Personally i would say the biggest “inflation” was after 11 months or so when we
got ascended weapon crafting and champion bags. Before i could farm around
maybe 2 gold per hour, after that it was suddenly 8-12 gold per hour mainly due
to increased prices of metal and wood.
In the end a lot of other stuff followed where the prices went for 4-5x higher
at that time, also the gold->gem exchange followed that way.
Funny is that ecto prices were already at 37s 6 months after release, when i
made my Vision of the Mists .. and they are still not much higher in price.

Wouldn’t gaining buffs also speed up the leveling process? Increase X stat makes killing mobs quicker, vitality or survivability buffs means less downtime, etc all of which speeds up the process.

Its a well known secret that 90% or whatever of NVidias driver releases are garbage.
So if you have problems use older ones .. or if you need them really live with it
and hope that some of the next releases maybe run with GW2 and whatever you
need in the new release.

Any suggestions?
Not sure what is possible with that CPU .. is 2,1 GHz the max speed ?
Oh .. i just see there stands @3.07 GHz .. so your CPU doesn’t run at maximum speed
and i would check if you have problems with overheating.
Else try to delete / rename you local.dat file

Profession armor, racially styled would be my preference.
Oh yeah .. and maybe different armor for every colour of your skin, and every name ?
And then we have 10 millions armor skins, but every character can only wear
exactly ONE of them, and 99% of the player complain that they can only wear
one specific ugly armor.
So : NO !! I would rather have armor that can be used by a lot of my chars
and especially i want finally some real 6 pieces armor again that i can mix
and match, and no more boring costumes.
I would also prefer when my humans could wear norn racial armor and my norn
humans.

For folks that have this happen, does it occur if you have been playing for less than an hour or so?ive only had this occur when I’ve been playing for an extended period then do a boss encounter.
Thats mostly because of “memory fragmentation” .. so yes .. restarting the client
before events like Teq is also a good idea if you have crashes.

This is why I’ve suggested that breathers be turned into skins: they aren’t required to breathe underwater, so there’s never been any reason (since before launch) for them to be gear, requiring a 7th piece of armor underwater.
I also don’t wish them as skins, since most of them are simply ugly and i hate that
i can’t even make them invisible. They should just be removed in total.

Set character modell limit to medium .. that helps mostly to avoid hitting
the magical 3.5 gb margin where the game crashes.Else .. if you don’t want to do that .. ask ANet to bring back “culling” .. that was
a mechanism that automatically had hidden character models if there were
too much around you, to avoid the problem .. however it was removed because
people complained about it.I agree, If you have a decent machine do this. Set character model limit to medium or low so your not loading every high res armor set people have. instead it’ll load like 20 nearby people. High graphics can remain.
Culling was terrible in wvw. Invisible blobs would mow you down before seeing them.
I know culling was bad .. but in case people complain that ANet is to whatever to
fix this problem .. culling was the fix actually .. beside creating a 64-bit client ofc.

Hey all, recently bought the game, running it on a macbook pro 13inch 2013 model. The launcher will not load the game for me and it displays this error message:
Coherent host crashed
A serious error has prevented the application from continuing.. etc
A report has been sent to ArenaNet to determine the cause
I am confused as to why this is happening and would like to continue my virtual adventures.. Please help me
“Coherent” is the ingame browser used for the Trading Post .. else i can’t say much
about since you talk about MAC where i don’t even know if something like
virus-scanners and firewall exist that often cause that problem.
And you should better post your own thread with MAC in the title instead of
mixing it into windows related problems.

As said above, you actually need 7 runes to give 6/6 all the time. Worse the common rebreathers are unsalvageable, meaning you can’t extract the rune on them by salvaging.
I have suggested they get rid of the underwater helm and use the runes and stats from the normal head gear but I don’t see that happening any time soon.
Yeah .. i also suggested that in a lot of threads .. and no .. i more or less avoid
underwater combat and don’t have expensive runes in my green lvl 77 aquabreathers.

You can change your traits for free now whenever you want. You can howver not
unlearn traits, but that has also not worked with the system we had before.I’m pretty sure you could unspend trait points before. I remember there was a back button on it to unspend points. However, iirc, you only had enough to spend to unlock a certain amount at a time. Now you will have enough to unlock all.
That was however more like when you know just change your traits or traitlines.
However after the first trait update you still had to unlock the traits first and
you couldn’t simply unlearn an unlocked trait to learn another.
It was only easier with the very first sytem where we just had to buy 3 books
to unlock all traits.

I believe you can upgrade at no cost to a 64-bit edition. Surely Win10 is 64-bit, and it’s free for most.
Sadly there still exists a 32-Bit version of Win 10 and if you upgrade you will also
just get the 32-Bit version.
So in that case you first have to upgrade to Win10, then read out the new Win10 key
and write it down, download a 64-bit ISO and make a fresh install with it.

Not true, according to the Devs. If OP is using a 32-bit copy of Windows, relief from much of the OOM error can be attained by upgrading to a 64-bit edition. Windows 32-bit can not use more than 3.5MB of RAM.
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/support/Constant-Crashing-8/first#post2664406
The real problem is Win32 cannot use more than 2 GB per application, while a
32 bit application compiled with large memory aware can at least use 4 GB
under Win64.
However because of some other factors the limit where it crashs is more or
less around 1.7 GB unter Win32 and 3.5 GB under Win64.

I run my game at full graphics (everything is maxed out).
Thats is the problem. Set at least character model limit to medium.
Only fix from ANets side would give us a 64-bit client or bring back “culling”
that automatically limits the character models, but was removed due to
complains from the players.

Ok done that, here is the main GPU-Z screen.
Your GPU runs only @x1 instead of @x16 .. main reasons :

-contact problems .. just reseat your GPU and check if it now runs @x16

I still say you might as well nerf dungeon rewards if disproportionate rewards are your concern. Speed runners have no trouble taking dungeons down in 10 minutes. They got their meta gear and take advantage of all the exploits. So why not call for a nerf of dungeon loot?? …. Once again though I am against nerfing loot from any area. I am just making a comparison between another area that is being farmed. Instead of nerfing loot, raise loot chances in areas. If Anet does indeed end up nerfing the Silverwastes it could be seen as an attempt to coerce players that haven’t bought HoT by nerfing one of the few lucrative openworld maps.
But .. but .. you can’t ask for that because instanced content is “good” content
played by superior players that “earn” phat loot .. while open world is “bad” content
only played by bad players that are not worthy to get loot.
The best would be that all the loot that people in the open world farm is directly
transfered into the endboss chest in raids to make sure only the right people
will get loot in futured.

Your GPU runs @x1 1.1 instead of @x16 2.0 or 3.0
Make shure it is in the correct slot, normally the one next to your CPU and if so
reseat it in case there are contact problems. If the game is running it should look like this :
Wtf, Beldin. You do even give yourself an explanation why it only shows x1 1.1 in his screenshot: GW2 IS NOT RUNNING.
As long as there is no load whatsoever on the GPU, it will always reduce speed and lanes. I do not think there is a problem with so many mobos, as you might believe
@OP: Hit the question mark besides the bus interface speed to get the correct values and then pls post a new screenshot.
Even if GW2 is NOT running it should show @x16 1.1 .. if GW2 runs only the 1.1 will
change to 2.0 or 3.0 .. but it should always be @x16

But if you are in a party then all the action you do will fill the heart less, while all the action of the party will fill the heart of everybody. So let say we are 5 doing the heart. Usually, doing the action would fill around 10% of the heart for exemple. Now it will only fill out 2% of the heart, but it will fill the heart of 5 person. So if 5 person do one action, the heart of all 5 will reach 10%. That way, everybody should finish around the same time and everybody will work toward the heart from start to finish. Faster people will take on a bigger part of the work load, because they will help the slower people to fill out their heart.
And then 4 of 5 people go suddenly AFK and you have to work 5 times longer
as you would have normally needed .. and as soon as you are finally ready ..
oh wonder .. those other people all come back at the same time

1. report
2. ignoreI see no reason to leave a map because of chat .. you can ignore it. Much worse
is only when people jump around you all the time, because you can’t make
them invisible.Sadly, this will go ignored, as most users would rather complain about it on the internet, then to use the actual solutions available to them such as the in game ignore and report features. Sorry, but “this is the internet” is a perfectly valid excuse, because you have every option and tool in the world to be able to not deal with people you dont like.
Just ignore and report. There is no need for a topic about how someone offended you. Keep that stuff on tumblr.
