Um, well, now they are all saying Ellen won. What the flip is going on here Anet? Can we get an official response?
You got trolled by this thread.
lol, best part about that is that it’s my thread.

In case you haven’t seen, the Heralds in LA are announcing Evon Gnashblade as the winner of the seat on the Ships council. Sorry Kiel, better luck next time.
Evon Gnashblade won, you can talk to the Heralds in LA and they will give you the announcement of his victory.
It is just the PvP Flame Harpoon.

There is no PvE version.
Why would you transmute a legendary?
To get a different set of stats other than what comes on the weapon when its made.
Read through the profession descriptions and start with the one you identify with/find the most interesting.
https://www.guildwars2.com/en/the-game/professions/
Like Sabertooth said, you will have a good idea of a class around level 10 but I would say hold out till 20 when you have some trait points and your 3 utility slots unlocked. If the profession doesn’t fit what your looking for you can start up another with out feeling like your losing a great deal of time invested in the current one.
Dolan,
Maybe I wasn’t clear enough describing what really bothers me.
I enjoy the dungeons to some extent, as well as that I’m not being forced all the time to play a specific role. I’d like to have a mixture of that, instead of the current state of mandatory zerg warr or go do fractals with your guild, since other dungeon groups are hard to come by.
Maybe you should look into a different server if you’re having so much difficulty finding a group. It takes me maybe 5 mins to get a group together for any dungeon I’m wanting to run but maybe its different by server. Having a guild of people you run with and know each others play styles is a huge benefit when compared to running pugs and will make dungeon runs much more enjoyable.
Mandatory bezerker warriors is something your going to run into with many players looking to rush content and grind out repetative runs and are easily avoidable by just not playing with people who choose to play this way. I hardy ever run with full glass cannon warriors and have great dungeon experiences with a variety group compositions. So yes, maybe my CoF run last 10 minutes instead of 6 but I’m enjoying the game. Again being in a guild of like minded players makes all the difference, I think if you can find a group you work well with, who don’t have limited view points on how to run dungeons then you will probably start to enjoy the game much more.
Deep Lilac or Shy Lilac would also be very close in colour to your characters skin tone.
Thanks guys!
Yeah, im not looking to hit 80 ASAP. WoW turned into a job after a while, so I want to avoid that at all costs for this game.
I would strongly recommend taking your time leveling and not just powering through content. A large part of the game is leveling and you’ll take much more enjoyment by not rushing through it.
Does the armorsmithing have quality legendaries as well?
Different legendary weapons require crafted gifts from different professions. Here is a guide for creating legendary items.

Shoulders, and gloves are T2 Human, the pants are Nobleman’s from CM vendor, the chest is Primeval from the gem shop, the Helm is Vigil and boots are Heritage from Hall of Monuments.

I usually hold my level 80 masterworks to put into the Mystic Forge to make rares and then salvage those for ecto.

Our member Kilbourne has a few videos of Warrior and Mesmer builds.
I have a friend who was unjustly banned by ArenaNet who then refused to unban him. He took his complaint to NcSoft and later that day had his account back and a 2000 gem compensation for his troubles. Maybe it’s time for you to take your complaints up the chain of command.
I haven’t seen any torches with blue flame other than the Ghastley one. Just a guess but maybe Torch of the Dragon’s Deep or Corrupted Wartorch will have blue flames.
Treahern’s head as a hat. In the tooltip there should be a quote that reads “Treahern said come at me bro, so I did.”
Now that can’t be right.
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Hundred_Blades
My character doesn’t wait 3.5 second before actually doing Hundred Blades.
No but it takes 3.5 seconds for full damage to be reached. Just as with necrotic bite, which takes 1/4 seconds to cause damage. Sometimes damage starts at the beginning of an activation timer and cumulates damage over time, while others start an animation and cause damage at the end of the activation timer.

You are in the wrong tunnel, you need to move to the next level up.

It is not impossible to get a rare dye in low level areas. I have never noticed any one area having a higher drop rate of unidentified dye vs any other.
Hope this can help you:
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Dye
So if it has no activation time, then the whole combo:
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Necrotic_Slash
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Necrotic_Stab
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Necrotic_Bite
takes 1/4 second to trigger?
No, Necrotic Bite takes 1/4 seconds to trigger. The first two are considered to be “instant” but still take a small fraction of time due to their animations. Basically if you take off autocast and engage an enemy the basic thought is that Slash and Stab will happen right after you press the button to activate them and then Bite will happen 1/4 of a second after you press the button a third time.
Perhaps http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Cast_time will help you to understand activation times better.
(edited by Uriel.3684)
Nothing earth shattering has happened in the last 3 days.
Actually the 1/4 second cast time is on the 3rd attack in the chain, if you watch closely during combat you will see the first 2 attacks go off and then right before Necrotic bite your character will “wind up” the last attack and you should see a cast bar pop up at youy toon’s feet. When the cast bar fills up (1/4 seconds) the attack goes off.
The 1st and 2nd attacks have no activation time.

Citadel of Flame,it’s dungeon gear, 90% ofthe people wear this. But if you want to see all the available dungeon gears,go to the southern waypoint in LA and look to your right, there are vendors standing from each dungeon where you can see the armors, weapons that you are able to earn from doing these dungeons.
What does it require to get it, how much ect?
A full set will require 1,380 CoF dungeon tokens known as “Flame Legion Charr Carvings”.
CoF path 1 is pretty easy when you know what you’re doing, especially with speed runs.
Honestly, tho, AC is one of the simplest.
It sounds like you just had a REALLY bad party.
The OP is lvl 64, CoF Explorable is lvl 75.
Find groups that consist of higher lvl players and you can clear AC pretty quickly.
Unfortunately there are no armor models of this set for players atm.
That is a Peacemaker Greatsword. The skin is available in a different qualities and levels.

Edit:Yeah, just realized you meant the scepter, Recycle has the right answer.

Those mini’s are for sale during the Wintersday event only. Maybe you can get one next year.
Having others to run with does help, if you can’t find a guild mate to run around with you can usually find at least 1 person in a zone to group with. I found the best way to do zone completion was to go from heart to heart and hit every PoI, vista and skill point on the way.
Gendarren Fields has a really good spot for farming Veteran Oakhearts. There are about 8-9 in the area and they have a short enough spawn timer that by the time you kill them all the first ones should be respawning again. There is also a skill point nearby that spawns 3 additional Oakhearts every time someone activates it. The closest waypoints are Lionbridge and First Haven.

It is my impression that the difference is that metallic dyes are named/inspired by the natural colors of different metals like bronze, copper, tungsten etc…. the leather dyes are named/inspired by colors seen on leather and Vibrant encompasses everything else.
Yes, having a main hand and off-hand with +crit damage in the weapon stats does stack.
To my knowledge that should stack to +45% bleed duration.
Edit: I just checked a couple of build calculators and they all showed a +45% bleed duration for using this rune setup.

I agree with Rezzet, sell your Dawn on the TP and use the gold to buy Dusk. Better safe than sorry.
I’m glad it helped, see you around SoR.
Agreed, I have the same dilemma atm.
Have you tried running the game advisor and including the information it gives in a support ticket through the support page?

Here is a link to the guide I use to farm corrupted lodestones:
http://www.almarsguides.com/gw2/farming/locations/icebrood.cfm
I have never had the success rates he reports but I have had success. I also recommend dungeon farming for gold in order to buy lodestones from the trade post (TP). Fractals are my favorite since I get a higher rate of rare drops which I can salvage for ectos and then sell on the TP. Fractals also tend to drop more cores and lodestones of the varieties I don’t need which also makes good gold on the TP.
Good luck farming.
It’s definantely Celestial dye.
The Defense stat is combined with the stat Toughness to determine your armor, the more armor you have the less direct damage you take. It has has no effect on your health pool, in order to increase your health pool you need Vitality.
Keep playing them both to 80, at level 15 your still getting a feel for the classes. After playing them both for a longer period, fully unlocking utility and elite skills you will probably be able to make a solid decision on which profession you prefer to play.
You should fill out an ingame bug report and if that gets no response then you can fill a ticket through the support page:
You could always stay on SoS as your home server and play on their WvW teams and when you want to play with the other guild you can guest (once implemented) to that server and run dungeons and other PvE events with that guild. Otherwise just go where you will have the most fun.
Old issue, pretty lengthy thread about it here:
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/bugs/Annoying-Sound-Bug/first
At this point WvW is impossible to play for me because GW2 crashes everytime I enter combat.
WvW is now 100% unplayable- enter combat, sound bug, disconnect. It happens everytime. I am really looking forward to a fix for this since over the last few months the bug is happening more and more often in PvE and guarenteed to happen in WvW.
I went with Sage and Midnight Ice as the main colors for anything metallic. Taupe and Midnight Yew for leather/fabric pieces. I put in Midnight Yew to break up the two colors on my boots while bringing some green lower on my character model. I use Ivory for the antlers on the helm and Forgiveness on the inside of the gloves.
I really like the Sage and Midnight Ice since they become more Green/Blue, respectively, depending on lighting.
