the dungeons, instead of killing them for loot.
Even stuff like the Jade Maw fractal, where I’ve gotten some great drops (including powerful venom sacs) just spending an extra two or three minutes killing to get to the boss.
And that is the thing, I normally don’t call them trashmobs, because I find it worthwhile to kill them all because, a chance is a chance but I say it for the sake of other people who call them “trashmobs” because that is what they are well known of.

Go back in time, have a legit childhood, and learn what 8-bit is.
Seriously!
Have you found that little easter egg in Ebonhawke, where if you attack a chicken enough times a bunch of chickens start swarming you and attacking? There are people who think this is an Angry Birds reference. Because it has birds that are angry.
When in reality its Legend of Zelda…

It sounds like someone needs a tiQQue, come on, give it rest, this isn’t permanent content, Anet was deciding to put out some sort of content for April fools as a simple stupid joke, and yet, if you are going to complain about it, then i feel sad for you, this is by far one of their best events they have and its far better then their lost shores patch, if you don’t like it, then don’t play it, simple as that.
They even did stuff like this in gw1, so I dont know what the commotion is about, it was honestly getting quite boring in the open world, and something as stupid as this honestly, makes the game 10x more fun. Not to mention you were turned into stick people in April 1st at 2008, in gw1

I am not totally sure if anyone has been experiencing this in dynamic events, but has anyone been experiencing harsh amounts of culling in PvE? Even outside of open world events, has anyone been receiving so much culling, even objects in the game are not appearing? Ever since they changed culling in WvW, it seems like they doubled PvE culling, where a group of people of 6-8 and 2-6 enemies are not visible to you, even in some points, yourself gets culled out. I am not sure if this is a bug or attended, but this is starting to get out of hand, including in Balthazar events, where you don’t see anything until you just realized everyone, including you, just got instagibbed.
The picture below shows how I feel and it seems worse then before ever since they removed culling in WvW, There should be an option to take off culling in PvE. (on/off)

Fractal Level
Discovered Dyes
High cost Weapon-made exotics
Ascended gear
Legendaries
by far legendaries has to be account bound, very time consuming to obtain.
And I will not do the transmutation trick as I will not know when they will release Ascended weapons, because they are upping the power of legendary to be the same or higher as ascended.

What I assumed what happened was. Some one told the OP to stop swearing. The OP said that’s what the swear filter is for and proceeds to swear even more to spite them. They report OP. OP gets a justified suspension and comes onto the forums to complain about it.
Is that a correct summary?
actually, no one said anything about it.
