yeah i loved what they did with the living story and i definitely loved this dungeon, i don’t know why bother to create something so fun to do only temporarily though, i really wish this dungeon can stay or maybe fractalised?
i loved to do it, mobs weren’t overhealth powered, but still needed to be understood to fight properly, i loved the final bosses…
i hope i’ll have that jetpack…

i almost never do cof because i don’t like skipping mobs, so i get money with pure force of luck and magic find doing penitent/shelter event

can be possible to have them fully visible also for light armor wearer? if you happen to be a male character (so not wearing a bikini) wearing a chest with long sleeves you can only see the hand part of the gauntlet.

and it is sad, ugly and upsetting because every time only heavy armor wearer and female character get all the love.

i guess same goes with medium armor since they only wear trenchcoats

what about the fact that even if you run a t1 bounty you may happen to have a champion to fight in an high level map, like teeza… it always leave behind low level guildies.
why can’t we chose the lv range of targets at least?
we made 2 guild bounties and 1 guild training and we happen to have 2 times (in guild bounty of course kimali the half kitten! second time we knew what to do, stop attacking strip boons and pull…
we pull a lot, but she stayed perfectly safe in her fire shield. seconds later she had again her stability because of the pull. so you cant use a pull that is also an attack…
we managed to get her out of the shield once, and seconds later she had it again on…

at this point i don’t even care if i have to catch the skin again for a different toon as long as i have a place where to put those skins. same goes for weapons. what do i do with my final rest once i’ll got bifrost, what do i do with Imryldeen since i got final rest? i carry them all with me? can i have a place to hold them for when i feel nostalgic? and don’t tell me to use bank slots since it is already full of fractal coins, dungeon tokens, not yet used gifts, mats in overstacks, basic useless transmutation stones, even more useless mystery tonics, badges of honor, unidentified dies, crafting boosters and karma that drops from everywhere and i don’t use because i’ll never know on which character do i need the most. and i don’t want to use alts as mules.

please please please give me something like pvp locker or hall of monuments vendor

yeah sure, never get killed in queensdale since i’m lv 30 btw, and now that i’m lv 80 in exotic i can solo champions there. me and a friend killed the jungle wurm in 2 back when the event wasn’t farmed.
i still like the lv scaling since it would be useless for me to be in queensdale at all if i oneshot everything and don’t get nothing in return.

i agree that hearts are the same content over and over in different skins, the only connection they have is to the environment and the general setting (we are all worried that elder dragons will strip us out of this world or even worse corrupt us unless you are a happy sylvari).
it would be a little better at least if people in your party could contribute to finish the requirements as in dynamic events and if they would be a little meaningful, just like dynamic events

And let’s just face it, the Asura are basically just the gnomes of other games with a different name and skin. And that skin is just a weird alien-looking creature that most people didn’t care for from the beginning.

Asura should have been Gnomes
Charr should have been Ogres
Sylvari should have been Elves

Do that and they would have had a much better shot of this game being a mainstream blockbuster like WoW.

First priority should be making playable characters that appeal to the most people out there. The lore can always be changed.

the fractal are very easy if you know what to do, if you have no idea on how to run it, how to do things even the swamp level can become a nightmare.
if you can do teachrun of fractals it is the best dungeon i played in this game, or at least for my taste.

that’s probably the reason why we don’t see charrs in game, they are almost extinct since they are ugly tauren or whatever.

sylvari lore is very similar to fairy lore in our legends, all this nightmare court and the dreaming and the leafs and the winged cultural armor, and all this genderless love, the wylde hunt etc etc. they have nothing in common with elves just as their maker (tolkjen) pictured them, they just happen to like to live in the forest (though elves have buildings while sylvari have seed like buildings provided by their own mother).

the fact that the moot exist though is prove of the great sense of humor of both devs and players who have it!

i still don’t get it why is ok to have each other collide in the same spot forming ugly mutants at every single waypoint or the fact that i can run through mobs and players, and i should quit the game for a clipping cape

it is in a low level area where bunch of newbies get their experience there is nothing bad with easy content, once we are tired of farming it the newbie will be left with some challenging content that no one want to do anymore like every temple in orr.

i blame the charr for not having capes

i know of the “solution” but they already stated it is not how transmutation stones are intended to be used and i don’t want to be marked as exploiter once they decide this is an issue to be solved

about poison it last forever and by the time you remove or redirect it you are poisoned again.
i don’t know why people kitten abut easy content all the time, what’s wrong in a dungeon easy to run since it should be designed for lv 35 toons at best?

i tryed to run that dungeon with guildies, path1. 3 of us lv 80 the other 2 lv 45 and 56 and we failed miserably over and over again at the protect hodgins part right after the spider. and we skipped the leutenant and we were lucky enough not to find the troll (never had issue before and easily done with all lv 80) is that funny because it became impossible to do it if you are not 80 in exotic? i don’t think so, i think it’s just not fair and it’s really not ok as lily allen pointed out in a famous song about it ^^

if only max level would be 30 you wouldn’t have gated maps and gated istances.
the progression from 30 to 80 is utterly boring and meaningless.
in fact we are downscaled pretty much everywhere. instead of being so only in the maps near major cities.
don’t get me wrong, i like the scaling feature it makes me play wherever i like and i’m happy about it.

i did it to with my mesmer mask i tought when i was new to the game that i could get same skin with better stats in the future… who could have figured it was unique?

i wish they could create something for other classes back, the books are nice but too big except on asura. backpack are just that… backpack.
we are left with the fractal capacitor and a lot of other invisible items like spineguards

what you can’t eat food or drink potion anymore in dungeons?

i’m not saying that is necessary since the potions and food have this long duration, but it would be just way easier, the food sit there and when you have to use it just press the key.
you now you don’t need anything but your feet to move from A to B but still we invented the wheel because it is much easier

i should probably shut up since i’m not a necro, or at least a not esperienced one.
but also other classes have slow summoning. for example the weapon summoned by an elementalist it take for ever to finish and if you kyte while doing the casting is interrupted.

yeah i know it makes perfect sense. how awesome would be to have final rest or deathwish just to nominate 2 staves with nice particle effect? or upgradeble to have it?

i agree with quick buttons for consumable.
prefer the heart for the above mentioned reasons.
no need for a quest journal since there is no quest in the game. maybe personal story line made optional would be nice.
the text boss for world event i find it very useful. and btw i look often in the middle of the screen, not in the upper right corner, so i don’t know what the problem is there. resizing ui may help

all these points are interesting but whenever i fight a boss that require coordination and not direct attack i get bored to death. have you ever killed the ice elemntal or the mining suit in the dredge fractals? now tell me about how fun it is not being able to kill him normally

i love the idea, i would also love of getting some lore right in my hero journal whenever i discover a new POI.
the first time i got to a POI i was utterly disappointed that nothing special happened but for a nice place to see.
vista and skill points i can get it (beautiful landscape and place of powers or challenge). but POIs?

Create asuran character, do zone one, bank bubbles, delete character, repeat.

The 2 bubbles are once per chest per day per character. Continuously creating new characters will get you an infinite supply of bubbles.

this doesn’t sound right at all though, despite the fact they didn’t say anything about

i also would like that pvp style would not define the whole game.

playing a mesmer requires a lot of skill.

there are only few champions that me and my boyfriend guardian can’t take down.
this often due to guardian less mobility than other classes, but still i feel safe and stronger in a duet with a guardian! it really works well for me.
needless to say sometimes i love to troll him with my #5 gs skill after he pulled all the mobs to him for his #2 gs skill. it is just to hilarious!!!

Vayne why should you even explain how you spend your time?
same logic can be applied to them, if they are here to complain in the forum what they are complaining about since they are not playing the game?
they trolled you because you like the game and you dare not to find the ranger profession useless while playing the best class in every mmo in the world that is the mesmer. if they like the mesmer so much they should play one (i would like see them leveling it properly with no crafting, learning the skills and the timing and just laugh once they discover that is not an easy class to play as they claim especially when they are stomped in wvw) and start to enjoy the game too or a warrior for that matters (i could die of boredom playing a warrior).

that said i love fotm too, while i generally avoid other dungeons unless i can run it with my guild with no elitism over classes or gears. once i have my gift of zhaitan i’ll probably won’t bother anymore with dungeons ever!

i agree that living story was slow paced but i liked the new istances very much and you don’t even need to be in a party of 5 to run them, it was refreshing and fun.
i wait to see more… am i waiting too much? maybe but who cares? i can do something else in the meanwhile

just 1 question:
why everyone states they don’t bother with legendary grind, legendary rng, legendary effort, legendary credit cards, but they always open and answer to thread like this?
so OP if you don’t find legendary weapons appealing as it is (and btw they are obtainable in game and you need account bound crafting material to make them and the only karma, fractal, laurels mats you can buy are the obsidian shards, all the rest you can acquire doing everything else in the game that gives you mats or money to buy mats), why bother players that are putting their efforts there and they may also enjoy the process to do it?

and what’s with this it should be difficoult to get? what does it means difficoult? acquaring all stack of all high mats in the game is difficoult, or are you asking for a boss killing that is difficoult only on paper? or maybe it’s a lame excuse to add raids in the game? or maybe a scavenger hunt that means just type it in google search?

you know what? i prefer to buy precursor with gold or by rng at least it can be done by myself and it’s not easy at all!

but the bifrost it’s not light, it’s rainbow, the opposite version should be not dark, but gray?
