Having the same issue with zoning. I’ve tried joining several times, either getting the DR loading screen or the “map is full” message as well.

I believe that the heart in question was moved some time ago. If I’m not mistaken, it is now southeast of that area.

I’d want to be either my asuran engi, or human thief. Something with some stealth so I can sneak around a bit in dangerous areas, but enough firepower to obliterate anything in front of me.

I’d spend my days farming and cooking like I already do, exploring the deepest, darkest places in search of the best ingredients.

Then I’d make a mint selling it all, which would then be spent on books. I’d make it a point to read everything I can get my little hands on once I learned the languages.

I tried to create something Hazmat-ish for my necro. Mostly mix and match cultural with the gas mask and injector backpack.

Nice. So much fun last night! Those were some amazing open field battles.

1. Concerned? No, we’ve seen spikes in activity several times before. Will it drop off? Yes, most likely. As the PvE achieve crowd we’ve gained gets their points, or gets frustrated with hard fights, we’ll get some drop off. We’ll also gain plenty that truly enjoy WvW after getting a taste and stick around.

2. Queue’s are what they are. We’ve always had them to some extent, especially on maps like EB and TCBL. We’ve also dealt with plenty of lag. We’ll adjust as we always have.

3. Eh, juries still out on this one. My personal opinion, it’ll be nice to not get paired with severely lower ranked servers for awhile. I like the challenge.

4. Never been a fan of bloodlust. I’d rather go back to not having it, but if we have to, the current version is slightly less annoying and doesn’t wildly swing favor.

5. PPT/ Open field. We’re a pretty solid mix of defensive and offensive players.

2. Defensive play rewards (lack thereof)
3. Keep/camp claim buffs (longer timer-e.g. 24 hr instead of 12/ claim drops when buffs run out, ect.)

Ahh, gotcha. We were playing D on our BL tonight and didn’t flip much of anything than a camp or two so not a whole lot of NPC kills. Still, forced to mindlessly PvE’ing for loot and achieve’s. Meh, rather be pvping.

Pretty much this. Bomb heals, elixir gun #5, healing turret for cleanse and burst heal. Engi is my favorite to run WvW with.

This was an intended change. Players were using supply specifically to level the achievement – and there’s better uses for supply than that. This is our first step towards improving WvW achievements overall.

However, I do agree that we could have communicated this a bit better.

Well, not the answer I was hoping for. I get it, but I don’t like it. The fact that it was just dropped on us without warning, or without any that I had seen, was a bit rough. That was my main WvW goal, the first achieve I was even remotely close to getting, and was in no way obtained by wasting supply. It all went to tower defense siege as I usually sentry. I really don’t think this change will stop supply wasters either. There will always be troll siege built by griefers.

I’m a bit sad to see it go the way that it did. Is there any idea on putting the title back in game in some other form?

Pretty disappointed that we don’t even get trick or treat bag drops with kills, or at least I didn’t get any tonight if they somehow slipped a few in by accident. I figured WvW would at least get that much. Nope! The only thing I’ve seen is the Citadel is decorated.

Crazy fights on TCBL tonight. BG and JQ both had us running laps around the place. Lots of fun tonight!

Bumping this because I haven’t seen an answer as of yet regarding these two achievements. I’m hoping it’s just a glitch! I was chugging along, slowly but still making some significant headway, on Master of Disaster and know a few other fellow defenders that were getting very close to their title.

Correct. It defaults to your PvP armor.

In the Heart of the Mists you can fight sparring NPC’s of all classes, and use a finishing move on them. You can use them to check out all of your finishers.

I’ve never really understood Rabid gear. I have Carrion (PVC) and run a Condition build. Yeah, Yeah, Yeah, I know. I only have 8% Critical Chance….

….but hey, I’m all in on Conditions.

IMhO Rabid, which has both Precision and Condition Damage, just doesn’t do any one build justice. Maybe a hybrid? which I have run before, but it was not very satisfying.

Probably the easiest visual to explain it: Rabid gear in WvW keeps me from going down faster than a drunk freshman after their first keg stand when everyone’s yelling “CHUG”. The toughness is pretty necessary for zerg fights, especially considering the huge blobby lag we usually deal with in T1/2. I’d rather be beefy and half health than deader than dead and rezzing half the enemy team while plowing through their zerg.

You can absolutely pick up a full Rabid set in WvW. Home BL in the citadel look for the Armor Master up front. That vendor sells multiple sets, rabid is one of the bottom options. It’ll cost you 950 badges and about 5g50s in total. Accessories and rings I’m not 100% on, but pretty sure that on of the Orr temple vendors has a few. I never dungeon either so no clue on those vendors.

As for spec, I’ve run something similar in the past, only thing I might suggest is if you aren’t having a tough time holding up against enemy condi builds, swap C for something like Toolkit for the extra confusion, block and pull. That’s just my goto kit anyway.

During the week, early mornings 2-6 AM NA time (CST b/c thats my time zone and I’m not sure where in the US you are). Morning can be a bit hit or miss though. Afternoons it usually opens up again between 11 AM and 3-4 PM. You’ll probably have better luck during the afternoon. Weekends are kind of tough to guess if we’ll see it drop to high at all, it depends on who we get in the WvW matchup on reset.
Also check up on TCGW2.com. Thats our server forum, usually a few people try and keep everyone up to date on High vs Full times for those trying to transfer over.

Sounds like a trumpet. I was just watching someone play the Star Wars theme on it in LA. Very cool little item, and not RNG based like the bells were, which I hope would make a lot of people happy.

They do show on map when they spawn. Issue tonight (at least on my server) being the vast majority are camped out and are blasted as soon as they re-spawn.

This canned response to everything proposed as a change drives me freaking batty. How?! I mean really, how would having auto loot option promote more zerging?Seriously. I want to know.

I have had more loot bags drop in small scale fights that I never get to grab than running with a zerg. An auto loot function would only give me more reason to solo roam or small group party like I love to do. I have lost count the number of bags I’ve missed out on due to small scale fights where the balance tipped in the enemies favor slightly, that one extra guy of theirs rolling up at a bad time.
That missed loot bag taunts me, I know it was something shiny. It wasn’t a spike, nope, it was something better! Yet that thief came out of nowhere, they held the supply camp, got their guys up, and there’s no way to make it back in time before the bag despawns. Arrggggg!!!!

Moral of the story?
Auto loot. Do want.

I don’t find repair costs to be all that onerous, myself. Granted, I’m only in rares (with the odd exotic weapon or ascended trinket, but I don’t think those take damage), so I don’t know if it gets more expensive with better gear. But I only pay a silver and change, which I can make up pretty quick.

Full set of exotics only damaged not broken, I’m dropping at least 12 silver for repair of the entire set. I rarely let it get to broken so not sure how much more expensive that’d be. Tend to roam lately, and following an angry enemy zerg leads to a lot of repair bills.

As far as something to remedy that, repair canisters sold for badges. I would love to see something like that! I carry around a few that have dropped from black lion chests and that one repair bill I don’t have is so very nice.

As far as loot, anything is better than current, I really like the idea of a vendor at spawn to retrieve from. I’d honestly like to see something like that in place for all bag drops, less to worry about in the middle of an epic battle, just pick up your stuff at the end of the run on the way out. That’d keep me from picking up all those silly warrior banners that I think are bags because the “Press F” popped up on my screen. :P

Ha! Yeah, I don’t know about you DB and FA guys, but TC players have been straight up goofy the last couple of days. Its been a blast, and I haven’t laughed this much in WvW in ages. I’ll be a little bummed once siege is fixed, but only a little.

Increased supply delivery is a must for me. Usually trying to upgrade one tower or another on home BL and without increased supply it’s a motherkittener and takes astronomically longer. The other upgrades I’m fairly meh on unless it’s north camp since that is far more easily defended that the rest, that’s the only one I’ll spend time on fully upgrading. The rest flip hands so often I’d go broke (more so than already am) trying to upgrade them all.

The only other time I’ll drop T2 upgrades is if I know an enemy zerg is coming. Denying them the supply makes it that much longer for them to build anything, means I keep my shinies that much longer. Its worth the 10s to make them wait.

Mhmm. We had that issue a lot tonight. Since I typically sentry, my usual MO is to drop lots of siege after taking a tower. Not being able to sent me into twitches a couple of times.

TCBL tonight. Most fun I’ve had in weeks! So much fun!!! Great fights all around, it was a blast walking into a red and blue map and painting it green again! Garrison was insane! Between Agg and company, along with FA stomping in behind us, it was pins and needles as to who got it and kept it. Fights like tonights are why I LOVE WvW!!!

So ready for siege cap to be fixed though, seemed like whoever could actually place siege won. Hearing commanders saying they couldn’t drop rams, trebs, ect. sucked, but then they’d follow that statement up with “Screw it! Madmode that door down!” And we would, and life was good.

Lots of fun tonight on TCBL. Being an Asura football for the NS guardian crew was pretty funny.

Jumping will trigger it, or just moving in general while hitting F while ticking siege will cause the glitch in certain areas. I had this issue with some AC’s in our home garrison that were right on the edge of walls. We found out that if you /dance while bugged it’ll 9 times out of 10 fix it without waypointing. Or swapping weapons, but dancing is so much cooler.
