azure did you even read the first post? ^^
Yes. But my response was not to you.
I severely doubt reporting someone for spamming an instrument is a reportable offence when there’s essentially a mute toggle. Taking a screenshot or going as far as to record them doing so is a bit much. I don’t really have a word for it so I’m going to go with crazy. It’s crazy. And stupid.
ANet has stated many times before that they do not consider measures to prevent mistreatment as excuses for their tolerance. If you don’t wish to do anything about it, then you’ve no right to complain, in which case I don’t know why you’re taking part in the conversation.
I don’t consider it griefing.
The people who get annoyed by this are the people who complain about every thing.
You won’t see any action against some thing for “noise pollution”. Especially when there is a volume slider if it isn’t some thing you like.
The gold sinks are needed to fight inflation. Without them, we’d eventually be paying 2G for an 8 Slot Bag.
I can get 8 slot bags for free. No gold needed.
I personally think WvW should be out of world completion. At the same time legendaries should also be out of WvW. Keep the shinies PVE only.
No.
I am from sea of sorrows. I have map completion. Your argument is invalid.
I would understand the argument about the exploding presents if you didn’t get an area to stand in and wait. PPL should not be complaining. Yes, it’s random. Don’t try to figure it out. Just be the first to go (usually just before the blue presents show up) and you won’t have a problem.
Or if you see that everybody is lazily waiting, just choose the 3rd option and reset the presents for everybody. You’re losing 2 gifts but you’re saving time.
I prefer the fourth option. Simply jump up the presents and laugh at every one still waiting there.
*shrug..
i just put the excess mats in a 15-slot bag and then put that bag in my bank…… next time i wanna use those silly dusts or whatever stackings, i just take the bag into my inventory bag slot and use them…
but of course, convenience are convenience…. this is good game…. support ANET…
What is this putting a full bag into your bank wizardry you speak of?
Im just wondering why the puzzle resets itself. I finish the evil present part, land on the other platform, I get warped back to the beginning. I make it further next time to the snow boulders, I’m standing on the candy platform waiting for the boulder to roll by, and I get warped back to the beginning.
I then get passed the boulders to the last presents area, and I’m jumping and whamo, warped back to the beginning.. what gives?
You are lagging/out of sync with the server. It thinks you are dying/falling.
Or just do the jp at the NE corner in LA. Only takes a minute to do.
That’s not the point. Consistency is the issue here.
Scarlet is the type to keep grudges.
Allying with her is like slapping a sign on your back that says “stab knife here.”
You didn’t miss much.
And it did say “fractal fortnight.”
For the dailies and monthlies like clock tower did?
bahaha you are one of those, ar isn’t op hun
Initiative regen isn’t op… hun.
All I see is crying, if you can’t hit the 5k damage to make ar useless then you you should change your play style when dealing with it. I change my play style when dealing with 2 spamming thieves or healing signet heroes. Make adjustments and stop forum qq’ing.
Maybe you should take your own advice.

This is Anet we’re talking about.
I have a new question. Why does this not count as daily puzzle jumper and clock tower did?
The only thing I really hate is how there is a WvW-size zerg of people running the kitten ed jumping puzzle in unison. I much preferred smaller groups so I wouldn’t have to deal with that massive list of people on the side of the screen and like twelve people trying to jump on top of each other.
I’m the opposite. The puzzle feels alive that way.
Be very good at jumping.
Please elaborate. How do you cross the presents? Because I’ve been trying dozens of ways to cross those things, but once one player has set a few of them off, it is like they are rigged to instantly kill the next person trying to go across.
You have to jump in a straight line quickly. Only works for one person before the entire lot explodes.
Good thing I look sweet in my PVE and PVP clothes.
There is a trick to do the exploding presents whilst the blue parcels have appeared.
No waiting involved.
So far my record is completing the puzzle 15 times within the 30 min timer.
What do you do when someone has already crossed the exploding presents, and the thing doesn’t reset?

How about less complaining until you’ve done all the content?
My sole problem is with the wind. There doesn’t seem to be any way to anticipate or avoid it so it is all luck on whether you make it. Does anyone have any solution for the wind or is it just RNG instant fail?
Yes.
Clock tower lost its number 1 spot when they turned other players into wisps.
The post above pretty much explains it all. There is a way to make it, even if you’re jumping in a large group.
The only criticism I have about the gifts is that they don’t all explode once the first explosion has been triggered. Sometimes the first group makes it to the top so fast that more than half of the presents remain, at which point you’ll see a large crowd of people waiting around the campfire for ‘that one idiot’ who thinks he’s gonna make it and drop to his inevitable death.
Hahaha this!
And it’s funny every time!

…and I love it!
It’s replacing clock tower as top spot jumping puzzle now.
Short answer:
No.
Long answer:
Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo-
What happened to soft wood?
You are not the first to reach level 80 in the tutorial area. Some Charr did it a while ago.
As for Shaemoor. Probably not the first for that either considering how much time has passed already.
I don’t think any one knows and are as clueless as the two other posters in this thread. We’ll find out in 3 days.
If people start zerging southsun. The prices of Karka shell is going to drop and then it won’t be best gold per hour any more.
Troll’s end. So easy and quick.
I definitely agree with everyone who thinks darker nights would make the game more immersive. There’s another thing that a lot of modern games tend to overlook when it comes to immersion, though. That is weather.
Morrowind is one of my favorite RPGs of all time for quite a few reasons. However, one of the many things it nailed was the weather. When in solstheim, you knew when there was a blizzard. Like a blanket of snow falling down on you and low visibility. You knew when it was raining while exploring the bitter coast region and navigating the swamp, the game made you fully aware of the weather around you and it made the game that much more immersive and helped set the mood.
It’s rare for me to notice the weather effects in a lot of RPGs nowadays, and it does hurt immersion in my opinion. Not to mention could you imagine what a dark, stormy sky mixed with a dark night would do to make just about anything creepy?
There is weather in Guild Wars 2. But it is not randomized.
Would be nice if Night… was… actually Night.
Would breath some fresh air into the gate with some light mechanics going on.
At the moment the world feels static. Not to mention not seemless with instances galore.
Immersion in this game is completely zero.
Nothing is sacred. Every nerf is permitted.
I like how people finally made the connection after my post.
Hammering away with a ’don’t touch this’ sign screams that song.
I put aoe loot on my J key and reflexively tap J anytime something seems to be dying near me. I don’t have to see the bags to get them.
What planet do you come from that makes that even remotely comfortable to press that key with one hand on the mouse and the other using WASD?
So we have green and red in use.
Why not make the Resurrection state a blue bar?
If a thief is blind spamming you. They’re giving some thing up in order to spam that blind. Exploit that.
Ride the lightning was OP because it was unaffected by conditions, really long range, low cool down and a knockdown. Name a warrior skill that does all that then I will agree it should be nerfed. Don’t forget now it halves the cool down when it hits so not a nerf when used to fight
The original 1500 hidden range was OP and deserved a change, however otherwise I think it was balanced with Warriors GS rush. Ride the Lightning is affected by conditions, but it also isn’t affected by swiftness (like every warrior mobility skill) and is one of the only mobility skills eles have.
Ride the Lightning either needs to be reverted, or, better yet, several Warrior (and some other professions) mobility skills need a +25%-50% cooldown when used without a target (and RotL should be buffed so it’s only +5-10 seconds when used without a target rather than 20 seconds when it doesn’t hit a player).
This guy gets it.

You’ve never used the skill ride the lightning have you?
Don’t we think it’s time to do the same for Warrior’s mobility skills?
I play mesmer, warrior and ranger – warrior is the least powerful of the 3. What a bunch of stupid whiners.
You heard it here first from this guy folks.
Ranger: stronger than warrior.
Dredge is not that bad. I also like the boss mechanics at the end.
Did I mention I was a thief?
This is horrible mechanic that needs to be removed. How did this make it into the game? I can’t believe there are not more people complaining about this! On top of this, I’m pretty sure there is no way to tell from the UI who the party leader even is. This makes kicking a DC from the party feel like a game of russian roulette.
Ask every one who started the instance. If no one answers. The person offline is the leader.
Is communicating with other players so hard?
But yeah. The mechanic itself is silly.
The problem being discussed tough is that NEW infused items don’t come with a 5 agony infusion already, but have an empty slot instead. So, “old infused item” was a given 5 AR + empty versatile slot (5AR). “New infused item” is now 0 AR + empty versatile slot (5 AR) + empty agony slot (+x AR).
Many words simply to say that new infused items now have 0AR instead of 5AR, as it was the case before.
Anet stated those who already had an infused item would have the free +5 agony upon update.
New infused items would be blank. This is working as intended.
Yeah, level 50. What about level 51 ?
Anet told us that there are 19 instabilities meaning that scale 50 does not have any. Maybe this scale has increased agony damage (more than it should have) until they unlock 10 more scales at which point scale 60 has increased agony damage and scale 50 gets its own instability.
Of course after resetting everyone to scale 30 because they have not completed scale 50 properly (with correct instability). It could be used as a reason for resetting progression.
Maybe level 50 has every instability.
I got an error when I tried to touch one of the thumpers.
