First disable automatic reboot on system errors so you could see if it is a bluescreen.
If it is not a bluescreen and your PC simply reboots its mostly the power supply.

It must show @x16 2.0 when the game is running .. else the card is either in the wrong
slot or simply has contact problems. So make sure that card is in slot next to your
CPU and reseat it.

There is a flaw with this mentality. GW2 isn’t the same as other games in the sense that the game isn’t developed around raiding, whereas others are. Now if Anet was switching development to where all or majority of content and endgame content was designed around raiding then you your point would be valid. However simply having a raid instance which is the minority of content isn’t the same.

The term “play as you want” gets thrown around, but at the same time shuns those who want to do raiding.

The problem is not having a raid .. but starting to hide the best available armor
in game behind those raids. THAT exactly is the stuff i said goodbye to all those
raid games and played Champions Online for some years before GW2 came out.

And don’t start with Legendary is not better than ascended. Its a QoL feature at
least a lot of people wanted.

And in the end all the threads now also show again and again what i always said
that challenge aside .. most people want the raids to have stuff to show of and
i guess a lot now play that stuff even if they hate it, just because of the rewards
and not because of the challenge.

But its still much easier here than in other MMOs. I recently startet my EQ2 client
since long years .. and just looking on my 7 hotbars with 12 slots each alone already
makes me wan’t to logout. And then the next minutes there were masses of

Most important .. you have to learn the new trait system and find a new build.
Engi is great with burning actually btw ^^

The good thing is at level 80 you now can skill ALL traits and all skills without
problems .. so get them all .. and then read the descriptions and test maybe
a little at the golems in the mists .. or just try to kill some mobs ^^

Wasn’t the refund not also only for people that bought directly from ANet ?
Can’t imagine they will refund people that bought from somewhere else and
then try to get the money back from the seller.

Mostly you are just in different instances of the same map.
Try rightclick on the picture in the group window and look if there is something
like “enter Queensdale” or whatever map you are on.

You can also check both with /ip on what instance you are

I haven’t seen a precurser after 7000 hours of play, and most people in my
guild also have never seen one after 3 years of playing .. so that is totally
“normal”.

First of all. I’ve tried various different settings SMAA high low, No AA, shadows off ect ect ect. Checked PCI bus, x8/x16. no difference what so ever. Currently DDU’ing drivers for a fresh reinstall see if that helps.

What about the picture i requested ? Have you checked that your GPU uses
all 16 PCIe lanes ?

That is the most common problem for low FPS and often reseating your GPU helps.

Update LAN card drivers.
Disable automatic updates on your router.

That was meant totally serious .. only because there is lag on your route to a
server does not mean there is lags on all routes to that server, and also does
it not mean that there can’t be routes without lag to any other server.

And a lot of people seem to not understand how the internet works, and
always say :
No . it can’t be the internet because i have no lag in Game X ..

You now the internet is like the street system. For example there is a big event
in Town A and 6 streets lead there .. on 1 there is maybe a big traffic jam, while
on another the traffic is slow rolling .. and on the others you can drive with
max speed.

Now you are maybe on the road with the traffic jam.

My hope at the moment .. that it not drives me aways from the game and there
are at least some new armor sets that are not buried behind raids or abnormal
masses of grind. Over 1 year with only carapace as new armor is really more than
enough

If they earned it then they deserve it. What’s interesting is arrogance and envy are 2 sides of the same coin. Those who are jealous of those who have what they don’t are just as bad as those who are arrogant of what they have over those who don’t.

The thing is .. that ALL other players in that case NOT deserve it because there
is no other way to earn it.

I only took that example because the hardcore players are always the vocal
majority on forums and other players are flamed down from them if they
also want some shinys .. because how could they if the don’t “work hard”
for it.

Heck in another thread one even used the old argument from other raid games
that was : if you don’t raid then you don’t need legendarys.
Thats absurdity at its best .. yeah raiders needs to have a more shiny armor
here to beat harder mobs ..

If however that stuff would have been hidden behind PvP .. those vocal players
suddenly would find them in the situation where everybody says : you are simply

No. Current GW2 owners still get a number of perks over f2p accounts, like being able to use map chat, full use of the Trading Post, etc.

The $10 accounts were the best deal ever offered. By simply selling your login rewards, each $10 account can generate $10 worth of gems in about 2 months. If you ever planned on buying gems, the $10 accounts were a far better deal.

^^ This .. better create the accounts earlier than later so you can start collecting

Somebody already postet : “you don’t need it if you don’t raid” .. and so it begins,
the whole BS while i was always against raids .. thats exactly what i always said
that raiders just want their special loot that others NOT can get, just to show off.
The whole thread was full of that.
And that others don’t need a special skin if they don’t raid .. that really brings
absurdity to a new level.

First person mode was never really planned to be in the game, and it still is there
mostly for people that want to make nice screenshots without their character
in the screen .. and not to play with.

They even messed up the whole engine for that and thus things like SAB can
not brought back.

The average troll is probably going to get tired of finding new ways to authenticate an account every time they get banned.

You can generate an authenticator as fast as you can copy and paste a line of text. The entire setup process could easily be automated.

Requiring authentication to unlock certain features is simply an attempt to reduce the number of hacked accounts. Remember, people actually fall for the in-game phishing mail that requires you to manually enter that long URL. The ranger has been ignored by Anet for the last 3 years. Their damage is terrible compared to the others. And their only good healing/condition cleanse Healing Spring skill was nerf to nothingness. Pets are unreliable and takes too long to attack.

I would suggest to make another class…don’t waste your time leveling a ranger.

I suggest to stop using a bloody bowbear…
Melee damage on Ranger is good – it’s probably 4th DPS ingame if you use sword+horn/great sword.

Terrible damage is on necros, engis and mesmers. (and necros are rather debatable of their “terrible” damage)

Engis actually can do more DPS with just camping on the bomb kit. And necro solo
can melt mobs faster than most other classes, they just don’t have that much
group support.
Personally i at least have the feeling that rangers were the biggest looser on the
trait revamp, while Engi was the biggest winner.

Your GPU runs at x1 instead of x16 .. thats the problem. Make sure your GPU is
in the slot next to your CPU .. and maybe reseat it to make sure there are no
contact problems.

Sounds to me as if your friend had called his CC Company and said : i haven’t
bought that, i want my money back.

post a support ticket .. and believe me they also not fix your problems just
with the crystal ball.
