Yes, the whole point of this change was to prevent graveyard zerging bosses. So until everyone is out of combat or your party wipes, you can’t respawn.

I agree that the elitism is getting a bit out of hand, but about the mob skipping, there is a reason people do that. They have way too much health and not enough reward for killing them, so the time cost-reward ratio is really bad. That’s why people often skip mobs because in the end most of the good loot comes from chests or bosses. I’m not saying you can’t get a random exotic off a mob, but the chances are slim and not worth the time. Mobs can also present problems to more inexperience parties, causing downs/deaths/wipes if you don’t know what you are doing. Skipping them prevents that from happening and actually saves a lot of time in some cases.

Sea of sorrows just recovered from a rather large server outage. Were the other two servers effected? come back online and we’re down to 130 ppt.
I believe so, at least Blackgate folk were unable to log back in for a time. Luckily we realized this quickly and spread word to not log out.

Now, this buff states that the NPC cannot be killed while under the effect. But as we all know, if you stack vulnerability and other conditions, you can in fact kill the NPC in question. Is this condition workaround something anet intended to be used, or is the buff really supposed to make the NPC unkillable by any means?

So for me at least, this really changes nothing at all. From what I can tell it will simply enable people across NA/EU servers to PvE together (i.e. world exploration), but at this point I and many other players simply don’t do that anymore. Most of the endgame lies in dungeons or WvW, and given that you could already party with same region people, it’s not really a big change.
On the other hand, new players can explore with their friends now I suppose.

I have had this problem as well since Wintersday. I made a post about it in the bug sections of the forum and it seems like other people have the same issue. With 30 AR I still die on lvl 30 Maw, when I shouldn’t even be downing. I haven’t done a lvl 30 for awhile because of this annoying bug.
Blackgate
This has happened to me twice in the last two days, but it appears that my agony resistance is bugged. For the Jade Maw fight with 30 resist I should be able to out heal and not down at level 30 (I’ve done so multiple times already), but since 2 days ago I am now getting hit for around 25% of my health (x9 ticks, you do the math) and I die. None of my gear has changed, I’ve even tried re-equipping my rings and backpiece, but it doesn’t work. This apparently is a problem for others too as everyone else in my party with 30 resist also died.
Has anyone else experienced this?
Blackgate
Crafting. Going 1-400 in a profession nets around 10 levels in experience and can be done in as little as 30 minutes. It’s not cheap, but it’s fast.
Blackgate
Was at Jade Maw in fractals, normally I can out-heal the agony but this time it killed me. My backpiece was damaged, not broken, and someone in my party said that’s how it’s supposed to work. If it’s damaged I don’t get as much agony resist from it. I’m not sure if that is intended or not…
Blackgate
I never noticed until today, but apparently even if armor is just damaged (not broken) it already starts to lose some of its stats? I was under the impression that only broken armor has stat penalties, given that the tool tip for damaged/broken armor states “when all pieces are damaged you will begin to lose effectiveness”. If only one piece is damaged and you already lose stats, that tool tip is very misleading.

Auto-attack is enabled/disabled by hitting Ctrl + Mouse 2 on a skill. When enabled that skill will automatically repeat whenever it’s ready (your weapon 1 skill is set as this by default, since this is the basic auto-attack).

I just spent 7 hours on path 4 because I’m stubborn and I wanted my title.
And then I immediately went and did path 2.
Having experienced every dungeon path, Arah is definitely a step up from the kiddy dungeons like AC. Not very pug friendly, and if you don’t have at least 1 person who knows what to do, you are gonna spend a LONG time to complete it.
I’m sorry you seem to be having trouble with bugs and such. As others have recommended, just do path 3 daily. It’s easiest and assuming no bugs shouldn’t take you more than an hour with a decent group.

Out of curiosity, why would you need that much space? 20 slots put you at 100 inventory space without buying any additional slots, and that’s quite enough unless you are farming for 10 hours without ever going to a vendor.
That being said, it’s unlikely we’ll ever see anything over 20 slots.
Blackgate
It’s not bugged, the stealth only lasts for 2s which isn’t normally long enough for an enemy to actually wander off. It’s best used with the teleport ability.

I don’t see why this needs a nerf. Sure it’s annoying that the ele can keep running out and maybe downing 1 or 2 people that happen to be too close to the nukes, then run back in and res, but when it comes down to it if the attacking zerg is large enough the keep is going to get taken regardless of the fact that there is an “unkillable” ele guarding it. Once the gate is down that ele is going down too.
And like people have said, even if the ele downs a few players, the rest of the zerg will just res them which basically makes the ele’s attacks pointless. There is no way the ele will have time to pull off a full kill.

If you’re trying to use two sigils that have a stacking property (such as Bloodlust and Corruption) then you should know that only one of them will work at a time. Whichever stack you start with, you can only increase that stack, making the other sigil useless. All other sigil combinations should work normally. For example, I have a Sigil of Bloodlust on my main hand and a Sigil of Speed on the off-hand, and the stack works and I get a swiftness buff on kills.

Unfortunately Necros lack anything that could be considered a nuke; the majority of their damage comes from conditions. So, as a long range nuker they are not very viable, but they can be an effective support class in other ways. They have area heals, plenty of CC and mentioned conditions, and minions. It’s unlikely they will undergo any redesign.
Mesmers can also support well with illusions and AoE conditions, and it’s hard to beat a well placed Time Warp. They do have a few nukes (shatters, for example) and several ways to give allies boons. Mesmer can also double up as a melee-based class when needed as well.
If you solely care about being a long range support type, most people would prefer a Mesmer when asked. Try it out to 20 and see how you like it.

That is my favorite one, I agree it’s very epic.
There’s always that one person in my group though that has so much trouble getting past the wind/bomb sections though. xD
Blackgate
It must be possible to make, but no one has tried/discovered the recipe for it yet I assume.
Blackgate
Go to Cursed Shores and do any of the many events going on, preferably in a group. Also use karma boosters if you have them.
Blackgate
Guardians are pretty good at running Orr. They have many skills that grant stability which prevents CC from annoying enemies like the Purifiers and Acolytes, and if you do have to stand and fight you can easily handle 4-5 Risen without breaking a sweat. Also as mentioned Aegis is a lifesaver, it can prevent combat long enough to commune with a skill point or get that ori ore before you get ganked.
Blackgate
Doesn’t seem like there is one. Keep in mind not all sigils/runes can be crafted.
Blackgate
Wouldn’t this be more suited for the Suggestions subforum?
Blackgate
You don’t create it at the forge first of all. Chances are you don’t have the recipe unlocked. You have to buy it from the Master Jewelcrafter for karma before you can create the jewel. After you unlock it you should be able to discover it assuming you have all the ingredients.

Well there are 5 nodes in CS and ML, and 2 in FG, so you can see if they have them all. And if you find one in the right spot chances are the rest are correct as well. Just use the most recently updated map that has the most points. Make sure to like the map if it’s correct!
Blackgate
Better off buying a precursor than shelling out 500g for the lodestones lol
Blackgate
I’ve always wondered about this. That’s why I usually clear mobs away before gathering.
Blackgate
Never use the server map, it contains an overlay of all the users that have a map on that server, with the more popular ones having the nodes highlighted. Go to map list and select an individual user’s map and there will only be the nodes that user has found.
Blackgate
Anet has already specifically said that they cannot do this, and that the safety and well being of your personal self is more important than any computer game.

Tailor will save you more money come endgame when you are trying to get full exotic armor. Jeweler is actually a viable way to make money if you get the ores yourself, and you can get trinket upgrades easily. So I’d say that those two are good choice. Mesmers have a large variety of weapons they can use so choosing Huntsman/Weaponsmith/Artificer would not be as useful, not to mention they’d overlap with the fine crafting materials that are required for Tailor. Jeweler only takes gems and ore.
Blackgate
Yeah it can be laggy sometimes, I find it works best with Chrome.
Blackgate
as neoxide said, use orrmaps.com. Easy to use and people can pull it up in 10 seconds and select your name to see where the nodes are. It even lists servers and you can choose which map you want to use based on how many locations it has and how many likes it has.

Yes, please do explain how getting to level 80 is considering “winning”. Just because you can potentially pay to do it faster than others doesn’t make you better than them.
