It’s more than fair enough to purchase hair kits (permanent, or otherwise) for complicated new hairstyles, but it seems excessive to charge for an entire kit, for the right to just put one’s hair up, or down (which one can just do for free, IRL).

Especially if one has already chosen/purchased certain styles, previously.

Once you have chosen your original style and then purchased a new style (or styles), it should be more like an outfit system, IMO.

They could still charge the £80 (ideally less – it’s still far too much), for people who wanted to acquire every style (including all the new ones), I guess.

2. Yes you can buy then in different ways. I believe the inability to salvage the armour bought with Badges of Honor/Karma is an effort to maintain balance for some higher end mats as both currencies are easily accessible.

3. Ascended is needed for higher rated fractals. At level 10 agony is introduced and (apart from a couple of exotics) ascended gear is the only stuff that can take agony resistance infusions.

sPvP uses normalized gear/stats so you can take a level 2 (you’re upscaled to 80) into sPvP and still win.

Armourwise you would have been better with a Thief or Ranger (both can use main hand sword and Ranger can use greatsword as well) and a lot of the armour are long coats.

Have you tried looking at any of the outfits?

Can’t think of anything that looks like a Quinque. The ones in the pictures resemble rapiers and there are 3 rapier skins to choose from, Bonetti’s (http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Bonetti%27s_Rapier), Lovestruck (http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Lovestruck_Sword_Skin) or Lord Faren’s (no image for that sorry).

Personally Necro is a lot of fun. Especially in WvW where they really shine. In PvE they’re good in open world but some people dislike them in dungeons as they’re a pretty selfish class and the benefits they do bring (blinds, condi cleanse etc.) can generally be done better by other classes. In sPvP I believe they’re ok but I’m not overly sure.

There are plenty out there. If you make a post in the Looking For forum including details such as your time zone/server location (e.g NA or EU) and what you’re looking for then people can give you some offers.

Server’s only really matter for WvW as the Megaserver system combines all servers in a region (so EU or NA) in PvE. For RP purposes join another NA server (I’d recommend Northern Shiverpeaks – some really cool people), then fill you friends list with TC RPer’s and join an RP guild. You’re more likely to end up in friends/guild instances so you should still be able to play with the TC folks.

Got no issue with criticism. Got my own issues with the game as well (before you call me out Traits (being fixed), Storyline (being fixed), removal of WvW from map comp (not gonna be re-instated), unfriendliness of guild missions to small guilds (still doable just a pain in the kitten).)

My real issue was the way you walked into the thread and basically turned round and said “No! Your opinions and things you like about this game are wrong! The whole game is kitten!”. So that’s my issue with you. I like double fractal day as it help me to get tomes of knowledge and more pristine relics. Also helps me level up in fractals and helps me to teach newer guild members and increase their levels. Oh and before you turn round with “You can do that anyway blah blah blah” my guild has a dedicated fractal night every week (Friday night to be precise) so yes we can do that and we generally do. But it’s nice to have that extra bonus incentive to do it.

You dislike fractals and don’t want to play it. Not an issue – just don’t play it. I dislike activities and never do that daily. Never did it previously either. And I highly doubt I’m gonna do it in the future either unless they add an activity I really enjoy.

I have a GS/LB Ranger and one of my pets is a bear and the other a cat.
I have a Guardian who likes to go Mace to Face with boss mobs and also has a staff or GS depending on the fight or role.
I have a P\P Thief but he doesn’t go into dungeons but is a lot of fun to play.
I have a Scepter Elly that really likes Fire.

I have others as well. Is there a class one can take to learn how conform? Or is it best that we never ever pug and only play with those like themselves in their own guilds?

You’ve not been playing the game wrong, you’ve just not been playing it optimally. There’s the difference. You’re welcome to join my dungeon groups when I PuG and as general rule most of the the “All welcome” groups will accept you.

The issue you may have is if you do you’re not going to be fast by any means. If you’re wanting to be optimal and fast then you’ll need to look at changing up your builds and gear and the folks here are generally nice enough to point you in the right direction for that. Largely depends on how you ask :-P

No you can use the slots. Take an infusion (versatile simple infusion for example) and double click it to add it like you do with runes. Making equipment infused means you get 2 infusion slots. Yes they have an infusion slot but currently not everything with an infusion slot can be infused. For more details -

While in theory it’s not a bad idea it has one minor issue. Only back items and rings can be infused in the forge.

Only possible solution I can think of off the top of my head is to craft a new one to get the name.

no it cant, but the unhappy players are not playing or a lot of them arent, so you have a good time in game and it feels like everyone is loving it for you, enjoy, while the rest of us suffer.

How are you suffering by not playing the game? If not playing the game for a day is making you suffer then I suggest you have serious addiction issues and may want to get that checked out.

I’m pretty sure I am going to go with warrior charr in future, for now I will risk and go with elemental,since it’s the class I had much fun so far and I want to play with charr I’m a sucker for good looking feral races and charr are the closest I can get to good lizardman(yes I know charr are feline thingies). Elder Scrolls lizards are the joke.

I have a Charr Ele and I use a mix of Vigil and Seer armour. I think it looks quite cool and definitely better than the light Cultural stuff.

if you dont like complains, dont read them, its an advice on the same level of your “arguments”. They are not posted to you anyway, you are noone here.

By your own logic then neither are you. They’ve also purchased the game same as you and are entitled to voice their opinion about the game (even if it disagrees with you) in the forums.

Or put it in separate arena instances in cities (arenas like the Bane in the Black Citadel) Then people can duel all they want. People who don’t like it are not affected by it all. And people who don’t care, still don’t care. Everyone wins.
