Sounds like it. Assuming it is, you can change the password in ‘my account’ at the top of the page, see if that keeps them out. You will need to contact support to start proceedings to get your account back if it doesn’t work. Go to the support tab at the top of the page then to ‘ask a question’ and make out a ticket. You will also need as soon as possible to run a security sweep and also look for keyloggers. Once your computer is clean and you have your account back you can ask for an account restoration to get your stuff back.
I am a total casual gamer. I usually don’t play more than 4 or 5 hours a week. I was able to get my Teq wings and do all the Teq achievements for the title (minus jump the huge wave). I have played him roughly 8 times and beat him probably 5.
I don’t have great armor or weapons on my warrior. I have what the game has given me. I haven’t crafted or bought any that I am wearing or using. I think that my boots are green but I know for sure my leggings are. The rest of my armor is rare. I use that pact greatsword (rare) and the Arc longbow (exotic). I couldn’t tell you what type they are for sure, some are carrion and others are even berserker (I know it is a big no-no for this fight but it is the best I got, sorry). The last 4 fights I have done I haven’t been all the way dead once.
I love this event.
As a casual gamer, I get it. Not all content is for me and I am okay with that. I am not paying a subscription so it is fine. I didn’t even enter SAB. I wasn’t my cup of tea. There is plenty of other stuff for me to work on in the game.
I don’t get why people are so up in arms and ready to quit the game because they don’t like the way one thing was done. I don’t think it is perfect and there are things that could be done differently but in my mind that is no reason to light up the torches and grab the pitchforks.
You’re patting yourself on the back for something you didn’t actually do. It wasn’t you that won, it was the groups you happened to be with that won. If you had gotten in 8 different groups, after waiting an hour or two, and these groups failed as most groups do then maybe you would be seeing what others are complaining about.
If you are inviting people to join, maybe you could say if you are NA or EU based, which servers and maybe guild leaders/officers names. Or perhaps a website.

One reason it’s a big deal is because it give Dragonite now. Because my server has never won this event and because when I guest to another server I get into overflow and it fails, this means a good source of dragonite is not available.

If you blocked someone you can go to the blocked persons windows and you can see if he/she is online or not. You can’t see the character name or any info bout his/her location. Though why would you wanna keep track of someone you dont have a desire to talk to.

You can’t see the character name but you can go to the blocked window and it still shows you the map/dungeon/instance they are in.
As to why they would keep tract of someone, because they don’t want to meet up with them even by accident. If someone has a stalker, they likely don’t want to go to the map that person is in.
When is scamming ever rule abiding? Stalking without any harassment, contact or insults is perfectly legit as far as I can tell. Its also totally pointless, useless and harmless. I am merely observing this person that has cost me several days of grinding for money and believes they can just walk free without any consequence. I am sure if observing someone while they play with my scammed money is a concern for Anet, Anet will let me know. And I will back off. Until then, for the same amount of time it took me to earn that money I will now spend looking for ways to have this person banned. Seems fair and square.
Just a comment. If what you do when stalking someone is a concern for ANet, the way they will let you know is by suspending your account. They will not contact you in any way to give you a warning.
Yeah. Annoying that it doesn’t really tell you. However as said before you will get another chance later. Eventually if you play long enough you will get all of them. It doesn’t take that long if you do the Living Story achieves, daily and monthly.
No claws but, try looking at the Winged armor gloves. They have a webbed area over the forearms that can be dyed separately and the hand is bare but the fingertips are covered.They are dyed the same color as the webbing and this makes them look clawlike. I found a picture, but it’s blurry.
I use this on my Necromancer. The body is dyed black and the webbing is dyed red. It looks pretty cool imo. :-)
Bad play I bet. People just using skills on cooldown instead of situationally. I used to play as my warrior with a friend as a ranger. I finally had to ask, please don’t use knock back unless you need to get it off you.
Yeah I been standing here for the Fire Ele timer. and never spawn. back on cooldown. I want to try out the new fight mechanics. but cant get a meta for my level to spawn anymore.
The fire ele is bugged on many servers. That might be what you are seeing.
Yeah. That’s actually been there for a number of months. I think there is another, but I’ve forgotten where. iirc, it’s a Devs mark put there as an Easter egg.

No armor, only weapons. And the drop rate is horrendously low. It’s slightly higher if exotics are used but they cost more. People have tried with thousands of weapons and spent hundreds of golds without getting one.
To try for a specific precursor you put in 4 of the same types. Such as 4 daggers to get the precursor for a dagger. Four random weapons will give a random precursor.

Yep, the game has both glowy wings and bows that shoot unicorns with the ANet logo on their butt. It also has cutesie backpacks such as the Quaggan one. And if they have all of these then Olbas objections are meaningless
When you delete characters, you only delete them and what items are in their personal inventory. You will keep all items in your bank and wallet. Be sure to log on to each character first and check for items you want to keep.

Here is the exact process to ensure you keep your goods and get the world transfer, too:
1. Log into each character.
2. By doing so, that character’s currency items will be moved to the wallet.
3. Move other items (not saved in the Wallet) to your bank.
4. Delete characters.
5. Choose new home world.
6. The Wallet will be on the account and accessible when you create a new character in your new home world.

the only thing you can do now is to contact support. Unfortunately if you sent it to the wrong person, I don’t think there is anything they can do. They won’t take it away from that person because all items sent are considered gifts and they probably won’t tell you the name either. If you are lucky the person will log on and send it back. Otherwise it may be gone for good.
Personally, I would prefer if there was an option to automatically toggle townclothes when you enter a major city.
But town clothes as armor? Hell no. The last thing we need is a bunch of dorks running around wearing top hats and boxing gloves while swinging around a Twilight.

If they look claw like, it’s because it’s a Necromancer armor from Guild Wars 1. Each profession there had a specific look. With necromancers, they had claw like hands. as you can see from a the image below. This game doesn’t have the profession specific armor. The only ones claw like are the ones like the achieve ones, such as the ones from the achievement chests.
She may need to delete old emails first. If she has 10 or more undeleted emails, she will be unable to get more. If she has deleted old mail and still doesn’t get the items then you will need to contract support and see if they can help you.
ANet has no jurisdiction on other people’s websites. How can ANet even close down someone else’s website. It’s very difficult for even the law to do anything. What is their physical address? Does the country they are in have laws against it? Do the police there have time to take action against them, assuming they can find them? Since these people can switch from one web address to another whenever they want, how can they even be tracked?
There isn’t one, sorry. The titles for jumping come from doing SAB. Distinctions in Applied Jumping are for getting 15 achieves in World one. Honors In Applied Jumping are for getting 13 achieves in World 2.
It’s a bug or something. It routes through the servers in Texas and sometime this shows up as the IP.

Considering how often the evil little brother or the vengeful girlfriend situation has come up, maybe they should have something. Maybe put in your password or something.
Another thing I wish they would change is skills that are buffs for you will target nearby mobs. Such as warhorn skill 5 on the ranger. What this does here is cause my pet to attack any nearby mob, including yellow mobs, that I am running by. On my warrior, the warhorn speed boost skill will cause my character to strike a nearby mob I am running by. Which means of course that I enter combat and slow down right when I am trying for a speed boost. Skills that are buffs for you or allies only shouldn’t agro nearby mobs.
Yah. A pain. I’m over halfway done, over the course of a year, but I didn’t make a list or realize I would need one since achieve points weren’t important back then. Oh well, just do them all over I guess.

As to the gold seller thing, that is the forum filter. It automatically has that message tied in to certain word combinations.
Make sure you got the new POIs and waypoints added from the living story. If you have them then you might just have to do it the hard way. Go into each map and pull up Guild Wars 2 wiki. Find the list of POIs, wps, and skill points for each. Them just check and verify each one on the list.
Unfortunately no, there’s not. They have no way to restore characters besides an account rollback and that is only offered to accounts that have been hacked.

Hmm, well IMO : It’s account bound, so has value affecting all of your characters, also you might want to consider jukitten salvaging items below lvl 70 or so. And remember you can use any kit, including rough and get the same amount of essence of magic. You can buy rough salvage kits at many hearts for karma and you can buy both fine and rough ones for karma at cultural weapon sellers in the cities (besides LA). I buy a bunch of rough ones every time a daily requires spending karma. You can get a bunch of them on those days.
