No.
Actually they stated during a Livestream that translating even just the PvP-Editor for the masses would equal developing an entire new game.
So, No it will never happen nor is there a reason to do so.
GW2 never advertised any kind of editor – and also this stuff would make GW2 a different game – not a better game, a different one.
Dude – I think I don’t need to tell you how much work that would be and how out of touch it is with GW2s Gamedesign, but you may want to check out Everquest Next – could be the game you want Guildwars to become.
Is this going to become a serious topic?
Will GW2 be…
like2win?!
:D
Dude, that aint a Condi-Necro.
Alright – thanks for your replies. I guess we’ll see and i hope not to drag future teams down. =/
I just checked in to see at what percentage i am currently and was somewhat suprised to see me rankend at 112.
Ofcourse it would be nice to brag about this but to be honest my skill is probably average at best. Last time i checked i was at 90% and felt good about it.
Also i played about 20ish matches – so i am rather confused why i was placed that high and noticed some other peeps around my rank to also have less than 50 games but still are placed higher than players like Nemesis (~1800 games).
So is it true that everyone left to Teamarena for better random-groups, got struck by leaderboard decay and there are only like 100 active SoloQ’ers left or is the math behind the leaderboards bugged?
~Greetz
Just logged in to join the Evon.support – and I shall wear my Button during the next update.
I’m with the previous poster and with the OP.
I think i’ll start playing again, when new skills are introduced – i don’t find the new-content grind fun.
Anyways to each his own.
you still get… LAUWAARELZ
No. Please enjoy the little freedom you grant yourselves as gamedevelopers.

You should really post this on the GW2-website and launcher inbefore sh*tstorm happening.
But on a totally different note (wrong thread?) I agree with ThiBash – the emphasis on pure damageoutput kinda sucks. But I believe this was mentioned several times.

Instead of condition-spamlocking, you want power-spamlocking?
4 Seconds while channeling an undisturbed life transfer, with zerker-gear are hardly dealing less dmg then burn+bleed+terror.
I hope that one has not to comment now on every bad suggestion made in this forum, in fear that if not argued about it might see the light of day.
Boon-Duration would be pretty nice and kinda fit in a “celestial”-theme.
More skills would be awesome.
It would maybe lead to a more player-run balance, than having to play almost predefined dev-build builds.
Here I was: laughing.
As much as I hate Quaggans – it would be a perfect fit to Lions Arch.
I did some naked hot-joins with a thief once myself.
…
Hotjoins are just no fun.
Yes – it’s hardly harder to avoid than Guardian-Staff.
Don’t know about fearing people into the wall – but i imagine that you’d have to be rather skillful to pull this off with clever positioning and still rely on luck/ that your opponent doesn’t notice what ur up to.
I use it as an effective defensive-move against a thief when he’s popping invisibility – knowing he has to waste most of his stealth to get around it.
Anyways – nice foresighting skills.
Just had to revisit this.
I wonder if Elementalist and Guardians will really have children.
Maybe next expansion…
Wasn’t bragging and I didn’t say OP… but necro (attrition class) doing as much damage as it does now is a bit much. It does need a bit of tweaking but not a chainsaw. Unfortunatly a-net isn’t exactly known for that : /
Maybe but it’s not really an attrition class just because someone wants them to be.
I think it’d be sufficient to reduce the DS3 to what it was.
The difference between traited 2 seconds of fear and 3 seconds is pretty huge given that it is the most frequently used fear to ANY Necromancer.
But please don’t nerf the cooldown – it’s actually one of the few things Necros can rely on, when being CCed or want to prevent a ress.
The new Wall is cool – but i don’t understand why so many people are running through it repeatedly.
I think the most hardcore buff to fear was to DS3.
When near to an opponent it gets off a fear for 1.5 Sec if you go +100% Fearduration you get 3 Seconds of fear on a 20 (17) second cooldown which isn’t that hard to achieve and even without runes you get +80% from 30/20/0/0/20.
That makes your shortest cooldown-fear also the most dangerous.Ye the fear is pretty good, but compare 30/20/0/0/20 with 30/30/10/0/0 you have to give up 100 Condition Damage, 100 Precision, Lingering Curses or Withering Precision and Greater Marks.
Now compare pre-patch to now, if my maths if correct, with 80% Fear Duration we’ve gained just 1 second of fear with that skill.
You highlight a good strength, but it’s one that was needed to improve our escaping/defense.
I don’t see the use of some seconds Weakness on a 20 second cooldown – you can get weakness from your weaponskills. And lingeringcurses i don’t find that useful – after all you got already 30% condition duration from spite, which is pretty much what most necs with lingering curse had prepatch.
Sadly, yes i don’t use staff right now but the extra immob’ of dagger and the daze of warhorn are nice too.

necros are op yes, many people are just in denial.
Your claim is not very believable without any evidence proving they are op, which makes this just a troll post
i keep posting on my na account for some reason, here’s my thoughts on the patch anyways

or are they?
greenfish is on a postingspree
I’ll be waiting for this: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/professions/necromancer/SOAC-NA-Prof-Tourn-Necromancer-Sign-Up/
how did you beat condi-engineers before?
Yes. That’s why i think we won’t be embraced with open arms.
There’s soo gonna be a nerf next patch.
hahaha. Just tried some builds around and 30/20/0/0/20 + Conditionapplication via DS5 is pretty fearsome. So gonna get nerfed. x)
I don’t think the Gw2 A.I. is giving much to the dynamics of PvP-Fights. Look at Svanir/Chieftain or even the Lords and their Bunch of NPCs – they are but food to most players, ‘cause if you are used to kite players you can almost ignore NPCs if u don’t want to burst them down.
I like the suggestion in OPs first post.
Besides the huge discussion about balancing leaks.
yay!
When I compare the mesmer with its GW1 counterpart, I can see how they are related. Much of what the mesmer did from the punishment, to the interrupt to misdirection has been translated very well. The only thing that is missing is the energy denial. Although they have denial in other aspects.
What? No way. I actually played Mesmer in Gw1 for years – and since beta i knew it was nothing like i used to play. Seriously the Illusions are pretty contradictal to the “be the first target in a teamfight, ‘cause otherwise you’ll lay waste to their support” feel of gameplay. Interrupts are nothing to the mesmer they used to be. The whole idea of hindering enemys at their play is soley reflected in confusion. I’d like back any class which could strip an enemy of a Skill. Had the Necromancer more acces to interrupts and confusion added to his nice chill – i’d love playing him as i used to play mesmer.
Sadly – i feel like if this game had less condition-removal and less condition-frequency but therefor longer lasting conditions – it’d be pretty awesome. Every condition on it’s own is imo quite unique. However most builds just go CONDITIONAPPLY and just put everything out and in seconds and in huge numbers. Ofcourse this forces the game to have every class acces to near constant conditon-removal – however it also strips the condition of their unique effects – i mean really, who cares nowadays if he got 5 stacks confusion, 8 Bleeds, Burning, Poison and Cripple from an engineer or 10 stacks of Bleed, Poison, Cripple, Chill and Weakness from a necromancer. It’s applied in 4 seconds and removed in one – but even if it where not you’d just be noticing your life drop significantly and your movement be slow. I find the whole concept of condition-spike nonsense. If you actually want to effect your opponents gameplay as for example chill is meant to do, you’d have to go full Chillomancer, which strips you of most your other usefulness as a CC or anything.
I’d like a Guildwars, in which no skill applies more than one condition, perhaps on a longer cooldown and complete lack of abilities to clean off of them.
Yeah… anyway just wanted to say that Gw2 Mesmer is not at all like it used to be in Gw1 – don’t say that.

I started my Necro about 5 months ago coming from ele previously.
Playing Ele is fun – but to me it was just to stressfull – for pvp it was fine, but having to be on my toes at all times during random PvE-encounters just sucked.
I liked coming to necro. Having Staff get’s you easy to lvl 80 and you dont have to be afraid to get fragged by some skelks. Necro is also the only char i got the 100% Map-completion for – ‘cause i like playing him to a level, where even grind was kinda fun.
Today i’m mostly playing pvp and it’s quite nice that he’s considered so up. It’s always nicer to know, that you’ll be rather getting buffed than stripped of your play-style for sudden nerfs. However – i certainly lack the experience of much Tpvp besides solo-que. And if you bother to read some of the threads – there are some pretty valid points to what the necromancer lacks. Also having 25 Stacks Bleed max is sucky for dungeons. :/

At least raise the cooldowns to sth. like elementalists earth focus 5.
1. Different Game Modes +1
2. I know this won’t happen, but i’d really like to not be bound to so few weaponskills. I’d really like to select my main fighting skills and not just some Utility-Skills with huge cooldowns. :/
3. Being able to disable enemy minions names to be displayed.
Just an idea for Spvp. Secret mission risk if you’ve ever played it.
On match starting, or new hot joiners entering, each team is given their objectives and a objective completion list.
Red team:
Hold the grave yard for 6 minutes continuously
Eliminate both lord elementalists
Eliminate 25 blue playersBlue team
hold waterfall and graveyard capture nodes continuously for 3 minutes
eliminate 20 red players
destroy both doors to red base areaIt sounds comical and over time players will learn and figure out what the other teams secret objectives are, but much like this version of risk, new missions can be added or changed as wanted for diversity. Much like this version of risk it is hard to tell at times if someone has hold 24 territories with a man on each, or if their going for hold 18 area’s with 2 on each, or if their going for hold the continents of asia and europe or if they’re going for eliminating one specific player. It is only once you have won you reveal your card,..up until then half the fun is guessing what the other players missions are and trying to get your objective whilst stopping them from potentially getting what you think is theirs.
Just an idea.
I like the idea.
Actually speculating on thief-movements gave me some good times. While Aoe-Bombing in complete rage till everything’s on cooldown – that awkward silence when you notice: “thief’s gone”.
These moments are gold. :D
Make spectral grasp a f2 skill. Muhahahahah
That’d be awesome! :D
My guess is rich coffers evtl. gonna show up in the gem-shop.
Plus making two tiers of rng-boxes might not even be that bad of an idea.
Heads up buddies – i bet most of you look cool even without Sclerite-skins.
like… Gw1 UI-Customisation was awesome.
I’d really like to be able to dismiss the DEFEAT SEITAN notice at the top of the screen.
Plus it would be far more immersive to be able to have just thy mini-map activated while strolling through the world. Sadly turning of the UI also hides all dmg-indicators.
I am thrilled for the underwater-stomping!
I dont even care how they are implemented, but not having to follow someone for minutes will be great.
Necro – 80
Ele – 80
Guardian – 80
Warrior – 46
Ranger – 35
Thief – 2 (just to 2222 in PvP when bored)
If you’re feeling nostalgic for thy Trinity – just play as a tank… or a DD-glasscannon…
