OMG, that’s terrible! I knew there was a reason I keep post-processing effects deactivated.
The game’s currently full of people who make as large and obnoxiously glowy characters as possible, thinking it’ll make them stand out.

REMOVE sigils/runes of blue/greens on level 80 gear that drops from chests/monsters. Who the hell even uses these in the first place? most people atleast have rares, and if not, they can simply buy a cheap ass green sigil if they want to use a green sigil from the trading post.
Uhm… soon there won’t be any to buy at the TP if they no longer drop.
Also, “Who uses them?” Well, people who are new to the game and still on the road of leveling their character(s) to Lvl 80.
Oh! that glider is hilarious, at first I thought it was like little water speckles, but if you look closely, they look like feathers… but in fact, its just “tiny” soul people running and fall off as you glide!
I can’t get an angle on which I can actually recognize any such detail. It’s all “washy” from the movement. Do you have a screenshot per chance?
Edit: Oh! I took one myself, and now I see what you are talking about! They look like stick figures, heh. Love it even more now!

Funny enough (“funny”, because I just saw this thread), I was just thinking, “Darn, while many of the female armor sets attempt to expose pretty much every asset of my female characters, I can’t find a single good looking armor set that exposes any of my male characters’ neck and chest.” (And no, don’t point me to the ugly gladiator-type skins with funny looking straps, neck collars and what not.) Hmph.
While many of the responses have valid points of criticizing the OP, I have to agree that the OP was right on spot when they wrote:

If GW1 still continued on, I would rather be playing that at the moment, seeing as how boring GW2’s story has become, how repetitive its missions (with their “need” to provide even “more action”, like that would make them more exciting and increase quality), and how little variety the skill system allows (because it is bound to weapons, and because of the meta).
While GW2 did start out as an MMO_*RPG* (and I dearly missed the RPG aspect in GW1), it quickly turned more and more into a mere action game/hackfest with only a few bits of good story content here and there (I can count the good story content and enjoyable missions of HoT and S3 on one hand).
GW1 had the better lore, and before its release I had hoped GW2 would be an advanced GW1: more mobilty (jumping and swimming), but remaining the same at its core regarding the skill system and story-telling. And while it started out as a promising RPG, with personal story options, cinematic dialogue, and story missions that had more to offer than just fighting, it changed drastically over time. Now it truly is just action and very little fun/RPG.
Therefore, I can relate to the OP’s sentiment of missing the feeling of playing GW1, which also was an online action game, but — as stated before — with much more enjoyable content in many regards. So if I wanted action, I’d be playing GW1 — only I already played through all of its content tons of times.

You can’t participate in the meta events without many of the masteries, you can’t even get everywhere without gliding, updrafts, mushrooms, and toxicity resistance.
Well, you need toxicity resistance in most of the game, really.
OMG, LOL! I am so sorry. English isn’t my first language. Of course, what I meant was “poison resistance”. How embarassing… Although it’s true: as of late, toxicity resistance has become a real pre-requisite for playing the game.

I had the same problem with Noran’s Safe Room Pass…
Now I have four of them in my bank. I’ve send a few tickets over the ingame ticket system, though nothing changed.
Noran’s Safe Room Pass is not an item which falls into this category, as it always provides you with an extra key to Noran’s Chest, hence is supposed to be able to drop multiple times.
In the last chapter Taimi was the same size of my female asura engie.
I’ll never get why people create super tiny characters just like I will never understand why many create gigantic ones (although I can imagine the latter being for RL compensation of sorts).

Or, you were in one of the places that did drop dye. I opened all my keys in the Terrace; no problem receiving dyes there.
The bug seemed to be, either you got dyes (and things were ok), or got none (that was the bug). It was all or nothing, depending on where you were when you opened dyes.
Ahhh, okay then, I’m safe. I opened them in the Terrace, too, and definitely did receive dyes. Thanks.
You might want to be working on the things that would be helpful when the next expansion arrives. It will probably be 5-6 months before the next expansion.

HoT provides you with elite specilizations that won’t ever be available outside of it. The new expansion will bring completely different elite specializations.
Furthermore, you will find more people on the HoT maps (including those of Living World Season 3) than on any of the core Tyria maps.

Something I have been wanting to ask you for quite some time now: Why do you end each of your posts with “Good luck”? It does make you sound a bit condescending, but maybe that’s just me.
Plus the land had been submerged under the sea for many years. It’s saturated with so much salt water I think any flora would have a hard time growing there.
You are aware of the fact that there are plants that grow in salt water as well as along the shore lines, right?
As for the argument that it would take too long: What was the point of a “cleansing”, which by the way proved that with its magic growth returns immediately, when it shows no effect at all outside of the cave?
