New stat combinations?
Ferocity? Oh I don’t mind that. I just wish that in general when they Nerf a line they should give you a way to change your expensive armor that you worded so hard for. And Razer does not seem happy, thus my post.

The thing that bothers me us that Razor spends a fortune on full ascended zerker gear to have it nerfed.
Which makes us poorer players want to never want to upgrade. His point to reset gear that was nerfed is not so far fetched. Not that I support ferocity gear, but a chance to reset would make me want to excel and get the better stuff. Which means play more.

Note they have reset armor in the past so what would be the problem?

I have characters spaced all over the world many places do not have easy access to a bank and SoS WvW can get busy when I play.

I did buy the air ship but that will not send you back to where you were, so it is a pain plus again only on one character at a time.

I have played other game where you can mail yourself and it works great. I am not sure why your mail is so clogged up. But I would really like that feature as it takes so much load time to transfer things around form one character to another when neither is at a town.
Again maybe not mail, but say every character has a joint 5 slot storage.

Sounds like an amazing contest, but shouldn’t we just apply here, and have you just in game mail any prizes out?

Other wise you get our character names and linked email accounts. Two security parts of our account

Anet sells some wonderful Account Bound items. But it can be very annoying to have to take many steps to transfer these items from one character to another.

I would like to be able to mail such items to myself or have common storage space that any character can access anytime from any location.

Want use that cool musical instrument or dance book while waiting for an event?
Have that set of gathering tool on the wrong character?
Just crafted a new weapon?

Now just send it to yourself!

I was looking into crafting Ascended Armor and weapons (long range goal)

Current Exotic Armor (helm example):
Defense: 97
45 Power
32 Vitality
32 Ferocity

Ascended:
Defense: 102
47 Power
34 Vitality
34 Ferocity

Same question goes for Weapons. Is it really work the gold to go Ascended?

GW1: Raiment of the Lich outfit for Halloween!!!!

I work as a fashion photographer so looks are important to me. In general I like many of the GW1 fashions much more than GW2 ( at least for female outfits).
It seems like GW2 makes more unisex outfits where GW1 seem to have a similar outfit but generally modeled for the sex of the character. There are exceptions of course.

One outfit that I really miss form GW1 is the “Raiment of the Lich”

Just thinking… If this where a very expensive rune then it seems like the new cool wardrobe and Transmutation Crystals have a DARK SIDE.

I have an exotic Soldier’s coat with a rune of Balthazar on it. I bought a new Berserker’s coat since I changed my build but how do I move the Superior Rune of Balthazar over to the new coat? Before the update it was just a simple Transmutation Stone which got coveted to Charges.

I know a lot of people are upset with some of the changes, but try and understand the reasons from the developer point of view and allow for some things to be readjusted as necessary.

some of the changes that people aren’t liking will possibly be further tweaked with hotfixes, just give it time.

The best you all can do is provide calm and detailed feedback like some have already been doing. It is possible that they had overlooked some things and all of you will do a better job at finding the issues than a small team would be able to.

Anet nerfed my characters into the dirt today by taking away almost all Traits my characters had earned. I am not a good enough Player to reach level 80. That’s right, I am not good enough at this game… but I love parts of GW2 enough that I had kept the game installed so I could return one day.
Well today I log in and my highest character, lvl 51 ELE has four traits out of the over 15 he used to have. FOUR. I was having a hard enough time as it is.

Anet doesn’t want People like me playing their MMO. Anet must want the Players that can breeze through leveling content to 80, which I admit I have had a hard time doing. Without those traits, and the benefits I each of my characters got from them, the game is now beyond my abilities.

These changes were great for the gazillion lvl 80s, but not good for Players that have a hard time with this game. Anet decided whom their preferred customers are and I am not on the list.

I am not rage quitting, I just realize I don’t belong here and there is no sense in holding out hope I might play GW2 again.

My question is my PVE armor has a higher Defense then from the PVP armor guy , so Does the defense matter?

Also are the PVP white weapons just as good as an exotic PVE weapons?

Finally is the amulet rune and armor rune combined into the amulet? There used to be runes for both.

I thought I would not like the tonics, but…

Now I hate them. You can even dye them. Talk about going from bad to worst. I was hoping at least the shorts would turn in to armor skins but now they added a really bad top to them!

I had bought so many towns clothes I can not remember if I bought the Devil Horns or got them though an event. I think they were bought, but I seem to have too many of them! LOL

Whether they are too expensive is a good question, but the loot from chests is horrible. I bought a few and learned my lesson.

I liked how in GW1 all patches came out Noon PST

I sympathize with you Sarathiel, that nearly happened to us. But an aware guild member caugnt a chat about him ripping off another guild. So we stopped him before any damage was done.

Your equipped PvP will be replaced with PvE armor. If you want your original look back, you will have to use the charges provided to apply it to your pve armor.

Is this true? Can you confirm tbe source?

If so the the 5 crystals Anet will be giving us will not even cover one of my six PVP characters?

I have 12 character slots, and have made screen caps of each:

1: The Hero screen to compare Crit and Crti Dammage since that will go away.

2: PVE/WVW Build Traits

3: PVP Build Traits

I have done the champ runs a few times every day to squeeze gold,karma, and ramp up Luck

I also have been mapping like a crazy person just in case we no longer get Transmutations from mapping other than cities.

Finally been crying in the forum about how much I am going to miss my mix and match towns clothes.

I am happy we are getting the wardrobe. And for all those that are befitting from it I am thrilled for you. I really am. But I can not figure out why you have no sympathy for those of us that are getting screwed out of something we enjoy.

Sure I can farm for a ton of Transmutation Charges for the next month, sure I can send back my broken tonics. But some of us are losing part of the game that we really like and some of you do not get that or do not care because it does not effect you.

Anet is take away part of the game some of us love, and not in the slightest way coming near to compensating us. We are very happy that you are getting tings you want, and all I say is just give us a little support.

When I first posted this thread, the reaction should have been. Feel sorry for you, but hope you work it out. Not suck it up and live with it or buy and extra slot and farm in stead in playing.

I have no idea why you’re talking about town clothes when they’re being taken away anyway. You’ll get tonics. Only head slot town clothes will even be relevant to charges.

I’ll tell you what. All of my town clothes that is converted to tonics will be refunded.

you might think you got your gems back but what really happens is that you lost what you bought, they just return what you spend on them.

Sorry town clothes were never customizable enough to be anything other than a gimmick. Customization is armor. Infinitely more choices there.

I will be asking for refunds because tonics are junk. Though refunds do not solve the problem. We still need to make new stuff and now since we lost the town clothes tab it cost is more storage space.

You can ask for a refund for the tonics but this will still cost a fortune to make other town clothes to take their place.

Look you seem to have no clue on what is going on here with towns clothes. Or care how much this will cost me in time to repair.

I will try and explain this one last time, since you do not use mix and match towns clothes or Role play here.

Tonics are junk. You can not mix and match with them. Anet screwed up when they made certain town clothes, and now we are suck with tonics. They will be sent back for a refund.

So I am now stuck with making all new outfits from the remnants of some skins on different characters that I bought. All of this will take a huge amount of Transmutation Charges for all of my 12 character to get a new sets of role play outfits.

Please stop looking at this from your perspective only, and how little it will effect you. And think how much time, and expense it will effect others!

I only do change horrid looking armor pieces as I level to 80. Armor changes way too fast to keep transmuting it.

Though while you will get a Transmutation Charge for mapping a city, there is no official word on if you will get any for mapping a wildness area.

Again my real point is how much will this cost me me to remake all my role play and what I used to have with mix and match towns clothes that Anet will be taking away!

Perfect time to get back. everything changes tomorrow. So we all will be noobs again. especially with builds.

12 characters are a lot when you add in town clothes that Anet really screwed up.

If you don’t role play or have lot of costumes then you are fine. But they are taking away a lot of mix and match outfits that I will need to fix or find new ways to make again.

This could be more expensive than you think, and I am not sure if suggesting that extra Charges be added for people that bought more slots which supported Anet is out of line.

If you do not role play or have lots of towns clothes this will not be a big deal. But for those that do it could get mega expensive.

If you’ve not reached the 12k mark yet, you’ve got many, many more months of being able to do all the dailies possible.

I’ve a little over 13k points and I’m not even to the halfway point of 10k daily APs.

This is what confuses me. if you are at 13K haven’t you exceeded 10k daily APs?

but it wold be even better if we got a few extra charge per extra slot bought. This will cost a fortune to redress all my extra characters. Especially so if they have to be fully redressed.

I don’t know a single game that people can play every single day for years and still have fun.

We do. Played with my guild for 3 years in GW1 and now GW2. EVERY NIGHT 9-Minnight eastern.

The secret? It’s not the game it is friends chatting as we just spend time together. We know birthdays, real names, and some of us met in RL. I just went to a comic con yesterday with a guild member that drove in two and a half hours from out of town.

We also have voice, and every new member is surprised how friendly we are and take time to learn about them. The real person.

I also had lunch with a guild member from Jamaica, that chose to go to college near where I live. and we have done RL activities a few times now.

So play everyday and not get tired of it? No way!

But it “seems” that in the above post Curtis Johnson says: “earned as part of map completes” doesn’t that mean area maps as well as towns?

I have 11,700 Achievement points. After the April 15th update cap what will happen to the points? Will I be rounded down to 10,000? Or just get the achievement, and all the points I have accumulated continue to the next chest (at a slower rate)?

Someone mentioned (off topic) in another thread that you will get one Transmutation Charges for mapping a town, but hinted that you will not recieve any for mapping a land map. Can anyone confirm that?

I have been wanting a build save since day 1. Should not be too really.
Plus now that you will be able to switch builds for free, build saves will become even more desirable.

I can play just about any PVE area solo and hardly every die. Now to be honest I am just an average, and maybe below average player.
With tha in mind I am wondering if it may be your build or perhaps need a tactics adjustment?

Either way you are more than welcome to come to the Sea of Sorrows server 9-Midnight (Eastern Daylight Time -5) any night and I would be happy to help you out. We have voice and can talk you though your problem.

Crafting food is the worst at high levels. Even at max level I only craft low level foods because of the time it takes. I could do a full event and be making money by the time it takes to craft the higest level pizza.

One would think at such a high level you might get a short cut or at least a su chief to help :-)

Temporary fix. I changed my sound from 5.1 to stereo

I just bought the drum, and when I could not hear it, so I tried my flute and it was silent too.

Checking my settings:
Game Menu/Options/Sound options/
I played with the Player Instrument Volume, and still can not hear musical instruments.

I hear game music, voices, ambient sounds, NPC talk, and weapon sounds just fine.

Note: I do hear the sound effect when I start the drum, but not the drum sound when I try to play. So any clue why my musical instruments are silent?

Update: I can hear the drum if I re-route GW though head phones, and restart the program. Even stranger!

I have characters, lots of them. One reason that I do not buy certain item like airship passes, or more musical instruments is that they just get stuck on one character. Hence they don’t get used.

What would cure the problem would be a 6 slot Common Storage Slot that can be accessed from any character anytime on your account.

Would be great when one character crafted for another, or items like my flute to share when waiting for a dragon. I think it would be game changing.

Many other game let you mail to yourself, but the CSS would be the next generation of convince.
