If it was ANet’s security that was the problem then there would be a flood of people on the forum with complaints about security breaches. Not the trickle we see here. This indicates the problem is on your side, not theirs.
These people have both you email and your password. You need to change both.
You should make another security sweep of your computer, being sure to check for keyloggers. Then get a new, unique email. After you have that done that you should go to support at the top of the page and then go to "ask a question’. From there you should change your email. You should also change your password to something not used at any other site.
If you change both your email and password to one not used at any other site and you still get this, this means you have a keylogger and need to get rid of them
Wht you are suggesting sounds like the districting system in Guild Wars 1. When you entered an outpost (a town) it assigned you to the lowest numbered (most crowded) district with a space available. You could also switch districts. To a less crowded one or to a more crowded district if a space opened up.
If you want to, you can contact support and do a self report on the name. If they agree then they will give you a free name change option. This will avoid having your account possibly suspended in the future.
Nothing about it being wrong the first time; still, there are few details. I know I’ve seen others, but this one wasn’t posted too long ago.

I have read, very rarely, of accounts with more than one restoration. I have no idea why they were granted more than one, but you can look through the posts here, and maybe get some clue as to what the requirements are for a second restoration. Good luck. =)
The ones I have read where they got a second one is where the date of the first one was done incorrectly. It was way before the hack, like weeks to months, or it was after then hack. In that case they give a second one because support messed up. I’ve never seen one where there was a second hack and someone got a second rollback.
For example, one guildie was hacked in early August and the account rollback was to April or May.
One thing ANet could do, is offer an upright body option with a upright running animation as a makeover kit. Those who want it can switch. Those who prefer the old posture can keep it. If they did this then there might be more people playing Charr.
Of course people would then complain about having to buy a separate kit, but I suspect it can’t easily be integrated into the original character creation or the original total makeover kit.
I’m assuming you’ve already gotten your account back and have tightened the security on your computer. If you have, update your original ticket and ask for an account rollback.
From what other people have said, it’s common for hackers to strip characters of armor and weapons, salvage it and delete the characters. It’s not personal, it’s business. If they get only one ecto or ori from salvaging all your gear, they come out ahead.
As to a second rollback, it’s policy for ANet to only offer one per account per the lifetime of the account. Corporations don’t make exceptions on policy rules. You’re going to have to start over again.

It’s amazing how many times people come here and say how innocent they are, then Gaile posts and says what they actually said. This tends to make people skeptical when someone posts and says they never, ever said anything wrong and yet somehow got a suspension.
It wouldn’t hurt for them to revamp some titles at least. A title for doing all the Slayer achieves or all the weapon mastery achieves for example. Right now there is a title for carving up a few pumpkins but there is none available for 5000 kills with every weapon in the game.
The catch might be the previous transfer then. You can contact support and see if they can help you. Otherwise you might have to wait if that’s the problem.

You have no one to blame but yourselves, after many TC players advertised it as the unofficial meta server several months back. Which I found funny at the time because they just wanted more people to come to their server to make it even more popular than it could handle.

I used all minions while leveling. They keep the mobs off you so you can kill without dying so often yourself. I also used staff and scepter/dagger while leveling. After you have some traits then melee range combat is easier.
Eh. Not everyone roll plays. In fact I had never heard of roll playing or immersion in a game until right before this game started and there was a thread about non role playing names. I’ve always only played single player games and then Guild Wars 1 and it was a totally new concept. “You do what? You pretend to be those pixels? Okaaay.” Since its pretty much a foreign concept to me, I’m not going to make a ‘lore friendly’ name. For one thing I consider those names as dull as dishwater. I pick names that are more like titles I guess. Astral Projections on my Mesmer. Sandy Claws for my Charr. Stuff like that.
I have a Charr ele. My main gripe is the armor. Why would Charr, which used to hate humans and are still not fond of them, why would they wear HUMAN appearing armor? Even the cultural armor is not special to them. Sylvari have leaf cultural armor. Charr have human knockoffs. Pants, skirts, long sleeved shirts, shoes and gloves (on a clawed race). They should have access to armor that shows off the fur. Loincloths. Straps that cross the chest. Bands on the wrists and ankles instead of gloves and shoes.
If its been 3 days since you last heard from support you should post in the stickied thread Tickets For Review (3 days and older) for Gaile to look at.
I would say it depends on the value of the exotic. For example, I got a level 80 scepter yesterday that was worth less than a gold, about 75 silver. So I salvaged it even though I have no immediate plans to make ascended weapons. You might decide a cutoff value point. Anything below, salvage. Above, sale.

It is indeed an epic journey on the way to your Legendary. Wallets are brutally emptied. Picks and axes are wielded upon hapless nodes without mercy. Many a harrowing trek is made to the furtherest reaches of the Trading Post. Virgin sacrificial weapons are flung into the hungering maw of the RNG God until grudgingly he spits out your precursor. And snickers.
The Devs don’t want it in the game, at least at the time this article was written.

True, but for other things which are cluttering the bank it is an option. I was able to condense all my dust down into bricks so that wasn’t really an issue. As for the other t6 and t5 materials I have my Elder Wood and Mithril/ Orichalcum and ancient wood all setting safely in my guild bank to allow my soul/account bound items to do my stash cluttering for me.

There’s a problem with your plan, and that’s the fact that no one in their right mind would sell an Ascended weapon. The primary way of getting them is through spending gold, or grinding like a crazy person to get the mats. Rings however don’t require as much of a grind to obtain. Not only that, but your more likely to get a ring as a drop than a weapon.
In my opinion, the current way we have it set is fine due to how “common” the rings are in juxtaposed to weapons.
The primary way to get them may be through crafting, but they are also available as rare drops. Now if you are using full Beserkers and lets say you get a weapon you don’t use for stats you don’t use. You can’t salvage it and you can’t sell it on the TP. So, that leaves vendering it or leaving it in your bank.
I would go ahead and pick one. If it should happen to bug out, you will probably completely lose that chest. I suspect that Support will be unable to help you based on answers to other similar questions. Just pick one for a weapon that needs a nice skin. There will be more chances later.
That’s something you will need to make a ticket for. This forum is more for people with lost passwords or appealing a suspension/ban. Issues like that. You might also make a post in Game Bugs forum
Type /age in chat to make sure your character is 365 days old. If it is, then make sure your mail is cleaned out. Having 10 or more mail will stop you from getting more. If that doesn’t work, you may need to contact support.
Soulbound on equipt? Then no. There isn’t a way to reverse this. Sorry.
If your Mesmer is level 80, then you can leave her somewhere like Frostgorge and do a daily harvest of ori and ancient wood. There is almost always one ori node in the general Jomag area between Earthshake wp, Path of Starry Skies wp, and Slough of Despond wp. There is frequently an ancient wood in that area also.

I believe the Orb is still giving +power but the text is missing on the tooltip. Regardless, we have the issue in the tracker and we’ll have it fixed as soon as we can.
