kinda like axe on necromancer… a weapon for upkeep of vulnerability, that’s easy to have at 25 stacks with other classes, and they don’t even try to apply it in the first place!
i get the medium dmg since it’s a medium range weapon, but the vulnerability could maybe be replaced with weakness or something. that’s a condition you rarely see applied by necros (and it kinda fits the necromancer theme too)

Does anyone have a map of the heropoints in the 3 new zones that AREN’T locked behind champions?
My dilemma is that I wanna unlock the elite specs on my alts but I absolutely HATE the new zones way of forcing you to group up to kill the champions, so it’s nice whenever you can find one that you can finish all by yourself.

I think it should be available for the new players at some point, in 1,5 – 2 years seems like a long enough time.
items that exist for a limited time is never fun, okay if you get to have the skin as one of few for half a year, but then it just gets boring. New players will only see a list of “can’t get this , not this one, nope can’t ever get this item either…” and to me, that is one of the worst parts of an MMO.

If you wanna feel superior, go do something in the real world instead

shields slant, but your name is also squashed into the ground (along with tags getting in your crotch-area). so maybe it’s not the shield that’s bugged but just what some part of the game recognises as the center of the player? and the shield focuses on that…

It may still appear, and I agree. As someone who mains necros the grenth hood is the hands down best headpiece you can get, everything else pales in comparison to this hood.
Got it myself about 1 year ago I think and more ppl really deserve to own this piece.

just did this part, like 2 hours ago… it worked fine (but you can clearly notice how amusingly odd it is with those 2 unmanned cannons letting those projectiles through)

This throws all my interesting ideas out the window but that’s okay, figured it would be smarter to ask someone that has tested these sorts of things before ^^

So I read that conditionduration is capped at 100%, the thing is, there’s no place that tells you if this means conditionduration ONLY or if it means this and poison/bleed duration etc.
So my question is, can I get 100% condition duration and still increase it even further by increasing bleed or other durations, making it to 110, or maybe even 120% total bleed duration?

Maybe, maybe not… but you can nevertheless already play as both races. The tonicfrom HOtW makes you into a kodan, and the endless quaggan tonic makes you into a quaggan. Then it’s just a matter of finding your preffered environmental weapon (my favourites are Jeeza’s flamethrower and the Icegun)

i wouldn’t be surprised if tomes were disabled the first month or so

this always happens to me if i am in a fractalgroup and leave while in fractals, leave outside of fractals, gets kicked out from fractals, etc…
Basically, every fractalrun ends in a crash to desktop

i would say:
banktabs > salvage o matic (copper) > harvestingtools > bagspace, in that order
oh, and get yourself some gatheringnodes for your homeinstance, it makes dailies all the more fun (not profitable in the slightest mind you)

i heard that if you (in the molten fractal) let frostbite stay and fight enemies but rox and braham runs towards the gated area, you will bug the run and the doors won’t ever open

from what people have told me I believe the shadowdyekit have a good chance of a shadowdye drop. I mean, there’s 10 shadowdyes and 25 possible drops (assuming the dropchance is the same on all of the dyes)

I don’t think they aimed at anything with southsun.
The fact that they never fleshed it out since release, the sclerite weapons (and backpack) you could get there at one point doesn’t resemble anything that exists on the rest of the island, nothing even happened lorewise from the tidalwave that should have been created when the island appeared (orr’s rising caused a thousand problems, southsun… none).

My guess?
Southsun is what remains of an unfinished concept of what orr was to be at one point, but they eventually changed it into the doom n’ gloom place it now is.

that skin is really good, but the banded shoulders are very horrible on male norns… it looks like a torn leatherscrap barely holding together over your shoulder.
Sigh, I really wish I got the pvp ones while they still were available, atleast those hold together at the straps

GW2 seems to crash recently everytime I leave group in fractals(so you also leave the fractals).
I have the commandline activated to see maploadinfo, is this it or is it something with fractals?

I see this new fun kitegliding and get this insane picture of teambased kite-battles for an activity.

IF you were to make it to the last orrinan map (Cursed Shore) without dying, there’s a really easy orrian chest that you can loot next to the first wp,it’s where the risen archmage spawns. You wouldn’t have to do a jp or even fight an enemy if you’re skilled

The majority of a game’s playersbase is very rarely the ones writing on a forum, it’s USUALLY a minority of the players who do this. Then there’s the problem that if people are content they produce a smaller amount of posts (there is nothing to complain about so it get’s meaningless to just make posts that praise and are happy).
So I hardly believe that you who complain are in majority

You mean real harp or gw2 harp?
Just like Guitarhero may be impossible for real guitarplayers so can bellchoir be for other real-life musicians. The end result, the music, may be similar but the way to produce it isn’t

why not simply stop and move to another location? By now, I know LOTS of places with clusters of minimally 9 critters (so you get the most out of them) that are in locations people rarely visit.
But yes, it IS more fun to be lazy and go to that one house in that one swamp where critters are basically shelfed in neat patterns. But guess what, you are definitely not the only one who likes that spot, so you WILL try to communicate with whoever interuppts your…. farm, and maybe party up. If said person ignores you you would be smart to move somewhere else (if you then decide that you shouldn’t have to move then you’re simply being stubborn, and that’s your problem)

well, today we were a group of 3 people doing this achievment (me just for the fun of helping) and we did it on the 1st try, one even got the instructions of me WHILE the boss was ongoing (he wasn’t even sober fyi) while I tanked and the last tried to merely stay ranged.
I really don’t get how this one can be so hard… just avoid getting tunnelvision, dodge through the walls (and turn off postprocessing)

I think this should be toggleable, floating damage-numbers exist in many mmo’s but why? if one wants to see the damage, you would merely need to open said log :S

I just felt the need to say this… zerker warrior is kitten in the Silverwastes, conditions are better, so this is possitive development (good luck taking down those slingers by yourself with a zerkerwarrior with a GS)

True, but if one person were to really want their gems back, take a look at how the clothrack looks both on the bltc AND in your actual homeinstance… it actually shows sheets of both silk and linen!
Thera is nothing telling the consumer that these items are not being gatherable from this node, hell some could even believe these are guaranteed drops, from the look of it.
So having these sheets of unobtainable materials hang there could be seen as false advertising, something that isn’t legal in most countries.

If you were to point this out you could perhaps get a refund

I understand you can and will play this game anyway you want, but i’m tired of all these gold-mesmers getting fast cash for porting you here and there. and why can they do it? well, because only so many CAN do it (only mesmers), so I aim to spread this out more evenly.

In the new JP in silverwastes, theres many badges that mesmers enjoy selling ports to, well, badge #7 (in dulfy’s video) anyone can port from, you just need an Experimental Teleportation Gun. You use it to shoot yourself forwards(from the badge), into the sloped ground underneath, where a portal will spawn, and now anyone can get up there.

I personally used this method to port people there for free for multiple hours today.
Now use this to sell, or do it for free. Whatever the case the market just opened up, reducing prices and maybe in the future anulling them totally

necro staff and Death Shroud. When he flies, stand in that one corner where the tentacles can’t reach you, then you mark every miniteragriff coming for you(the npc finishes of most of them) once that part is over the rest is just a fight of patience

I won’t care about it myself either. It’s too expensive and not that good locking. There are better looking items to try and get that’s much cheaper, IMO.
I will not care about this back (and you too apparently) until the plantfoods are down to 1G. That will probably take months but I have time.

Jenna and charr I saved on instinct (or perhaps because they were closest), then Plunt screamed for help and so I looked towards him, then I looked at knut and saw that Knut had a higher chance of standing his own ground while Plunt is small and feeble (even tough he has an annoying personality and a sharptounge).
So I saved Plunth and finally Knut.

I agree that the droprate feels ridiculous at times. Have opened ~100 chests up to now.

But eventually got a fossil on my last pick (gotta save up geodes for pottery clay). I literary felt like dancing

Is it just me or are the animation a little bit over the edge? I mean, a bloodfountain from a rock?
