Anet need to stop the emote showing in chat after someone has spammed it 3 times, then. Walking around LA and seeing 30 emotes is ridiculous.

These Maps are capped at 75 players. 10 players at each boss = 60 people. A Few more at any of them and you have your 75. I don’t get why there is complaints about this being ‘bad design.’ Just because you can’t pay attention to Map chat doesn’t make it bad design. I means you’re a bad communicator. How hard is it to speak up in Map chat when you enter an organized run and wait to see what people say. There are bosses that can take heavy scaling very well and there is ALWAYS a place for someone if they are willing to communicate with the rest of the group. Organizing these maps while inherently seems easy, it really takes some effort and willingness by “leaders” of groups to keep things in order. You blatantly coming in without forethought of others is a problem, its not an ANet Problem either, its yours. There are several things “wrong” with this event, the scaling is not really one of them since ANet took that into account already by lowering the cap of Pavilion Maps to 75.

*Footnote: We know the cap is 75 through testing of our guild Boss Blitz Bros Organizing maps. So, yes it is confirmed the map cap is lower than the standard 150/300 people.

People will be afk or doing the gauntlet.

I and others have been hit by boss attacks while in the gauntlet itself, so people up there probably are counted.

Maybe as it applies to in-game content and what is a fair allotment of it with regards to the many, many different players and the time they can afford to devote to these pursuits of entertainment VS serious responsibilities and commitments within their personal lives?

3. How do you ruin the emote system? Is it really that bad to see my little asura cheer over and over 8D ? How does this affect you in anyway? For me and my friends it sure made the emotes system a lot more FUN

The chance will always drop a festival token. It also has a rare chance to drop other things. 1 in a million chance for the backpiece recipe…

You can be suppressed in the pavillion for saying a single line. It was bugged like this last year as well. I think it is the announcers.

Personally, I have no issue with a few high value items having a ridiculously low drop rate (and Im one that has not gotten it as a drop). As long as its not overdone with too many items or includes something that provides an unfair advantage if acquired, I think it adds a little something to strive for .

And HUGE LOL at the people blaming the gem store. This has nothing to do with the gem store or forcing people to buy gems. People need to stop watching so many X Files reruns.

People really need to get this in their heads: adding numbers to a boss fight in the pavillion is not helping. You don’t get extra rewards for killing multiple bosses, and ignoring requests to back off a particular boss is only making the event take much, much longer for you and everyone else. There is no reason for you to be there, and showing up when there are already plenty of people is just making it worse.

There’s no point arguing over how you think it “should” work. You can either deal with the circumstances of the encounter, or get Bronze every time.

This happened to me once. I ran to the gauntlet as the last boss was being finished off (stupid scaling prevents joining in…) and did not get the chest when it finished. Like you though, I got the karma, etc.

The scaling is a massive exponential curve, insted of a linear one. It is completely messed up.

This is wrong. The gold/silver/bronze are what should encourage people to split up and work together. The boss scaling so that 20 people take 10 times as long to kill it as 6 would is stupid, and there is no reason for it. You cannot even help after your boss

Working as intended. I think it’s good that more servers had/have a chance on a “better” reward. It only means that coverage was less important then ppl thought in the beginning. Smart play and using the point distribution is rewarded in this case.

There have ben large-scale tests of the MF rates for precursors, and in the case of them dropping directly from mobs, one in 2-5 million doesn’t seem at all implausible.

Unfortunately is has to be that way with the scaling otherwise if would just devolve right back into the usual “zerg it down instead of playing well” mentality.

On a side note I beat her with a staff guardian only while using a shout condi cleanse build, not specced for DPS. Continue please.

I beat her on a warrior and elementalist. The fight is still horrendous and needs some serious work.

Hardcore content is fine. Buggy, laggy, horrible camera and gimmicky content is not.
