Repair hammers should have been there since release. It can’t be right that you sometimes WANT the enemy to destroy sth that has like 1% life to be able to build a new one which does not instantly die in the case of an assault.

IMO we dont need passive speed, IMO only 1 or 2 classes should had access to that, Carl used to call guardian tanky and beefy, guardian is nothing like that, and that is the reason they dont give the speed boost, guardian is a class to hold and delay, but is not working also.
All anet has done is nerf the tactics due to forum QQing so i doubt they’d do something like this

pretty much balanced for Anet standards, that is the only way or get rekt by all the aoe spam and condis.
No worry next meta will be more condition based and with more boon removal in AOE to counter those blobs with so many boons.

What I cant stand is the fact scrappers, revenants, tempests and druids can stack tons of boons perma on their main build and guardian cant stack a single one without going for shouts build. Is so annoying that guardian was supossed to be the real support/healer class with most of boons and now you see tons of classes with better boons stacking, broken dps and better support than guardian.
Funny the class that deppends most of boon is the worst at using them…

Not 100% sure on the runes, or if I should drop the Zealous Blade for Kindled Zeal,but basicaly I would work Fiery Wrath, Virtue of Justice and Symbolic Avenger to the max.
Zeal is a pretty terrible line outside pve.

Healing warriors use it haha funny enough it heals for quite a lot with healing gear and transference sigil get regain on banner trait and you have perma regain. Sure are way better healing options on other classes but hey its there shouts do need a rework tho.
They still in better place than guardian when reaches healing power stats ~:P, i actually im moving from guard to warrior, better sustain and better damage, still sseing if ill play vanilla or berserker, since i hate being carried by condis.
On guardian Anet reduced the CD because class is very lackluster, still even that lowered CD’s didnt help, would warrior beneficieate from a shout CD that much?

They should just remove eotm because it literally has no purpose anymore the one purpose it had was which faster level up but that doesn’t happened anymore.
I think they should keep it to keep the ktrain over there instead of bringing it to WvW.
There are a lot of players in EoTM who don’t even know what WvW and can get hooked to WvW
EotM was supposed to be a place to pass your time while waiting in queue,assuming there would be a queue in all borderlands and EB.
At least that’s how I remember it was introduced to us.Indeed. Originally it was a waiting area while in queue and a testing ground for new WvW features.
EotM then evolved into its own kind of game mode and could not serve as testing ground nor a place where WvW’ers would feel comfortable to pass time.
The downfall was too high rewards for the effort. Pity EotM also yields WXP rendering WvW ranks worthless.
Was it some SFR WvW guild that went into EotM to decimate the sheepish k-trains? I guess it was a good laugh to kill entire blob in a single push. As result the opposite teams tried first to avoid the guild group and then just quit playing the map until next reset. Just shows how different the game modes are.
I don’t think WvW could ever cater for the EotM type players without turning into EotM like game mode itself.
Eotm should have never been introduced or if it there shouldn’t be any rewards or experience earned from it. Should have been a strict testing ground

Whether or not DH traps need nerfing, there are much higher priorities on the list:
1. balancing other op classes, builds and skills.
2. Buffing base guardian
3. Reworking and buffing guardian weapons (sword, hammer, mace, scepter, staff especially).
4. Rework undertuned guardian utilities and traits.
5. Probably time to refer back to #1 again.
6. Now, mayyyybe look at traps.

The groups lacked in CC, that is why they were easy to roll….

condi bomb is gimmick(not hard to pull) so is its counter, both need “fix” imo, but gw2 is very gimmick centered game, i dont see condis working besides spammable skills and i dont see resistance being nerfed that soon, they might someday nerf rune CD into 35-40 sec.

In lower levels we see strictly rotations, higher we do not. They time their skills.
Ah, yes, that is true but also it happens in every mmo to an extent that is not gw2 exclusive, by having 1 class that can fit the roles of 2 or 3 players (that is what was needed to bust a player in gw1), it required more team effort for defense and offense, wich leads to more comunication, on gw2 there are less combat variables, game is faster pace but still doesnt meant it requires more skill since as many think, you dont have that clever skil linterrupting since theres alot of spammy aoe and cleaves, skills were require management due energy and mesmers pressure burnign your energy, even weapons swap was used to hide energy to use in emergency, condis on gw1 need more clever management to burst targets and more cordenation, a thing that 1 class in gw2 can do alone, there was more variety and more tactics avaliable.
On gw2 all build resume to just on thing, burst or be bursted, a game based on power creep builds, makes the game much more easy since every one will look ok at least.
Oh and gw2 balance….. not helping, it is another charade.

I think Region is talking about guardian traps being a dumb viable solution from Anet to leech the power creep and gimmick able situations, something like ANET “fixing” guardian dps and lack of surviability with trap powercreep situations, something like that.
Power creep might have been a good direction because game is ment to be unbalanced, the removel of trinkets to avoid touch in classes, while to kill the broken sustain power creep got a bit increased with HoT, it was the best solution Anet finded to cover gw2 probelms.

Not enough people have to forge to be a problem.
There aren’t many reasons to mystic forge all of a sudden beyond siege.
wich can be replaced by a NPC :|, but would loose all other aspects of the mystic toillet.

True, but even DH is succesfully played by people that should L2P. The problem lies there.
That is what GW2 is about, it is for everyone, even those that only need a build to win and dont care much, that is why gimmicks are the way to play this game, just need to see where Anet puts the “less” effort on, every class has 1 or 2 builds that help carying the player.
So far I don’t see a compelling argument against the 2/1 BL split. I don’t agree that it will be this big disadvantage to anyone. If anything it could be an advantage if some people decide to boycott it. I know my groups will go into them and paint them with our colours… so while some of the folks are staying away and whining… we will own their land.

Some classes and some builds are forced out of higher end PvP because bunker outclasses them.
These leads to build inequality and forces you to play bunker meta instead of having more choices.
Bunker needs to be tapered down a bit so that other builds are more viable.
Some classes/builds have way too much defense.
Some specs and classes are pushed out of the game because some burst specs vastly outperform them, they have absurd amount of damage, sustain through blocks+evades for days.
Being able to completely negate dmg is called sustain also, the devs know this luckily but most players here happily think otherwise.
The idea of “glass cannon” is very skewed …something that can engage/disengage at will, chain stealth/block/evades..is not glass cannon.
Wearing a certain amulet doesn’t make you a glass cannon, the base sustain some professions enjoy atm is insane, that’s why they can afford to use a zerker amulet
Ironically |that skewed thing is what sinked gw2, and what Anet keeps forcing, and why alot of players joke about the game.
That skewed idea makes players being a bit carried w/o knowing it, works like a placebo, and makes players keep playing, GW2 is designed to carry players on metas/gimmicks since they are far easy to play than gw1 gimmicks since GW1 required better timmings and more team workforce, ATM gw2 it isnt a true players skill game, just need l2p what is to much in that skewed ANET mentality, note gw2 pvp is pve only designed classes with some sorta “controled stats” via trinkets. they might change a bit the skills but how class was designed initially is also carried to pvp, ANET should had done pvp classes to work on pve, to avoid future problems and game would be much better than this joke.
It is a way/strategy to keep players playing, they dont care about the rest.

Now that linking / population balance, scoring, rewards, & abl/dbl fixes have been put in place. What do you think the next update should be? Please let’s not argue about the previous updates here, there are threads for each of them. For me the most pressing update would be:
1. Class balance / skill balance
2. Minor updates that were previously mentioned , cross map chat & weekly rewards for winning.
@, expect balance where classes are mediocre to be nerfed, to mke some metas even more noticiable stronger and carry more players due how gimmicks are way stronger than no gimmick builds.(Anet has done this on the past so why not keep repeating same mistakes? they are good at that…).
@2. Adition of some more update that will anoy players even more spam chest that fulls your inventory when you are AFK, to avoid players quit the game.
^expecting something like this cause it is the kind of updates Anet does….

Outside the normal WvW weapons/ armor vendor we only need guild/player account and TP npc’s.

OOO I got an idea, 5 seconds of being invulnerable if use use the e-wp so you have a chance to actually load in and fight. =)
that would be easy to exploit…. even if ur invunerable and could not cast skills would not be pretty to be there….
Due how game works when invunarability ended your already on top or a thousands or red circles…
Guild that own tower/keep, should use waypoint at any time within a CD between uses when waypoint is contested, then some one that owned the keep and are allowed to that would drop a place for the emergency waypoint in a choosen place for a emergency spawn to be used by all players, and thus add a bit of tactics to the beacon, and avoid the predictable red circle spamming.

Gw2 is full of players leeching what is easy, if Anet makes stuff a little bit harder… skrits cry.
There are alot of cleaves and red circles /aoe, if Anet reduced the spamming, by making less cleaves and less aoe, maybe some more aoeish classes could get their number of targets increased, also would mean less LAG WARS…. and skills needed to be casted with more carefully instead of spam to be noob friendly gameplay…
JQ still thinks they are gods given right to Tier 1, and it’s okay to hold all of WvW hostage because they have 4 SEA guilds that refuse to move. It’s not Arena Nets fault you’ve lost all your NA guilds, again.. AND you can expect NA guilds to flock there and deal with that.
There is no problem with that, and yes WvW only needs cover and aoe spamming blobs, if a server can maintain that, yes they are good…..
PPT is all that means, gw2 isnt a player skill based either….

Good try, but none of them work, to many easy counters….. you wont be able to hold circles, and that is is build to use on 2 vs 1 situations, you wont stand a change on 1 vs 1 situation with mediocre players playing other classes (due how weak guardian is compared with the other classes possibilities).
Stick to a GS medi trap build, oonly thing viable or GS medi build super squishy, and expect to kill papers players, with a very agressive pressure from your part.
Mace is slow and takes out your mobility, guardian it is not good in surviability w/o blocks and block like f3 are easy to interrupt, even after casted, f2 goes same way.
Sword is not that good, sw3 migh destroy some range, but gets u stucked in one place and that time is eneught to put you down or in a bad place….
Shield, if ic a guardian with shield/mace all i do is place aoe condi spam and he dies easy due low surviability, slowpoke useless build.
Secpter Immob? that migh work against other guardian… or in very rare ocasions.
Rune of the guardian only works with traited retreat to burst with blocks IMO, still, builds gets u down quite fast due low escapes and class surviability, the best viable build to work with fire are skills that dont work in the practice… maybe there is some broken gimmick but will need 2 vs 1 situation at best….

actually it is easier to atack than defend, need to take into account blob composition, more aoe/range/cc the better, just keep the pressure, knwo how to coutner siege, it will be easy.
Of course with the added mortars, cannons, burning oils, ballistas, 7 arrow carts, and trebuchet with poisonous cows hitting the zerg of course. You don’t need a platinum-titanium alloyed wall to add to the equation.
Again, bad commander for what it seems… clean siege first? no?
Want to build 5 rams under a burning oil and QQ?
Want to atack PVD gate when theres a treb pointed to that door?
There are ways to counter the ac showers, dont QQ if u want to pvd gate or build a kata glued into a wall.
Balistas what?? there are several places in almost all keeps where a bali wont reach…
Yes ive seen blobs quitting t2 towers because they were bad to loose to a normal ac doing 100 damage to siege and 300 to players….. does that means t2 is to strong to?
I BET the only reason a commander has to pull from atacking a t3 is when the defense groups overwhelms in numbers, and for sure will jump or portal bomb de atackers…
But even that can be a tricky situatioin when u pretend you pull off and keep pressuring supply and yaks, by leaving a havok team behind.

Find gw2 boring cause:
- conquest mode only, it is ugly to observe so much redundancy and obvious classes.
- lack of balance towards all weapon sets
-lack of build diversity / lacks of options, must ending what Anet calls strong.
- players go arround 1 or 2 builds in 3 or 4 classes
- some classes are super useless due Anet lack of balance…
- low skill floor when using the prefered classes.
Booooring…… to watch players using gimmickly placebo class concept and call it skill.
Gw1 required much more from players and was simplier to watch/observe.
Gw2 is the joke of all pvp games.
I still watch GvG’s grom gw1…. might even return to that game…
