Anet I WANT MY MONEY BACK or the remaining 12 dyes.
Plenty of decent suggestions of things to check out above.
If you have exhausted all of them and still haven’t received either the items or partial sale money back, please create a support ticket detailing as much as you can.
While sometimes we can deal with individual cases via the forums, for the most part (especially with things like this) it is not something we can just fix by looking at the forum post.
I hopefully you get this sorted

I have 3 charges on my Paypal, (59.99, 79.99, and 79.99) which I did not authorize. The source is NC Interactive, Inc. I have not purchased anything from NCSoft with my Paypal, ever. I opened a claim with Paypal to dispute them, so now where do I go from here? I don’t have an account on ncsoft.com, just here on guildwars2.com.

We are aware of the crash in WvW and are actively working on fix. We appreciate your patience as we work get this issue resolved as quickly as possible.
The email blast that went out earlier is quite correct. Due to differences with timezones the event starts past midnight (this evening) for European players, the event starts worldwide at the same time. Obviously this means that it will run until the 2nd of November (again due to timezone differences).
Hello guys i was thinkin about another classes, my idea was like a monk. very cool i think. please Share ure ideas!

Here are the patch notes for today’s game update:
General
You are now able to log in to https://account.guildwars2.com/ and download the Mac OSX client for Guild Wars 2
I am playing it ! And despite the performance decrease! It works like a charm!
And I am on a mid 2009 manually upgraded MBP 15" Highest spec at the time…lol not that it ran so great in windows either.. but at least I could software overclock there easily.
Work in progress, I will open a "this is my spec’ thread/sticky later so we can gather some info on performance
We’ll be opening up a Mac Tech Support forum a little later today, but for those of you that are about to have a test please remember that it is a beta client – things may be a little buggy
In my experience with other MMOs and their notorious forums, its’ oftentimes the playerbase (but moreso, a handful of regular forum-goers) that ends up becoming belligerent or outright rude to any changes or have this incredible sense of “I speak for everyone, and if the devs don’t listen to me, the game is doomed!” that can cause developers themselves to not want to say anything as it will either become misconstrued or twisted around. I have not seen this not happen, no matter the game.
In a case such as this, I didn’t see the original thread regarding the fixes to the dungeons, but it almost seemed like it was another case of players not being happy that the tricks (read: exploits) were removed, and with only one person’s word against another, saying that it was always legit so why change it… if the runs that were done legit, then where is the issue? If it is a case of the rewards being too low, mention that. If the difficulty was swung too far one way or the other, say so. But don’t focus in on the fixes that were made that were used to bypass content and call it the worst change in the world.
The community is new yet, but with every new game that I have followed for the last 5 years or so, the cesspool of negativity and arguementativeness on the forums has become worse as it goes.. and I haven’t the slightest idea who to blame, or in this case, feel sorry for.
TL;DR: Give the devs some time to find their legs, and stop trying to focus on the exploit corrections as the only thing wrong with the change. Exploits have never been openly discussed, and trying to make any new game buck the trend will lead to disappointment. Going back to lurking, as I know this will simply get tossed aside, as I disagreed with someone.
This is the best course that can be taken, we have always valued our players feedback regarding all aspects of the game. There are plenty of developers, designers, artists etc reading and posting on these forums – though most will generally stick to their area of expertise, they are sat there waiting for you (all our players) to talk to them, tell them what they think is right and how they would/should change those things that niggle to be better!
This is the stuff that turns into bad press real fast. And if you haven’t learned it already, MMO players are the most fickle and finicky game players. You have a small window to impress with your service. It doesn’t matter one bit how beautiful your world is, how compelling your combat is, or how immersive and fun your game experience is. If your communication with players is lacking, if your communication with players is hostile, if your players do not trust or even worse if they are afraid to play your game for fear of being labelled exploiter or cheater… nobody is going to play it.
I’m sorry if my original response seemed to brand those that may have benefited from these as cheaters or exploiters, it was not intended to be read that way.
Two things:
You originally gave me an infraction for this:
Moderator Notes:
Please do not make posts that contest the actions of a moderator. If you feel any action taken by a moderator was inappropriate, send an e-mail to forum@arena.net and the issue will be looked into.
Now you are changing it to giving me an infraction because I had two words capitalized for emphasis in a multi-paragraph post?
I will have the infraction reversed.
We should have a discussion about where you want dungeons to be and there should be a negotiation about what we want dungeons to be, but we can’t have that conversation and we won’t have that conversation if you are going to accuse every player getting any kind of consistent reward from your dungeons an exploiter and then shutting the discussion down.
I would have left the thread open had I seen any merit to the discussion that it started, ultimately I should have made it clearer from the get go.
As you well know by now we do not allow discussion of exploits on these forums for good reason (see this blog post Guild Wars 2 Economy) as discussion of them ends up advertising them to a larger chunk of the playerbase. We don’t want this as we would prefer never to have to ban players (see the end of that blog post) to that extent again.
You will find that there are exploits that we don’t talk about, we won’t advertise through patch notes that they have been fixed in most cases.
By all means discuss the time / reward side of running explorable dungeons and how the changes applied last night may have affected your game experience!

For issues pertaining to the forums we have a crack team of Moderators and Community Staff that manage them. We review all reports and act on the accordingly, but let me remind you that just posting “Reported” as a response to a thread is against our rules of conduct. All we ask is that you report a post to us and we will deal with it
If you wish to report a post, use the Report Post button located on the post in question. Please, do not create a new forum thread linking to posts or threads that you feel should be moderated. Reported posts will be reviewed by the moderator staff and addressed as necessary.
edit: The same goes for reporting players in game. We have GM’s monitoring the reports we get from players in game and they respond to them quite quickly, be aware that we check each and every report to make sure the system is not being abused and those that do so will be dealt with accordingly.
If you believe you are being victimised in game please contact our support team to report the issue (this can be done in game with the “abusive behaviour” report)!

There were certain things that could be done (and were being done) in both CM and CoF that were not intended to be possible (read: exploits), we fixed them.

Btw , regarding your move to England , you might have to buy an European version of the game to play it . Somehow they said theyre looking into it for those who frequently travelaround.
There is no need to purchase a 2nd copy of the game if you are moving continent or you travel frequently.
As this was created purely to illicit a sour response I am closing it.
Do not submit “trolling” posts or threads. We define “trolling” as commenting in a manner intended to elicit overly strong negative and emotional responses for mere shock value, attempting to derail threads, persistently posting off-topic, or engaging in personal attacks on another forum member. Accounts made with the sole intent to “troll” will be terminated.
For now I have been reporting gold sellers in chat as “botting” and from in-game mails as “spamming”, but both do not really describe the reason why I want to report these persons. I would like to suggest the option “gold seller/power leveling service” to both chat report and ingame mail report. Thanks a lot!
You need only report them as “Spamming”, this will have the desired effect, our GM’s that are live monitoring those reports will deal with them just as quickly
I’m just curious if there have been any news regarding the Tablet-Apps that were mentioned 2 years ago:
(( I guess they don’t have high priority ATM but it would be nice to hear if they still plan to release them someday or not, etc. ))
It is definitely something our teams would like to put time and effort in to, but currently our main priority, post release, is to make sure that the game is fun and accessible to all.
Please feel free to add a suggestion to the following thread:

There is a vote system in place to remove players from parties, while I know that it may not be a nice experience to have this happen to you. Feel free to contact support if you feel you are being victimised.

The game is epic i like it no doubt but i still fell like there is alot fo stuff done wrong. Its either flame legion, sons of svanir, bandits or the risen (especialy risen) throught the entire game (i dont mean literally but still its pretty much these 4). Story is not good in a way that everything is left on a clifhanger and you just jump in a new story chain without real conclusion. Tybalt dies in a cheesy way and traherne is just boring and not as good as Tybalt. The “epic” Zhaitan fight was dissapointing. The pve and questing is an improvement but the boss tactics are pew pew and watch for the thing so it doesnt get you. world dragon bosses are epic for the first two times later on not so much due to standard mmo mechanics we see in all mmos. Questng is an improvement but Colins “Hey i swung a sword again” quote as much as he didnt want people to say that its still there. The questing is still collect 10 bearkitten but it doesnt tell you you have to collect 10 bearkitten and you get 2 more quest inside that one hear to complete but its stil the same. 9/10 for gw2 i still find it the best yet but it doesnt beat wow or tor one a some points. It should have been a p2p game so the devs would focus even more.
edit: underwater combat is boring and uninspiring like the rest of the game. Mostly due to scumbag mobs in later areas.
Remember to use the [Spoiler] tag if / when you talk about plot or story, this will help those that may not want to know

I’m having a very frustrating problem. In April I purchased the Pre-Purchase CE from an official ANet partner in the Netherlands (Bol.com). I received my initial registration key with no problem, played in the Beta, started on the first day of the head start and played just fine during the “grace” period.
On the 27th Bol notified me by e-mail that they were shipping my CE to the PostNL delivery service and they gave me a track and trace code to track shipment. It was stated to be delivered to me on the 28th. Each morning the delivery date was pushed back a day. According to Bol.com policy I should allow up to three working days after receiving the shipping notification to have the package arrive. It didn’t, so on Friday I contacted them. On Saturday morning the delivery date was set to unknown and Bol.com told me in the evening to “be patient” (while I waited for the three days) and contact them again if I hadn’t received anything on Monday 3rd. Nothing came, delivery status was unknown. Bol replied the next day that they consider my package lost and don’t think it will ever turn up or be delivered and the refund process was started. I contacted PostNL that same morning. They called me within the hour and informed me that they only had received a notification from Bol that a package was going to be handed over to them but it never arrived according to their logs. As the recipient, they can’t do anything for me, only Bol could try something, but they already have given up on it.
So now I sit with my Guild Wars 2 account, with my Pre-purchase AND CE in-game items and my original Guild Wars account linked (50/50 HoM points) and I can’t use it anymore. It appears that GameMania still has regular CE’s in stock (Bol doesn’t offer them and you might understand that I’m not very keen ordering something big there in the near future). My question is…could I buy a regular CE and apply that serial code to my current account and start playing again with my account? Or does my account expect a special serial code belonging to a PP CE? If the latter is the case, can something be done? I don’t want to loose my account. I had paid for the pre-purchase CE because I wanted the whole set of extra things. Not to mention all my HoM achievements are there.
EDIT: I first contacted support about this on Saturday 1st when I started fearing it would turn out into this (but still hoping my package was only being delayed and asking if it were possible to extent the “grace” period). I haven’t received any answer so far. I updated my status with the news of yesterday. But I realise support is swamped and I’m having some time-critical things…if I can go out and buy a new CE, I want to do that ASAP because I fear soon they will be unavailable, or only for outrageous prices on Ebay (and I’m not keen on buying it over the Internet anymore).
Yes you can purchase a “replacement” Collector’s Edition and apply the code (in the box) to your prepurchase account. Sorry to hear about the issues you had with delivery and I’m glad it has been fixed
It is just a faulty bit on code on the error message display, although PA I would consider contacting support (if I were you) and getting your name dealt with
