Ok, so Nunna, just proceed to take the copper and report immediately the guy. Be happy that you earn a copper and your report will be looked into in the meantime. You cannot delete emails with objects as this feature is a protection against accidental deletion of attachments.

Higher server population and maximum player cap in world vs. world do not go hand in hand. Yes, there is a statistical advantage of this happening – since you can fall back to a higher number of players. But stochastics and ‘large numbers’ do not per se grant an advantage – since we are talking mere ‘probabilities’. It still could happen that you have a caped out world population – of which no one wants to (or can) play at night.
The free character transfer is NOT a core mechanic of the game – but instead a launch only initiative to balance out server population (to actually prevent the above mentioned ‘possible scenario’). It will go away at some point.

All is fair in love and war – and as love, WvW is a battlefield.
There are exploits, I’ll give you that – but then there is coordinated effort to ensure your world or your team uses each and every resource they have to their advantage.
War is not fair, war is not pretty, war gets out the worst in us – and the best – and even if we have excluded open world pvp from the rest of the game, this is exactly what happens on the WvW maps: It is the ‘playground’ for strategists and great tacticians, it is the place for coordinated efforts and mean ideas in the middle of the night.
Night capping is one of those valid tactics to score some points in a lasting battle – to get your world the upper hand, or cancel out daytime supremacy by another well coordinated opponent.
As Guild Wars 2 will progress in time, so will world vs. world and core gameplay mechanics. But for now, night capping is one valid possibility to ruin your enemie’s days – pun intended.

Hi i just wanna report some bots.
I did it also via the in game option (right click on the bot and reporting it).I hope i wont get any trouble about that cause they were many (around 10) and have kinda similar name so it made me kinda spam the report option to be sure to report them all !
Should I post here screenshots of them ? Or is there any other formal way to do it than the in game reporting system ?

Do not worry. If you reported correctly those fellows then there is no way your report can be considered as spam. You also do not need to send the screenshots as the in-game reporting system is enough.

Using any kind of speed or map hacks will never be acceptable and will always be a bannable offense. We have been banning people for using them and will continue to do so.
AoE splash damage going through doors is something we’ve been looking at, but there’s not much we can do to change how it works.
We do have team members focused on WvW and they are currently working on some updates that will help support most of the changes we want to make to the game. Almost all of the updates they are doing right now are structural changes to the underlying code and will not be visible to players so we haven’t been saying much about them, but we need those changes to be completed before we can work on the updates that will be apparent to players.
We are working on a few content updates that do not require any updated code, but those will be smaller impact changes compared to the things we would like to do once the code updates are ready.
I’m intentionally being vague regarding the various changes we are planning to make because plans can change rapidly during development. We do not want to get people’s hopes up by saying we are going to do something and then have that not happen for whatever reason. We’ll be providing some details about what we are changing once we start getting our more visible fixes are closer to going live, but that’s probably going to be a few weeks away.

This forum thread saw a cute thread in the necromancer section and paid it a visit. It is now back home in the personal story area.

I believe the issue, which is fixed in the 10/1 build, is that the NPCs are set to follow Trahearne. If he’s out of range or dead when they receive the follow order, this can cause them to ignore it and do nothing. In the 10/1 update I set them to follow the primary player, so this shouldn’t be an issue.
I’ve been about as patient as possible with support so far.
I opened my ticket [Incident: 120828-006042] on the 28th of August with the title “Cannot use GW2 CE key” as I was receiving an error message stating I had already applied the key to my account.
I never received my CE items or the Mistfire Wolf skill but I am still able to play the game so I know that some sort of serial code must have been applied.
I updated the ticket after reading about others having trouble with their items/skill and asked for the items to be sent.
The only responses from Arenanet were copy pasted ones which did not help with the problem I was and still am experiencing.
The ticket was then closed by support despite not having been resolved on the 11th of September.
I re-opened the ticket and asked again for my items to be sent and the skill to be activated.
On the 20th of September the ticket had somehow made its way to NCsoft support, this where I received my first human response from what I can only imagine must have been an extremely puzzled man who then put me back into the GW2 support system. This same person also helpfully changed my ticket to title to the slightly inaccurate “Deleted CE/DD items”.
I updated the ticket thanking him for changing the title and waited patiently for a response.
Which brings us to today, where I logged into support intending to update the ticket as I had not been sent the items only to find that someone else from support had changed my ticket’s title to “Serial Code Issue – NOT A CE/DDE Item Deletion Issue”. They did not even bother to send me a message about the change, and I believe this may have been why I was not on the list for being sent the items on Friday.
What I would like is for an actual person to read over the ticket and give me some sort of human response. The ticket has been open for almost a month now and as far as I can tell only one person has actually bothered to read it and they were not in a position to help me.
This actual person has read through the ticket, twice.
It’s a really perplexing issue, as you can see from my response in your ticket.
We should have this addressed tomorrow!

The 10/1 build should reset players who skipped forward back to the “Choose your order” step (which varies by race), though it’s a code-side change so I don’t know any details beyond that.

Note: Because you had the Rytlock and deleted it, this will not apply, but for others, we ask that they verify they Pre-Purchased the Collector’s or Digital Deluxe Edition. We’ve found that about 20% of the people who are asking for items are not eligible, because they own the Standard Edition.

We don’t allow the use of may NPC names in GW2. It created some confusion in the past, so we simply prevent their use. You’d find the same if you tried to use other well-known names like Devona or Dhuum.

We are working on an account restoration system that should be in place pretty soon. This will roll back the account to a point prior to the compromise, once certain parameters are met. We’re very much looking forward to being able to do this for players!

Who is the voice actor? He really delivers.
Matthew Brenher did the voice of Trahearne.
Salvaging PvP items should only give the PvP materials (tokens, dust, etc). If you remember what it is that you salvaged that gave you PvE materials, could you let me know?
As mentioned in the other thread on this story step, we’ve had an extremely hard time trying to reproduce the bug that people are reporting. We made some changes in the 9/24 update that fixed the most common problem, but the 10/1 update has some more fixes.
Given that Charizard begins as a lizard type (Charmelon) and is actually classified as a dual Flying/Fire type (not a Dragon type, despite its appearance), the answer is that Charizard is not a charr.
Also, we’ll have to close this topic because it’s hardly on-topic.

Here’s an update: We’ve done two mass distributions, and are now handling this individually. One thing we have noticed is about 20% of those who write asking for CE/DDE items do not own a CE/DDE. Yes, they pre-purchased the game, but they pre-purchased a Standard Edition, not a Collector’s or Digital Deluxe Edition.
A Pre-Purchase of a Standard Edition did earn you the Hero’s Band. It did not entitle you to the Miniature Rytlock, Summon Mistfire Wolf Elite Skill, Golem Banker, Chalice of Glory, or Tome of Influence. (Info here.)
So please check your receipt to confirm that you did purchase a Collector’s or Digital Deluxe Edition of Guild Wars 2. If you did purchase a CE or DDE, and if you still do not have your special items, please update your ticket to let the Support Team know that this is the case. You may also post here, if you wish, but the distribution will be done by ticket, so updating there is sufficient.
One note: There is not benefit to asking for multiple replacements of these items. The items are bound to your account and cannot be traded or sold. The one-time-use items—such as the Golem Banker—expire with use, and once you’ve used the item a replacement set will not give you a new, functional item. So please do not request another set, once you’ve received the replacement.
