Doesn’t Heart of Thorns have some sort of GvG?
They definitely need at least a cutscene before the expansion comes out.
Physics and performance problems are the reasons.
What kind of build would use power, precision, condition?
Personally, I’d like to see gear that isn’t just major, minor, minor. Gear that actually has interesting effects like a chance to daze when struck or something. Just something to make me care about my gear beyond asthetics.
I really hope we get more SAB. Even though season 2 got a rough start, SAB is one of my favorite parts of the game.
Dodging is great. The issue is bosses that use one big attack with a huge windup.
I thought it was funny. Especially the noise effects.
The original SAB was an april fools joke. I’m keeping my fingers crossed.
This is a much needed change. No idea why idea even messed it up in the first place.
Isn’t there a place on the wiki for agregating this kind of data? If so, you should add your results.
It would be useful for playing WvW, but other than that GW2 doesn’t really have servers anymore.
I’m pretty sure ANet has said in the past that macros are ok as long as they only perform 1 action per press. So you should be fine with binding one mouse click to one action.
It’s about the journey, not the destination. It might suck now, but just keep playing and you’ll forget about it.
ANet seems to often ban in waves. Might have been a while since the last ban wave.
If you want some masks you can look at the mesmer starting items. You can transmute them onto other classes. However, they can’t be worn with another head item.
Sounds like a useful idea.
I have to second you on SAB, but maybe that’s just because I want more SAB…
Even if players did put on this armor on purpose. It’s just a skin… Seems harsh to ban them.
30 days go by pretty quick. Just get some exotic karma armor for now, and be patient.
You can try taking this survey
It will predict a class and race that you’ll like, based on responses collected from veteren players. I think it’s pretty accurate.
There’s a lot of raptors just inside of Bloodtide Coast from lions arch.
Probably to encourage crafting.
ANet rarely gives dates. We won’t know until it’s out.
The ingredients are probably more expensive.
From all the videos so far, it looks like the graphics requirement will be about the same.
I might actually be willing to make a human male if this were implemented.
This is pretty much how most games do it. ANet made a conscious decision to tie changing your appearance to gems, and it’s one of their biggest money makers. While it could be nice, I doubt it will happen.
I think crafting is a way for ANet to have more control over your item acquisition, instead of just RNG or using gold.
Try strucured PvP, and if you want to get better, the best thing you can do is practice.
Who would get the legendary? That’s the main issue I see. It might be cool if it didn’t belong to any one member, but could be loaned to members or something.
It took me two beta trials to know ESO’s fate. It’s also the first game, I did not buy after I tried the beta when the game went live. Ever.
The fate was going the same business model as GW2.
It’s also changed in massive ways.
The last patch log was 80 pages long.
Do you still need a subscription to play? That’s a deal breaker for myself, and many others. Even if the game improved, most won’t be willing to renew a subscription just to find out.
You mean the book that you buy to unlock the second and third tier of traits?
OooOOo, that is a nice change. I had no idea. ANet has been doing some great quality of life changes lately.
I wonder what effect they would implement for GW2?
It looks like the survey has enough responses now. It can now predict your class and race.
These are my results:

It was spot on for me.
Got Howl off a random risen in Orr.
I would love some actual solo / duo dungeons. However, I doubt ANet will make the suggested changes to the existing dungeons, since they seem to already be working on fixing them so they’re not as easy to cheese with dodging and stacking.
A lot of people complained in the past about a lack of area / monster specific equipment. Stat sets unique to an area (dry top) is one way ANet solved this. Those players probably wouldn’t like losing some of those unique rewards.
It really is nice to see the meta getting shaken up a bit. Keeps things from getting stale.
Macros make instruments easier to play, which makes more people want to buy them. I doubt ANet will stop the macros.
I turned my graphic settings up recently. Dropped me to 30fps, but the visuals are worth it.
GW2 has some of the best aesthetics I’ve experienced in an MMO. That it can be so pleasing to the eye and still run great on my machine puts it a light year away from WildStar (7-12fps for uninspired cartoons?) or even FF14 (gorgeous, but devours my GPU).It’s crazy how badly optimized most mmo’s are right now. I mean, seriously, they tend to look like they are ten, fifteen years old compared to AAA single players and shooters, but they run like garbage.
Looking bad doesn’t necessarily mean poorly optimized. It it looks bad, and lags, then it’s poorly optimized.
Would love to have a world boss in Plains of Ashford (and honestly the Charr are the only ones left out). But probably not going to happen anytime soon or at all. ANet has clearly stated that they prefer to focus on new content instead of on old content.
They could probably turn that ghost statue fight into a world boss.
My fallen warrior, Zoa Abysswalker, and his companion, the cat of darkness.
Just a suggestion…
But if you have a very dark character, maybe taking pictures in an equally dark environment is not the best idea if you’re trying to show other people your armor setup?
Just saying….shrug looks fine to me
Thematically, it looks nice, but it’s hard to make out any details.
I think I remember the devs mentioning that they would do a bundle deal after the season finished.
The blocks definitely feel lackluster overall. Between their slow activation, and the mediocre second activation (like the line interrupt on sword). They mostly need to feel more responsive and reliable.
Unless you’re using Warden’s Feedback, the focus offhand won’t do you much good for survivability. Try a torch for the extra stealth (with a relatively low cooldown).
I don’t see why Signet of Inspiration wouldn’t work for stability, but I haven’t tested it. It would be kind of odd if it worked differently for one boon.
I found this website called Clever Surveys that makes predictions with surveys. There’s a survey for Guild Wars 2, but it looks like it needs more responses before it can make predictions.

I tried out the WoW survey (which already has enough responses), and it’s actually pretty accurate. It would be cool if the Guild Wars 2 one worked.
