How about adding them to WvW Guild Missions ? 10 for easy 20 for medium 30 for hard or something like that
Edit make that 10 times or you wont last a week at all just saw how much flax fiber you need for those WvW upgrades lol just crazy

ah yeah that happened to me too was mid gold suddenly loosing about 18 of 20 games ending in mid silver
no idea why the games were arround 300 mostly
but next day total turn around about 12 wins in a row back in lower gold lol
many games pretty close but some really easy wins in between
losses were in prime time
wins were at saturday morning
but queue times were about the same
one dc after an other every few minutes whole map effected :-/

At the moment you can only see your Guildmembers on the map
but I would like to be able to see every player on the map
its ok if the positions are not updated as fast as in party but if they are at least as fast as position updates of guild mates that would be really helpful to find others to join even without a commander on the map or to reduce unnessacry running to camps which are already being flip from someone but you could not see it as white swords on camps are shown after 30 seconds
they killed social in towns when they introduced megaservers so now everytime you go to a town you see different people cause it is another instance no idea why they did not make it like in gw1 where you could select on which map instance you wanted to be
… this is so stupid nobody cares about 1 or 2 more crafter at home map there is no queue at 90% of the day anyway
than add all crafting stations for free into our guildhall so we still can at least stay at a farming spot
having to port to lions arch for crafting porting back and moving all the way back to the farming spot is just a pain in the kitten

I dont think it is a good idea to balance the game around a handfull of pro players
as they are the minority of players and onyl cause top players can play curtain builds in fullbersi does not make such builds good when the majority of the casual players dies instantly with such builds you realy need to avoid l2p builds when you want a game to succeed and attract many players only if it is easy enough to understand und play you can ascertain that
it would be much better to fix stuff like how curtain skills scale with more power better as other skills and to know how much you have to look it up in the wiki as the tooltips are not providing the info
At the moment we have two problems stupid over the top burst dmg and on the other side too strong bunker builds
burst dmg can be reduced class wide via changeing how +x % dmg from different ressouces like sigils/traits works by changing this to only the maximum number so it would top out at +20%? through certain traits in stead of stacking much higher
weapons have a lower and a higher dmg number so only using the lower dmg number for crits would instantly help too
for bunker builds it should help to give the skills used to avoid dmg
either a longer cast time so it could be cc´d or shorter duration
and for skills that help to sustain dmg like protection to lower its value of effectivness
Oh and of course it would realy be nice to have an ingame report option for OP builds like goldsellers so Anet gets more pointers to logs from fights where the players feel something was not right be it 12k+ one shot skills or 8×2k dmg in few seconds from many skills or when you are using skills with not blockable on tooltip getting blocked …
too bad we dont have a replay function like in gw1 as that would help to understand what happened

i crit around 7k max with vault vs other glass people. not sure how you are getting hits for 13k. also why is there no evades in your combat log, is this a joke lol?
unfortunately it was not possible to evade it cause of instant downstate
and no that was not in WvW it was in sPvP running middle after taking Tranquility
like I wrote I am running marauder amulet so no extra toughness sure
maybe the thief had might stacks but still the dmg is unreal no idea what anet is thinking
but to get back on topic
there still should be the old roles for thief
fast decapping of empty points
and turning the tide via dealing high burst dmg in group fights

I think there is something wrong ingame not api related
on my f2p account I get this odd /age output
I have only one char on that accout
actually it is unclear which upgrades will still exists after launch of HoT
no idea what will hapen with banners and guild catapults or WvW Buffs you could activate to boost a claimed objective
what about all the upgrades that you need to start missions at the moment
are they lost or do they transfer over into the new stuff
Ok so Bounty Training for example is something that will not be useable anymore when HoT starts ?
Sorry if this was mentioned somewhere but I could not find it and in the last livestreams all was mentioned that it would take about 9 month to build all stuff in the new guildhall
So my question is what from the old guild system wil transfer into the new guildhall
do we really loose all our upgrades like guild bank, guild missions and wvw upgrades ?
what has to be spent/used bevor HoT so it is not lost due to the conversion to guildhalls
how about this thing from closed beta where you could rate how good content was
so at end of pvp match we rate from 1 to 5 for how we felt the matchup was and the individual players of course only for anet internal usage as addition to their automatic mmr ?

Is there a way to activate something in the client so it would display more info ?
I think there is something like map load times but that is not really that helpfull
it would be much easier to report something via youtube video with on screen showing details of ping fps and packetloss or what ever you need instead of just reporting how it “feels”
would it be possible to introduce something like a global skill cooldown of 0.5 seconds so you cant activate more than one skill at once ? I think that would help with client side skillspamming “killing” the servers in big fights
oh and a little bit of topic for the fps problems please give us an option to turn of backpacks on all players as only reducing modelquality and modelcount often is not enough in WvW

sorry but thief is already killing everyone in under 2 seconds from stealth when will we see a limit of crit dmg e.g. no crit should hit for more than 4k and no autoattack for more than 1k so we can actually fight and not be at half health in just under 1 second from start of fight ? and no I am not talking about cases where you are glass canon then its only one second I am talking about having 3k toughness and still getting hit by 8k crits … and please add an ingame report option to report overpowered highdmg builds

and if used in the twitch stream it would make the whole recording of the stream playing without sound in those countries (not sure if the live stream would be affected by it too)

FSP Riverside Kodash matchup Enternal Battlegrounds unplayable at the moment massiv skilllags and rubberbanding and some fps drops when all 3 zergs meet
Skilllags are map wide even when zerg fight is kilometers away
even the npc dolyak caravans are lagging what is going on

P2W in terms of getting awesome skins, not so much for gearstats
but if I am not wrong, there already are sinister and nomad stat items (e.g. https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Forgotten_Band) you only can get from buying and playing living story 2 and who knows what new stats you will get only when you have bought HoT
sure it is not like in this other mmo where you have to upgrade your armor and weapons for money to be strong enough to actually play the dungeons on your level
and hopefully it will never be like that in gw2 but yeah that you have to actually pay for living story 2 to get some items you otherwise can not get is still there

interisting I think some other mmo´s have something like that
maybe the looking for group tool could be a basis for something like that
but the guild should only be listed when the leader or a player with invite permision is on so the guild boards doesnt get overloaded with guild advertisments from dead guilds

what anet is doing is just like the thing the isp´s are doing if you already are a customer you always pay the full price but if you are a new customer you get some kind of discount ;-p
A new Experience Booster is now available that grants 50% additional experience from all sources and game types, including WvW and PvP reward tracks , and gives a killstreak bonus on enemy NPCs.

I mean if that happens you surely dont sell gathered stuff to the npc
I think it would be much more appropiate to spawn a merchant while gathering and you just ran out of gathering tools

so many wasted hours and still not finished and no idea were i should look was all over the map already
change it into sw shovels so we can actually find it what about gamers who cant hear it is imposible to do this
normally packet drops dont disconnect your entire internet connection
here some suggestions you could try no idea if they will solve your problem
as mentioned before reinstall/update your network driver
disable ipv6 support
gw2 has a client parameter you could try some other ports 80 or 443 were mentioned in the forum
lower your desktops mtu size e.g.1452 instead of the default 1492 / 1500
Not sure if this is too offtopic but maybe you could also do something about how to deselect a target clicking an empty space on screen does not work all the time
or give us an option if we want to leap in the direction we are looking instead of at the target even though one is selected (like with engeneer rocketshoes utility not like the swordleaps of warrior and guardian)
oh and it would be nice to have an option for livebars above all players so you wont need to tab or mouse over enemies all the time to find a low live target

So…with this “bug” , thieves cannot restealth immediately after failing a backstab…and thieves players say the game is now unplayable…hmmmmmmmmmm
someone sounds like an embittered thief punching bag.
why nerf a profession no one except bad players complain about? if you seriously think stealth (a counter-intuitive mechanic to a point capture gamemode) is strong enough to the point where it’s worth nerfing, you aren’t playing at a level beyond hot-join.
you realize that the majority of players out there are not beyond hot-join so besides the SR bug? it all makes sense to keep thieves from staying in permanent stealth
in spvp no one should miss permanent stealth and in wvw it sure helps alot against trolling thieves
but as the dungeon skippers are also complaining https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/gw2/Thief-Nerf-and-Cad-s-Manor this maybe reverted anyway as that should be the majority of players ;-p

either there are no players in your rank or you are so much better than newcomers who just got in the game
Maybe Anet should integrate into their mmr the apm (how fast you can useskills) of the player and I am not sure but there are gaming devices out there with them you can hit more than 3 skills at once which is not possible normally no idea if they can check which hardware is used
I would like to see an additional report function to report overpowered builds
it happens so often that you are killed in under 2 seconds and there is no proper way to report such bad game balance either because a player got lucky and gets ridiculus high crit hits or you are condition spammed to death with no ways to clean all that kitten because it is reapplied instantly
with direct ingame feedback the balancing team should be able to get more infos without extra testing as all the numbers should already be in the reports

Good changes. Now I believe you should only remove glass panels from A and C and put them beneath them, just like B.
well in that case just remove the glass panels all together because the panels under B are just relevant on those funny servers where you suicide together and dont play the map at all otherwise anyway
that skyhammer can be dodged now is a welcome change
so we can stay in fight on point much longer

Not sure how this would work out but my idea is to remove servers in wvw completely like in pve too
and introduce a queue system like the one from pvp so you sign up your roster for wvw and if you are missing one player you get add a random player who signs up on its own
and to keep the communities together the megaserver system kicks in so
that all from your guild and your old server start on the same side as long as there is enough place so the queue system should handle the population balancing
so in prime time you will mostlikely see only guilds from your old server and in offtimes you get put together with players from other servers
and the lfg tool could help too to get yourself a full roster for sign up

Only class I really feel bad for in WvW is Ranger… those dudes get no love at all.
Maybe that would actually be the solution bring every classes dmg output/sustain down on ranger level
that would instantly end all few second fights
coming from burst condi or power dmg classes

but without the option of finetunig via the gem
that results in 800 not needed extra health instead of 5% crit dmg in case of berserker gem

I would like to see a complete revamp of how to get the commander tag
Instead of buying a book for 100g make it a guild build feature
maybe in Politics Level 3 or so
so the guild leader can promote players from his guild with an option to be commander for the guild
in Politics Level 4 commanders can be seen now from public too if they want to and become mobile waypoints for easier rally (only on maps not in dungeons or so)
in Art of War Level 3 give the guild leader option to promote players from his guild as WvW Commander
in Art of War Level 4 WvW Commander can be seen from public now too if they want too and promote targets on the map where to rally
in Architecture Level 3 an upgrade for the commander icon to display the guild emblem
this would fix the issue of commander tag not being account bound
and would give some sort of quality check who gets the commander tag

ingame master volume and dialog are maxed
rest is little bit above half
before patch
dialog was just at above half too
