Has this change actually gone in? I ask because over the weekend I capped a few Camps while getting my Daily dolyak kills, and I noticed the white swords still popped up on the Camp while I was doing it.
Or is the white swords only visible to YOU if you’re the one attacking it?
It’s been mentioned that the change will likely appear in December.
Seriously, this is just after the weekend and 2 servers in the 3 silver league matchups already have over 110k points. It’s ridiculous.
I will be bold and say the transfers are starting to break silver ties. There goes the slight balance and variety that many liked.
We have two servers, BP and HoD, which doesn’t have coverage to compete with DR and yet would probably crush GoM. At the top, we have DB, they had more players and coverage in the past but still the matches weren’t complete roflstomps as they are now, they were competitive. So that makes DB as a tier 2.5 server, which doesn’t fit with the tier 3 population.
So we have 2 servers isolated in the bottom, which can compete among themselves but a 3rd will ruin and have an overstacked server on top which will crush any other they are matched up against.
Well-said. The only possible change we might be seeing is that Mag is probably going to drop to 13 on Friday, and given their performance over the last couple months might actually make a proper 13-14-15 matchup. Hard to tell, though, until we actually play them.
That is, you know, if Anet actually matches us together instead of throwing a friggin’ rank 9 server at us.
I am actually really looking forward to December to see how the play dynamic will change with this. This will require scouts to be on maps, in towers, in keeps.
You realize that there are 4, maybe 5 servers that can actually do this, population-wise? That’s out of 24. Not the majority.
Anyway, this change was decided upon after the adopt-a-dev devs had a meeting. It was not something that was asked for by the majority of players.
Not that our 7,11,13 NA match up wasn’t a foregone conclusion on Friday a few hours after reset, but hell, I just logged in at 11:00 AM EST to try to have a little fun this morning in WvW, and this is what I found… (see pic)
Not only has the dominating server taken everything in EB… they’ve WAY POINTED EVERYTHING!!!
I love the WvW game mode, but man… I doubt this is any kind of real fun for anybody.
I fear that WvW is on life support and will depart if something significant isn’t changed soon.
Remind me of old Tier 8… Ah the golden days… Imagine yourself in that situation for 13 weeks straight?
How about 23 weeks? We’re approaching the half-year mark.
Yeah, but here’s the thing… the owner would still hear it. And he’s the one who bought it. If the rest of us really want to hear it then we can buy one ourselves. Some people though don’t WANT to hear it.
And I WANT others to hear it. Its part of the fun of this item.
As previously stated…
" Not everyone that buys this thing is a griefer, but just by reading some of the above comments, this can be (and is) used as a griefing tool."
You cant grief with this.
Okay.
So I am highly amused by people complaining about it. Makes the 500 gems well spent.
So you are highly amused at people that are annoyed by something you spent 500 gems on? Sounds like you enjoy griefingannoying people quite a bit.
I made this thread a few days ago https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/gw2/Muting-Hiding-Other-Player-s-New-Backpack/first#post4539176, because as soon as the backpack was out I had the ‘pleasure" to encounter its happy owner in EoTM.
I was kind of relieved to notice that I wasn’t the only one to find it a pain. But as you can see the thread died fast and no answer about this problem from Anet.
Let’s hope you’ll be heard, because I find it so annoying I usually switch map when someone is wearing that dreadful thing :/
I made a more succintly-named thread and it’s mostly been trolling aside from some realistic responses. I doubt anything will ever be done to it, though. It’s the Annoy-o-Tron.
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/gw2/The-Replica-Annoy-o-Tron/
All of you are lucky the developers decided not to show the server names on EotM, this is where we are extremely dominate in right now, that map relies heavily on strategy and tactics, perfect for Jade Quarry to show its true colors.
hahahahaha
oh man, so good
If anything they should move this in under the instrument slider.
That would kill all instruments in the game.
Who approved putting such a backpack in the first place I’m wondering… did you not see this in advance? srsly?
I don’t know why it was added, personally I have the instruments turn off completely because I never liked them. I would put them in with this thing because to me they are both unnecessary. However I do understand people like the instruments. I just don’t happen to be one of them.
Sticking it into the instruments category works for me.
Was running around in WvW last night with a group where one person was wearing one of these things. It’s loud, it’s annoying, it’s repetitive, and the only way to shut it up is to turn my dialogue volume completely down.
Now.
Imagine running around in a group of people that had, say, a dozen of these. It would drive most people insane. I shouldn’t have to turn my dialogue completely off to not hear this thing (and seriously, it talks a LOT). I’m aware that adding an additional setting just to disable hearing it is probably not feasible, but can we just make it so other people don’t hear your annoying backpack if they’re in WvW or PvP or something? I’m sure some people find its dialogue to be funny or witty, but hearing “TURBO MODE ENGAGED” or whateverthehell every time I warhorn someone with it gets really old, really fast.
It truly is terrible. Imagine running with a group that had 6 or 7 of these things. They are the most annoying thing I’ve seen in the game since the joke box or whatever the hell that thing is.
I’m on a rank 14 playing a rank 9. What in the everloving…
Let me put it this way. We have not won a single matchup in 23 weeks. And then they throw this bullkitten at us. Well, guess there’s that shiny new LS content out…
HoD from day 1 here (2 years running). It’s a fantastic server, otherwise I would have transferred long ago.
I routinely command in both BLs and EBG and always have a good time doing it — and if I am commanding, expect me to have an army of omegas ready to go
. Nothing like trying to sneak a platoon of giant robots through an enemy BL or EBG to take a keep without anyone knowing.
We’ve got strong commanders and an even stronger community. For the Henge!
I’m from Henge of Denravi.
Don’t do this, please. For the love of god.
Apologies, it’s been a late night. “It’s usually Omegas that approach from underwater that hit the gate.”
dude… Omegas can’t shoot from underwater… At best you meant alphas, because they can actually punch the gate, but omegas can’t do anything while swimming.
Positioning, do you know it?
it’s usually omegas that hit it from underwater.
Omegas can’t shoot underwater…
Apologies, it’s been a late night. “It’s usually Omegas that approach from underwater that hit the gate.”
2) True, it’s not much of a “gate” — blue and red have actual, rammable gates, and it seems odd that red doesn’t share the same features as blue. Green’s water gate is technically also protected by its outer cannons.
You can ram green keep watergate too. There’s a slight ledge above them where you can jump up and drop a ram.
3) I’ll concede that, but the people who have (and hold) SMC are more often than not going to be red team.
That’s completely false, since red is usually weakest server offseason/always weakest server during seasons.
2) Only works if you can ninja. There are mortars and cannons that easily knock those rams out. I can’t even remember the last time green WG was rammed — it’s usually omegas that hit it from underwater.
Wait whoa, that came out wrong. Let me rephrase:
3) I’ll concede that, but the people who have (and hold) SMC are more often than not not going to be red team.
There was an extra “not” I was missing.
(edited by Ark Bladesteele.2943)
2) There is no built-in siege (oil or cannon) on Water Gate.
Neither does green keep, (although green keep water gate is a joke)
3) It is the only keep that can be trebbed from SMC.
It is also the only keep that can treb SMC
2) True, it’s not much of a “gate” — blue and red have actual, rammable gates, and it seems odd that red doesn’t share the same features as blue. Green’s water gate is technically also protected by its outer cannons.
3) I’ll concede that, but the people who have (and hold) SMC are more often than not going to be red team.
Let’s also mention the other big disparities:
1) Red keep is the only keep that has outer and inner gates that face spawn that cannot be double-rammed.
2) There is no built-in siege (oil or cannon) on Water Gate.
3) It is the only keep that can be trebbed from SMC.
It’s definitely an outfit. Notice how the chest and legs are all one piece. Definitely inspired by the Dervish from GW1, though, but sadly it’s just an outfit.
Credentials? I’m seriously wondering if you’re just trolling now. But yeah, the answer is pretty simple: scan and clean your computer. Download ADWCleaner, run a scan, download and scan with Malwarebytes.
Stop using IE.
Page bug. But yeah, if you’re seeing ads while playing the game, you’ve got malware.
Bringing the thread back to my point. Once again, the matchup is crap.
Odd that this thread hasn’t been locked yet. But, yeah, the matchup is crap. The problem here is that both our and BP’s glicko ratings are very close, whereas the next nearest server either higher or lower is a loooong way away. There is no 3rd server in Silver that can possibly give either of us an even matchup right now.
HoD has not gotten a first place win in 22 weeks. I guess I’ve just gotten used to it.
There are like half a dozen map holes in the thing too. People keep falling through and getting stuck. I love it.
Has anybody tried the Ghostly Doubloon? http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Ghostly_Doubloon.
The last could be mist essence or something else from Fractals.
Check the first page.
I’m honestly completely lost here, but I’ve enjoyed reading the thread. If it is something Ascended though, and I’m not sure which item’s hints this would fall under, has anyone checked to see if a Vision Crystal shows up in the forge? Lessers do, but I haven’t checked to see if a regular one does now.
Let’s toss aside anyone that won’t be buying the wrappers from the gem store. To get a wrapper, it’s a fairly rare drop from ToT bags (I got close to 800 last night and ended up with a total of 8 wrappers). So it’s RNG to even get the wrappers, which are then just a means to access the RNG of getting the skins.
It’s RNGInception!
Simply put, we don’t have enough people on our server to scout every location all the time. The only thing this change is going to do is make it even more frustrating when something big flips only because we didn’t have someone squatting in it for hours on end and watching every single gate/wall to see if the enemy is attacking.
It’s hard enough trying to pull people to get across the map when swords pop on a keep to try and make it in time to do something about it. Now, something flips, and there won’t be any warning, notification — nothing.
Out of the 24 servers in NA, this change will have the largest benefit to 5, possibly 6. That is not the majority. Don’t implement it. As Brutal said, Dumb idea is Dumb.
Deaf ears. /15 characters
From a friend, which I totally agree with.
Why isn’t there a slider in the options menu for “Max Number of Particles on Screen” at once?
Many of the particle effects seem to me to be overly excessive and if cut down some wouldn’t affect the look much if at all. That kind of slider would be far more friendly to older machines/video cards.
Actually, and this is a bit odd, but changing your Animation settings between High/Medium/Low will also alter the number of particle FX you see. For example, going from medium to low no longer shows any of my on-hit FX from Frostfang, or any of the cool streaking or trail FX. It also changes the look of some Asura gates.
Long I ago I did suggest adding a separate slider or dropdown for VFX, but sadly it hasn’t happened. I do agree that it’s something that would be beneficial for a lot of people — for example, I don’t want to lose my Legendary FX, but I would like to get rid of the cloth physics applied to bodies of water. I can’t currently do that by dropping my animation setting to low, otherwise I lose the VFX. It shouldn’t be one or the other, IMO.
When you see Tootsie charging its escape bar, pop it with an interrupt. That’s all it takes to keep her from running.
It has always been like that. It’s not just legendaries, and it would be hard to explain why it occurs without having a basic background in graphics programming/rendering, but it’s not going to be fixed.
Told you guys before its in the JP. Instead of whinning how about you go inside the JP and get to the top and kill those people. That way you can take a screenshot too to show if its CD or whoever as well.
If CD is really as big and bad as you say them to be, than how come they not T1 with powerhouse servers like Jade Quarry?
No exploits here, just people who too afraid to enter the Jumping Puzzle. All I see is two screenshots facing the JP and people hiding in there garrison like they cant handle combat outside there base, making accusations that its a CD using exploits.
You ever heard of people setting up a treb, trebbing you from the other enemy location, its called diversion, they trying to get you to think its the other team attacking you, so you attack the other team. This is what could be a diversion, since people rarely go into the Jumping Puzzle.
That’s a map exploit all right, no doubt about it. You’re not supposed to be able to treb from there. I don’t know what version of WvW you’ve been playing, but you just sound like an kitten who doesn’t know what he’s talking about. You can’t build trebs in the JP, end of kittenin’ story. If anything, you sound like you’re defending the person(s) that built the treb. Exploit much lately?
- Why does the new “helper” arrow insist on pointing out the nearest event instead of something more useful, like a Skill Point or Vista? (the priority is a problem when trying to clear maps)
I don’t have answers for a lot of the questions posed here, and I think most of them are all quite valid. In regards to this, though, you can make the compass work for you with map completion. Options → Content Guide → Hide Events and Personal Story … this will make it only point to map areas you haven’t explored.
Could always stick a few Siegerazers in there. The toughest (actually killable) NPC in WvW is not the SMC lord. It’s razer. Although the EBG grub might be up in the running for that too, maybe throw a few grubs around instead?
(edited by Ark Bladesteele.2943)
Saw it on quite a few human females in LA earlier. Thoughts:
a) Boobs!
b) Making the cloven hooves into stripper platform shoes was definitely thinking outside the box.
c) Boobs.

Guys, can you check with GPU-Z your “Bus Interface” parameter?
http://www.techpowerup.com/downloads/2398/techpowerup-gpu-z-v0-7-9/mirrors
Mine it’s like “PCI-E 2.0 x16 @ x16 2.0” when game runs well, and “PCI-E 2.0 x16 @ x1 2.0” when game fails.
My bus interface is N/A. Any suggestions?
You’re using integrated graphics, laptop maybe? You may not have a PCI-E slot. Either way, it wouldn’t matter if you were only using the IGPU.
Actually it is not a design limtation. Most one-handed melee weapons do not exhibit this behavior for the most part, for example a Warrior with two swords or sword/axe will attack with both weapons on their auto-attack skill #1.
That is 100% not true. A warrior dual wielding any melee weapons will only attack with the primary with AA. In fact, the animation doesn’t even change if stick an axe or a sword or a mace in the off-hand — you’re just attacking with the one weapon.
There is only one time, one time that both weapons are used in unison, and that is when an axe is wielded in the off-hand: #4, Dual Attack.

The ludicrous Swiss-style matchups mixed with a glicko-style system put us up against a server 6 ranks ahead of us. The difference between even 1 or 2 ranks can sometimes be vast, but during that matchup, it was a blowout. People left the server. Barely anyone played WvW that week.
For some servers that got stacked for the tourney, I’m sure it was a blast, but you have to realize that your population gain came at a population loss from other servers. Which, like I said, is great and all if you’re the one getting stacked, not so great if you’re not.
No, I did not enjoy it. You can’t roll Swiss-style with glicko, and locking leagues was a huge mistake.
PS You try hard roamers on DR and SBI that have to take the fight to npc’s to make sure you can revive when you die and then run away like a little kitten after you do need to get some skill
On second thought, forget all the nice things I said in my last post. Go back to jerking off over your own post and your self-congratulation. You didn’t need to insult anybody, but you did. Close this kittenin’ thread.
It was stupid. Locking leagues was the worst idea ever for a Swiss-style tournament. Congrats to NSP and all, but I think the top servers of bronze and the bottom servers of silver should have gotten a chance to fight each other, and in no possible way do I think we should have gone up against servers like Dragonwagon. You can’t make a Swiss-style tourney based on a previously-established glicko and then lock leagues at the same time. It just didn’t work.
As for what to do with Gold, that is an entirely different part of WvW that belongs nowhere near the rest of the tiers.
Past the OP’s wall of text, I hope you continue to do well. I would hate to see a post-season plummet like ours and many other servers have seen. I see your matchup this week is against DR and CD. Good luck.
In WVW, it’s pretty difficult to get the map completed whenever the enemy spots you and decides to ruin your day by killing you. So I came up with an idea: what if when you entered the borderlands, you were given two options of play; combat mode and map completion mode. When the player enters combat mode, it’s the normal mode you enter in as now where you can attack and be attacked. But when they chose map completion, they can’t be attacked and they can’t attack in return. So that way, if you’re just there for map completion, you can do so without being knocked around by the enemy. It would make a lot of people’s days a little bit easier and more enjoyable whenever they have to go in for map completion.
Now to avoid a quick problem, the only way to change the mode you’re in is to leave the borderlands and reload back in where it’ll ask you which mode you’d like to be in. This way, if an enemy team is losing, they can’t just swap modes and become untouchable.
I’m thinking for those in map completion mode, they could be granted stealth the entire time they’re there, so they don’t really interfere with the gameplay at all.
Just a few ideas to make it a bit easier.
Ok. So, here’s what’s going to happen.
I enter “map completion” mode — this puts me in permastealth, I’m unkillable, and I can walk through the walls and gates of enemy structures, note every piece of siege placement, every fortification, even the numbers of defenders.
I change back to “combat”. I relay everything I’ve learned to our server and we attack the structures that have the least defenders nearby and where the siege is weakest.
Nope. Not gonna happen.
What you want is to be able to enter an empty map that is an exact copy of the WvW maps without actually being WvW. The point of WvW map completion has always been two-fold:
a) Attempt to draw people from PvE into the game mode and perhaps they stay (as I did)
b) Take people out of their comfort zones so they experience something they would otherwise not try.
If I want the Glorious PvP armor? I have to play PvP. I want the cool rank finishers? Gotta play PvP. I want the Fractal Capacitor backpiece? I need to run Fractals.
I want to make a Legendary weapon? I have to finish the map. That includes both PvE and WvW. What if I’m just a WvW player? What if I never stepped foot outside the game mode except to go to LA every once in a while? I might find it inconvenient. It’s a fairly big map, after all.
There may be things in the game that you want which will require you to leave your comfort zone to obtain them. People thought it was “unfair” that they had to run 5 daily Fractals to be able to complete Mawdrey. I saw it as a way to let people experience a part of the game they don’t normally play. You can’t get everything you want in any way you want all the time. Otherwise, why don’t we just get rid of requirement-specific content altogether? Let’s dump drops. Forget gold. Forget the entire ingame reward system.
Let’s just have everything be in the gem store. It’s convenient, right?
Be smart. Think on your toes. Use tools like wvwintel.com to watch various maps for when your side takes a structure. Ask for escorts. These are all things that I initially did to finish my first Legendary. I followed a commander around one day, and since we were zerging up a storm particularly fierce that day, I asked if we could take a specific tower. It was the last thing I needed for map completion. He was nice enough to point the zerg at the tower and I got my map completion.
Of course, by that time I’d already realized that I liked WvW, and once I stepped in, I never really left. That’s not everyone’s story, or everyone’s cup of tea. There are, however, many tools and strategies at your disposal to achieve map completion — use them.

I know some people notice no difference in performance, they still have the same fps like before. It sure is baffling how only some players have this problem. Besides not being able to reproduce the problem, the other argument is that system requirements change over time.
I’ll have to fault your second argument, there, because while system requirements generally do change over time for MMOs, they do not change over the course of one patch unless the company has otherwise said they will. I’ll refer you to one of their blog posts about the upcoming feature pack that was made back in August:
Performance Updates
We‘re always working on the performance of the game with every update, but we have a big batch of improvements coming in this feature pack. We’ve changed the way many of the underlying systems work, making them more cost-effective, which will reduce how often players will be seeing issues caused by performance. This is most notable in large combat situations like WvW and at the PvE world boss events. These improvements affect both the server and client performance, so in these situations, you should see increased frame rates as well!
https://www.guildwars2.com/en/news/september-2014-feature-pack-improvements-galore/
Can you point to me where they say that performance was somehow going to get worse?

Do you guys need like 1 year or more to get this fix? Bunch of stupid people breaking stuff instead of fix.
Well, let me try and break it down for you (the main reason why so many things broke that were previously working just fine).
What Anet did was take their codebase from the Chinese version of the game and attempt to do a hard merge into the codebase of our (western version) of the game. I’ve had to do merges from previous versions of game engines to newer ones, and those are nightmarish enough — imagine merging in 6+ months of code from an entirely different version of the game into the current one.
The merge conflicts are enormous. This is how so many game systems ended up in such bad shape, and we have had 9 patches since.
It’s why a feature that worked without absolutely no problems before, High-Res Character Textures, is now game-breaking for me (single digit framerates if I have it checked). It’s why there are all sorts of inconsistencies across the netcode. It’s why we now have a 3rd party UI backend for the TP that has proved to be unreliable at best (I’m guessing that Anet does not have access to the source, only its libraries, thus the sheer number of problems that we’ve seen with Coherent itself). It’s why, for some reason, massive framerate improvements were promised and I haven’t talked to a single person who’s said they’ve gotten better performance since the patch.
Just because people don’t post about it doesn’t mean they aren’t having problems. Some just flat out quit the game. A large number of posts about this are scattered in other threads throughout other subforums that were not merged into this one.
It’s a major screwup, and the reason why they’re asking us all these questions is because they have no idea what to do.
If people’s systems don’t change between one major patch and the next, and then hundreds/thousands of them suddenly see a major hit to their performance, it’s Occam’s Razor in that it’s not the fault of the many but the fault of the software. They can’t fix, at least not yet, what they don’t know they broke.
“They are worth a few silver, if you vendor them”
“They already vendor into decent silver”
Are you insane? They are worth 4.95 silver.
NOT EVEN FIVE SILVER. I can vendor some masterwork items for about the same price and I could just walk into a low level area and breathe on a mob to get one. 4.95 silver is just 10c short of the highest waypoint price between the two farthest points on the game world. If you paid the absolute minimum price to waypoint, after 4 waypoints your ascended vendored ring no longer covers the cost. I don’t even
They’re worth absolute garbage if you don’t need them. Decent silver? I’m hoping my sarcasm detector just isn’t functioning properly right now due to having the flu.
(edited by Ark Bladesteele.2943)
From what I’ve seen this season people showed up hard the first, played until the end, got to the second week, and went “what? Why are we playing a server 3 tiers ahead of us?”, didn’t feel like even venturing near a ruin because that server had 5-10 man groups sitting in them 24 hours a day, and then mostly just quit.
It was a silly idea to make this tourney Swiss-style when you already had glicko in place. While I enjoyed the adopt-a-dev program, yes, I think this tournament was a failure. I’m hoping all the devs got to see that as well, and perhaps the next one won’t be as bad.
Probably hoping a bit too much against hope there, though.
A question on this calculation. When using the number 2540 base power have you factored in the various percent bonuses from various traits.?
As example someone has pistol mastery (10 percent more damage) Executioner (20 percent more damage under 50 percent enemy health) Exposed weakness (10 percent more damage with enemy having a condition) and first strike (10 percent more damage if over 6 ini) for 50 percent more damage.
How does that change your calculation given you mentioned weakness as a negative factor if at all or is that number of 2540 base the same?
I have been trying to confirm the calculations and they just not coming out as you suggest. The base needed would seem much higher to get more damage from cruelty sigil.
I’m not counting any % bonuses (10% dmg to bleeding enemies, +10% damage while wielding a greatsword or spear, etc). Those actually make cruelty even worse.
I arrived at 2540 on (you are right, incorrect) damage multiplication. Let’s go with a flat 150% crit dmg pct (dmg * 1.5).
2540 * 1.5 = 3810
This is our baseline. Add full stacks of cruelty.
2540 * 1.67 ~= 4242
Instead of cruelty, add full stacks of bloodlust.
2790 * 1.5 ~= 4185
So it is slightly lower than 2540, in fact. I think I should avoid math when I’ve been awake a bit too long
So, let’s look at armored attack vs. destruction of the empowered. While I like DOTE (I use it regularly when roaming or in small groups, but then again I also use armored attack at the same time — 0/2/6/0/6), I would not choose it over armored attack for my build, which has 2100 toughness (+210 power). At a base 2400 power (rounding down a bit), that gives me 2610 power. To achieve another 210 points of raw damage with DOTE, which is +3% dmg per boon on my target, the target would need to have a minimum of 5 boons active.
Solid math right here. Ok first of all, I have a suspicion you are running Dolyak Signet, in which case your toughness will be slightly inflated, and Armored Attack won’t use the passive toughness it gives to calculate the power. But nevermind that, let’s assume you just got 2400 power and no might. 210 extra power gives us 8.75 % more damage. I don’t know how you came to the conclusion that you the target needs 5 or more boons on it for DOTE to be better, because it’s actually a better trait when it got as few as 3 boons on it. And this is best case scenario for Armored Attack. The more power you got (from might), the better DOTM will be in comparison.
So really, I find it amusing how you attack people stacking critical damage because “those numbers look great in the hero panel”, when you do exactly the same thing with power. DOTM >>>> Armored Attack
I do not run any signets except rage when roaming, outside of that, healing signet.
You’re right on my math being off, though. I’m still trying to figure how I arrived at 5 boons. That part is 100% incorrect.
The fall tourney failed because there is no risk, and no real reward.
Let’s shake it up a bit and solve the population unbalance in a more fair way rather then closing servers down just for the sake of it…
Servers placing 3rd in their respective tiers over a 8 week period will be closed down, and players forced to jump servers to one of a different tier for no charge!
You think your server is worth fighting for? Prove it!
On a side note, I am on Blackgate, but this is not an idea that spawns from that. An 8 week tourney gives jq and tc just as much advantage to 2v1 us and get rid of is once and for all! This goes for a lot of other tiers as well!
Discuss…
Yes, an excellent idea coming from someone on a server that would never in a million years be in any danger of losing and shutting down. I like my server. I don’t care that it’s underpopulated.
Don’t you have a blob to go absorb yourself back into or an arrow cart to refresh or something?
Next idea.
But what makes you so sure it would be possible to modify the system in a good and easy way?
Spending weeks or months doing something because some people are too lazy to read a short mail is usually not a good thing. Especially not when there are actual issues that needs to be fixed.
Given Anet’s track record, you’re right, it likely would take them weeks or months or possibly years to implement something into their backend that’s as silly as a reward tracker. I mean, it took them a year to make a commander tag palette swap, a new trick, and a new line of ability mastery.
You’re right. I wouldn’t trust them to implement anything that would actually work properly as far as I could throw them.
