Confused about new Expansion pricing

Kohlteth.3715

ok, I am confused, where is the “Upgrade to Heart of thorns” Pricing for Existing core purchasers?

If i was new i could buy whole game (Core + Thorns) for $49.99
Existing who already bought core for $39.99 has to ALSO buy the whole game again ???

even WoW dont make people do that to upgrade from one expac to another, they only charge existing client base for new addon.

What gives here A Net ??

One very kittened off player and I bet I am not the only one here

If you are looking so hard to bash Anet that you identify this button as some sort of money grab and take the time to make a thread about it, maybe you should consider taking a break from the game (or go find another game).

exactly, it’s funny how people have to pick apart this little thing as if it’s a gamechanger and makes the whole update kitten.

I’d prefer that the button wasn’t there, but I’m not going to make it into such a big deal to rant about it on the forums.

Exactly, its NOT like the “In game shop button” that WoW added, in like 4 different places .. now THAT is a blatant cash grab ( appauling for a Sub based game)

Blegh. All y’alls are haters! If every other MMO allows this and a trading post system why can’t we?

Because it’s inferior.

It’s less convenient,
It leads to scams
It leads to super annoying chat spam.

LOLOLOLOL and the overly strict spam system in GW2 aint annoying, where you type 4 times in Map and get locked out when trying to lead a party

Where you have a freind start playing and have to MAIL stuff back and forth but get blocked because you mailed then too fast

and nothing more annoying than the spam we have right now from a certain PVP gold seller

I believe this may be more in line with what players were hoping for. Also note, many of the tasks are BELOW the level where you will unlock a trait tier – this is intentional. I believe you will see better results if people can have immediate access to the content and use that to fuel growth, rather than being gated by their level for content they should have access to already.

Notice that most of these tasks are vague and open-ended, designed to compliment a “play as you want” style. Traits are gained in progression without having to force too much checklist style exploration. If a trait is not listed here, it’s because I personally consider it to be at least feasible. Others should comment as necessary.

Suggestions for new trait unlocks:

1-I: Obsidian Sanctum. Complete three jumping puzzles. Any puzzles.

1-II: Inferno’s Needle. Help the Charr fight the flame legion! Complete 10 Flame Legion-themed hearts

1-III: 100% Gendarran Field. Complete five “combat” skill challenges in Kryta

1-V: 100% Blazeridge Steppes. Defeat a Champion creature in Brisban Wildlands

1-VII: Ogre Camp. Locate 10 “camp” POIs

1-VIII: Citadel of Flame Defeat a Champion creature in Fireheart Rise

Problem: Trait unlocks are tedious (line 2)
2-II: Twilight Arbor. Help the Sylvari fight the Nightmare Court! Complete 10 Nightmare Court-themed renown hearts.

2-VI: Lornar’s Pass. Complete five “commune” skill challenges in the Shiverpeak Mountains

2-VII: Hylek Camp. Defeat a Champion creature in Sparkfly Fen

2-X: Personal Story Forging the Pact. Complete one group event in five of the following: Sparkfly, Maelstrom, Timberline, Frostgorge, Iron Marches, Fireheart

2-XI: Crucible of Eternity. Secure Infinity Coil

Problem: Trait unlocks are tedious (line 3)
3-II: Battle for Claw Island. Complete level 28 personal story (racial arc)

3-III: Stonegaze Spire. Complete five “combat” skill challenges in the Maguuma Jungle

3-VI: Victurus the Shattered. Locate 10 “ruins” POIs

3-V: 100% Fields of Ruin. Defeat a Champion creature in the Fields of Ruin

3-VI: Giant Blood Ooze. Help the Norn fight the Sons of Svanir! Complete 10 Sons of Svanir-themed renown hearts.

3-VII: Dredge Camp. Defeat a Champion creature in Bloodtide Coast

3-VIII: Sorrow’s Embrace. Defeat a Champion creature in Timberline Falls

3-X: Battle for Fort Trinity. Locate Vizier’s Tower

Problem: Trait unlocks are tedious (line 4)
4-I: Light in the Darkness. Complete five “combat” skill challenges in the Shiverpeak Mountains

4-II: Tytone Perch. Find Beaker

4-IV: 100% Harathi Hinterlands. Help the humans fight centaurs! Complete 10 centaur-themed renown hearts

4-VI: Krait Witch in Timberline Falls. Complete five “commune” challenges in the Maguuma Jungle

4-VIII: Chest in Arundon Vale. Locate Diedre’s Garden

4-X: Source of Orr. Chest in Arundon Vale

4-XI: Honor of the Waves. Defeat one of the Dragon Champion world bosses (Teq, Shatterer, Jormag)

Problem: Trait unlocks are tedious (line 5)
5-I: Caudecus’s Manor. Complete five “commune” skill challenges in Kryta

5-III: Retribution. Complete five “combat” skill challenges in Ascalon

5-VI: 100% Dredgehaunt Cliffs. Help the Asura! Complete 10 Inquest-themed renown hearts

5-V: Champ Ice Wurm. Defeat a Champion creature in Lornar’s Pass

5-VI: Lord Ignius the Eternal. Defeat a Champion creature in Snowden Drifts

5-VIII: Infinity Coil Commander. Defeat a Champion creature in Mount Maelstrom

5-IX: Admiral Taidha Covington. Defeat any of the 50-70 world bosses.

5-XI: Overgrown Grub. Complete 10 “combat” skill challenges in Orr

5-XII: Ruined City of Arah. Complete 10 “commune” skill challenges in Orr

WOW !! Well thought out and so much more doable while still encouraging people to go out in the world and find stuff without the impossible tasks that are there now.

Thank you

I don’t know about anyone else, but when I start playing a new MMO, the worst thing is when you cannot experiment when everything is locked away until later, when you cannot play the class / profession you want to TRY OUT… lower the Trait unlock level back to 15 or something, make them easire to unlock or even give them away for leveling and let the Master / GM ones huntable .

Do away with the stupid lvl 50 area for a lvl 30 trait quests and for everyones sake, make them ACCOUNT WIDE UNLOCKS :-) Please

Kohlteth.3715

Hey all,

I see a lot of people talking but with a thread this long the details are often muddied by a large number of similar but differing opinions. I want to address some of the more straightforward stuff.

Trait Tier level increase. We made this change because despite what the more hardcore players like myself want, most players need to be introduced to systems more slowly so that they don’t get lost. Every time we overwhelm new players that is an opportunity for them to stop playing the game. Every time that happens it becomes harder and harder for new players to develop into longtime players. Without more longtime players it becomes hard for you and your current guilds to meet and find people to replace those who inevitably will be pulled away by real life from time to time.

Unlocking traits. We talked about this a bunch in the horizontal progression CDI and it came to our attention that many players were not learning about traits, how they worked, or understanding the options. When we talked through unlocking traits via activities it led us in the direction we have currently. Unfortunately, unlocking traits in the open world generally causes one of the #1 things we never wanted in the game which is players in conflict. You want might the Balthazar trait but someone is about to complete the chain and leave you waiting. This is bad for the game, but I think right now only occurs this dramatically for a few of the traits.

If you all list out the most offensive ones here we would be happy to look into changes given that we have already done so in the past when we switch many of the poorly placed map complete adept tier traits among a few other changes. Here is a list of those changes:
Profession Trait 13: This trait is now awarded upon preventing the Statue of Lyssa from being re-taken by the Risen, as well as defeating the corrupted high priestess of Lyssa.
Precision Adept Trait 5: This trait has been moved from Bloodtide Coast map completion to the defeat of Sharky the Destroyer in Arca Lake of the Harathi Hinterlands.
Precision Adept Trait 6: This trait has been moved from Fireheart Rise map completion, to the defeat of Captain Jayne in the Brigantine Isles of the Gendarran Fields.
Toughness Adept Trait 6: This trait has been moved from Iron Marches map completion, to the defeat of the Giant Blood Ooze in the Challdar Gorges of the Bloodtide Coast.
Vitality Adept Trait 5: This trait has been moved from Timberline Falls map completion, to the defeat of Gargantula, the spider broodmother in the Wynchona Woods of Harathi Hinterlands.
Vitality Adept Trait 6: This trait has been moved from Mount Maelstrom Map Completion, to the defeat of the Krait Witch in Timberline Falls.
Profession line Adept Trait 5: This trait has been moved from Sparkfly Fen map completion, to the defeat of the Champion Ice Wurm in Lornar’s Pass.
Profession line Adept Trait 6: This trait has been moved from Frostgorge Sound map completion, to the defeat of Lord Ignius the Eternal of Lornar’s Pass.

At the end of the day this system has helped spread out the teaching of the system and the feeling of accomplishment through acquisition, but it has done it in ways that are sometimes counterproductive and still not nearly visible enough to impact as many players as it could.

Guild Wars 2 is a game that is going to continue to evolve and it will be because of your feedback and our efforts so do not get discouraged from posting feedback and be patient with change and I hope we will reward that patience.

TLDR;
We added this system as a direct result from the horizontal progression CDI. We are always reading your feedback, however, we don’t always have time to respond right away or action it quickly. We updated some trait unlocks in the past but we can do more. How can you help?
1) Give us a list of the most offensive trait unlock locations.
2) Keep giving feedback and be patient as this is a big ship and it takes time to steer it.

Nice changes, now you need to actually read about the BIGGEST single PITA traits to unlock …… The Grub in WvWvW who no one ever kills so impossible to get and the JP one in Obsidian Sanctuary ……. moving them would help a lot…. as would doing away with map complete for Lornars Pass ( Have you seen the size of that zone, on EVERY toon = boring and repetative!)

Just make them ACCOUNT WIDE UNLOCKS then maybe people will unlock them so they do not have to do it again and again and again and again over and over on every alt !

I fail to see how dueling would be a problem at all in the game. (SNIP).

Try every troll continuously spamming you with duel requests ?

( I have played a game where they do that , WoW) so IF they did add duels, having a toggle to permanently disable requests would be needed !

Go to pvp for duelling and use the trading post for trading, have a nice day.

Please close this topic.

So when you are playing with your friend whom is new to the game and you want to send stuff to help them, as playing in lower lvl zones all the puppy you pick up is virtually useless to you, you then get blocked for spam when you try to send more than 4 mails to them.

Why can you not just trade directly with them, like EVERY OTHER MMO that I can think of has in place from the start !

-snip-

I like all of these ideas a LOT !!

I edited in a few more “bonus points” before you posted too, thanks!

Although I still think that the harder bosses should be in more level appropriate zones …..

Like where are all the lvl 70-80 ( 85 +) World bosses that should have been put in Orr ?

Or maybe one in Dry Top ?

Why are the biggest and best which most lvl 80’s fight, all in lvl 50 – 70 zones ?

oh wait, then again, why are many of them in STARTER zones ??

Something needs doing to let the lower levels fight the lower level bosses and the higher 70-80’s fight level appropriate bosses as the Downscale does not work, we all know that and lower levels hardly get to “tag” the bosses and certainly dont have the raw dps output needed to get anything worthwhile from bosses in their zone range !!

Things world bosses lack (Not just the shatterer, but most of them)

Stack Breakers

If it’s possible in any sense of the word to stand in one place for an entire fight with a boss and not die, that fight is broken. This doesn’t mean you need to one shot people, but the pre-nerf fire elemental felt like just the right amount of difficulty for a mid level boss. His flame pools hit hard, but were small and easy to avoid as long as one paid attention. Golem MK2 is a great example of easy-yet-gratifying boss design due to the mechanics of the static field. The simple act of seeing the tell for the field and moving out of the way, only so see John sleepypants next you you bite it because he didn’t is really gratifying, but not at all complex due to the otherwise completely ignorable other abilities.

Movement/Purpose/Grand Strategy

World bosses have no objectives. They show up and then stand around waiting to be killed until the timer runs out. Sure that shaman might be theoretically summoning a giant elemental, but in reality he’s just standing around waiting to get killed. The Ancient Karka was a great example of what a world boss should be, despite the massive lag and such due to problems with server tech at the time. That thing went on a RAMPAGE through the zone, and we busted up a fair amount of the environment and had a lot of different experiences throughout the fight. Chased it through trees, threw rocks at it, hit it with an avalanche, weathered a spiral of endless hatchling zergs, and finally stomped it through a hole in the floor. It was easily the best designed boss encounter the game has yet had (the recent pale tree boss is a pretty close second.) Sure some bosses have “phases” but they don’t feel like a meaningful and epic power struggle. They’re just minor abilities that even the boss doesn’t seem too interested in. Zone bosses, even the easy ones should be map-wide events with big set pieces of destruction and interesting mechanics related to the path the battle follows. Bonus points for branching paths based on player action or random number generation! A dragon rampaging through a zone destroying stuff is still a timer, it’s just a much more FUN timer than having a bar on the screen while it sits still. The fire elemental could tear through the lab, destroying equipment. The shaman could command his ice elemental through the zone, freezing monsters and ambient critters in his wake, add spawns could appear from logical places like huts and caves along the battle path rather then out of nowhere. It would still be the same fight mechanically, but it would be a lot more fun to take them all “on tour”.

Unique Rewards

The “hard” bosses have these, But the easier bosses should have them too. What harm would it be to make all of the rares from each boss bonus chest contain a unique skin set for the boss they come from? It would increase the reward factor for fighting them even if they didn’t technically hand out better loot. Nobody said all the skins added to the game had to be super-rare. Heck, maybe put a handful gem consumables on their loot tables as well. Surely you won’t automatically see a huge dip in gem sales if boss chests dropped the occasional booster or black lion key as people determined to get these for free already use rerolling key farm to do so more reliably and in a non-gated fashion.

Deathblows

World bosses are one-note fights without a lot of personal interaction with the players. Sure, they target you, but what if they had unique ways of finishing off players that died within their zone of attack? This would be another way to increase the epic feel while not making the fights much more difficult. Let’s say they randomly target players that have been dead for over 15 seconds and do nasty things to them. Maybe shatterer picks a guy up and eats him, of the shaman/elemental sucks them up in to the vortex to spin around for a while before being flung over a nearby ridge, etc. This would make the fights far more thrilling. “Oh crap, look what it did to fred! I’ll avenge you fred!” In addition, having a “corpse clear” mechanic for them would add a low impact way to make them feel nastier that normal mobs while only slightly increasing difficulty. Conversely what if random players were selected to land the final blow with an amazing and heroic animation similar to the ones we see in games like skyrim or dragon age? Don’t tie any achievements and rewards to it, just have it be a cool visual thing that players get to see themselves do on a rare occasion.

I like all of these ideas a LOT !!

So newer players / Players leveling up are NOT going to want some super leveled boss there ..

Why not make the harder, bigger, badder bosses in Lvl 80 zones ?

Where you would expect the hard stuff to be !!!

I love how everyone glossed over what I thought was a valid point about WHERE the bosses y’all want harder are placed !!

Tha Shatterer is a Dragon Champion. He’s one of the 3 strongest bosses lore-wise. He should live up to that from a gameplay perspective.

Then if He is going to be that hard, He needs moving into a lvl 80 zone, not a lvl 50 zone !!

I think if they are going to make them so hard to unlock ( or have to spend a puppyload of Skill Points and money on) that they should make them account bound at least… That way people would be more likely to make alts knowing they no longer have the CHORE of having to yet again try to unlock the traits the SAME WAY again on every alt…

I wonder if they even realise how much of a puppyfest it is trying to do Obsidian Sanctuary on an Charr or large Norn to unlock the falling damage mitigation trait ( kinda ironic concidering this JP is one that makes you fall the most )

Rebalancing the Scale-down Feature

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Posted by: Kohlteth.3715

Kohlteth.3715

Ok, here we go again:

Threads like these pop every now and then. There are generally two types of people replying:

  • People like OP who want monsters in low level areas buffed or high-level players nerfed, because otherwise they don’t have challenge and fun.
  • People like me who want everything to stay as is because we enjoy character progression and want to kill weak monsters for poor rewards in low-level areas much faster, because otherwise we think it’s boring and not fun.

If I invested in leveling and gearing my character in ascended, I deserve return on investment in form of faster kills and easier dailies. Getting to 100% map completion was rather boring already on my fully geared lvl 80. I don’t want huge HP bags with stupid AI everywhere, doubly so if they drop 1 silver stuff.

If your problem lies in running with underlevel friends, than simply gear yourself with greens of that level or take off some armour. Sorry, but I don’t want to be involved in a global solution to someone’s own personal problem

There’s been a thread on this subject before. There were basically two groups of people:

  • those who thought it was boring because it was easy;
  • those who thought it would be boring if it wasn’t easy.

You’re in the first group. I’m in the second. You like challenge; I like progression, I like to feel stronger, I like to get lower rewards only for easier tasks.

If they buffed the monsters for 80s, I do not think I would ever finish my map completion.

Just a small question: After the mega server update, have you been in an event with a lot of high level players, and tried to get credit as a low level player?

Your opinion only takes into account a few situations, such as world completion. Whereas the general idea behind adjusting the down-scaling system is to make the game a better place for everyone to be, not just your lv80.

Prime examples being the Savanir Shaman event or The Reactor Fire Elemental that dies in a matter of seconds and if not an 80, no chance at loot.

Or The one in Harathi Highlands that due to sheer DPS output from zerk 80’s even when downscaled makes lower ( level appropriate people) get basically nada due to the way they judge loot .

0.) A true living world, where it’s unlikely that you will run into previously seen content, unless you stay in one area all the time.

1.) Seasons (and associated weather and foliage changing); one season lasts 1,5 month, 4 seasons, for 2 rotations in an IRL year. would come with seasonal hearts & DE’s

2.) True Nights; the game desperately needs darker nights, feature (1) should also come with a difference in content during day & night-time.

3.) Tiered DE’s; to emphasize the impact that players make on the world, the DE-system should have a tiered approach (for DE’s in key sections, as well as diverse locations). Each tier should have sensible and tier-themed DE’s spawning when the meta-string is in it’s respected tier. Failing to do events, or simply not doing them, count towards a hidden counter for ‘upping’ the tier; Successful completing events, or completing key events, count towards a hidden counter to ‘down’ the tier.

4.) A Living Story, that visits both existing maps, as well as revealing new ones (these new ones would have all of the above). That has big open world one time events (f/e turned into a cinematic or adjusted to fit into instanced replay), that comes with a nice replay feature for new players and alts. But most importantly, that adds new DE’s to existing chains, adds tiers or changes them, or introduce entirely new ones.

OOOh I likey !

Anthony, can you tell me why karma seems much less important now that it has been at release?

We have added a few karma sinks along the way but typically new content comes with a new currency, eg. candy corn or geodes. I haven’t personally implemented all of this content or currency but if I had to guess I would say that this pattern exists because we actually want to give you specific rewards for specific content.

What are the chances of getting more of these currencies added to the wallet instead of filling up bank spaces or bag spaces???

I wish Anet could broaden their merchandise selection. As it is now, the products are really restricted. I would gladly support the game with my money if they could make some cool merchandise. The opportunities are endless!

Personally, I wish I could buy:

1. Personalized 3D model of your own character
( eg. FigurePrints)

2. Framed GW2 art work.
(maps like those from …..Skyrim)

3. Miniature weapons.

Why don’t they make these?

Feel free to list what you would like to buy.

Would be REALLY cool if you could have a group portrait of all your toons on the front of a Credit card..

I know WoW does single toons on their Visa card.. GW2 could do good with that one , especially if there is an incentive like 4000 free Gems if you sign up or something.

Define what “endgame” really is. Other mmo’s “endgame” is usually just grinding the same raids over and over for a chance at better gear. I do not find that fun at all.

No other MMO’s endgame is:

1. Hardmode dungeons
2. Raids with 12-14 unique bosses with special mechanics and a unique storyline with access to the best gear in the game.
3. Endgame zones that provide good rewards with repeatable content
4. Unique mounts and cosmetic items that are acquired through long quests, and achieving difficult objectives.
5. Crafting with special bonuses

GW2 endgame is:
1. Repeating the same dungeons every day that you have since launch
2. Grinding mobs for 10000’s of hours in the hopes you can make money faster than the price of precursors rise
3. buying stuff in the gem store
4. Living story

Right now the only thing GW2 has going for it is living story, which provides the story aspect of raids, but does not provide anything else. The complaints over the past two years have mostly focused on the other aspects of endgame that are missing. Challenging content, long quests to acquire unique items, new dungeons, new zones.

You forgot to mention the endless RNG grind to attempt to get BiS gear, then the endless trolling in 5 mans and LFR / Heroic Hero’s who play 24/7 and look down on all…
Oh yeah and then having to farm every week for Valor Points to upgrade or guilds wont take you that week and stupid caps on VP so you can “maybe” buy something each week, (which of course is then obselete by the time you get the set you are like 20 ILvls too low)
But sure, lets have the same awful grind in GW2…. As if grinding to try to get a Legendary is not enough , or trying to Miraculously unlock traits in WvW and Map Completion when your server is ALWAYS being dominated by the others….

All we really want is actual EndGame content.

What is the point of getting the fully ascended gear?
For Pve Players, besides looking beautiful and the feeling that you did it, it serves no purpose.

You will do just fine without ascended gear in the current state. maybe try harder in fracs.

In WoW for example you had to get the best gear because if you didn’t, then you couldn’t do the end game raids…
Im not saying WoW is better, It just gives you this sense of progression while right now Gw2 simply don’t.

lol just keep leveling , come back to traits when you are 80. Any party wont take you for dung . go for hearths and story, there is no need for traits.

… worst advice/input ever.

Yeah. Someone’s never leveled a mesmer/ele/engineer to 80 without traits. I’m so glad I didn’t get another character slot in this sale. I guess I’ll be checking back in six months to see how the trait feedback is coming along.

Sad that it seems to come to this for so many with the new trait fiacso

The idea of a temporary buff for instance owners is better than a total immunity however, as total immunity means some people will start an instance and afk halfway safe in the knowledge they can’t ever be kicked.

The buff can be renewed to 5 minutes every time they enter combat.

Why does this sound familar?

Oh yeah, WoW Kick protection, where trolls run into combat all the time to avoid being kicked …. Works so well for them too………… everyone hates it, ……… would it work in GW2 ??? or be a huge troll issue here too ?

Although I think there should be an inability to kick anyone at / just before / just after a Boss kill, to prevent people being kicked and replaced for someone else to get loot

. . . there’s stuff in there about them being major candidates before the game was finalized? And that means they were always meant to be in the game?

No, It means that it was at a time intended to be part of the release as opposed to something planned later that would be “nice”. I should not have said “they were well into making the Tengu, they were supposed to be there at launch” because that sounds like we know exactly what they did (other than what we see in the game). My point was that making an entire race with a starting zone & Personal Story is not a “nicety”, it’s a massive amount of content & a huge feature.

Your point is noted, but it still doesn’t matter since it’s content they decided not to pursue before it hit Beta. Which, for our purposes discussing the game, means they weren’t planning on it being in the game anymore when they were getting it (moderately) ready for release.

Also, “nicety” is such a subjective term. What one person’s “nicety” might be, could also be someone else’s “useless clutter”.

As I mentioned in my thread on the topic, it would be great to have the number of needed kick votes increased to 3, to minimize griefing resulting from this change. Personally I always started my own dungeon parties to avoid kick-happy couples. Now there’s nothing to kep me safe. 2 votes have always been a bad idea, anyway. Not even a majority.

I actually agree with you. I would have liked to increase the vote count a majority with this change, but unfortunately not all the pieces of code around party votes are set up in a way to make this a quick and easy change.

We were aware of the possible issues with the instance ownership change, but felt that holding back an improvement to the base experience on account of trolls was unfair to users that are playing nice.

Stealing instances using the LFG tool, or booting people for no reason (or to give your buddy the rewards for no work) at the end of a run are bannable offenses and should be reported.

Does that mean that you will be fixing the party chat vanishing so that IF this happens you actually have the names to be able to report them ??

I think polls wouldn’t have valuable results because of this:

Q: How important is SAB for you?
A: Very important —> tons of people
B: Neutral
C: I can’t stand it

Anet: Ok, you voted for SAB, our map-designers will now stop working on new maps and focus on SAB only. You’ll get world 3 in 3 months, no new maps in the near future.
Us: O______o noooooo

As long as we have no idea how ressources are managed and what needs to be sacrificed in order to make something else happen, polls would make little sense imho.

I LOL’d so hard at this, it SOO reminds Me of another place where the same question was asked and the answer was " Well…… you could have that, OR another Raid tier ! "

We *DO* want to know what's in development.

I dont get the silence when a major competitor (blizz) is doing everything they can to show gamers what they DO have in the pipe so to speak to keep customers, is it because anet actually have nothing in the pot to show ?

I have 3 theories on what the devs will do next:

1. Chris will give our 4+ month feedback to the devs and we get a new CDI to discuss how to improve it. Not just "change it back or Devs suck, but actual discussion.

2. We get a “improvement” for the Traits system that the devs haven’t told us about with the September Feature Patch.

3. We have no changes and just learn to deal with it

My bet is on the CDI myself. Chris has done a great job this weekend relaying A-Nets willingness to discuss things we feel need fixed. Hopefully his enthusiasm for what we as a community can provide will translate into a meaningful discussion on this topic and others.

4. Anet have noticed than another big MMO released the date for their new expac this week, an MMO that may draw people back from GW2 due to people being puppied off at Anet for zero communication ( not me as I hate wow, blizz really screwed the kitty with dead servers) , and decided to actually say something to attempt to retain people’s hope and dreams for GW2 and keep people here.
