Consider finding training runs. No you probably wont get a kill, but you will make yourself known and eventually get involved with a guild with proper communication tools to eventually get the kill.

i dont need training run’s, i dont enjoy kicking people out of raids for 4 hours just to complete one raid boss (it kills the community)

Your whining kills the community. Raids are meant for organized play for experienced groups. If any pug could join a raid group wearing their flashy green gear and defect a wing…. gw2 would be a joke! Juts because you have played since beta doesnt make you privileged. If you want easy content, go do dungeons.

Doric is mainly used for one thing now… farming leather. Honestly if you want different nodes pick another map.

As mentioned to many times… Anet is not updating Dungeons paths. I would assume they will not be adding anything that has to do with dungeons to the game at this point either, such as a que. I run dungeons all the time and honestly would not bother using a dungeon que. It would likely group me with a bunch of low levels looking for a carry through the dungeon. Ques work well in other games because it would fill required rolls, which in GW2 dungeon case… isn’t a big deal.

I would go with Condi Ranger… maybe step into druid as well if your into healing. The rotation for cranger is easy as well.

I don’t get why players say people don’t do dungeons anymore. There are plenty of players doing dungeons daily. Whenever I start a group I have no trouble filling it, unless its a weekend NA morning.

Sure they are not as popular as they use to be, but players still participate.

no. properly ran dungeon tours are still one of the best ways to earn money. especially if you have recipes for exotic trinkets (for example 2 arah paths is bonus 5g for p4 recipe). if you dont have recipes, you can salvage rares/exotics for leather, insignias and ecto. + each path gives you ~0.8-1.8g + a lot of coin purses + backpieces with jewels worth 30-60s + a lot of champ bags + greens and blues + lodestones + 5g and 150 tokens every 8 paths.
dungeons are great because the rewards scale with speed and skill, thats why player level was overall better before HoT came out.

Very true.. I have a few recipes and they are great money makers. The Replicator – 28-40g everyone 200 tokens…

@Wendy – go ride your horses in Black Desert then. You’ll be riding your horses more then playing the game.

We already have an achievement base on the number of skins an account ha unlocked…. that’s good enough.

Probably clipping, I think a floating back piece would look weird for a lot of the skins.

What about having the stowed weapon attached to the back piece instead of the back of armor? Just throwing it out there.

OP – do you actually play this game.. or log in once a week, fail a meta, and consider it not doable? Playing during NA, i beat the TD, AA, and DS metas randomly for a week straight. Didn’t fail any of those 1 time. All in all I believe AA was beaten 7 times, TD 4 times, DS 3 times. I wasn’t even trying to complete these I just happened to log on and find people forming in LFG….

CoH was def not a sister game of gw……….. it was a game people may have played at the same time….

This event seems to be bugged.
[Group Event] Kill the jotun abomination destroying the Priory camp

Its been staying on 5% for the last few days. This needs to be completed in order to fulfill Dredgehaunt Lynx Refuge Sign. The other event doesn’t spawn unless this one is completed.

You can see the Veteran laying on the floor not despawning. with 1/4 life left , like he was being ressed.

Other options:
Leather Farm in Lake Doric
Dungeon runs – once its complete 5g + use coins to buy armor and salvage for ecto
TA Aether Path – theres the spcial exotic u get once u complete this and the price ranges for 1.5-18g (maybe even more) – make sure to get in an experienced group or this can take forever.
- All of the Meta on the HOT maps – they can provide gold and if you are crafting a HOT weapon you will likely need these anyways for the HOT crafting mats anyways.

Now that I think about it.. the email I wrote to Anet was about P2 not P1. I actually have the replicator recipe, and was comparing the price to all the others, and was kinda confused lol

Ah your right didn’t think of that!

I emailed Anet about recipe that is suppose to drop from a boss in the past and they told me in now drops from the chest. I assume the same for goes for the Replicator. I also got a recipe from TA to drop from a chest, so I don’t think thats the case.

Hey all, I’m not complaining I’m just wondering why The Replicator is going for close to 50g on the broker. None of the other dungeon craftables are close to this.

You say you have raided before in other games so I’m sure you are aware that gear is important. You want to make sure all your armor is at least exotic and make sure your weapons, accessories and trinkets are all ascended.

Once of the most annoying things to do in a raid is having to carry someone. A lot of raid squads run DPS check programs so they know whos falling short.

You can get your full beserker set for COF, and farm the new hot areas to grab the ascended accessories. The weapons you will likely need to craft, most important being the GS if you are going warrior. Honestly probably dont need an ascended shield or mace.

Thats my advise.

It is simple really, story content should be soloable in the extreme. It is story and seeing as everyone pays for the game then everyone should experience the story on their time without limitations. If you need others you aren’t playing on your time anymore you are playing on theirs.

Why should they be soloed to the extreme? This is a MMO…. last I checked there is no 1 player mode….

Yeah same thing happens to me with groups im in…. My first kill it was during training.. did it on 3rd try.

Yesterday ran this for 2 hours with multiple groups, couldn’t get him down past 30%…..

Another thing I love is when people with the red circles around them group up with others on green circles… especially when multiple red circles do it at once….gg.

The 4th boss wiping a second time isnt a bug. Once you gg your party is dead, and you are ressing to fast. Some captive in the boss fight dies once the fight is over and kills everyone in the area… (something like that) so just wait a few seconds and you will be fine.

Red circles – sounds like that’s more of a problem on your end.

You sure its not a problem with your spacebar? Or are you auto attacking right before you hit glide, sometimes this screws it up (well it used to at least).

Probably the same reason the regular story mode is not account wide.

I’ve been playing GW2 for years and still love running dungeons, hopefully Anet brings them back at some point.

Raids are fun to though, but sometimes just need an easy relaxing run.

Hell no man, the only reason I still do dungeons is to get them all. If you can buy them, like with the fractal tonic, it just removes another reason why i still play the game.

absolutely not, that is an awful idea. a rare drop is meant to be rare.

Ele also generates group might better then guard.

People always seem to find this difficult… whenever i feel liek doing it i seem to find a squad pretty easily, that can complete it.

Just popped into Ember Bay, after doing some events I jumped onto the long ley line that runs from the first WP, ive done it a couple of times before as it has unbound magic along the route – all now gone?! Bloodstone Fen is packed to the gills with purple orbs have you actually nerfed this or is it a bug?

I noticed some missing too after reset… hopefully it was just a bug.

I love both maps. Not crazy about the repeatable hearts though.

This is a waste of development resources. The raids are not hard at all, basically 10 man dungeons.

Oh please get over yourself, Raids aren’t a breeze. They are not comparable to a 10 man dungeon. They actually have mechanics to learn and even once you learn them, if you mess up it could cause you a group wipe, where messing up in a dungeon could cause you to go down 50% health….

I do agree it would be a waste of resources, it would take away from Anet releasing Raids as frequent. Raids should be what they are…. raids…..
