This seems to be a very generic error that is on no way related to Guildwars 2.

Considering g600 copied Naga’s most important feature (12 thumb buttons), it’s basically the same mouse from the standpoint of comparison.
So, it’s more or less just a question of quality and personal preference. I’ve had my Naga for 3-4 years and during that time I had to repair my left mouse button (a tiny drop of super glue solved it), but other than that I’ve had no problems at all. I have no experience with g600.
Also a question of the size of your hands. Personally since i have smaller hands
i must say that the Naga is better for me.
For quality i would say the G600 is better, have often problem where my cursor
doesn’t move for a while on the Naga .. but at least it seems cleaning the sensor
with alcohol helps for a while.

IMHO the reason why the community was nicer in the past was that the
content was so easy and mostly couldn’t fail. Nobody is calling people names
when a Worldboss takes a little longer .. but if it fails .. then i begins. So in the end, the more ANet listens to the “make it harder, give us more fails” croud
the more toxic the map chat will get.Difficulty is not a problem, TTW isn’t toxic. This event isn’t hard, if anything it is super easy. There are no rewards, that is the problem.
What is TTW ? I know that there are at least a lot of discussions about people
wanting to kick other players out of SW because they are AFK or even want
to report them or whatever.
Never heared anything like that for example at Shatterer or Clawmag and
especially never before the fail timers where introduced.
Also i wouldn’t say that SW is hard .. but it has a decent failchance, and if it
fails then people always seek someone to blame for.
Oh .. and the “no reward” idea is also someting that came from the community
i think .. so that only people who “work hard” are worthy to get loot and that
it is not “just another farmfest where you only spam #1”

Because, like you said, it takes much, much less storage.
Maybe the location tamed is an artifact of a time when they didn’t have nearly as many useable pets, and it was simply easier not to remove the feature.
That little space is not really a problem when i think about what they all save
on accountbount stuff. For example they have to save for each available map
and ervy actual IP of the map which node you have harvest at what time.
And then the constant database query that run each step you makr to check
those data to show you the correct version of the node on the mini-map.
Ok, the last was offtopic, but that little bit data will surely not really be a
problem. Its really just that somebody needs the time and will to sit down
and redesign how it works and someone else has to redesign some fields
in the database.

You may want to give Macrium Reflect a look. It is free and appears to have a real good cloning function and does not suffer from several drawbacks other programs seem to have (such as some requiring the disk to be cloned to be unmounted). However, I have not tried it myself due to being happy with True Image.
http://www.macrium.com/reflectfree.aspxOther free alternatives can be found here:
https://alternativeto.net/software/acronis-true-image
Looks really good, since my old Acronis doesn’t install under Win 10.
Did just a bakup that really went fast and without slowing down my PC and
mounted the images as an extra drive to test that.
Thanks for that tip

I can understand there being restrictions for those who are playing for free, but I’m confused why there are restrictions in place for those of us who have paid.
The moment my credit card payment went through I should have been given access.
Its mostly that RMT farmers can’t do much when they buy accounts from
stolen credit cards that are mostly detected and shut down after a few days.

Maybe armor sets will become ingame rewards and outfits as store items?
That has already been written .. the big question is only : how grindy will it be
to get those rewards. When i look at the history of this game everytime when
ANet made some things that people in these forums cried for, it in the end
turned out to be just worse.
I hate raids, and i don’t want tocan get new armor only when i force myself to
“work hard” in raids. Thats not what i call fun.
Ah and here is the blogpost :
https://www.guildwars2.com/en/news/hidden-arcana-developer-spotlight-on-crystin-cox/
Crystin felt there should be a greater balance between Gem Store item offerings and in-game rewards, and she and the rewards and commerce teams have worked on creating a clear division so that items will fit their method of distribution. For example, armor sets are now exclusively designed as in-game rewards while outfits are primarily Gem Store offerings.

Devs, could you take a look at this problem? Today i had a few MB of patch, and since that i had 2 BSOD with Code 124 and a crash. Yesterday it worked fine :S
BSODs are caused either by defect/overclocked hardware or driver problems.
http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/answers/id-2632598/bsod-bccode-124.html
BSOD BCCode: 124 usualy a hardware issue can happen for overheating, driver conflict/issues corrupted file etc increase/decreasr voltage often resolves but not always.

Anybody with the sound bug not using Realtek Onboard Sound ?
Best MMOs are the ones that never make it. Therefore Stargate Online wins.
I’m afraid it is not this black and white.
A BSOD is caused cause an application, service or driver is giving instructions to the kernel that can’t be performed. Cause those instructions, in the case of games, are often given by the GPU-driver, often that is the cause. But the game also gives direct instructions.
Nope .. Applications can not give instructions directly to the kernel mode
and can’t cause a BSOD. All they can do are giving instructions do the driver
and the driver causes the BSOD because the instruction is badly implemented.

Blue screens are generally caused by problems with your computer’s hardware or issues with its hardware driver software. Standard software shouldn’t be able to cause blue screens — if an application crashes, it will do so without taking the operating system out with it. Blue screens are caused by hardware problems and issues with low-level software running in the Windows kernel.

Future content : new armor skins only from raids.
If you don’t like raids you have to live with outfits.
At least that is what i really fear at the moment
It was at least said that there will not be any more armor skins in the shop
and they will only be earnable directly in the game.

Overall and in the long-run, it depends really on how many limitations there are on the precursor crafting/scavenger hunt.
For instance, if the scavenger hunt is so time consuming (or requires completion of difficult content) then I can’t imagine that the precursor price on TP will drop that much. It might be so laborious that it could take a similar amount of time grinding/farming gold to buy the precursor in the first place.
Of course, even though the crafted precursors will be account-bound, this would mean that there would be less demand overall for the precursors on the TP. The question is, will the supply of precursors be the same when HoT releases as it is now? Maybe fewer people will be throwing weapons into the forge and be spending their gold on the new content?
Yeah .. also if the prices drop maybe less players are motivated to gamble at
the mystic forge and in the end the precursors also will not drop in price
because there is less supply-
And at the moment i wouldn’t even be surprised if you have to do raids
for the precurser hunt.

Simple solution for new players, or those hurting on waypoint fees – do a little harvesting between ports. I think many would be surprised how easily this subsides, if not entire covers, waypoint expenses (in addition to tool costs).
Exactly .. harvesting the next node often gives you 3-7 silver worth on mats and so
the WP costs are not really an issue as they were in the beginning were those mats
were only worth some copper.

how long do you people look at loading screen? I look at it maybe 5 or 7 second. 15 second at worst.
I simply look a lot at loading screens since i am a big fan of gathering and i have
19 characters .. then i also try to switch /ip’s if there are mor then one for a map.
So in the end i mostly relog every 5-15 minutes, and sometimes even every 2-3.
I understand when it is on loading screen for players with only core game account, but it looks stupid when player has already bought HoT and it’s on loading screen for HoT map.
Because the game is one identical client for every single person who plays? Because they don’t have a way to program some people to have one loading screen and others to have another? Because the game doesn’t have a way to check your purchases? Because it would be waaaaaay to much trouble to set up two sets of loading screens based on purchases, especially for an event lasting only a few days? Because seeing the same advertisement as someone else is a first world problem?
Oh cmon .. every move you make in an MMO mostly triggers some database
query .. to make a query about your account status at the loading screen would
be really a very small problem.

Mostly a problem of your mousedriver / software. You should look if that
company, that i never heared of, has updates and maybe forums where you
could ask for help.
For example on a Razer Naga or Logitech G600 you just map the extra buttons
to keyboard keys like 1-0 and when you click them in Notepad you are writing
that number while in GW2 you simply activate that key.
Also the software can detect what program you are using so you can have
different profiles for different games.

Its annoying as hell on the loading screens for me at least, its maybe simply

later.

I really hate instanced content in this game, since if you have a disconnect you have
to restart the whole things why in other games you can reenter the instance if you
relog in the next 5-15 minutes normally, since the leave the instance open for that
time.

Out of curiosity, do you have any proof that they screwed up their engine and cannot do SAB because of it?
They just said that they had in the end modify the complete world to change
collision points or whatever, and a lot people assume that they didn’t have done
that with SAB till now, and thats the reason they can not simply enable it.

What a lot of people seem to ignore is that a condi build also does direkt damage
with most of their attacks, so power and precision still boost your damage.
Also a lot of traits trigger on critical hits so that high precsision is also very welcome
on condi builds.
Secondary damage stats mostly come frome runes and sigills like more condi duration
or since burning is at the moment the best condition, more burning duration.
Runes of Balthasar are actually not bad if you have a build with quite some burning.
For example if i use an Engineer and just camp bombs with rampagers gear and
Balthasar Runes and the Sigill that gives 20% burning duration i have 8 seconds
burning on my 2 skill what is also the recast, and i have constant 2k burning
per tick and also 2k direkt damage.
Ofc there are mor skills for more burning .. but the direct damage is still something
that still makes a part of your total damage.
