craft jeweler and/or cook since you can get all mats easily by yourself.

Those are a map reward for doing events, they are RNG based. I have never gotten more than 5 so you hit the jackpot.
You are probably never going to get that many again so grats.

Read what people have written already. If you did the story you unlocked the point, even if you did it before HoT. Not complicated.

It is not about switching in combat which attunements and kits do really well. It is about switching out of combat. There is a big difference and few here are even mentioning in combat switching.

Yes there is gem to gold and vice versa, but when you put a gem price on then the precursor price is fixed, never to change. That is not the point or they would have a NPC selling them long ago.

I have way too many sisters, had many aunts, have a wife and daughter, have many female friends and have never, ever seen one of them do anything like this animation you dream about. The closest to real life I can think of is when I was competitively swimming and people (male and female) would mentally work through the race on land and their starts and turns where sort of kind of like that. Care to explain what crap you are grinding and frankly why are you grinding? Leveling is still 20ish hours the long way around (no crafting or tomes of knowledge). Freedom is a fairly random word when applied to a game as well.

You can complain to support and if you have screen shots they can track the people who do this on a regular basis. You actually don’t just need to deal with it but don’t let it get to you.

I would not mind if it where changed to a vet instead of champ. I have done it 4 times a mix of solo and other players.

People seem to have attachment issues. This is a game, not a personal relationship. You may be a wonderful person, you may be a nutbar, all the same thing since you are a name and in some cases several books worth of postings on forums or whatever. Nothing more.
There is no relationship except business to customer.
They owe you nothing but the game.
If they lose people it is not because they don’t love you.

They had a higher cap for a while in game and it was impossible to play any time a large event happened. Somehow doubt other game handle the total population or even close to it. This is the number they feel is the most stable. If you want to get hired by the company to implement any ideas submit your cv and apply.

They could somehow tie it into the current permanent airship or pavilion by making a NPC that gives a conduit if you have that permanent pass. This would not be the only way to get a conduit but would be fair to people who already bought them, and a incentive to people who don’t want to get it via a similar method to the mystic conduit.

I really wish they had not gone the cute route. It is a dragon, not a puppy.

All maps I am in have people in them, doesn’t seem to matter where, someone will run past within seconds of my going to some out of the way area. Map chat is not full because people are either not interested in small talk or using something else to chat with other people.

I think the OP’s point is that he isn’t happy about being in a position where there are potentially cool items, but because of the current implementation and the unknown factor of whether they will be fixed or not he doesn’t know whether he should buy them or not.

If they will be fixed it’s likely he wants them, if they won’t be fixed it’s likely he doesn’t want them.

The tokens are taking up space in the OPs bank, the items will just take those spots. Fixed is a relative thing, they show horns or a halo, they may not show them how you like but they still show them. You can take the opportunity now or miss out.

The fact that you’ve only been playing the game for 2 months makes it reasonable why you do not understand the OP. I suggest you read it again.

I don’t need to read it again. Every forum of every MMO is filled with complaints from people who play insane amounts of time and get bored of the game, but rather than recognizing that maybe they should take a break and try something else, claim that there’s something wrong with the game.

You can’t. The only method as of now is to join someone already on a map or relog and hope to get a new less populated one.

No where did I say it was easy. I said it took time and a willingness to learn. I don’t actively search out groups and play solo but I also never pass up a chance to do an event because other people are doing it as well.

There should have never been levels in the first place.

What should they have done?

You simply gain skill points as you fill the bar with your traits already unlocked and all areas are of the same “level.”

They tried it early beta testing, it was changed to levels because people did not like it.

Those people were wrong, as evidenced by the game’s mostly empty maps outside orr and metaboss spawning grounds.

This is what you get when you introduce levels: wasted assets.

Ah well, good thing you will change all that when your game comes out.

How exactly? They could be bought from day 1. That they are given as a reward for an international tournament debases them for you is a little strange.

What happened to the Frostgorge train? I’ve been mapping the area on and off over the last week or so and there’s always a train there. It doesn’t seem to be as many people as there were in Queensdale but I put them down to “players” who want to mindlessly farm champions being split between there, Orr and the Pavillion.

Nothing happened to the Frostgorge train. You need to actually get there first though and finding your way around a map if you only did queensdale is hard.

It would be nice if they could do this.

Whiners happen, I would love it if they did not fill up every available space but they do. I like that the forum is moderated to reduce it.

The only mobs I’ve found problematic are the rift mobs. Cant remember what mobs where there but fire imps, and a mob that was knocking me down alot, I burned to death quite quickly lol.

you need to pick up the dropped pieces and throw them at the mob. The break-bar is broken and they die quickly after that.

A single dungeon with the depth and the difficulty of underworld/ fow or doa from GW1 would be enough to keep many players busy for months. But instead of we get some living story that you finish in one hour, and thats it.
The combat-system of GW2 is the best i ever played, and i dont understand why they waste it with their living story instead of giving us a challenging dungeon.

A dungeon along the lines of the Aetherblade path that is not done by people because you can do several other dungeons in the same length of time it takes to run this one path?

I really don’t want them but they seem to be on their way. Will be a lot more trouble than dealing with whiny threads on forums due to being the same number of whiny threads from a different angle but also in game problems related solely to mounts.

If you did all cities and all maps that are up level 13 you should be about level 40 or so.

On another note, I was reading the comments on the massively site and saw this wonderfull comment from the user “Vespero”:

No offense Arenanet, but this post (in my opinion) describes exactly how you guys handle the game. This communtiy gave you really long and constructive posts over the year, but they never seem to get your attention.

If your house is missing a roof and you ask others what to do you are really lacking. You fix what you can, maybe ask for quotes for cost of repairs, you do not in any way wander around asking what to do.
Ask for constructive, several are. It does not mean it will get into the game. Huge number are not in any way constructive to the game. Many things have gone into the game due to what is in forums, they have said so, you can see for yourself if you look.

Comparable bosses give a daily yellow personal chest in game.

The schedule to me is a bad idea. That guilds can open the event is great but the guilds I do the big events with do not have any influence or merits since people just rep when the event is on. That mean they either need to get people to give gold to get influence then farm merits or just disband, which to me is not very healthy.
Others have also hit on that if your real life does not fit the game schedule you are out of luck. At least now you can miss a big event and still catch the next one, after this goes live you are SOL.

Yes you can start Heart of thorns now.

The 2nd and 3rd story arcs are bundled if you did not unlock them or you can buy one at a time at a slightly higher price. Can be bought when you order the next expansion as a cash ad-on or with gems at a later date.
