I knew they had to be fake,cause they were all good.To bad Necro could really use the fixes.
I still don’t get why people think this update is good.Its the same old zerg fights with nothing to work for other then the ugly back item that doesn’t even look right in GW2 lore.
They are making it very easy for me to quit the game and move to Wildstar.
Go in circle, zerg fest, farm bags, repeat.

Did the event two time’s saw how boring it was and went back to playing Wildstar.
Once again they drop the ball.
Game is 100% dead now.It’s a good thing GW2 has a PTR to test out things in real time.
Which was actually a underwater spear with the Order of Whispers skin.
It isnt a spear,it says Polearm under Exotic.I was on my Necro when it was linked and it said Weapon type unusable.
There is no Source,a polearm weapon was found by data mining.
The new Data mining shows that new weapon type have been added.So it looks like we might be getting 2h Axe as the new melee cleave weapon.
Now they know how PvPers feel with each update they put out and its all about PvE.
I was already today,then I saw that it was the same old zerg boss fight and a go here click on item missions.
I just don’t get why Anet first did all this balancing around Dhumfire being to strong and now they’re essentially “nerfing it” after they made alot of our skills worst… So, where is our compensation? =/
They don’t even have a clue what they are doing.Have you seen the live stream?They don’t care about us.
It is telling me to move on to something else,I have lost all hope with the balance team.Each update is getting worse and we still have skills that have been broke from day one.
Necros don’t even want dumbfire.
This just shows how clueless they are. Time to find a new MMO to play.
2014 is do or die for them,there is to many big MMO coming out this year.

Celestial armor is good to use if you want to get some defense,but still keep high crit dmg.You never good full,but the helm,chest and legs are very good.

so.. axe or dagger and staff in secondary.. once i tried both, but looked like useless..
i m actually thinking about axe, for the retaliation and 2° skill spamm..
in the end, i should just fill the time without DS.
i just interested to dagger 3° plus well combo.. sounds good.
for the gear, maybe a mix is the right choice. For the runes, i guess the red opal(?) ( 120 power, 12 critical dmg).. am i on the right way?
Red Opal are good to go with if you don’t have the gold to get real Runes.

If you start Ghastly Claws and they go stealth, the skill continues to hit them…
You can do the same thing with Dagger 2 and get a free heal.
Very true, Though i would take the Life Force regen and high damage over a poor heal, though i guess 2k isnt to bad, should be better though and the damage is like less than a quarter of that of Ghastly Claws
My Dagger 2 hits for 3-4k,on Zerker thief’s it more.I never find it a problem getting LF in fights.
I like and use Axe sometimes myself,but if you fight someone that knows about Axe,it’s very easy to not get hit by GC.

I Solo Roam with this build and it does very well in T1. Staff is a must IMO,it works the best when fighting thief’s.
I solo roam with my Celestial Necro and its a blast,it’s funny hitting people for 5k dagger hits.
This is the build I run with.

Collision detection is a terrible idea.
Having the ability to block someone from going somewhere will be a nightmare.
If we have problems with griefers (from other servers) suiciding golems in WvW, imagine what they can do with collision detection. Five will stand by an entrance and no one can go in.
Just a bad idea, i’m glad it wasn’t in this game to begin with.
It would be like DAoC and WAR and it would be so good.
Till this game has collision detection and no AoE cap,WvW will always be just a zerg vs zerg.
Its very easy to fix.
Take the ICD off both parts.lower the healing on hit to 100 and 200 for the active.Make it so it scales well with healing power.
I understand why no dev has posted here because there is no justification they can give for the signet that will change how it is. Im pretty sure that a good few of them already realise how bad it is and realised this during the preview but by that time it was too late for anything to be done about it.
The ones that most concern me is the ones on the testing or balancing team who designed the actual numbers and tested the skill. I can only assume that they have infact hired Mr Magoo to do their testing because that is the only reason why such an awful skill could bypass any scrutiny done on it before it got to release stage.
It would be different if you went well if you do x, y or z it could work or if x scenario it would be useful. But I could use all the letters in the alphabet and still not find a suitable scenario where this skill would infact work or be viable. That is the biggest concern for me is if something this big can slip past any testing, number crunching, balancing etc then how can we actually trust anything they say if this is the result of those procedures. The skill should never have been released like this and it should have been caught well before it got to this stage.
All they have to do is just roll it back to how it was and let players test it before they nerf it.
A good video, but it’s tough to tell if you were staying healthy because of the signet or because of the healing capabilities of your allies.
It wasn’t the signet,it was him being in a group with a Guard and Elem.He could have done all that with out the signet and his health would still look the same.
I got 2 devs to tell me they’d pass it on to the Balancing team.
Thats their way of say,yeah whatever.
I have been told by a few people in game that there is no ICD on the active. And let’s be honest, I’m too lazy to test it.

There is, its character specific and whats worst it counts the cast second, so unless you got wells, locust swarm or marks triggering just as you cast, or you only get 4/5 triggers you can proc.
I was messing around today with it and 4 tick is all I could get out of it.
Finally managed to try it out myself. I was worried about how poorly it would scale with my healing power, but wow… It’s like it doesn’t scale AT ALL.
Still, after spending some time roaming around Orr, the passive isn’t too bad, at least as long as I’m not unreasonably outnumbered. It negates a reasonable number of attacks from trash Risen.
Active has some problems (not already covered by posters here), since on more than one occasion it failed to place a mark on my enemy, and not because of problems like line of sight, out of range, evasion, or block… it just plain didn’t mark. You have to be facing the enemy at all times in order for the mark to be successful, or it fails. I do like how often I can cast it though. It works best as something to keep you topped off rather than an emergency heal. I have yet to see how well it works in a dungeon or fractals situation.
Try it in WvW,its like you never have it on.
Afer playing with the new skills for 5 hours,I can 100% say this skill is junk.

Because some of us like diversity, and the class well enough to want to try and play it another way. Just because I can face-roll 90% of people in a 30/20/0/0/20 build, doesn’t mean I always want to run that build.
Having viable options, even at the cost of the favored builds would be fine for me. However we seem to continue to see reductions to our strong build, without any notable buffs to our weaker builds.
Trust me,im a celestial hybrid Necro and never use FoTM builds.But in a Condi meta game,its just not smart to run anything but CC.

My necro has over 1k SP,he wont miss 25 on a useless skill.

Except I know Wildstar isn’t going to be worth my time, because they are dead-set on re-skinning WoW, which I absolutely hated.
I was being sarcastic,I played Wildstar and it isn’t that good.With each update GW2 is going the same path.
I was all for the Dec 10th patch,now it just looking like a big let down like the WvW chest.
The skill was useless before they even nerfed it,now its not even worth the time it took to even code it.

It was so sad watching the live stream,even the Devs were like,WOW what a crap skill.
They spent over 5 mins for each class on talking about the new skills,they got to Necros and were done in 1 min.The live stream was so funny,even in the stream you could see that the skill sucked,he was at 1hp used the skill and his HP went up to 2k lol

My celestial necro is going to love this,with a little change to food and sigils,I can easy get to 1k+ healing and just lose alittle bit of condi dmg.
Nope you can’t SPvP is like it’s own game right now.
Based off how I read it, PvP armor seem to be look but no stats.
So if you want the stats, gotta go through PvE dungeons to get it.I think this means that a set you take from PVE into PVP, it will be statless in PVP. But if you used it in the open world, it has the stats.
Regardless, lets calm down about the “oh dungeons are useless now”. Think about it…you still need to grind to high heaven most likely to acquire the sets via sPvP. Or, simply run the dungeon. Pick your poison. Run dungeons for gear or sPvP. Personally, I’ll still run dungeons.
The only set that I can see people being PO’d about is the Arah set since its the hardest to acquire.
Two of my alts have full SPvP Arah set and I have a full set in the bank lol.Trust me i’m not mad,this is great news.Now I wont feel like im killing my time playing SPvP.
So I can get a full Arah set by just PvPing and never have to step foot in Arah?That is going to make alot of PvE people mad if that is true.
I doubt that. You will probably have to transmute skins. Its a nice change each side (PVE/PVP) has its own unique skins you can earn and if you want to you can just transmute them. Fair solution for everyone and anet gets a nice boost in sells for transmutation stones.
I use Tranz stones now,so that isn’t a big deal.I didn’t run Arah for the stats,I ran it for the skins.
