There is a difference between airing your complaints and being petulant.

There is a time threshold between airing complaints and becoming frustrated. You either haven’t been playing WvW for very long or your expectations for it were far lower than the rest of us. Being ignored, or worse … being bullkittened with endless “soons” … leads to petulance from the most patient of us. If we still actually give a kitten, that is. Anybody who progressed past petulance has left the building.

No i am frustrated, i just choose to conduct myself better than many in this thread. We need more WvW objectives, more maps, new maps, more ways to assault and defend, GvG areas, new guild features, but i will discuss their merits and advocate for them rather than kick and scream that this game sucks and i am going to go leave it for the next kitten game on the market

Whining about whining is as ironic as it gets on the internet. You know whats more sickening, the fact that some people just cant take in the idea that people have complaints about the game they play. Telling people to go away does not solve the issue, and you would have to blind to not observe the dwindling population in wvw (and in sPVP for that matter).

Thankfully, PVE is in a good place right now and is incredibly profitable. Hopefully the live stream on friday will be more definitive and less about soon.

ME is the classiest guild on mags. They generally seem to keep a low profile and let the actions speak for them. Also probably the most talented too. Even with the new transfers.

What is really sad is TC and DB can’t hold a candle to maguuma guilds or pugs. I’ve seen this firsthand. Your roamers get their kitten kicked and call in the Zerg to kill them. If both servers didn’t have night coverage and the odds were even, TC and DB are worse than servers 3-4 tiers under them. I’ve had better fights against the old anvil rock. Sad really

10/10 would read again, sources of laughter are so few and far apart. Keep feeding your egos while we keep slapping y’all around. Though TO YOUR CREDIT, my fights with Mag are usually a bit more hard fought than my fights with DB- though this could be because of playstyle.

I think comparing the server winning by 60k after 2.5 days with the server that is constantly outnumbered is a great idea that provides a lot of merit to your argument.

The merit of my argument rests on the similarity of behaviors. If you want to chastise one group for acting in one manner then give a pass to a group for acting the same way that’s fine, but expect to be called out on it once and a while. Similar behaviours in entirely different situations. Yes by collapsing everyone to one map and playing defensive they have enough to defend mag BL. Should that group not be playing more defensive than the server with a massive lead and zergs on all four maps?

You are bemoaning TC for defending TC bl while ignoring Mag doing the same for Mag bl. Only so many people can fit on a map.

Send the message to him then. TC has been in this tier for how long? And he’s complaining about blobbing during a server’s prime? And if he’s talking about just now, he’s also complaining about 10 minion master necros who are wiping groups twice their size. Minion masters should never wipe anything.

I am lamenting the fact that i have in the past enjoyed fighting maguumas smaller groups especially as someone who likes to do stuff like solo roam and that as of today in this match-up i have been seeing them less and less. I know how to fight in large groups and with large groups, but i personally find small group fights more enjoyable.

So do I. Mag offers plenty of small group fights. But you can’t act like zerging around is something new.

I miss the days where we would fight opponents with a mutual sense of respect and good sportsmanship. A game’s pvp community will endure polarization but not the regression of maturity (this is concerning quality and not popularity of course).

I am not complaining about even numbers. I am also bummed when we massively outnumber our opponents. Personally i like to do small group play the most so blobbing in general doesn’t sit well with me, but thanks for your hostility- it is always refreshing.

I did a P/D build: 0/0/30/20/20 with bowl of meat and winter vegetable soup with a quality tuning crystal. Utilities were hide in shadows, shadowstep, caltrops, blidning powder, and thieves guild. Took me roughly 5 tries in full carrion exotics with 5 runes of the krait.

I run around, kill some guards, few players and occasionally manage to solo camps, but I honestly fail to see how am I helping my server. I mean, it’s fun to troll people with stealth and annoy them, but in the end, isn’t, for example, support Guardian more productive? I may not get 12345 player kills but at least I’ helping other people , zergs etc.

My primary occupation as a thief is to run havoc, scout, and clip my opponents back line. All three are immensely useful and often well received.

There is some luck but; if you pay attention and get the timing right; it’s not luck at all.

What i am fairly certain they were attempting to tell you is that your success isn’t fully luck dependent. Luck is a factor but how much of a factor it is depends on your movement and pattern recognition, thus saying if you recognize the pattern and make better spatial assessments and you will find the dependency on luck your completion has will be greatly diminished.

The issue was resolved after running a repair extension on the GW2 client.

After repairing my issue was resolved.

I have a similar issue except my graphics are purple pink and white- i am running a repair on the client.

So most of my map, the new pieces of the pavillion and my item icons specific with the patch are all pink,purple, white mixed squares of gibberish. Any suggestions or has anyone suffered the same?
