NP .. seems to be a very common problem these days, and i begin to wonder if
some mainboards are just produced so cheap .. or whatever.

I see no reason to leave a map because of chat .. you can ignore it. Much worse
is only when people jump around you all the time, because you can’t make
them invisible.

I have experienced a massive fps drop after the patch. It seems to not be related to graphics settings as I tried to set everything to low and still got around 12-15 fps (even in not crowded zones). Before the patch i used to run the game at maximum settings (set by the autodetect tools in options) and everything went smooth, i suspect this could be something related to the recent update.
Any clues?
P.s. posting a pic of my PC’s specs just in case (even if everything were ok before the patch)

Your GPU runs @x1 1.1 instead of @x16 2.0 or 3.0

Make shure it is in the correct slot, normally the one next to your CPU and if so
reseat it in case there are contact problems.

Anet just doesn’t like conjures, they don’t know how to gently swing the nerf hammer. Fiery greatsword got turned to dust and the ice bow will almost definitely go the same way.

ANet created the conjures, so they have liked them .. they mostly just haven’t expected
that some were so badly abused that it will be a problem. Oh and then there are also
always those people complaining that all content is too easy. Funny often the exact
same people that abuse those skills to death .. and then they wonder why it gets
nerfed.

Watchwork pick for the sprockets

Consortium Sickle or Molten Sickle for fastes animation. They don’t make you
kneel, you use them like a golf club more or less. On the other sickles from the
shop you can however interrupt the animation as soon as you see that you
have your herbs if you move, so in that case they are also a little faster.

Logging axes are more or less the same, just different skins and some have a
channeled animation like frostwarp and bone axe.

Also another tip : just write down the key you got from ANet somewhere else
so in case you have problems you can always wipe the whole Winauth and
recreate it.

since it is a good mix of direct and condi damage with also more survivalibity.

However all those dungeon speedrunners will ofc still also need their zerker
stuff even if they maybe really need something else in HoT content.

And also if zerker die now constantly in HoT its only the fault of the healers

na it won’t be the healers fault because the system is still based around dodging/ damage reduction through debuffs ect if a zerker dies he didn’t do enough to survive untill the healing effects kick in or he took too much damage to keep his HP sustained .

its not a holy trinity where the party only lives if the healer is good , the whole party must be good and Balanced for Survival , the druid will provide some Health sustain but it won’t keep you or them zerkers alive if they play badly or nor bring enough defences. its not as black or white as you think it is.

But .. but .. pointing with your finger on the healer is sooo much better than just
crying LAAAAAAAAAG !!!! when you messed something up

At least your GPU and CPU run at full speed .. and i would suggest to set at least
character limit to medium, else you may have OOM crashes from time to time at
worldbosses or other big events.

All other problems may be realated to NVidia drivers .. don’t know .. they release
so much crappy drivers that it often took me weeks to find the best and most
stable whenever i tried NVidia.

Strange also today i suddenly had that bug on my second account and now needed
to copy the dat from my first account back to that one.

60 FPS is fine .. everything else is mostly just heating up your GPU for something
you don’t see but only hear when the fan gets louder ^^

You have problems in EU when you are routed from the Telekom over Level 3
as seen in my first picture, if you are routed on another way there are no
problems, like in the second picture where i used my VPN.

Appdata is a hidden folder, so you have to activate it in explorer settings to see them.

Just program your own OS and they will support it .. why should they not write

My OS is called “Mon Capitan” for Q-Sx and uses the Picard Api .. and GW2

You are not gonna wait around for druid its the second most played class
but everyone tell them to re roll guardian because it sucks but there will be

Make a system restore or deinstall new driver, reinstall stable driver.

And never install new NVidia drivers when everything runs fine. The chance that
a new driver runs also stable is maybe 1/10 or 1/100 at this great company.

If we take this knowledge of the t3 part and apply it to the other stages, we will probably end up spending 30 spiritwood planks, 30 deldrimor steel ingots, and 3 legendary inscriptions (lets just assume this ranges from 5 to 30 spiritwood planks/deldrimor steel ingots total) and the cost turns out to be the same or higher for the hammer precursor than on the TP but now the collection just became a timegating punishment for crafting the precursor.

That is EXACTLY what the game is NOW – just the number of healers and tanks required is ZERO so you don’t notice it…

But that was the small difference that we needed ZERO healers .. no longer waiting
with the group because you didn’t find a healer.

Have you actually played support ele in wvw? the difference in loot between that and a staff spamming guardian is crazy. One hit from my aoe staff on a guardian tags the enemy, whereas on a ranger or ele I frequently get no credit for damage unless it hits that target 2-3 times (happens a lot on meteor shower), and bear in mind I’m spending a lot of my time in water or using other skills that aren’t constantly throwing out damage.

So you want in fact loot from ALL mobs without tagging a single one just through
spamming heals all the time even if nobody need heals ? Just run around with
healing spring as autoattack and don’t ever push any other button because
i’m a healer .. i will nerver use any of those nasty damage skills.

If you want more loot you may better ask for each class gets a ranged auto attack
that hits 3 targets .. since that is the only difference from what guardian staff has,
however then also be prepared for lowest single target damage and also a very
low range.

Here’s the problem.

If you refuse to give your efficiency link, so that people can see your gear, will you be discriminated against?

i.e. Refusing to ‘show’ your gear is equal to not having the correct gear.

Refusing to show your gear will be reason enough to exclude someone. It will happen.

So what ? This is not new, GW2 Efficiency or not. I´ve been in a GvG guild for example where you were required to give screenshots with your gear and stats. So showing your equipment has been around since release. Solution is, if you do not want to show that, play with people who don´t care about such things.

The point is, the tagging rarely gets you more than bronze participation due to the decreased/negligible damage of such builds. This obviously needs to be re-considered to make it viable outside of raids.

Then don’t heal outside of raids. Equip longbow and press 4 so that all those

Oh .. and didn’t there even was a new AoE knockback in the new skills .. so even

So hard to maybe use the “normal” 1 skill for 2 seconds .. or any of those glyphs

Mostly this .. just take a look at something like Bonettis Rapier .. at soon as something

I have heared that EVGA Precision or however it is named leads to a lot of problems
so try to turn it of or even uninstall it.

First delete / rename your local.dat if this doesn’t help make a screenshot with
GW2 running in the back and GPU-z and CPU-z in front like this :

I had that the first time yesterday after i changed my SSD from IDE to AHCI mode,
however my second account worked fine so i just copied the local.dat from that
account to my first and changed the login data there.

So all your 5 weapon skills and all your utilitys just heal and do absolutely no damage ?

If the answer is no .. where is the problem ?

There is not really much to uninstall .. in the end you just need to delete the
files and the shortcut.
The biggest file is the gw2.dat so if you delete it you will of course have to
download it again .. however if it is not to save the space then i don’t know
why you want to delete it at all.

So your special uninstall would maybe be to just delete the shortcut from
your Desktop

Local.dat is under \Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Guild Wars 2

Thanks for your replies, I tried the windowed mode and it still went to black screen, it seems to happen more often when I try to complete an instance. I cant progress because it boots me out and I have to restart.

In windowed mode, does only the game window gets black or your complete screen ?
For me it was only the game window while i could still see and use my windows
taskbar, and mostly i also saw an error message at the tray that the video drivers
had crashed and were resetted.

Just move the complete Folder to your other disk and create a new shortcut to
GW2.exe there .. or edit your current shortcut.

Nothing more is needed.
