Only a minority of players would be interested but probably enough to have 1 dedicated hardcore only server in Europe and in the US…
It would be PvE hardcore only, its impossible not to die in PvP or WvW…
A hardcore GW2 would have its own unique economy and gameplay style, with a lot of builds designed to avoid death…
And people scream now about wasted resources to temp content. Can’t imagine the noise from setting up dedicated servers for this.

The OP wanted ANET to ask for permission to make any and all changes since they felt the game was “complete” just after release.
They have already posted that the skills are being split between the different areas (sPvP, PvE and WvW). What that means will be seen in a few hours time.
Actually, I do “believe”. So please don’t speak for me. The frustration many of us feel is in how long it takes for them to release content, not that they don’t release any at all.
Unfortunately, an objective majority of the player base feels the way OP does. It is nice that you are content though.

I do not want to block them from messaging me. I would not like them to know the information that becomes available from being considered a friend, since I did not accept any friend request.

Key farming was an interesting thing for me. From what I read it will no longer be possible to do the same way but I will wait until the actual release to be able to form an opinion.
They are independent side stories. Season one was set up to be there and gone like a living world thus the name. A lot disliked this so season 2 is permanent in all aspects. The seasons are also designed to keep people playing and are free if you log in during the window they are released in. They have said that even if you do not have HoT you will still bank the episodes when you log in and be able to play if at some future date you buy the current version of the game.
As long as you are not in a Rush, you can pretty much stay in tune with what is happening.

I think it is better to have in you mind it is a complicated multiplayer tetras game. There is no win. The max level people can reach is limited not by the game but by interactions and synergies between players skill and ability. When new bells and whistles come out the max level will increase but as has been said above there is a cliff you get to that is eventually too steep.
Well I personally could play games that never had holidays since for me they get stale very quickly. That is just my take on it.
Doesn’t interact with the client so it is not a mod. It is the same as having a window open in the background and checking that.
The simplest solution for that type of situation is to start your own group.
This, just type your level, that you want to learn/have fun and you should get a full group.

Do you need LWS2 to unlock the purchase of these Sinister Trinkets at the Bandit Crests Vendors such as the one found in Blue Oasis – Silverwastes?
I have the trinkets from completing the story achievements yet earlier today when I traded this Vendor in Blue Oasis I saw she had a selection of ascended trinkets, among which an amulet belonging to the old Master of Whispers with the same stats as the “Caithe-Amulet”.
If these trinkets can be purchased without even owning LWS2 then your argument is slightly invaled. they’d be locked behind a wall made out of Bandit Crests instead of Gems.
Only unlocks when you have done the achievements in the story.
You could maybe take an axe and use it on a condition necro or ranger build. Since you can switch stats easier now and switch weapons between characters you might choose a weapon that more than one character can use.
I started during the headstart a year and a half ago and frankly if you where not with the mob of people leveling you always ran into events that had not been completed. What really do you expect? It is not possible to do all the events, it is not meant for all the events to be done all the time which is why there is a difference in completed and incomplete graphics and npc chat.

Not a threat, just another game. Some people who play this game will try it, some will like it some won’t. Flux of every game in existence. Looks completely different, have not tried it yet so no clue but from a first glance it seems a fairly standard Asian type MMO.

You can load the DAT file onto a flash drive and move it to your laptop. Saves bandwidth if that is an issue also should be a lot faster.
Then just use the code to upgrade, there is no difference in the programme.
I can’t really see why the wurm and teq can’t just stay offset an hour all day long they are already a fixed time across servers and time limited in duration. I could be missing something but it really seems strange.
Year of the dragon here, so basically every mmorpg celebrates my year all the time.
There is a cool down on calling new pets, a cool down before you can use them to heal after down and between interupts. To be able to call 4 pets rapidly enough to survive multiple attacks and no one can push the pet off the character sounds like a bug.

It is very repetitive and not rewarding at all. I got 4 gifts out of the entire time of 10 waves. no last chest, just the title. Since one of the beasts died early before people had things going I did not get the other title and will not be back to try to get it.

I would really and truly love for the people threatening to sue to actually do so. Pay 4-500 dollars or equivalent currencies per hour to get back if very very lucky the price you paid for the game. You would need to find an incompetent judge and somehow have the company not delay matters with contesting the verdict but heh, stranger things happen.
They could legally according to the contract you agreed to turn every character into pink fuzzy slippers and the goal of the game would be to find the perfect feet to fit on and you could get squat back.

The game does not live up to your standards/expectations. What have you lost exactly? The market is huge, go out and find something enjoyable that meets your needs.
The basic structure of sPvP, WvWvW and PvE is not going to change. There has been zero hint that they even want to change it in any way. It works for a lot of people, you are not one of them.
They are not attacking the games directly, they are attacking the internet backbone that these games are hosted on.

fangs are one of the few things I get on a regular basis. That and poison glands whatever their name at t6.
An inconvenience at worst, 1 champ box less per play time for me is not in any way significant. It may be for others but frankly I get enough greens from other chests and other sources.
If you are finished with HoT maps why are you worried about masteries? Basic gliding is the only thing used outside of those maps and you get that very, very quickly. I don’t see the problem.

All you need to do is the short story on one character that starts the HoT content. You get 1 mastery point and unlock on the mastery system. After that all experience will go towards Tyria or HoT masteries depending on which maps you are on.
It is exactly what the message you get says. There is a limit to how many mails you can send out in a fixed period of time. Many think it is too tight of a throttle, many don’t even know it is there (like you) but the company has not changed it in years.

Honestly, I wish ArenaNet would just come out and say “It’s not an expansion.” so people would shut up, but that wouldn’t be a good business move.
I wont speculate on whether or not it is an expansion. If it is, then great. If it isn’t, then it’s business as usual and the game will just chug along like normal. Either way, we’ll find out soon enough what all the fuss is about.
