As for your suggestion, I see your point very clearly. Please, may I ask that you share that in the Suggestions Forum? I will be happy to point out the difference in our two systems — and your thoughts about a “confirmation” — to the devs, but it would be nice to have your thoughts on that forum so that I have that background to point to.

We did an exhibition match yesterday against some of the guys from KongZhong! They were highly knowledgable about the game, and VERY nice! Maybe you guys can find it and check it out if it makes its way to youtube.

If possible, change the cursor to a more visible one, many times I lose in the fight chaos.

1. In Windows, press the “Start” button and locate the “Search programs and files” bar at the bottom of the start menu.
2. Type in % temp % as shown (though remove the spaces before and after the word “temp”).
3. Press “Enter” and a new window should appear with the location of “C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Local\Temp”
4. Locate the folder labeled "gw2cache-{RANDOM NUMBERS} and delete it.

I agree with the two gents above (assuming you’re both gents, and not ladies). The crash logs are showing some CRC errors and so I’d start with a disk check and follow with a repair of the client.
Why don’t you just make Gem Store deliveries NOT count as personal email, they get deleted as soon as you claim the item you bought. Maybe even tabbing the e-mail box between event, personal and store?
Believe me, we have discussed many ways to address this issue, and I’m confident it will be addressed in the future. Brainstorming ideas can take place in the Suggestions Forum, if you wish, but doesn’t really have a place here in Account Support. Thanks for understanding.
You need to have spent at least 1 trait point, it sounds like you reset your traits back to 0 already, so it won’t give that option again until you spend at least 1 point. It doesn’t check your gold, but it does check to see if you’ve spent at least 1 trait point before displaying that dialogue option. If you can, post a screenshot of your traits screen.
Can you do something for the right click targeting too ? I’m tired of targeting people while i’m clicking on right click on my mouse to change the axe of my camera to see around me.
Targeting should be left click, not right click since we need it to change the camera view and a lot of time it target someone because you need to be fast…
There was an option added a month or two ago to disable interact on right-click.
Mouse targeting is doing some pretty lame things. We have cleaner versions we’re trying out now. Most notably: Selection radii appears to be far too large. Also, you cannot select new targets in front of your current target.
This is the same issue we have with earning glory and rank points. Revamping the way this works will be part of our rewards restructuring.
Please immediately stop making new tickets. It appears you have submitted at least three in the last few hours. The answer will not change, but you will slow down responses to you and to other players.
Also, you believe that a game error resulted in the deletion of your characters. That is not what our evidence shows, so I have amended your thread topic, because it contains inaccurate information that others may misunderstand.

Those achievements are actually based on personal score, not rank points.
I see several of these each day. Is anyone looking into some sort of alert on the mail icon to tell players to empty their email? I would think this could save a lot of support costs as it seems to be the most common yet easily correctable issue I see in here.
Yes, I have it written and ready to go, but there are many layers of production — far more complex than my small contribution — that must take place before it can be implemented into the game. I know it’s coming, though!
You’re asking for review of tickets just minutes old. And you’re asking for a review of a situation that has been reviewed, multiple times, and for which the outcome will not change.
The accounts in question were used in a network of scamming. Innocent players fell victim to an individual or individuals using multiple accounts to scam, relay/hide items, and scam again.
These accounts will not be reinstated. That really is all there is to say on the subject.
Hi Wellread – What’s your ticket number? Tickets are usually answered in the order that they’re sent in and so if we’re experiencing high volume, then, yes, you would have to wait a bit longer for a response.
Additionally, issues such as this are not always that much quicker over the phone. You would still be asked to run certain tests, some of which require a certain amount of time to be completed from your end and also requested of you the same information.
That being said, as I’ve mentioned on countless posts in regards to this error, it’s a general connectivity error code. It can be caused by a number of different things which is why some data collection and troubleshooting must be tried.

There is a bunch of people on both sides here at Anet, granted I have been pretty pro Evon!
This was an intentional change. The previous behavior where the pull succeeded regardless of facing, was inconsistent with other pull skills like Scorpion Wire and Spectral Grasp, as well as most other ranged targeted attacks. It’s still a useful skill. Yes it has a longer cast time than other pull skills, but it’s unblockable and brings all of the other tool kit skills along with it.
Desaturating/fading non-players is a good idea. As for selecting targets in follow cam, are you referring to switching targets, or just selecting a target to see their buffs, hp, etc. While not a major concern, it would just have to override target of target.
We’re kind of on a time crunch, so yeah
If we’re going to do any hotfixes before the Qualifiers this weekend, they need to be asap.

Ok, here’s the deal. I’m hearing different things from everyone I talk to.
1. Necro DS is too much and should be brought down
2. Necro damage is too much and should be brought down
3. Necro survivability is bad
Which is it? At this point, I want to see streams and videos of matches. If you have examples of the following, please share (STREAM SHOULD BE AFTER THE PATCH):
1. Team w/ 1 necro vs team w/o necro
2. Team w/ 1-2 necros vs team w/ 1-2 spirit rangers
3. Team w/ 1 necro vs team w/o neco but w/ berserker stance warrior (with heavy CC build – maybe mace/shield + hammer)
4. Team w/ 1 necro vs team w/o necro but w/ 1-2 spirit rangers
5. Team w/ 2 necros vs team w/ 1 necro & 1-2 spirit rangers
6. Team w/ 2 necros vs team w/ 2 berserker stance warriors (with heavy CC build)
7. Team w/ 2 necros vs team w/1-2 spirit rangers & 1 berserk stance warrior (with heavy CC build)
8. Team w/ necro vs team w/ Engi (w/ 30 pts in Alchemy)
9. Team w/ necro vs team w/o necro, but with any combination of the following: spirit ranger, berserker stance warrior (with heavy CC build), Engi w/ 30 in Alchemy, guardian w/ contemplation of purity/stand your ground.
Any other examples are welcome, but I want to SEE that what you are saying is in fact true. The sooner the better.

First, this is not your first offensive name. The first was for a cutesy attempt to work around the filter with a variation on a clearly-offensive name. You’ll serve this time out because this is not your first offense.
I simply cannot believe that anyone living in today’s world, and playing a game populated with players from around the world, would not acknowledge that your second bad name choice falls into an truly unacceptable category. Note this:

Have offensive racial, ethnic, national, or cultural connotations
And that is the very first category that is called out as prohibited, by the way. We absolutely will not permit the name, and an appeal will be a waste of your time, and ours.

Hey all, just wanted to let you know that we’re watching this thread closely.
Really appreciate the constructive feedback, particularly yours, Phantaram. You seem to be analyzing from a very objective and unbiased point of view, which is very helpful.
As for the subject at hand, I don’t have anything to remark about it because we’re still wanting to see more constructive, unbiased feedback. We’ll continue to observe matches today to determine if any immediate action is necessary.
Is it a coincidence that Kiel is running for the seat of the Captain Counselor she let be assassinated? Either she’s incompetent or evil.
Gnashblade is a cunning businessman that can realpolitik his way through the Captain’s Counsel. He’s by far the superior candidate.
I can’t agree I more, I mean Gnashblade could buy the vote at any time but he doesn’t because he has integrity unlike that incompetent wannabe caption who lets face it killed the old counselor member for her own gain and covered up her own blunder by finding the nearest pirate and blaming it on her.
The ‘votes’ that count are the submission of Support Tokens to either candidate basket on the Zephyr Sanctum.
Using the candidate buttons to represent a candidate will allow you to do the content that progresses the achievements.
The best real world analogy I can give is:
Support Tokens = Voting
Candidate Buttons = Campaigning

Looking at the screenshot, it appears that your last achievement chest was the 1500 pt chest. The 2k and 2.5k chests are upcoming awards.

Thank you for voicing your concerns with the flute.
Again, we apologize for your struggles with this instrument after the latest build. I would like to reconfirm that it was never our intention to negatively impact songs you’ve been previously able to play or with new performances. The scenarios described above regarding extreme difficulty playing the same note back-to-back were not reproducible in-house or reported by play testers, even those with musical talent playing popular songs discussed in many other threads.
That said, there will be a fix for the problem, one that reverts functionality to the way it was before. Additionally, by popular request, the ability to stop the currently playing note will be moved to the ‘0’ key. This fix is currently targeted for release with the next Living World update. Thank you for your patience as we address your concerns.
I’d like to add that we are committed to providing a fun experience with each of the instruments and are always open to healthy, constructive feedback.

Hey there – Since you’re already logged into your account as you are posting on the boards, simply click “My Account” under your e-mail address, and then you should see the option to download either the Mac or PC client.
I’m going to have to go with Kyllaa on this one. Generally this kind of issue occurs when you have special bags equipped.

Hi Wiara – Could you please post a crash log to the thread? This may shed some light as to why you’re crashing all of a sudden. You can find this by navigating to Documents\Guild Wars 2 and it will be the ArenaNet.log file. You can attach it to the thread by clicking “More posting & formatting options…”
He can delete all characters (moving save-able items to the bank) and then change servers. One change is allowed each 7 days.
