It’s definitely a slow class. I often use have to use retreat when not in a group or use the aforementioned traveler runes but that’s annoying for different reasons.

Guardians have it the worst with no 25% movement speed in either traits or signets. The only access to swiftness a guardian has are tied to defensive builds through shouts and staff. With zero access to any swiftness, offensive builds are limited to using traveler runes on most builds.

Mesmers are a close second.

Guardians have it better than mesmers. They can run a staff, and have two skills that buff speed.

I can keep up with a zerg far easier on my guardian than on my mesmer.

That is in reference to roaming meditation builds that don’t use a staff. In zergs, swiftness is guaranteed, so naturally guardians will pull ahead with their leaps. In smaller groups a single support guardian can give permaswiftness with retreat if traited for shout/staff cooldown and 20% boon duration but that really limits their options.

On the other hand, they don’t have a space for a speed signet anyways…

Nothing, because just because a skill exists, doesn’t mean every class should have it. Guardians, rangers, eles, and warriors have a signet that increases armor but it doesn’t mean every one should have it.

Every class has ways of improving movement, but it doesn’t have to be through a signet. Thieves and rangers are supposed to be highly mobile, and actually cannot attain permaswiftness on their own unless with specific builds.

Necromancers have terrible mobility, and even with perma swiftness, they have no movement skills that are faster than walking, therefore Signet of the Locust is rightfully deserved— not to mention with a terrible active that makes it a clear sacrifice.

It would be horrifically redundant in warriors/engies.

The only class worthy of the signet is the Guardian, although they have retreat which is apparently as far as Anet wants with them.

Go underwater where their stealth is crippled. :/ If they want to make my life miserable, I intend to send them into the hell of underwater combat.

In all seriousness I don’t; best I can do is not lose and they realize what a bore they are. Don’t use purity though; that passive condi clear every 10 seconds doesn’t really make a difference. You care about clearing bursts of condis, not just clearing that occasional stack of bleed. You want to take all 3 medi traits to get enough pressure to at least threaten them and purity is just not worth it.

Thanks. A BAD habit of mine throughout all game modes is that I auto-explode the turret after the water field without remembering you can pick it up, even when I was told that simply picking it up would yield more condi removal. That’s just something I have to think about.

As for crate. It’s definitely powerful and I try not to use that in 1v1s unless it’s clear I can’t do anything. I was also wondering about say a scenario where you are going to a point and a thief/warrior combo comes to you. Is it worth engaging them with crate and stall until help arrives, or is me dying and using up the crate just not worth it? Assuming this is a losing fight.

Also, it would seem you get a lot of points by simply decapping points or reviving allies.

Hmm, nice info here as I’m doing a little pvp (yay profession dailies! Don’t kill me!)

Just some Qs:
— The way I understand, I really shouldn’t be defending a point because engis don’t really have stab and all that jazz. So what should happen if I’m the only one near a point and some d/d ele comes and starts crapping up the point with that fire field while chasing me with drake’s breath? My first idea would be to knock/pull them away but it’s not always successful.

—Elixir S is a great skill, but I note that it will not contribute to point defense/captures; is this actually an issue?

— Is jump shot a legit gap closer? I guess I could use it to jump across various ledges.

— How do you not instantly die when a necro shows up? Every time a necro is on the other team, my chances of winning go down into the toilet. Everything else I can at least buy time for my team, but the necro just renders me ineffective. I get that necros beat engis 1v1, but they just fear me and my health just plummets even in a team situation. And as for power necros, they are easy to fight, but they will resort to lich form which seems to warrant me running away.

Can we just get rid of pets?

in Ranger

Posted by: ArchonWing.9480

ArchonWing.9480

The problem with some people’s views on pets is stemming from a biased standpoint in a particular game mode. Shouldn’t the class at least have semi-effective builds in all game modes (if designed correctly)?

The “I’ll show you how to play a ranger” or “your not using the pet” aren’t valid arguments by any stretch.

sPvP – Nobody should be arguing that pets are under-powered here. Many of them shine with a variety of builds. It may take practice, but it’s doable.

PvE (No world bosses) – The jury is out on this one. Seeing as some enemies ignore the pet’s presence, it really negates having the pet, given pathing issues and slow F2 response.

PvE (Dungeons & World Bosses) – Pets are supposed to account for 40% of your dps. You can’t sustain 40% of your dps if they are:
- sitting by your side
- continually being called back or swapped out
- dead because of unavoidable 1 hit ko’s

WvW (General Play) – By general I mean what people usually do there and that’s zerg. Maybe some small or medium group play; either way the pet is useless in all these scenarios due to pathing issues, lagging F2, and AoE.

WvW (Roaming) – If your somehow able to avoid the zerg and stay in 1v1 or maybe 1v2 scenarios, the pet is fine in skilled hands. Most people don’t go to WvW to roam, they go to zerg, and given the amount of complaints of roamers and smaller groups being run over by the zerg, it pretty much negates the pet.

So we have 5 scenarios; 1 of them, the pets are fairly advantageous, 1 is a toss up, 1 is semi-useless and based on luck, while 2 of them are completely useless.

To me it sounds like we should have the option to play with the pet because it really limits the effectiveness of the class as a whole.

I would disagree with your assessment of pets in open world pve. Pets are the reason why an already easy game mode is even more easy. Yes, there’s a few enemies smart enough to do otherwise but even if they target you, you can always use stealth or go back far enough. It helps if you have a pet with some kind of CC.

In dungeons, I don’t really see them dead unless the party as a whole is doing bad. That seems to be more of a fractal thing, but I do those very rarely.

In general play wvw, aka blob fights, supportive pets on a tight leash are still quite usable. And there’s always the spiders that have range. The only flaw is a lack of heavy aoe of which I think it’d be nice to have a pet for, but YMMV.

I do agree they are irrelevant in your average world bosses, but in general people themselves are largely irrelevant as it’s largely a 111111 snooze fest. In world bosses that require effort like Teq, pets can offer immobolizes and stuff that can be very helpful for turret defenses as well as being able to actually tank most champions.

Roamers need to learn to avoid zergs; if you can’t do that, then no profession or ability matters. That doesn’t mean the pets are useless.

Everywhere Guardian Build

in Guardian

Posted by: ArchonWing.9480

ArchonWing.9480

Sentinel is a bit overkill and base power tends to be more important. Health is overrated due to the existence of guard stacks.

PvE should be zerker gear/scholar and don’t go AH; it is simply bad, bad, bad for pve. You’d have even less damage than soldier. As for wvw, scholar runes aren’t going to be so hot because being frontline you’re not going to be staying above 90% always.

Save yourselves is generally a bad idea without supreme condition removal (say Absolute Resolution + Melandru Runes + Traited Purging Flames) You’d almost always be better off with hold the line.

Here’s how I would modify your build for wvw:

http://gw2skills.net/editor/?fVAQJARWlsApZotCxWI8DRRCBljNY/hQ88rDwFOAA-TlCEABFqEMKlcQqShBXAgmUOoo6KtpLAgDBQM7P8wTAIAACwNvZ28mBG6QH6QH6Q7mD9m3co3sUAMpMC-w

Of course, as with all 0/1/6/6/1 builds, they are on the selfish end but bring more damage; in a more organized group you will probably want to use the meta 0/0/6/4/4 and use soldier instead of sentinel. Add as much soldier trinkets/weapons as you need.

I find it best to play for the achievement mini-chests. If they’re not good or too out of the way, then I find myself just omitting them. Doing 1/3 or 2/3 is honestly enough to do quite well, especially considering exotic crafter.

IMHO the 3/3 reward is pretty marginal and I don’t really even factor it in when I do dailes. If a daily requires a detour that is slower than 2 minutes, I simply don’t bother.

Armor rating for necros?

ArchonWing.9480

Yea that build will work perfectly fine. One thing I’d suggest is to replace Near to Death with someone else. The faster DS recharge isn’t really going to matter that much since you don’t really have anything that procs on DS, except fury on DS which doesn’t matter anyways. You are largely restricted by life force when it comes to DS usage anyways.

Personally I like unyielding blast, because piercing life blasts are nasty. Path of midnight can be used for more utility. There’s also spectral mastery for spectral armor cooldown, but I think any of these will let you get more out of it.

Energy sigils are always nice because necros have no vigor, and you may also try fire/air sigils to do even more damage.

I like this build; it looks like you could really get a lot of damage out of it.

I do not recommend save yourselves though. You aren’t taking -condi food/runes or trooper runes, or pure of voice, and your only condition removal is purging flames. I think Save Yourselves would be a hindrance in tough spots, probably for hold the line so you help the group more with protection.

You also have a little less HP and a bit too much crit for my liking. I would suggest a few more soldier pieces but that is just my opinion.

Communal Defenses Build

Tried it, and it’s sadly disappointing because aegis only blocks one shot every 20 seconds if you’re lucky. You sacrifice way too much, because the only way to make it work is for shattered aegis, but that means you will get hit by tons of retaliation damage.

Secondly, you must have a gap closer or you will suffer from premature… umm explosions.

Finally, while in theory mace/focus would give you the most blocks, with the new retreat, it is somewhat redundant. I would rather go sword/focus for the mobility. Mace block is also unreliable at setting it up.

Also, you don’t have AH sustain, and if you try going for Shattered aegis, you will suffer from bad sustain, condi removal, support, or all of the above.

This is the best build I ever came up with it, and it really only works in smallish groups of 5-10, used it in zergs for some laughs (take master of consecrations in that case), but unreliable at best.

Dont forget Healing spring which can remove conditions as well as signet of renewal which can be activated to transfer all conditions to a pet

You certainly can, however, that would seem to be overkill.

Troll Unguent generally provides a better balance against your durability from both kinds of damage and gives you massive staying power.

Necro VS LB Ranger in WvW 1v1

in WvW

Posted by: ArchonWing.9480

ArchonWing.9480

Oh, that is simply going to happen because I do believe you are at a disadvantage. But it did seem like we were talking about 2 diffrent things; I was talking about power, and apparently you are a hybrid. In this case it’s possible that you’re simply being build countered.

Quote system sucks, sorry.

First off, taking Foot in the Grave for stability is a BAD idea for 1v1. You do not go this deep in soul reaping just for that. The Ranger’s PBS is on a 15 second cooldown untraited, comes out fast, and you must preemptively get DS for stability, of which you had to not been in ds.

Hmmmm I think you have a point here. I was thinking of ways to gap close to the ranger without taking too much damage and I was thinking using it as an opening to run to the ranger with stability on is a viable method! One could build around going max into the shroud traits, like for example a Tanky Full Condi Necro! BUT for a hybrid like me and for a Power Necro I would think it is not wise! and like you said Death Perception would be better for a Power Necro!

IMO, you would be better off not going so deep in soul reaping.

Plague form is also a bad idea as you move slower, has no range and thus no pressure, so the ranger will laugh at you (yes they will have time to use the emote), barrage you, and just walk away until your plague form is wasted. Why not use flesh golem, and knock him down? Or use lich form and shrug off his attacks, also gaining stability anyways. Though yes, for lich form can only be used if you managed to get through.

UH I dont think you actually move slower in plague! Also plague gives insane toughness and vitality! and STABILITY! he won’t tickle you much with his rapid fire/barrage and can’t knock you back!

http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Plague

Good thing is most rangers don’t walk away, they try to tickle you with their barrage/rapid fire!

Could you expand more on lich form? like what range it has, how to use it to gap close to the ranger? I have never used lich form! it is a foreign skill to me!

You actaully do move slower in plague; I use it to escape often. You can combine it with warhorn 5 though. However, lich form also has stability too and increased vitality. It also has powerful ranged spells. However, if you’re a condi build, plague form is better, but I don’t see condi builds having these things.

Also, they certainly wouldn’t fire at you when you’re in plague except barrage— which would make you really slow. Basically, they can always increase the gap.

Golem not really because he is also capped at 1200 charge range! The point of this thread is how do you get near enough to the Ranger most efficiently!

It is much harder for him to kite both you and the golem, if he has to keep trying to dodge it.

Like I said, 300-500 range isn’t like some massive gulf. If he’s staying at max range then he can’t chase you well. The general LB/GS build has at most 25% movement speed and does not have permaswiftness. Necros have a source of swiftness.

Can a GOOD ranger who is reading this confirm this quote above? Because I am not too sure if a LB auto attack cannot track a running target…
If you mean he can’t chase you with a LB then um I dont really agree either because assuming you were already in his range, he could dodge after you and still be in range

I’m not a good ranger, but…

You’re generally proposing a scenario where this ranger perfectly keeps away from you and is unreachable so you can’t attack him. Arrows can certainly hit you, but are we playing across a completely flat field with no end? There aren’t any obstacles in the way that obstruct arrows? My point was that if you’re outside arrow range, the ranger can really only chase you.

Anyhow, consider the longbow skills:
1— Long range shot
2— Rapid fire
3— Hunter’s shot
4— Point Blank Shot
5— Barrage (cripple)

Of these, only one can restrict your movement or bring him closer, and that is barrage, the hardest to land.

If we’re talking about a ranger that somehow manages to stay between 1201-1600 range all the time, well, kitten . I don’t think that happens much, does it?

Totally agree! Give a ranger a hill to stand on or fight him near a body of water and you are asking for trouble!

Yes, you can’t really win those fights.

Uh no that is not the point of my thread! T_T
What I am trying to drive at is, HOW TO GET CLOSER TO THE LB RANGER MOST EFFICIENTLY to actually start the fight.

Fair enough. I have just seen too many people die because people devote everything to closing the gap, only for the ranger to pop their stone signet and blast them away. >.> Let’s just say when I’m on my ranger, this is actually how I want them to feel. I like greeting them with a maul when they show up. xD

valid reason for not being on Voice Comm?

Posted by: ArchonWing.9480

ArchonWing.9480

First off, TS/mumble is a 3rd party program. If I’m playing on someone else’s computer they may not allow me to install it.

Second, it’s possible that their computer sucks, and can’t run it without lag.

Third, Just because you are a tag doesn’t mean people have to follow you…

I remember this one commander that would aggressively scold people to get on TS and would call people out in map chat for not being on TS/dying. Then you go log on TS, and it turns out you’d have to put up with his crap anyways. Oh and btw, I have no respect for commanders that evaporate on the first push, lol.

Be respectful, and stop demanding people listen to you, and link the TS constantly, asking “if you want to do better, please get on TS”. It really depends on your manner of telling to people.

And yes, I understand there’s always a bunch of people that won’t cooperate regardless of what you do and insist on following you. I don’t have any qualms with abandoning people not on TS though and letting them get wiped, lol. I mean it goes the other way, if they’re not playing ball, you can’t be held responsible for what happens to them either.

Which game mode are you playing? This will change the answers a lot.

In PvE, predator’s onslaught/spotter is very standard because of the massive damage you can do with the LB/sword combo. You don’t need range in pve. If you are farming open world events then you’d go piercing arrows instead.

In WvW small scale and duels, eagle eye+ read the wind is a very standard death machine build because your arrows are very accurate.

In WvW larger fights, Spotter is also very solid, and the other slot becomes a personal preference thing.

In PvP, I only have 1 game logged as a ranger, so I’ll let someone else fill that out, but I’d imagine read the wind would be strong there.

Necro VS LB Ranger in WvW 1v1

in WvW

Posted by: ArchonWing.9480

ArchonWing.9480

300 range is hardly insurmountable… but swiftness really helps. Swiftness, not just 25% movement because there’s a good chance the ranger is sporting it too. And so does LOS. It’s a great thing marks are nice big circles though.

No offense to OP because it is very hard to fight and I think the advantage goes to the ranger if you run power, but if you’re giving advice like this, then of course you’re losing 90% of fights to LB rangers.

Why not take Death Perception which gives you a chance to actually kill the ranger? Rangers aren’t warriors that have spammable stuns. You take stunbreaks, not stability to get through.

The spectral walk won’t work on a ranger that knows what they’re doing. . Use Spectral Walk for stunbreak and to get yourself out of trouble.

The way to put away a ranger is fear. Thankfully, staff 5 is a nice circle so you don’t have to be within 1200 range to hit him with it. It’s also practically unavoidable. Then you also get them with your DS 3, another fear that is nearly impossible to counter. The ranger may counter with stability… wait no they can’t; all their stability has a cast time.

A unheard of tactic is to walk away from them. (dodge away). Longbow has zero pursuit ability, unless they switch to their GS, in which case it would be a good time to turn around and pound them with everything.

It is true that a ranger has an advantage in the open field and extreme advantage when they have a terrain advantage. Don’t let that happen, and use obstacles to block his arrows.

Anyhow, don’t take this too seriously. It’s just that I think the tactics in OP are only good for prolonging death and not for actually winning. Necros are good at that, but a necro that doesn’t actively try to pressure and simply prays that their opponent will do something stupid is generally dead anyways.

Oh, and yes, condi rangers are far more devastating. >.>

Well, I think it’s true that if the game were run exactly like one individual wanted, no matter how good they were, the game would be crap.

I think everyone has their own vision of the game and what to look for, but too many times people try to think that everyone thinks like them but it’s simply false. It’s annoying and people do it everywhere, but in the end, speaking on behalf of a large group of which you don’t know most of them personally is very dumb.

That doesn’t mean feedback is useless though. A good compromise (yes, that scary thing) between a large amount of individuals of which most people can find a place to fit in the game, and for enough people to find some aspect of the gameplay to be engaging is what makes a good game.

So when I speak, I try to speak up for my own best interests. But at the same time, concessions really need to be made because not only person is big enough of a customer to have a game solely to their needs. And try to use the best kinds of arguments, instead of handing out more buzzwords and vague populist arguments that really don’t have any basis in reality except in one’s own head.

Still though, when Anet gets bashed for not listening to players on forums; sure the forums don’t represent anyone, but when people post bugs and other QOL issues that don’t get addressed, or when high level players post their insights in the game and not much is done to addressed, then there are problems. By no means do I think they should take all forum suggestions seriously (that would ruin the game for sure) but when someone makes a good point, it’s a good idea to have a well thought response to it. I don’t think they ignore feedback at all, but there’s a few instances where it’s created a lot of grief.

I was done with it a long time ago. Necro was my first character, and switched a few months later. It really made Gw2 a pretty crappy experience and I think I would have been better starting out as any other class, though in retrospect it was also a lack of experience.

That was when necro was really awful though, and these days I sometimes bring my necro to blow people up in wvw, and then that sure, you can definitely get some fun out of this class.

Anyhow, if you don’t like it, just feel free to start another class; it’s better that way. Better than being bitter all the time, and sometimes changes are in a favorable situation like that new dagger cleave is nice. I’m just going to say the sometimes, grass is greener…

Does anyone actually want a Season 3?

I wouldn’t want new classes or weapon sets; gotta balance the ones we have. New skills yes, and why the heck aren’t their guild halls and jeweler 500 in the making?

As for wanting a season 3, yes. I’ve found season 2 to be a decent distraction, and haven’t even worked on the most recent two chapters yet.

So because you don’t think the pvp is balanced, everyone else should be denied new content? Thats pretty selfish. I might as well say I don’t want new races because it could interfere with the lore of the Universe or that I don’t want new zones because I don’t want a thin playerbase. Its not different.

I said like nothing about pvp. (Hello, I have less than 20 games of that, 4 of which were used to get dailies yesterday, but you know what they say what happens when you assume) Perhaps you should learn to read; it’s pretty selfish when you can’t and you’re replying. And not wanting content before the current content is fixed to a certain quality level is not the same thing about denying everyone content. Unless you think that releasing crappy, poorly tested and tuned content while the current content remains as such is to not deny people new content. Of course, that would just be a silly strawman of your point, and I wouldn’t resort to the same stuff you are.

Please don’t speak for this so called “everyone” to project your opinion. It’s pretty selfish.

It’s indicative a lot of things in wvw. Bascially nobody cares about being kittened as long as they are the ones doing the kittening. Just like how when they blob, it’s a skill group, and when they get blobbed, it’s a bunch of mindless zombies that they would easily beat had they not been playing with their cat on the keyboard.

How come so many bronze in WvW?

You can definitely get gold just by roaming if you move fast enough, obviously not as fast as the train but it does add up. It is certainly a lot better with 3-5 people though as you can capture towers in a timely fashion if opposition is light. Rank things are mostly just generalizations. I know quite a few bronze legends or whatever that play mostly pvp and don’t karma train but they could definitely handle a lot of random people with higher ranks. They’d easily beat me too, which drives home the fact that being high rank doesn’t mean that much besides you may know some wvw basics.

It’s a combination of factors. A gold guy that is using a zerg weapon and runs at the first sign of not being at an advantage is probably a zerger. A gold guy that eyes you up and faces you directly while standing still is probably looking for a fight. That doesn’t mean anything about player skill or whatnot, but it sure means a lot about mentality. Being someone that sometimes plays for super casual zerg training and other times searching for rights, I usually understand what people are intending. Although beware the thief/mesmer/warrior that is slowly kiting you into his 5 person gank squad waiting around the corner, lol.

The individual choices (mostly pve) require detours while it was possible to do many dailies previously by playing normally. For example, daily events became [insert crappy zone] daily events.

Though under the old system, I’d often reach 3/5 or 4/5 playing normally and having to reach elsewhere, so I’m slightly happier, but mostly the free laurels allows me to rest in peace.

The system has a lot of potential, just some kinks regarding individual dailies that can be worked out.

IMO, all that needs to be done is to have one generic, constant daily. Bring back recycler, for every day!

I’m not sure where people are getting 3000 power from, lol. It must be a typo or people using the old obsolete stat “attack” (which is no longer used— it combined power and weapon damage but people would list that stat to hide the fact that they hit like wet noodles). 2000 power before buffs is a good target.

I would focus on geting all berserker trinkets first, because those are universally useful in both wvw and pve. If you buy anything else it would mainly be a wvw thing. You could consider getting some knight trinkets for wvw and using your exotic zerker trinkets when you are pve’ing or vice versa. Keep the knight trinkets for wvw and get ascended zerker for pve. That ultimately comes down to what activity you prefer.

Now, for wvw, I would suggest you buy some exotic soldier armor to give yourself some defense. Soldier armor is very cheap and in EOTM you largely care more about staying alive long enough to collect loot.

About 20-21k with guard stacks and food. If you’re running the meta double stab AH build (00644) you should have shelter to block attacks and renewed focus as your “oh crap” invul skill. Running around with an energy sigil on each weapon and knowing how to conserve your dodges is a big plus.

If your rank isn’t high enough to max Defense Against Guards I would suggest 00662 with Pure of Voice to make up the difference of not having the extra 100 vitality.

Yea, I also endorse double energy sigils! Shelter and Renewed Focus are also great and together they make a big difference.

I would say 15k health and 3000 armor unbuffed if you have good condition removal ability would be the baseline. Personally I have about 16.8k/2900 armor (3050 with strength in numbers) before any kind of buffs or food but will adjust as needed. With the poultry soup and guard stacks, I am already over 20k and I can even slap on Force of Will if I really wanted to. However, I generally find armor much more useful and there is really no hurt going to 3200-3300 armor before SiN if you can’t survive. Yes I know toughness doesn’t mitigate conditions, but condis should be cleansed pretty fast by your group, and you should be bringing your own cleanses too. HP is good for withstanding initial bursts, but in long fights, toughness and sometimes healing power is the better option beyond the bursts.

Anyhow, I’m sure people can survive with much flimsier stats than me since I sometimes manage to come out of pushes alive even when I forget I came in with my dungeon armor. I wouldn’t say that’s a good thing though.

 1. Shiverpeaks Miner is bad, I’ll be honest. I didn’t do it. But it rewards crappy mithril, so who cares.
 2. Also, solo your own events. :S Why do you need to zerg non-group events anyways?
 1. You can also mine copper, iron and platinum in the Shiverpeaks. Iron and Plat are more valuable than Mithril. And I got several types of ore in the reward chest.
 2. Hard to do if you’re playing at a busy time. There are players wandering around looking for events who’ll call out and link a WP. I used to solo events all the time before Mega-server. Not so much anymore, especially in <drum roll> *The Daily Zone!"

— Oh I meant I wasn’t impressed by the rewards last time I did it. It didn’t give me anything good. Usually logger or forager gives me more worthwhile stuff. And the Shiverpeaks zones are just too far out of my way to bother waypointing back and forth.
— Yea it can be annoying but even these days I can find events to do as long as they are lesser known and just keep quiet first, at least until it starts and I get credit for it. Event dailies have always been my least favorite though.

There are also certain zones I just flat out dislike. You could reward 1g for doing a Brisbane Events or Dredgehaunt Cliffs daily, but I’d never do it regardless of how easy it is, just because I hate that zone.

As usual people cherry pick the bad daily (which existed in previous instances). WvW players had to capture a keep for a daily, which isn’t always possible though I guess the reward was better. Maybe the Genderran fields achievement needed a better reward to balance it out.

-Exotic Crafter can be gotten by just salvaging items you find and crafting the luck. This is the only daily I cared about getting because of the ectos.
-Krytan Vista viewer is semi-bad, but you can get it in divinity’s reach where the Winteresday stuff is happening.
-Shiverpeaks Miner is bad, I’ll be honest. I didn’t do it. But it rewards crappy mithril, so who cares.
Genederran fields was also boring, so I didn’t do it.
- Finished daily by killing 5 guards in wvw.

If I really wanted 10 AP, I could have easily done it in pve, but I didn’t have to. Several ectos is way more important than 10 AP towards a crappy achievement chest.

Also, solo your own events. :S Why do you need to zerg non-group events anyways?
