Play smart. Lol. You outnumber the other two servers you are playing against probably 2 to 1. You seem to have zergs on 24/7. Fortunately, NSPers have, you know, lives and we have to take a break sometime. It’s tough to defend anything when two different YB zergs are just roaming around melting anything in their paths. Trust me, we’ve tried.
Congratulations to YB for being a big fish in a small pond. You win because you outnumber us. In open world, evenly matched, we seem to consistently wipe the floor with you. So…skill…not so much. Numbers. Just numbers.

Rangers are useless in a 1v1 situation, still. Please continue to feast on the tears of the noobs while the people who don’t care about your pew pew continue to pick you off.
I lol’d. Rangers excel in 1v1. It’s anything higher than that they tend to lean towards useless in.
iv’e seen fights between thief vs ranger that were excellent fights, some players can telegraph thief movements and stealth in a very good way and with ranger evasion makes a very good combat.
yesterday i casted to protect progectiles and shielf lastes like 1 second, with the detonation animation w/o being detonated.
Atm there are several bugs and this isnt the most dangerous.
it’s not op, i tough the same at first when cough by surprise, i see this ranger as a burst sniping, looks great to sniping commanders at wvw from tower/keep

If newbies are confused by a cooking recipe, I think they have bigger issues to tackle, IMO. But Eda’s pie isn’t the only item(s) to be removed from starter areas.
The recipe would confuse and overwhelm new players, so they removed it.

Actually what title says, a request for a chat just for the server we player choose to play, no matter where players are they can talk to each other.
Megaserver splitted alot of the wvw cumunities even guilds, since they no longer hang in one place but separated in several overflows, its harder to recruit and discover new player that joined your server, and with this tool would be easy to recruit or help them.
Sorry the bad english.
boring… some servers run away when numbers on the field are similiar, but i guess this one of the game problems, everyone is an excellent player capping empty BL also.

How You Would Ruin Things?
- No AOE cap.
- End of overflows
- Reduce the number of servers and end Megaserver.
- Close EOTM and change that map to a test server for new mechanics where all characters created are auto lvl 80 with any gear since is a wvw test server.
- give thief infinite stealth but any actions/hit/failed atack would disrupt stealth
- Mesmer could store about 4 portal locations.
- Change WvW map.
- Add several tech trees to guild like an rpg game where guild had to choose with race tech they wanted.
- give more armor to guardian, so low vit builds can have better efect.
this is a few things i would do to ruin the game.

mm.. nope there is not trait that does it, only skill that we have to make it unblockable is the signet of might.
ohoo… righ tough there was a trait that made burst skills unblockable.

it is to soon to know, they just migh be tunning the game for further improvements, this lvl gate would make more sense if they introduced more utilities and more weapons as example.

In general i understand the game is now stale, PvE is dog boring. They tried a game without the trinity and its resulted in huge unbalance in the game. The game will continue to fade as other games come out.

GW2 and Arch are two complete different concepts the target population is not the same.

mace\shield isnt that bad on WvW but your role is limited to soak damage and bunker a bit (with AH), but excells when other groups decided to go on range for 2-3 seconds lol.
the effort to get out of an 1vs1 situation against thief or mesmer is really hard.

So this means eotm karma trains are full of loot, since they are leveling there for several hours, or farming FREE WXP and badges? o.O

Make party with a guardian problem solved!
Ranger if fail to kill with the burst is in deep trouble.
Mindless press button to win game.
at least your not ganked by groups of 5 thiefs in stealth spamming backstb spiking targets.
Heavy high burst builds would still melt you bunker guardian in a few seconds.
Guardian needs to be in group to be something not even closer to that passive regen, but healing triggered by AH.
Side note, that also deppends on the hostiles gear, on my guarduian i endend tanking a few melee players but i cant imagine what kind of builds they had, a good playe tears down any bunkers (warriors not included :P) .

humm, all stats very low, guardian to be good at his roles, must dedicate all for one thing and loose all others.
Imo i cant see a guardian with a condi setup…..

better rewards would atract queensdale walking bags, but by the other hand would might help revitalize wvw top, i can imagine top tiers would with an influx and probably queue and some “looters” would return to their respective server.

It will stay on target at melee range most of times, and every one know how this skills resist to melee damage.
Add games changes to mmo’s at player age of 18yo, before that is gw2 offline.
Also Chat console only opens when player makes 21yo.
Meditations are, same as before, on a good spot.

This change to the warrior in my opinion is mostly unfair and let me say that like you, I am also a warrior who was fairly open to nerfs like the HamBow one, but I believe that this one was an overkill for our profession.

Guards going meditations sacrifice alot, … guardian sacrifices alot in any role, even if going for bunker that role is also almost useless, some classes to ir better and guardian sacrifices all the damage…
If ranger got their burst on greatsword, No one would be complaining, at all.
The problem is not the damage multiplier, but the 1800 range (longbow hits clearly further than 1500 range if you have eagle eye traited). Unless you have multiple reflects, stealth or shadowsteps most professions do not have much counter play against this. Multiple rangers focus firing on one opponent will down anybody before they can close in without the use of stealth, shadow step, reflect or similar. Just dodging is avoiding only part of the rapid fire burst. LB #4 can be used to gain range and so does GS#3.
While this maybe be fun for rangers now to down the enemy warriors who were treating them like 2nd class citizens, I don’t think this is good for the game balance. The range of all long bow attacks (with eagle eye trait) should be reduced to 1500 (like it reads).
i dont mind rangers make that damage but it should be when at long range and probably higher, at close range their damage shoud be basic when with long bow.
guardian with bunker mace/shield works but not alone need like 3/4 with the same build if u want to feel some tankiness.
Those build lack power at least 2k and even with 4k armor some builds will still hit 3-5k at will, while you dont do damage, and if u dont make damage target wont back off, for keeping allies alive, well guardian alone cant achieve that and there are better classes that can spam easilly waterfiels and blast them.
side note: basically unkillable does not exist on guardian gameplay, but meditation can achieve better results due blinds and more active game play than the pseudo bunker, but as Oxalis.3084 said they dont have support utilities, med guard support with they blind and blocks.

not new influx…but better retention rate of new players they get (less people quitting game during early levels).
Yup they are “flushing/reseting” the player base.
Warrior still run cowardly if their hp drop to 50%, i dont see why RIP warrior >_>, and they still make good damage, players are just to used to the placebo game play with high damage buid = skilled player.
GW2 is suposed to be a very very casual game, actually i find the UI changes real good, but if they wanted to teach something to the players they should had an instanced zone at the begging where they could make a small help to show this important steps, i guess Queensdale first missions should work as tutorials if reworked for better understanding, also that learn to dodge, its possible for they player being KD while in dodge.
One side note: combo between classes is not new and not unique to gw2.

The feeling i am having is that gw2 is made for players that lack skills and never been good at playing mmo’s, also for children new at online gaming, this is how im starting to label gw2 players.
Commanding shield to target is a kamikaze due local melee aoe and shield dies, worth’s a aoe block then enters 1minute cooldown if shield dont die right after being casted.
Also what might happen is at the moment player commands the shield and shield make a dome at same time, command is ignored and enters in cooldown.

So spirit weapons:
1) They still suffer from built-in artificial stupidity, especially the bow and shield which have the habbit of running towards any enemy without even being able to attack them.2) Another thing about the AI – you can still execute commands and put them on cooldown without them doing anything when you have no enemy targeted (this doesn’t include the bow for obvious reasons) and even if you have, the weapons are still lazy to get into range before executing it.
3) Spirit weapons are not destroyed when commanded – good.
4) Expeditious Spirit – is a direct result of a nerf to Spirit-Weapon Mastery. Before Spirit-Weapon Mastery used to reduce cooldowns of both the spirit weapon summons and their commands, now the second part was ripped out and remade as new Master tier trait (it’s barely Master tier worthy). This looks like lack of imagination here, why didn’t they just move Improved Spirit-Weapon Duration to this place is beyond me (they may have as well left the name as it was and make it a “Spirit weapons don’t expire” trait).
5) Sword of Justice – fine, but it would be nice if the command was more like Whirling Wrath.
6) Shield of the Avenger – having a new source of aegis is nice, but it has two downsides:
- you can’t use the command without an enemy in target (see #2)
- the effect is delayed because of the shield travel time which limits its on-demand/just-in-time defence7) Bow of Truth – finally something good for the bow, well except for the part where the 1200 range is relative to you and not the bow.
My conclusion is that Spirit Weapons are still highly clunky and very stressful to use in any part of the game. This patch barely scratched that what is inherently wrong with Spirit Weapons.

Actually I would not mind Xivor maybe they could like the server at all, our 17 “pug blobs” max 30 players on my late Euro time seams to scary many … even when outmaned fade in and out, other servers need to full stack or wait for dead hour

Actually we might have less wvw’s than top bronze servers, servers actually tanking mostly, we dont.

To Anet:
Shield of the Avenger
This spirit weapon is no longer destroyed when the Command skill is used.
In addition to striking and bouncing to enemies, this ability will now bounce to allies when the Command skill is used, granting them aegis.
What really happens is: player sends shield to melee range of the target with the command , and shield stays there right next to the target , target kills shield with one hit.
The changes on Spirit weapons are still lacking not offering the investment on them.
The traits that needed to get spirits full traited, i dont even understand.

Man, that mini-pet change is so exciting and relevant.
Specially in WvW where pets will clearly dominates lower tiers.
or thiefs run in stealth mode with mini pet active… so pro.
If there becomes an over-abundance of guardians.
everyone will re-roll Mesmer.
i tough we were already on that state since release o_O
every day i see several new guardians while semi-afk on queensdale or preparing foods for wvw (i use queensdale TP :P).
A brainstorm thread?
-End WvW map, make one global with several BL like a Tyria map each BL was the part in tyria that correspond to that server name, as example northern shiverpeaks will be in the north part of the shiverpeaks with gale storms slowing down enemies each map could have is own buff/unbuff.
Each 5-7 days a chest would spawn in the keep/castle with some rare stuff. presecursors inclueded.
It would be a fun way to bring war back to tyria, making WvW a pve/pk enviroment with castle siege and conquering map for your guild/faction.
-movable siege
-end of siege tower to keep, one of the best joke in mmo combat mechanics.
-make walls sturdier a few guild catas can take maxed walls in few seconds.
-improve game to be an actual challange and not promoting the easy playing placebo to stuck player on game and pretend he is good.
WvW is suposed to be casual for pve players as a intro for pvp (pvp map with friendly pve)
After watch this oldie video i think wvw is where Anet wanted it, players just want the game to envolve more than that, after playing another games i cant play gw2 as i only see graphics and low features at is actual state, reason i tend to dispite theme park mmo-s.
