Is gems sale all this company cares about?
If you run the risk of destroying your game because of profits…just add a monthly subscription!
It has been 4 years of the same crap : nightcapping and 24/7 outnumbered…super stacked servers on one side and the losers on the others, those who refuse or can’t pay 2000 gems to bandwagon to the fotm server
The population on the losing server keeps decreasing and decreasing, new players join in and get faced by a mob 10x the size of his team..get steamrolled and auto..quit
Nightcapping is a majore issues, it has been so for years, the PPT system is a complete failure.You know it already, you’re aware that some servers win every matchup by capping everything in the middle of the night.
Great game potential..but horrible management..atrocious
Dragonhunter IS a cheez build lol.
Eh, it’s no big deal. I guess now you may have to pay attention when stealthing instead of just spamming backstab.
The mass-salvage.
Because specific to my class, all changes including the GS2 are way too little (I hate to add a too late, but it feels like they’ve given up on rebalancing classes properly…).
What GW2 needs is sweeping class reworks. Not balancing tweaks. We have entire class concepts which don’t fit their class mechanics, skill types which don’t make sense, classes which feel way too similar to each other and just not enough personal space for everyone.
I mean at the very least a Mesmer should not be durable at all, but also not really be targetable in most situations. And I don’t mean the “Oh I got a blink I’m soooo slippery”-stuff which the sPvP crowd tends to cry about, I mean, say, being passively invisible even while attacking, as long as illusions are up.
You know, powerful class-elements. Which make classes feel distinct and uniquely contributing to the game as a whole. Instant cast AE stun on Pac Healers in DAoC vs bolt-range 1:30 minutes Mezz on Sorcerers. That’s class-differences! Those allow you to actually balance classes against each other because they give everyone their own personal field of expertise where they will be superior.
They won’t, if they did how could they BS us and fall back on the “our metrics show” excuse.
kittens sake not this again. Yes, it will take like a week of casual WvWing (or a day of zerging) to get the gift. So. What.
WvWers that want a legendary have to spend probably 3x that casual time doing PvE world exploration. If you think a short reward track is so horrible you have zero perspective.
Don’t know if this is related but i can consistently reproduce the crash by mouse over the reward track above mini map in wvw.
Old age.
Old age kills scrapper.
No more polls to do with siege
Miranda Zero – Ele / Twitch Zero – Mes / Chargrin Soulboom – Engi
Aliera Zero – Guardian / Reaver Zero – Necro
To all the people saying that druid is “faceroll 1v1” “as long as you know what do do” I have 1 question:
How long have you been playing the game?
There are a lot of people new to the game, new to wvw, new to roaming, new to the class and the build. None of them have the years of experience we have. Something that I think of being very easy to do probably takes the newer guys intense focus and concentration.
It’s precisely because we’ve been playing the game so long that we think of something as a faceroll. This doesn’t go for everyone.
The druid who’s been playing the game since release winning a 1v2 relatively easily can’t be the only judge of a build compared to the druid who bought the game last month and lost on the same build to a guard (for instance).
There is a spectrum, we’ve played so much and practiced so long we can’t get it wrong. There probably more people playing who are practicing so they can finally start getting it right.
BB aren’t so bad. Sure, the nightcapping is frustrating, but that’s more than made up for in amusement at how awful they are.
In any case, they’re EU players, so Anet couldn’t really justify shifting them all to NA (bear in mind it’d affect their PvE/PvP players also).
na does not want your server full of perma stealth condi thieves either.
na does not want your server full of perma stealth condi thieves either.
Ah, you just CC them once, then they freeze like deer in the headlights.
While I love the way you’ve obliterated warriors and mesmers ( not really proud of myself) from any form of competitive play , I have to admit that most likely I would ALT F4 and delete all 50 giga of hard disk occupied by GW2 if anything similar to what you suggest would be implemented.
This keeps getting worse and worse, instead of better.
Jade Quarry
Onslaught [OnS]
Title.
They’re worse than elementalists and guardians by 100 fold especially on the new stronghold map. If you haven’t met some of the most annoying builds yet, get ready. 2x druids means it takes more than 4 people 5 mins to kill just 2 door guards. Lords become unkillable basically. On conquests they’re just plain ridiculous by keeping evade spamming zerk thieves alive. Even elementalists weren’t as bad as this.
I thought gw2 wouldn’t have the “holy trinity of tank, heal, dps”. We’re almost there with a healer that’s druid and existing dps. We’re only missing tanks and there’s already some form of it with the “taunt” crap.
They should not have removed minstrel in the first place instead they should’ve fixed the kitten broken class. I’m just glad the smoke pet got nerfed already because otherwise they would’ve been able to deal damage and heal at the same time.
Those first world problems of the favored quad server sure are frustrating. Multiple zergs and multiple commanders in tier 4? The horrors of navigating TS sound frightening.
I think a lot of us would enjoy a nice relaxing between seasons unranked romp with properly balanced classes. Thanks!
You shouldnt be asking for a balance patch then
The death of logic… It hurts.
I mean, they are balanced now (except for DH), a balance patch would proly unbalance them.
Unkillable ele;
Unkillable and strong duelist druid;
Perma-evade thief;
18k+ dmg in 2 sec thief;
Infinite sustain warrior with 3 required spec or he falls off;
Annoying stealth+clones mesmer (not an issue, but still annoying);
Crazy damage, sustain, CC, evades rev;
Useless off-meta builds (power reaper, burn guardian, condition scrapper, etc)
Unkillable by projectiles scrapper;
Infinite AOE condition reaper;
etc.
Yes, balanced indeed.
Wanderer amulet really should not be removed in my opinion. Condi warrior is strong but it is not OP at all. All you need to do is dodge the mace f1 skills when the warr is in berserk mode which has a pretty obvious animation if you are watching for it and then they are on 0 damage until berserk mode is ready again. Wanderer stats do not make warrior too strong.
Mesmer is just as strong on carrion amulet as it is on wanderer (Good but not even close overpowered). The way to play against Mesmer is the same as how you play against warrior- dodge the burst (the shatters) and you should win the fight.
Wanderer amulet itself has only 560 toughness and no vitality so it’s sustain is not fantastic, it has 1050 precision rather than power so direct damage could be much better. The only thing it does really well is condition damage, which is what it should do because it’s a condition amulet.
While wanderer is a good amulet on some classes, there is no real issue with the amulet so it should be kept in game.

You guys seem to miss the point of this thread.
It’s not about crying that someone lost a duel. Like said above: it’s a sort of etiquette.
Now this doesn’t mean that you can expect everyone to follow it but I think it’s important to remind people of things like that every now and then,because it leads to a much more friendly environment and a kind of sub community in a gamemode that is often very stale and being “rip’ed” by people at least a thousand times.
WvW is a competitive game mode. And that is where people seem to have different opinions.
Some people think that because it’s competitive you can get through with the most kitteny behaviour just because it gives you victory.
For me a competitive environment means that people go there to be challenged. And being challenged involves trying to get as many fair encounters as possible,to fight for victory and if necessary… To learn from your mistakes.
Where is the point to go 3v1 or 60v20? You’ve come here to get a challenge, to test your skills and to improve. Not to hide like a crybaby and only fight when there is no way for you to lose anyways.
And if you live by these principles you are also respecting players who have come to this place for fights and to improve their skill and Not to enjoy the landscape for 10min because they are busy running back to you.
All we wanted was a GvG.
Hi! I play a character called The Dye Fairy. Her job is to send random dyes to players to make their day a little bit brighter If you have any rare dyes that you do not need, I would gratefully take them to share them out across Tyria Unfortunately, buying rare dyes has taken it’s toll on my wallet! XD
Thank you in advance, and thank you from all the dye receivers!
Repeating it doesn’t make it right.
Piken Square EU, maybe soon on your server.
So you are saying people should get a legendary backpiece just for showing up to PvP and doing well at PvP shouldnt matter. That type of thinking is just sad.
Thats like saying you should get a raise at work just for showing up even though you are doing a bad job.
If you compare work and a game you don’t expect to be taken serious in this discussion, do you?
Most of the players will get the legendary backpiece. That’s the key of those achievements. They were introduced to get more people into pvp not to reward a minority of players.
They introduced reward tracks for the same reason. They want people to play that part not for some “elitist thinking contest reward”.
To get back to your comparison. If you work, you get paid for showing up, not for the quality of your work. Your employer expects you to be at work in time and do the work you have to. You won’t get paid better because you finished one hour early.
Piken Square EU, maybe soon on your server.
Of course we haters won’t move on. We need to be tireless and as loud as possible. It’s the only thing we can do to persuade ANet to stop making content like this. Never let them forget that there are plenty of people hating it. The squeaky wheel gets the grease.
Am i the only one that finds this incredibly hilarious. Grouch AKA Josh Davis at around this time last year said that thieves mindlessly dodge and announced that the studio will be killing evades. This made thief utterly useless till HoT release.
Just before HoT droppped Karl Mclain with such pride announced the daredevil spec which has even more evades thn what they destroyed thief for. The punchline is during a demo of the spec The Great Mclain literally used only one skill (death blossom) with lotus training to kill the chieftain.
So Anet complains about evades then destroys thieves.They then make evades permanent and make it extremely easy to apply pressure while evading.
Being able to pressure while evading is something that has always been limited, either you couldnt move while doing it or the attack damage was small, now we have cancerous d/d and staff thieves who just press one button to do amazing damage while permanently avoiding it
Lmao i tip my hat to these guys, great artists they have, but f#@kin confused class designers.

You don’t. You simply die.
Yep, condi D/D Dodge daredevil. Fought one yesterday in an allied camp full of veterans and he still managed to kill everything cause couldn’t land anything. All he did was spam dodges and dagger #3, and stunbreaked my only hard cc.
Totally broken.
Dude, they ain’t gonna do anything. Everyone is tired of it indeed, roaming is boring, builds are less diverse than ever, invulnerable/evade/stealth, spam spam spam, etc
Game is a mess.
