I don’t really see the goal for this thread to be honnest.
If a lot of players are gathering in a huge army, maybe there are some ways to divide it, like attacking several distant points at the same time and using a kind of guerilla warfare while the biggest part of the army is trying to contain the overflow. I know it’s easy to say but it’s doable.
Anyway, I will close this thread due to the fact that it’s not a real discussion, however, I’ve seen some interesting suggestions inside, so you might want to post them in the appropriate sub forum.

My apologies for the delay. Have you submitted a support ticket yet? I did not see anything within the Game Advisor report after running Msconfig that would explain the issue that you are experiencing other than possibly your method of connection. Are you able to connect directly to the modem via Ethernet cable?
If this doesn’t resolve the issue for you I would recommend creating a support ticket as there may be some additional diagnostic information we would like to request from you that probably would be best not to be posted here. Once you open a support ticket, please update this thread with your ticket number and we can go from there.

I just had my post that contained botter screens locked and an infraction notice give – as it’s ‘not the best way to inform them about bots – use the report function. The report function is obviously completely useless as there are bots destroying entire zones and the economy – left to bot 24/7 for days, and days and days. We need ACTIVE in game GMs to respond to these bot reports quickly and effectively, not a once a month ’ooh look we banned .002% of the botters’.

I just ran through as a sceptre/focus elementalist, and it was tricky, but consider that I don’t play elementalist regularly, so I wasn’t using any attunement switching or even traits for that matter. Making sure that Shodd tanks for you is necessary, I found that he could (barely) stay alive long enough for me to take out the enemies. Keep in mind that destroyers are immune to burning, so if your build is intended to use a lot of burning or +condition damage, you’re going to be at a disadvantage.
A fix is in, and going up tomorrow, but it was too risky to do an emergency build and not go through testing, which is why it was set for the next scheduled update.My point was: consider the amount of people affected vs. the number of people not affected, and weigh the risk of introducing a bug for EVERYONE when trying to fix a bug for a small percentage of players.
The fix is simply to have Magg run back to the door.
In general, people will do whatever they can when they are backed into a corner. It’s just part of what humans do when faced with adversity – we use our intellect, creativity, and ingenuity to find solutions to problems. That event is incredibly difficult, and it’s not shocking that players will use whatever tools and techniques they can to get through it.
As a dev, there is a brief moment when I hear about an exploit and think to myself “Clever. Wish I’d have thought of that.” before I enter fix-it mode. I’m more upset at my failure to anticipate an exploit than I am about the person who finds it.
Let Shodd absorb the fireball opening. I did this in one try with a thief without being downed or kiting.
