Exploits@arena.net is the best place to report these things. Yes, it is used to report in-game exploits, but it can also handle reports like this. Moving forward, it’s probably best that reports go there instead of on the forums.

Tournament organizers can regularly take 1-2 weeks to report the winners to me. From there it can take 1-2 additional weeks to distribute prizes depending on the specific day I receive the results.
That said, the past two weeks have been particularly hectic for me with WTS taking place. I’ll have everything sent out this week that I have requests for.
After a thorough internal investigation it has become very clear that the players who signed up to play on the roster of “Majestic Capricorns” in the European World Tournament Series Invitational Qualifiers were not the ones who actually participated in the event, violating a number of rules regarding eligibility as well as Section 9 of the Guild Wars 2 User Agreement (players may not share accounts).
Additionally, the Majestic Capricorns have also violated the following World Tournament Series rules:
Players who engage in unsportsmanlike, disruptive, annoying, harassing or threatening conduct or violate any rule, gain unfair advantage, or attempt to obtain winner status using fraudulent means, including, without limitation, cheating, hacking, deception, or other unfair practices, in Tournament Organizer/Administrator’s reasonable discretion, will be disqualified.
By participating, players understand and acknowledge that the Tournament Entities are responsible for all aspects of this Tournament, and that the Guild Wars 2 User Agreement and Rules of Conduct shall apply.
As a result of the aforementioned rule violations, the following actions will be taken:
Effective immediately, team “Majestic Capricorns” and all players directly involved in the deception described above are hereby disqualified from the World Tournament Series 2015.
Majestic Capricorns forfeit all pending rewards for tournament participation.
The Majestic Capricorns forfeit their match against team Orange Logo. Orange Logo will move on to the World Tournament Series Finals in Cologne.
Additional penalties for players involved will be handled after an investigation for each individual case.
Fairness in competitive play is something we believe in very strongly at ArenaNet and as such we are taking this violation very seriously. Our investigation into this matter will be ongoing and additional penalties may be levied at our sole discretion.
5 months ago, Evan Lesh confirmed that Team X is based on the first person to join the team. I don’t know if things have changed since then (esp since Evan did not comment on it just now), but that’s how it is.
Should still be the case.
It’s pretty clear that Team X’s MMR it is not only the MMR of the first person to join the team. Right?
Not MMR, just ordering on the scoreboard. MMR is calculated with party average.
Should have the word Copy (or regional equivalent) on it in addition to the symbol.
Ah yeah, that’s a good point. I need to send a batch of strings off to be localized this week; I’ll see if I can get that one in. Ditto for the QR button.
Please post reports and concerns about the 28 July build in this thread.
Having this one main bug report thread will help the team track bugs and get attention on them as quickly as possible. Consider this the “One thread to rule them all” in this case.
Update: Just heard from Ray that this issue should be solved for nearly everyone. He said there will be a few who may have difficulty queuing for a completely different reason, but for most, this bug has been zapped. (The other situation seems to be under review, too.)
Thanks for your patience while the team got this sorted.
As a reminder, the WTSIQ for Cologne is live tomorrow at 8am Pacific (15:00 UTC) beginning with the Europe, followed by the North American event at 2pm Pacific (21:00 UTC).
If you keep getting redirected into a match, try logging off for more than 10 minutes. When you log back in, you should be able to continue playing, but may be unable to queue for PvP until we fix it up.
The “race for the roses” type of gamer, players who rush through content as quickly as possible to get to the top level, end game, etc.
“The “stop and smell the roses” sort of gamer, players who take their time and probably engage more in the environment, story, personal interaction, etc.
“Different strokes for different folks,” as the old saying goes. I fall into the second category and I admit it, sometimes it makes me a little sad to know how much some people miss by not savoring the moment, as least with one character.
This is something that the team is still working on, and it has not been back-burnered. We’re sorry for the time that it’s taken to correct this, but as mentioned previously, we want to ensure we do it right so we’re taking the time to research every aspect of the fix.
I love the connection to the past, as well. I think it will be fascinating to play as a revenant and to play with revenants in my party. It’s just a fascinating concept, I think: to be able to channel much-revered (or much-feared) characters from days gone by.
The heal skill which moves the tablet is ground targeted, so you select the location to move it too.
The tablet, right now, cannot be damaged or destroyed. It’s there as a skillful delivery mechanic for all the skills as well as a way to display ‘tells’.

Any idea on how much of a rework stolen bundles are getting?
In the 3 hour AMA when we got to thief there was mention of changes to the stolen items.
Can we expect the same items just rebalanced a bit to be more fair or are we talking almost completely different things in some cases?
Great question!
There will be a couple of changes to items stolen mainly from players (though these do exist in PvE as well). This is mostly out of necessity due to the changes with Improvisation and in how you’re able to use a stolen item multiple times. Some examples:
The necro fear skull is going from 3 seconds maximum, to 2 seconds maximum. The guardian mace daze will be reduced from 4 to 3 seconds for daze. The ranger’s Healing Seed will have a reduced duration (10s → 5s), but pulse twice as fast (2s pulse → 1s pulse).
Needless to say, it’s not the goal to remove viability of using a stolen item once. There’s just a few cases in which using the stolen bundle twice does just a little too much.
Thanks for the feedback and for keeping things civil, everyone.
Lovely to hear from you, NoobStar. So happy to hear that you’re enjoying the game again. It’s ok to take a break; we’ll still be here for you to welcome you when you come back.
And thanks to you guys who posted the same thoughts. You all made me smile.
Hey just wanted to poke in here and say thank you to everyone who posted in their feedback! The feedback we have received has been awesome and again thank you for taking the time to try stronghold and give feedback.
It would be nice if you could add a GUID for the characters as well and probably add the possibility to query by that GUID instead of the charname.
I threw an issue into github for this; it was something I was meaning to do before release but it slipped my mind. Querying by id is going to be surprisingly difficult (since the id will have to be generated from some immutable private per-character data), but throwing it into the character blob as a unique identifying field should be pretty straightforward.
I’m less concerned about the verification of an API key since this PR (https://github.com/arenanet/api-cdi/pull/27) might be a solution, i’m more concerned about the fact that authorization (log in with gw2) is impossible.
I’m not clear on how that’s a solution for verification. Would the application only accept keys that have a specific name?
Orochimaru — I did not make the announcement until today, therefore zhonnika was not in a position to post and ask for feedback or input on an official basis. I will say that the report we received is very comprehensive and will be of value to the devs.
I’m sure as time progresses there will be interaction, input, and comments, but in this case, please consider me the “responsible party” (if you must ) for it was my tardiness in making the announcement that prevented any level of feedback for the first report.
Also please keep in mind that Forum Specialists are volunteers and they are given latitude in how they create the reports. For instance, one specialist might start a thread to gather input; one may share the preliminary draft; another might share the final; a fourth may send the report directly to ArenaNet and only refer indirectly to the contents of the report in threads in which he/she is active. All of these patterns are acceptable, for the decision on how to gather the feedback is up to the individual specialist and, we’ve found, can be equally viable through interaction or silent observations of key issues.
I’ll clarify. I watched the GvGs. Only my second night so it still looks like 2 blobs smashing into each other but it sounds amazing when you can listen in on their comms. (Twitch). Regardless, some people love it and I like seeing players use the arena constructively.
This is directed to all the human beings that helped create GW2 and make it a reality.
Thank you.
For a great game. Beautiful atmosphere. Wonderful details. Fabulous music. The world is just amazing in so many aspects.
Sometimes we players can get a little carried away with our opinions on how to make games better, sometimes we should just step back and marvel at how kitten awesome it really is.
Cheers team and keep up the good work!
Signed

Thanks for the kind words. The constructive criticism helps us make the game better, but the compliments are nice to hear, too.
I’d like to introduce our two new WvW Forum Specialists:
ArchonWing.9480
zhonnika.1794
We had many exceptional forum members apply, but selected these two based on their high levels of involvement in the subject of WvW, their passion for the gameplay form, and their commitment to provide balanced feedback based on the overall input of WvW Forum members.
We’re looking forward to working with both Archonwing and zhonnika and thank them for their willingness to serve our excellent community of WubWub players!
Hey, this is great. Can you please keep the good ideas coming!? I’ll ask the team to give this a peek from time to time — we love to hear your thoughts.
