Agreed. The excessive levels of CC in this game is frustrating at times. A little here and there is okay, but when I’m getting knocked down every 2 seconds because I have run out of dodges, or I have 15 seconds of immobilize and my condi-removal is still recharging, it gets to be very frustrating feeling so helpless when exploring maps.
If I really had any desire to experience bondage, I would prefer to seek that elsewhere.
+1
While the minions appropriately radiate an aura of creepy undead-ness, I would also enjoy the option to change their appearance. I really liked the minions in GW1, but I found the ones in GW2 to be less appealing for my tastes (and that is part of the reason why I rarely use them on my necros).
Please don’t put the skins on the gem store.
If this ever becomes a thing, 100% guaranteed that it will be sold in the Gemstore.
Why do we always have to have a white person with us in the story? We finally get rid of Logan and now we get Kasmeer. Before Kasmeer it was Countess Anise.
No mater what happens in the story, there is always a white person with you.
Not trying to come off racist but that is exactly what ANet is doing forcing us to always have this white NPC with you.
How stupid does this sound to you?
I see a lot of suggestion for “wings this” and “wings that”, but what about actual gliders?
Like I get it, everyone in this game is super obsessed about having wings and obnoxiously huge back-pieces that make their characters look like demonic angels or X-Men, but the number of wings and special-FX “gliders” outnumber the choices that we have for gliders that actually look like real gliders. Can we please have more choices that cater to the players that have zero interest in wings?
I guess what I mean to say is I’d like to see more “normal-looking” gliders along the lines of the Crystal Arbiter or Phoenix Kite, for example. But unique in design and not just a re-skin, of course…
You guys have so much to work with in this game, and yet we keep getting gliders that are out of place with the environment of Tyria. Angel wings? Bubble pods? Re-color after re-color of the exact same feather design?
How about something that actually shouts Guild Wars 2?!?!
Perhaps you could make a glider that looks similar to the windmills around Kryta? Vastly more lore appropriate than rainbow wings, that’s for sure.
Or how about a nod to the old Lion’s Arch and have a pirate-themed glider made out of sails and wooden ship parts? The Captain’s Council would approve of that!
Or get this, a glider that emulates the style of Rata Sum? It makes sense that the Asura would have engineers capable of making sleek-looking metallic gliders.
Or even a glider that follows the design of a Pact airship? It would make sense that all the crashed ships throughout the jungle are salvageable for scrap, so why not make a glider out of them?
Please, I’d like to see some variety in gliders and not another silly-looking pair of wings that has nothing to do with this game. Just look around… you have an amazing setting and lore to work with, and you’re letting it go to waste.
No, I didn’t. Flashy items like that are not really my cup of tea. I’d rather spend my money on some well-designed glider skins or outfits, instead of special effects or pseudo-mounts. But even then, there haven’t been many outfits or glider skins that have come out recently that appeal to me either…
They often rotate items in and out of the gemstore. Hold onto your gems, it’ll come back eventually.
inb4 entitled pvp players whine about prestige
I’m curious about this. I legit want to know why does it matter to you so much?
I was AFK farming with my reaper.
I was AFK farming
AFK farming
You weren’t actually putting any effort into playing the game. The way I see it, being suspended is no different than being AFK, because you aren’t playing the game either way.
In what way is it practical to use bear traps to help get rid of the local rat problem?
Personal opinion. I see nothing wrong with them. It’s not like they are in your face. Next thing you know you’ll want mastery points hidden or titles. Really if you don’t like them disable name plates, if you must have them on, live with it. I wish I could turn of the stupidity that people say in map chat, but sadly I need to know when events are up and if people are needed in different lains ect.
While I acknowledge that you are offering a valid solution, it still doesn’t answer my question of why they are necessary outside of PvP. Also, mastery rank is already hidden unless you mouse over the character, whereas PvP rank is always visible.
Yes, I can turn off nameplates, but that is not the point I am getting at. I use nameplates to coordinate myself in certain situations, and having them turned off can affect how well I play in those situations. The extra clutter is not appropriate, and quite frankly, it does annoy me.
I’m not asking that the icons be totally abolished. I’m merely asking politely to have the option to hide them for myself. I honestly don’t see the problem in making a suggestion…
Give me a GOOD reason WHY they are necessary outside of PvP.
I just said, I display nameplates to see where players are for personal reasons related to my own game play…
…it helps me keep track of others, especially during PvE and WvW.
Sometimes in WvW, it is beneficial to me to have nameplates displayed so I can tell the difference between friend and foe.
I’m sure this has been mentioned several times before, but quickly skimming through the forums I couldn’t find a recent topic about this.
Why are PvP League icons permanently visible outside of PvP?
I usually have player names displayed at all times, because it helps me keep track of others, especially during PvE and WvW. While these icons are only somewhat distracting, they bother me because they are pretty much pointless outside of that realm. They have no place in PvE and WvW, and it makes zero sense that these icons are attached to a player’s name and cannot be hidden.
May I suggest either:
- Give us the option to hide them, but still be able to see names.
- Get rid of PvP League icons outside of PvP maps.
- Move the icons to a location that is only visible when the character is selected, similar to how map complete and mastery rank are displayed.
Thanks for the replies! I think that’s all I really needed to hear before considering this.
End of thread.
On the odd occasion I like to live-stream my game play of Guild Wars 2. At the moment, I mostly focus on PvE/HoT type content. I recently jumped back into WvW after a long hiatus, and a thought occurred to me that maybe I could broadcast some of the content of the Battlegrounds and the Borderlands.
However… I was wondering what the general consensus of live-streaming WvW was like from the community. Is it acceptable to live-stream WvW as long as there is a delay? Or is it generally frowned upon due to risk of enemy players watching? If I were to begin streaming, what sort of things should I watch out for?
I notice that some other players do stream WvW content, but I’m looking for a few brief opinions on the matter before I decide. Thank you for any feedback.
In light of more buggy outfits coming out, I figure I would re-awaken this thread again… again…
I am still having problems with the new outfits being too shiny and reflecting excessive amounts of light back at me. Still no solutions/fixes anywhere. If there were something I could adjust/download/whatever to stop my characters from appearing shiny, I’d do it, trust me.
Turning my shaders off, or even my graphics to the lowest-of-the-lowest settings does nothing to solve this problem. When I reduce settings, my older outfits become dull and do not reflect light, but the newer ones, such as Lyssa Regalia are still shiny. So, why is it only the new outfits, I ask? This seems inconsistent and (to me) unintended…
Oh well, I haven’t bought an outfit since HoT, I’m stopping my collection there. I’m not spending my gems on buggy items that ignore the basic graphics settings of the game. I regret buying some of these stupid outfits because I cannot use them. I cannot even dye them because it just looks white and shiny all the kittening time!
I’m not going to bother posting more screenshots, it’s pointless and ANet doesn’t seem to have an answer for anything. However, since my last bump more and more buggy outfits have been released, and are displaying this unavoidable issue so I figure I’d update my dusty thread for the sake of documenting this problem.
Here, more buggy outfits:
- Lunatic Guard (I forgot to mention this one before)
- Crystal Savant
- Ironclad (I guess it works for this one, since it’s metal, but still seems a bit excessive when it comes to glare, and looks undyeable).
- Gwen’s Attire
TL;DR
New outfits are still shiny and always look white. Old outfits, not shiny at all and no problems. Why the inconsistency? Why do these new outfits bug out and ignore the graphics settings? Anyone been able to fix this problem for themselves?
I have the same problem with this outfit as well…
The problem, I believe, is due to the “shader” settings in the graphic options. Normally if set to high, objects/characters reflect more light. When set to low, everything has a more natural appearance. I always set my shaders to low to avoid everything showing up on my screen as if it were coated in a thick layer of polish. However, the newer outfits seem to ignore these shader settings…
Over a month ago, I made a similar thread in the bugs forum about the excessive shininess on outfits but it has yet to receive a response or be dealt with.
I’m not sure how many other people are having this problem, and I doubt this is intentional since the older outfits don’t have that annoying polished look. For me, it makes the outfits very unappealing and I won’t buy them anymore until this is fixed.
I guess on that note, as others have mentioned, the option to dye the blue part would be welcome as well… I’m not a big fan of the lack of dye-ability on certain gemstore items, such at other gliders and outfits. As nice as it would be to be able to change the color of the blue parts, I highly doubt they’d add that option at this point… (but if they did, they would be my heroes!)
Regardless, aside from the red outlines, I still really like the Phoenix Glider. I hope for better customization in future designs.
I bought the new Phoenix Glider skin today, and might I say I really love the design. I’m a big fan of anything that is remotely Canthan-themed, so it was a must-have for me.
However, one little thing bothers me about the dye channels. I noticed that certain parts of the glider have a rather unusual red glow to it, more specifically around the pattern (dye slot #2), and the blue stitching along the ailerons/flaps of the wings. Aside from always dyeing it red shades, this weird red outline stands out for me.
I’m not sure if this is a graphics bug or something wrong with my settings, but it’s just a little thing I wanted to point out in the event it was not part of the intended design.
If it is possible to fix, it would really make my day.
(Edit note: Added a screenshot with higher saturation to better emphasize the red outlines.)
(edited by Kross.6428)
It’s been quite a while since I posted about this bug… and as an update, this problem continues to occur on the newer outfits. Even with my shader settings turned off, these outfits display an unpleasant level of glare when equipped, and additionally ruins the dye scheme that I apply to it by making all the colors much brighter and whiter than they should be.
The older outfits do not do this and I have no problems whatsoever when using those, so why are the newer ones ignoring my graphic settings?
Please fix this. I have no desire to purchase your buggy cash shop items out of fear that I will be attacked by a gang of skritt.
(edited by Kross.6428)
Titles were most likely removed in WvW maps to reduce visual clutter. Especially when it comes to facing enemies or zergs, that sort of information is unnecessary.
If Zhaitan can attack the Mother Tree in the Grove, it can attack anywhere!
Dungeons and fractals would have five attempts per week on a free mode (they’d be counted separately so five dungeons and five fractals not three dungeons, two fractals, and you’re done for the week)
I can’t believe you actually took my stupid suggestion and ran with it. I was being sarcastic…
We must understand that Anet is a business and to stay alive needs to make money.
Yes, it’s a business, we get that. Hence, we have the option of supporting the game via gemstore purchases if we so choose for bonus material. What you’re suggesting is still pay-to-win, and prohibits access to the core game for a paywall fee. This is still and always will be a terrible idea. Sorry, but this is never going to happen, so I suggest you stop before you embarrass yourself any further.
1/10 made me reply
(I seriously hope you’re joking.)
No. Just no. 100% no. Kitten like this would ruin the game for many, and benefit the few.
Also, I have to address this insane suggestion…
Gold membership:
-Access to WvW for 15 times per month. To avoid abuse you’d get kicked from WvW after three hours to ensure each time you log in doesn’t count as just WvW’ing just once.Platinum membership:
-May WvW 25 times per month.Diamond membership:
-May enter WvW anytime they want.
What kind of drugs are you taking that would compel you to suggest placing limited access to a huge part of the game that is already free to begin with?! Why stop there?! We should do the same for dungeons, fractals, way-pointing, and even logging-in!
It would honestly make my Wintersday if this happened.
Character slots are pretty much the only item I’d really considering shelling out some money for... if I can get a good deal.
* hint hint *
(edited by Kross.6428)
What are you guys talking about?! There is so much content to explore this Wintersday!
You can:
- Grind mini-games day-in-day-out for the materials for a cool shoulder piece!
- Alternatively, you can whip out the credit card to buy the gold from the gemstore like what most people have admitted to doing! Either way, you’ll probably get hospitalized from alcohol poisoning in the process!
- Go to the gemstore and buy a mini which then can be used unlock a wool glider!
- Oh, and don’t forget, you can go to the gemstore and buy a winter-themed outfit, so y’know, you look like you’re celebrating something!
See? Plenty to do!
Who needs cool events like Dragon Bash, SAB, Festival of the Four Winds, or Queen’s Gauntlet when you can have so much fun this Wintersday?!?!
yay
(On a less cynical note, I do enjoy the mini-games. In moderation. When they’re not buggy.)
There needs to be some way to make the skin exclusive so that only the truly dedicated obtain it.
So you assumed it was cheap?
That amount of investment in gold and/or grinding the presents is dedication.
Exclusivity? Dedication? Pfft, what a load of bull. You do realize that the root word of “exclusive” is “exclusion”, right? Exclusion is not a good thing.
I don’t know what you do with your life, but you have to realize that many people work full-time jobs or have other responsibilities. I don’t have time to sit around and grind mini-games for hours on end like you do. Not everyone has an abundance of free time on their hands. There is something called “real life”, look it up some time.
And before you say anything about buying it, I’m not too keen on whipping out my credit card to support ArenaNexon’s gems-to-gold obsession for a single skin. This company has already charged me enough money for an expansion that provided very little in new armor/weapons skins, and has devoted more time/resources updating the cash shop.
It is very disappointing that they added some sort of free content, and then locked it behind yet another abhorrent grind…
Gaile is simply saying you can report abusive behavior, and ruining other people’s fun is abusive.
But where do we draw the line then? That’s the problem with this supposed policy. It cannot be enforced at this moment because there are no rules against it. Sure, people can quote the User Agreement, but what sort of “laws” are going to be written down? Gaile has responded, so this issue is now something that ANet has to spend time and resources looking into.
But here’s the thing that bothers me so much… why is this issue getting more attention than worse problems in the game?
In Orr, players are constantly begging for temple events to fail (because it is required for certain achievements), yet other players will complete the event despite their pleas in map chat. Their progress has just been barred by another player, yet this is not a report-able offense. Perhaps just poor game design… Regardless, is this abusive? Is this ban-able? Someone just had their fun ruined, so why not?
When running dungeons, players will discriminate, ridicule and kick others for not having the preferred gear. Or in even worse cases, people leading the dungeons have been kicked by other members of their group at the very end, so that their friends could finish the dungeon with them and reap the rewards. From my observations, players guilty of the latter issue do not get banned, despite the blatant grief it causes towards others. Is this abusive? Is this ban-able? Someone just had their fun ruined, so why not?
During the horrendous WvW Golem Rush event, players were purposely exploiting the bugs to one-shot-kill other players. This was clearly an exploit of the game, and legitimate players had to suffer the consequences. They were either forced to deal with it, or take a break until the event was over. Nothing was done on the devs side to solve this issue. It was swept under the rug after the event concluded. Was this abusive? Was this ban-able? Someone just had their fun ruined, so why not?
This game promotes so much “fun ruining” by design and yet these are not ban-able offenses despite the numerous complaints over the years. The inaction and silence of the devs seems to suggest that this sort of behavior is acceptable. Why is example one not considered griefing? Why does example two go unpunished despite how common it is? Why did example three not get any attention from the devs, despite causing problems for a sizable portion of the playerbase?
So again, my question is: Why does this topic get special snowflake status when there are far worse issues for the devs to be looking into within their very own game?
(Note: This isn’t an attack towards you Pandaman. Merely what you said got me thinking about how we define the boundaries between other people’s fun, and why spoiling movies is getting more attention from the devs than other rampant in-game problems that are a result of their own design.)
I understand why this sort of thing is wrong, and I think it’s terrible that some people are getting enjoyment out of purposely spoiling movies that others haven’t seen. However, I don’t see why this particular subject is receiving special treatment.
Over the years, I’ve observed far worse behavior go unpunished… including verbal abuse, griefing, bug exploitation, spamming, et cetera. The players that I reported never got banned. Furthermore, there isn’t even an option for specifically reporting “hacking” or “exploit abuse” under the report menu despite how important those issues are. Don’t tell me that “movie spoilers” is going to be added to the list…
nope.
this is an exclusive set for the players who have played earlier and stuck around.
keep it exclusive.
There should be nothing exclusive about it (and the several other sets that met a similar fate). Why do people obsess over prestige? No one cares that you have something that others cannot get. Saying stuff like this makes you come across as an entitled kitten.
Just for context, I’m a veteran back from when Prophecies first came out and I played GW2 since head-start; thus I have lots of “exclusive” items that other people cannot have. This does not make me feel better as a player, and by no means give me superiority over anyone. I couldn’t care less what newer players have access to… this game is meant to be enjoyed by everyone. Who are you to say what other people can and cannot have? Just for the sake of prestige? Get over yourself. Seriously.
Oh, and Happy Wintersday.
I usually play the game with my “Shaders” settings set to low, because on the higher settings, it makes my characters appear very shiny, as if their entire body was covered in polish. It makes the game a little easier on the eyes by reducing glare.
I noticed that some of the newer outfits ignore my graphics settings regardless of whether it is set to high or low. Essentially, they always appear as if my shader settings are stuck on high and and even on low makes the armor appear much more shiny compared to everything else. I am not sure if this is intended… seeing as the glare on the older outfits changes when I adjust my settings, I figure the newer ones should too.
I’m not sure if anyone else is having this problem, or if anyone else has even noticed…
Screenshot was taken with “Shaders” set to lowest possible setting.
My necromancer Feiyan, and my elementalist Ziokku.
The dungeon staff was poached by the Black Lion Trading Company, who apparently needed a dedicated vendor for each skin type that you’ll never purchase.
I never noticed this before… just goes to show where ArenaNexon’s priorities are.
Guild Wars 2
(brought to you by ArenaNexon)
Is it really a bug? Or a poorly designed anti-spam function?
Whenever I try to taxi onto a map via the LFG tool and I am having a hard time finding a map that isn’t full, I run into this brick wall rather quickly, usually after joining 2-3 groups within a period of 5 minutes. I am then forced to restart the game before trying again because this stupid thing never expires. I could even wait 10+ minutes and it won’t go away. Quite literally the only way to get rid of it is to quit the game, which is inconvenient and an unnecessary waste of time.
Favorite map: Labyrinthine Cliffs
Home of the Bazaar of the Four Winds! I loved the vibrant colors, Canthan-esque architecture, and the large wooden airship. It was a map full of energy; NPC merchants selling their wares, and adventurers conjuring strange new magic around every corner! It was a lot of fun harnessing the Three Aspects to explore the map. I can only imagine how awesome it would be if we could use our gliders there!
(Too bad the map is now scrapped, and won’t likely ever be coming back… RIP)
Least favorite: Dry Top
On the other hand, despite being a (poor) replacement for Labyrinthine Cliffs, I absolutely hate Dry Top with a burning passion. I personally find it difficult to navigate, and I often get lost or take a wrong turn somewhere. The sandstorms are annoying as hell, and makes navigation even more frustrating for me. Using the Three Aspects is not one bit fun on this map. Plus it is a sad reminder of the terrible fate that befell the Zephyrites…
(edited by Kross.6428)
I understand its purpose, in general, but how exactly is Diminishing Returns supposed to function? Was something recently changed to affect how early/often it triggers?
I just came back from a 2 week hiatus, so I decided to play around in the Silverwastes to work on my Tyrian Masteries. However, not even more than 15 minutes in, the amount of exp I was receiving from events took a sudden nose dive. I went from 18k in one event to 14k in the next. Then soon after it dropped to 12k, 10k, 8k, and so on…
I played in the Silverwastes for a couple days back when HoT first came out, and I would usually net a consistent 18k exp per successful event. So why did this happen this time around? Why was this system penalizing me for “farming” when I had barely touched the map today (or even in the past month)?
So what I want to know is…
Why does the programming in the game punish players for playing the game, and what messed up algorithm decides when it is an appropriate time to trigger this inconvenient penalty?
Go to your “Outfits” menu and from there you can either:
- Uncheck the check-mark on the top-left of the preview window.
- Or, you can right click the icon and select “unequip”.
If you’re asking about the Marauder armor skins, then unfortunately you’re out of luck because it was one of the many armor sets that was removed from the game during the April 2014 update.
You can get some of the pieces from completing the later chapters in the Personal Story (core) with any medium-class character.
(edited by Kross.6428)
A bunch of new armor collections were recently released with the expansion. I suggest working on unlocking those if you happen to have it. You might just have some fun in the process!
Can I ask a question about this, how do you learn what you need to do to unlock them?
I see several in the Outfits tab which I like, they’re all locked with zero indication of how to unlock them.
Where can I find that out?
Because OP was whining about the lack of armor sets with separated pieces, I was merely pointing out to him/her that there was new armor just released with the expansion. I wasn’t referring to outfits in that comment.
With the exception of 2 outfits, they can only be obtained by spending gems in the gemstore. Many are seasonal, so you can only buy them when ANet puts them back on the market.
The “Hexed Outfit” is available right now during the Halloween event. You can seek out a vendor in Lion’s Arch if you’re interested. You’ll need to collect pieces of candy corn for it, and buy it before Halloween is over.
The “Royal Guard Outfit” was given via mail to players that had old accounts. I forget the cut-off date. If you don’t have it, then you created your account after the giveaway.
If you don’t like the outfits, you don’t have to purchase them. Outfits were designed to allow players to dress-up without having to worry about armor weight and clipping issues. There are plenty of non-gemstore armor sets with separate pieces in the game.
A bunch of new armor collections were recently released with the expansion. I suggest working on unlocking those if you happen to have it. You might just have some fun in the process!
I was exploring Wayfarer Foothills and I encountered excessively strong glare around the Shaman’s Rookery jumping puzzle. Also, it was night time on the map so I doubt it is actually supposed to be bright like this.
I played with my settings, but it didn’t seem to make much of a difference. Perhaps there is something bugged here? Pictures attached.
(Also, possibly another bug, the Hero Challenge north of this area, Burrisson the Blue died instead of regenerating his HP when I completed the challenge. He re-spawned next to his corpse, but I found this behavior to be very unusual.)
Has this happened to you? Is there anything we can do about it?
Yes, this has happened to me. Many times.
And no, there is nothing we can do. You can report abusive language, but that’s about it.
I don’t get it….
What makes you so important that everyone else needs to stop doing what they’re doing to cater for your needs?
It’s a two-sided issue here… and while I don’t think OP owns the ambient creatures, neither do the farmers. Not even Melandru owns them!
However, if you’ve ever had to deal with maize-balm farmers before, then you will quickly realize that most of them are a self-entitled bunch and are very quick to get angry when you mess up their oh-so precious gold farm (regardless of who was there first). I’ve had nothing but unpleasant experiences with these farmers; even when I tried to handle the situation politely, they’d just shout angrily ’til I moved somewhere else.
So if anything, I’ve been forced to cater to maize-balm farmers more often than I should.
Threads about this topic are posted here very often…
As you already stated, it would dramatically change the personal story… and in doing that, resetting/changing the story would lead to many potential coding issues and headaches for them (and maybe you) to deal with.
If you want to play a different race, your only option is to make a new character.
Choose carefully.
But what I’m wondering is why there seems to be hate for the idea of Anet trying to please a segment of their player base?
The only segment that ANet really cares about, is the segment that whips out their credit cards on a regular basis.
Would a one-time event bring that segment out? Doubt it.
No profit? No point.
It’s good that they stop the key farming. I saw a clip on youtube that someone farmed 1000 blacklion keys, that’s just crazy lol
“Good”? In what way? Some players farm dungeons. Some farm Silverwastes. And others farm Black Lion Keys. Either way, these players are working hard to earn their money by grinding these sources. If they find it enjoyable, who are you to call them “crazy” for playing the game the way they want to?
If ANet were to remove your preferred method of acquiring loot, how would you feel? Not so “good” I would imagine, eh?
Now let’s see what the prices of the black lion skins will be. If you thought a starting price of 100 gold was high……
Perhaps now is a good time to invest.
Why the need to take it into PvP into the open world if you don’t want to do open world content?
I don’t mind the open world or its content, but i dont understand the phasing behind the heart of the mists and why we can’t duel in the open world.
Because not everyone likes dueling in the open world and the community that typically brings along.
And the skill sets and gear for PvP and PvE/WvW are completely different. PvP being separate allows for ANet to keep PvP balanced and to where it comes down to the differences in skill levels, not who is richer or who has played longer.
All that information is completely irrelevant to what i was asking. WHY DON’T WE HAVE NON INSTANCED DUELS YET?
Actually, what Seera said is not all that irrelevant, so I suggest you hakuna-your-tatas.
By separating PvE from PvP, the devs can create two separate combat/build systems that do not interfere with one another. If you have open world dueling in the PvE maps, then there no longer will be the necessary tweaks and adjustments present in PvP maps that keep combat balance among the classes. (Which is why I think dueling in WvW maps totally sucks.)
Also, as Seera mentioned, not everyone is a fan of dueling and the behavior of the people that partake in it. That’s another reason why it is beneficial that PvE and PvP be kept separate.
However, if you are requesting that dueling become available only in the Heart of the Mists, then that is something I can agree with. It keeps the PvP, in PvP.

One day in the WvW borderlands, I was playing Guardian and the group I was with ended up getting cornered into one of the northern towers along the cliff. We defended it against the enemy attack, but eventually the enemy zerg broke through the gate and charged in. We were all stacked on one of the platforms, and the first attack to hit us was a “Gust” from an enemy elementalist. It was a matter of bad timing. I had just activated my greatsword leap attack, and the gust of wind hit me in mid-air, sending me over the wall and off the cliff.

The sound that strikes fear into the hearts of many.
