Did only “wooden” structures get a problem?
I tried to port to some usual spots and they didn’t work.
E.g. Temple of silent storm, temple point – can’t port (blink) on sides. Still can do it on altar point. Battle of Kyhlo – can’t port on midpoint sides from north, west, east but still can do it from south… Mb more broken maps/spots
Yeah, I just rerolled to non-porting classes. Very inconvinient w/o ports on that spots

Tbh with bunch of dh in ranked I find mesmers are one of the top priority focus classes. I feel like mesmers are more squishy now.
Hmm. Based on my experience good dh kills good meta condi mesm (and power). And afaik top mesmers (like Helseth) confirm that.
Seems he just checke old videos and haven’t noticed signet changes in fight.

Mb some ppl are using macros, buy the truth it is not necessary to use macros to press 4-5 skill in 1s. Mb it requires some practice, but pretty doable.
Then it is probably very seldom appearing bug. But I don’t think that dat bug has a decent impact on game play anyway (because of it’s rarity). I met this bug (multiproc) like 2-3 times in last half a year and not vs rev. If it still exists then it should be fixed to be in row with other multyhit skills imo.
Yea I tested today and only the one proc multiple times.
The odd thing was Confusion procs weren’t showing in damage log at all.
Idk… I didn’t get even single multyproc, though I tried >10 times in different ways.
Wiki is written by ppl. At least it should include word “sometimes”. Mb there are certain circumstances when it multy procs but I din’t find any.
I checked combat log. But to be sure I did check left health points too. With “Show target health percent” option on. My friend rev got same hp left on single use of any skill including UA. The only times when he got less HP % was the times when he acciddently made additional autoattcks in close range after UA or other skill.

Seems there is no bug (active part of confusion damage triggers only 1 time on UA). I did comment on my tests here:

Checked all “confusion + ua”, “non-dodge shatters” , “daredevil’s escapist absolution doesn’t work on illusion’s attacks” bugs with friend in spvp (each “bug” was checked multiple times):
1) Confusion + ua bug – doesn’t exist. Inflicted confusion (confusion was inflicted in several ways, UA with/without Enchanted daggers, etc ), then checked damage dealt after only 1 UA. Then did same thing, but with another skill (any other then UA). Damage dealt same: 1 UA = 1 any other skill (+usual conf ticks over time). HP % left equals in all tests (except Enchanted daggers was used ofc = more health left in this casa, still no multiple active confusion procs during UA)
2) Non “evadable” shatters bug – don’t exist. When illusion came close (on shatter distance), friend dodged (towards clone, if u dodge away when illusion haven’t reached shatter distance – most chances u don’t know how shatters works) = no damage dealt
3) Escapist absolution + illusions = seems doesn’t exist. Inflicted ~12sec confusion, summoned phantasmal mage, mage attacked friend, friend dodged phantasm attack = confusion is cleared. I din’t attack (stowed weapon). Din’t check with clones, but I suppose that result wouldd be the same.

CC immunity is called stability.lol – I’ve been playing games since long before “WoW” was even a gleam in someone’s eye. Try not to be so condescending, as it simply demonstrates ignorance. Use Google, and look up “cc immunity timer DAOC”.
Doesn’t matter. I call all such play style (ppl that want more vertical stat progression, other grind staff, and “cc immunity timer”) lovers – “WoW – players”
And as has been said cc immunity is called “stability”. It works not as in wow/daoc/other game, but it works.

In fact I can’t dodge skull grinders on reaction (and any other less then 3/4s skills) due to high ping. Same with interrupt.
moa is basically a insta death and animation is a little purple ball at their hands like literally everything else they do.
1s cast time, signet over mesmer head, purple glow over the body (purple = elite skill), specific sound, cont split appearance, etc.
dodging moa isnt skill. its pure luck.

Consider suggestions below:
1) Make ability to choose standard models for wvw and other modes (unranked,hj). Or make option to enlarge all races to standard human height (if you expect money loss because of skins). Or any other option to make those azura animation discernible.
2) Make customizable mouse pointer: size, colour, stays visible on RMC,..
3) Make option to see allies (+pets, illusions, etc) healthbars without hovering mouse pointer over them.

my point is theirs players online but im not aloud to fight them becz ever im to high a rank or 2 low a rank :/. anet should set it that once the numbers drop this low it should start looking at other ranks to fill the gaps

Tbh I’m not seeking build/class to play in preferred playstyle (ty for advice though). Mostly wanna anet employees or forum specialist to read this topic and ponder how to facilitate such gameplay (for all classes and not in spammable manner) . Things like I suggested above – unified animation elements of skills, mb less “evade during cast skills”, etc

I used to play interrupt mesmer for fun. But after HoT/balances it’s getting harder and less efficient (never was truly efficient to be meta though imho). Pulsing / on evade stability, unclear animations, insta or less than 3/4s cast time healing skills, bunch of flash, etc.
I propose Anet to make more moves in this direction to facilitate such playstyle (did some already).
Mb make all healing skill with unified component like concentrating stars and blue light at start of healing animation (not in the middle of 3/4s cast duration skill). Some healing skill do fit under this criteria, but some do not. E.g. channeled vigor – no stars, blue light ~ at middle of cast.
Mesmer GS aa one of the worst range attack between classes in terms of dps (damage PER SECOND)
Support mesm still dcent at in raid, tbh. Not like before ofc, but not very bad
If everything was nerfed to deal pre-HoT damage, the existing raid would still be easily doable
Have you done raids (esp Gorseval) after patch? Just curious. I don’t tryed, but have suspicion that raid are significantly harder even after last patch nerfs, not talking about returning to pre-hot. Prob all maguuma were created with power creep in mind. And anet still did bunch of nerfs to maguuma events/mobs due players feedback (or call it whine if u want)

The tell isn’t a problem (for me) tbh. The rate/CD is. And yes, it is not high priority problem. Mb not even a problem in current balance from teamplay poi, idk.

I’m feared that dat guys not even trolls…
Chrono was heavily nerfed ( even chrono shatter – alacrity nerf, quickness stomp/rezz nerf, Sigil of energy nerf, etc) +buffed thief . I have feelings like chrono is low/mid tier now.
Btw, Chip Skylark.2367 wanna try some BO5 duels where you on chono shatter (with moa) and me on any other class of your choice (build choice is still mine though).

Imo zerk chronoshatter can’t kill decent zerk trap DH at 1×1 on a point (unless used stealthed moa). So if you play shatter and see dh defending point – it is just a waste of time try to decap. I can dodge, but I need too much dodges. Range isn’t an option, melee isn’t too. DH will just outsustain you. Though much of DH players are strictly bad and just staying at a point (and not using LoS, eating berserker, etc).
if you run power mes that it can be hard and might cost you time to kill him if the point his. in wvw mesmer wins

You can +1 him or rotate with teammate on counter build (sustain, heavy condy, etc)m but it is a pain in soloq.

I mean at starting rotation (till not engaged in fight) you have free swap which allows to summon another illusion (like summon phantasm 1, swap weapon before it hit boss, summon phantasm 2 and swap back without CD).
But still if you dont like sigil of concetration then go for surgey, commander gear it’s the way to get boon duration who makes you lose more stat except you are tanking
Nah, I still prefer runes of chronomancer with SoI. I just don’t feel the need of extra boon duration right now – with my current group we easily farms all 3 bosses.
Probably I will just swap one of my current sigils to SoC if/when it will less expensive.

aelfwe.4239, can you give an example of sigil of concentration rotation? Sw/sw +sw/sh, no initial clones, no free weapon swap (I mean no weapon swap with 0 CD like at start of a fight)
I will soon “tm” do testings on allies with and without alacrity, while under the effect of quickness, to estimate the true dps increase for any profession.
Btw could you confirm/disproove ~3s alacrity duration from Illusionary Avanger’s _hit too?
I ponder where DNT took that 6 750 mesmer dps loss when achieving 100% party alacrity from 65% party alacrity.
I am surprised to see such topic complaining about OPnss of chronos mechanic at pve. Before HoT mesmer was taken to pve fairly rare and mostly because of reflects and portals (and only portal is unique ). If mesmer got only sustain dps buff, it still be not very desired party member until this buff made it top 1-2 dps class (and mesmer really got some mediocre sustained dps buff through phantasms survivability).
Now it welcomed in pve because of valuble abilities, though mostly only 1 pr 10 ppl.
I’m not against mesmer sustain dps buff and build diversity, but this wish to remove single mechanic that makes mesmer unique and desirable in raids…
I would be glad if anet made elites accessible to core player too (in spvp)
In theory 3 wells and 2 avengers + shattering and Chronophanasma is more then enough to keep party wide alacrity. You can check it at HoM golem with friends. But with all this mess in fight I’m not sure. Not saying it is not impossible though. Mb it is a matter of adaptation. This mess is another reason why I like to have bunch of extra quickness.
Btw seems like alacrity from Avenger closer to 3s then to 2s?
I did next test in HoM (spvp):
1. Pull out 1 avenger.
2. Wait till his initial alacrity fades off
3. Casted Moa on golem (180s CD)
4. Right after Moa cast end started stopwatch
5. ~143s and 19 avenger hits later got moa refreshed
So I got a CD reduction like 37s, which equals 56s of alcrity (37/0.66=56) . 56s in 19 avenger hits is like ~2.95s alacrity per 1 avenger hit. Thus avenger gives more then 2s per hit.
Or I did something wrong?

If raid no need additional pull from focus I prefer/try sw/sw+sh and keep 2 swordsman and 1 avenger. Ideally (never happens to me though ) with WoR + 2 other wells you can keep like 33s of alacrity for 5 ppl: (WoR (7s) + WoA (2s) + WoE(2s))*3 = 33s per 50s ((WoR 40s CD * 2 + ~2s cast time)/1.66 ~ 50s) rotation. This is 33/50 ~ 66% alacrity uptime. Plus 1 avenger gives 2s of alacrity every 7.5s (not affected by phantasmal haste iirr ) This is like 2/7.5 ~ 26% alacrity uptime; 26%+66% = 92%. A bit more cause shattering and chronophanasma. This is at ideal situation when all alacrity lands. On other side because of absence of signet of ether and rotation, part of the battle I have to spend with 2 avengers.

Seeing this, I would GLADLY sacrifice 90 DPS for nearly 14% extra boon duration for the party. That’s potentially 3+ more autoattacks and a couple of skills per person. The 90 DPS lost is peanuts in comparison.

Imo you are using this calculator in wrong way. Probably you just inserted power to “Attack” field, when this calculator seems accepts (non-crit) damage inflicted. Plus better not to count only armor stats difference, but difference when all modificators are applied (might stacks fury, banners, traits, phantasms, etc). Probably the difference is more then 90 dps.
Commanders seems very good, but one thing that I don’t like is that this armor gives toughness to you. Very often in my group a dedicated tank have only 1100-1200 toughness (usually full zerk with only cavalier amu). But if mesmer is going to be tank or other tank have more then 1200 toughness – prob not a bad choice.
Full zerk/assasin with sigil of concetration on mh weapon could be a better choice, but usage of this sigil is inconvinient imo (for me at this moment). With this zerk/assasin mix with 70% boon duration seems pretty easy (and cheap! ) to keep perma quickness for 5 ppl. Need to do test for raidwide quickness, but too lazy to farm new gear though. All 3 bosses are relatively easy farmed in my current setup.
