I use it all the time. I haven’t had account problems. Entire guild has used it too, no reported issues.

It makes use of released API for GW2, so pretty sure its “legal” to use.

soon weakness is going to be the bane of everything in PvP and PvE that relies on dealing massive critical hits.

I use rampager’s gear over rabid gear. I’ve been thinking of switching to rabid too, but i don’t know how much better rabid is to rampagers or vice versa. having more condition damage would be nice, but it’s only a little more compared to rampagers and i’d have less crit chance to boot. with rampagers I also have the power for when I can’t always be in perfect position for the bleed from shortbow.

This is so stupid. All of the shortbow’s DPS is on the autoattack. You could increase the damage of the other abilities by 40% and it would still be a DPS loss over just using the autoattack.

What love did the longbow receive besides projectile speed? You’ll still be dead as soon as someone gets close to you.

I might be missing something, but as far as I can see in the notes, all that is changing with crossfire is its range. Crossfire doesn’t depend on its range to deal damage, so… why is it going to do less damage?

Well looks like its fixed. My friend just talked to this guy right here and got the achievement.

Gunna add this to main post so if anyone else has problems they can see it.

These are all the NPC’s on the platform. I count 8 plus a generic Lionguard who only has a “greet” F-key option.

I’m gunna have him go through and talk to them all again but he’s done it a few times now, if it was gunna work it should have already worked by now.

There were 9 members there at the beginning. Make sure he talks to Magnus, as well.

And Theo was one of the nine, there is still nine, but Theo’s spot is replaced by a lionsguard member

Is the lionguard member he is supposed to talk to on the platform the Magnus is on? because he has talked to every NPC on that platform, along with Inspector Keil and the Moa/dragonball NPC’s and hasn’t gotten it.

He’s talked to everyone on the platform multiple times, he’s even gone through all of the dialog with each NPC, even each lionguard. I counted on the platform there are 8 people total, and he’s talked to everyone.

My friend recently started playing and I’ve been helping him with dragon bash achievements, but when he went to talk to all the captains, hes missing one of them.

I checked the wiki and it said to talk to the lion guard on the platform if they are not there, and he did but still hasn’t gotten the achievement. Does anyone know what he could be missing? or is it bugged?

EDIT If you are also having problems, check this guy near the Asura gates to other towns in LA. It worked for him, maybe it’ll work for you.

Usually in games I like playing support characters. In Gw2 this is hard so I just play elementalist so I can do a lot of damage while also supporting the team.

In other games with dedicated healers I like to be a healer because I can then choose if the jerks in the group live or die because nobody screws with the white mage.

No, I’ve seen many of them running around. I even remember doing the underwater champion krait event in Caledon Forest with an Employee once.

Problem is most of the employees I have seen all play warrior…

My friend was getting this too, as soon as he ran the game in administrator mode it fixed. Give that a try.

Fractals are good I suppose. Lots of Heavy item bags, lots of level 80+ assorted mob types so you get pretty much all types of materials.

You could do CoE too, but thats harder to find a group for.

i have the GT520, 3gb DDR3 ram and a far weaker CPU and I get 30 FPS on medium-low graphics (which still looks awesome may I add) everywhere except where there are large amounts of people (i.e. WvW).

How can you farm UB Fractal? I didn’t think mobs respawned in there.

Anyone else have problems when logging in that the first movement command you give gets “stuck” so you keep moving forward/in circles and if you try and press other movement keys after a while it stops and then does what you wanted it to do? This happens to me every now and then but its a new thing, I’ve never experienced it before.

If you know about this and might have a solution, I;d love to hear it even if it might not work. Anything is worth a try.

So I know that T6 dust salvages from Ectos. But is it a rare salvage in like normally you get T5 dust with a rare chance at a T6 dust? Or is it just straight T6 dust? Also, which salvage kit works best?

As far as I know almost all runes/sigils that have a proc effect have an internal cooldown. As for chance to proc, I think only the higher chance for the same effect would count.

Its really broken when you deal 15 damage, and people heal for 15+ instantly every second.

You’d also have the problem that some people wouldn’t actually do anything as the boss besides run in and stand still so everyone can get free loot.

Its a good idea. I’ve accidentally Mystic Forged my trade out weapons a few times and its not a good feeling

As far as I know they just don’t want swearing in public chat channels.

Guild chat is mainly moderated by the guilds themselves, if they allow swearing in guild chat (as my guild does) then nothing can be done about it and if you don’t like it just find another guild.

I would assume party chat would go by the same rules in a way. It’s moderated by the players within it. If they do/n’t allow swearing you either conform to the group or leave and find another.

You can buy all three campaigns (Factions Prophecies and Nightfall) in a really cheap bundle, like 40-50 dollars. Eye of the North is only like 25 bucks if not less.

I think we know what needs nerfing now.

There is nothing that inherently makes a Mesmer better than an elementalist, it all comes down to their build and play style and what they’re going up against.

Party wide quickness buff vs. not even a self quickness skill begs to differ.

We’ve been barking up this tree since about day 1, and apparently they are “looking into it”.

It looks like the same face just the beard is removed. Hair gets removed with a lot of gear (most notably town gear) when it shouldn’t. Should be put on a list to get fixed though.

Not all traits need to be changed. Many of them are quite fine as they are. Even some of those considered “bad” by most players, such as flat 10% increases, do have their places among traits.

Changing ALL traits feels like a knee-jerk reaction to the way some traits are bad. This won’t lead to a fix – making so many big changes will take a very long time, and ArenaNet will need even longer to balance everything after those changes have been first implemented.

Instead of changing everything, they should focus on changing the really bad and the bad traits, leaving everything else as it is today.

To be honest, even if all current traits don’t need adjustments, you don’t know what they are changing. If they change some traits, they could make others that are fine pointless to use or may make new mandatory pairs of traits due to how good the combo becomes.

I am going to make it my mission to now go around in game and let me character be racist to plants and humans by calling them salad bowls and meat and bookah and I can’t get banned because its only game racism.

Just because Amazon says it’ll be out on X day doesn’t mean it will be. It could just be a guess at when it’ll be released.

For the most part all content was temporary besides fractals. no more Orbs of power in wvw due to hackers. Most ran dungeon is CoF Path 1. Warriors and mesmers pretty much dominate in terms of max efficiency for most things. Tons of temporary content you shouldn’t worry about because you’ll probably never get to do it anyway.

Less defense than I run. Full Berserker Armor/Weapon with PVT trinkets. Stacking might on myself I still end up hitting fairly high crits while being able to actually take a hit.

There is. You have to set your online status to “LFG” then if someone hits Y (or whatever their friends list hotkey is) and then click the Looking for Group tab, you see the list fo people in your zone “LFG”.

Only problem is, it doesn’t tell you for what, and I’m not even sure its entirely zone wide, probably within a certain range.

probably just found the current really really bad LFG tool thats already in game.

Actually if you read his second post he isn’t asking for soulbound → account bound at all.
