The Jotun theory got strong when an article was posted before the game release talking about jotuns, there we discovered that they are an ancient race that used to be very intelligent and tuned to magic and also an egocentric race, since basically Hall of Monuments is a temple dedicated to yourself it makes sense that jotuns created such a thing.

I also see an issue depending on the requirements of the materials.
If that legendary backpiece requires lvl 50+ fractals, I can see an issue there, but if you can make the backpiece by doing lvl 1~20 fractals then I see no problems at all.

You only need regular crafting to make some gifts for the legendary and depending on the which one, you’ll need a specific profession.
Example: To craft Frostfang you’ll need Weaponsmith (Gift of Metal) and Jeweler (Gift of Ice)

Yes sword cleaves, that is why I run s/p + p/p with my open world PvE thief, but it doesn’t have the AoE part.

Without ricochet yeah but wouldn’t s/p and SB fit that or do you mean GS or ele staff like AoE?

I still miss my ricochet … I’ll probably start to use SB more often, I didn’t play thief much after the update.
But yeah, I mean near staff ele level of AoE, but less burst and more sustained.
I think that thief melee staff should have skills that covers a good area, to keep a sustained DPS in that area, a bit of mobility to also survive while keeping that pressure.

I would craft the Eternity and sell it, you’ll get the gold and keep the twilight and sunrise skins, with that gold you can almost buy 2 other legendaries or buy ~3 precursors and craft 3 other legendaries.

If you are using Windows , you can allow 1 of the PCs to accept Remote Desktop connection, then you turn both PCs on, but from 1 of the PCs you just access the other by Remote Desktop.
That way you don’t need to walk to the other room, you just need to alt+tab and open the window.

EDIT: Remote Desktop is not a 3rd party tool, it is a Windows tool, probably already installed in your computer.

I never used OBS to record. It supports multiple audio tracks?
If so, if you have kittenB mic you can set 1 track to record your mic and then you set GW2 to use use your PC sound board and in the OBS make a 2nd audio track for that.
That way you can pick only your voice and treat as you like (I recommend Audacity) and still use the in game sound.

In that case it is very likely that you shouldn’t come to the game.
Anet may make a few ways to get ascendeds, but I really doubt that they will be reliable, similar to what we have now (except for crafting of course)

Bad approach – Never turn a trade into an investment. Have targeted entry and exit points and be disciplined. It’s how you avoid excessive greed and also tying up your capital in losers “hoping they’ll go back up”/“It’s not a loss until I sell”. Far more important in the stock market, but still applicable to BLTC trading.

I really don’t see why some people hate crafting that much.
You can open a guide, buy all the materials from TP and craft an ascended armor in about 20~30 minutes, maybe a few more mins if you have 0 crafting skills.

Usually it grays out when your GPU doesn’t support it.

Personally, I would buy a new monitor and maybe use your current one as a 2nd monitor, the GPU can handle that w/o problem.
Look for a monitor that supports “FULL HD” or 1080p resolution (both mean the same thing) and use an HDMI cable, that way you’ll have the full experience video quality that game and youtube offers.

Yeah, your graphic setup gets the 1680×1050 from your monitor, it is the max it can reach.
My previous GPU was also a HD 7900 series (HD 7950 to be specific) and I played @1920x1080.

So, to you solve the youtube problem, you need to record and setup the game to be @1280×720 , that way it will get the 16:9 aspect ratio used by youtube.
It will look a bit distorted in your screen while you play, but on youtube it will be perfect.

A dev posted that they are making something that will use those trinkets, it was not specified what it will be so do not discard them.

I wonder if you swap the sigil of malice for a sigil of doom or sigil of torment could increase the overall damage by adding a different type of condition.

Those charts were made to offer the most optimal direct damage, and for that it is still ideal.

You are using a quite uncommon aspect ratio
The most common ones are 1280×720 and 1920×1080 , both have a 16:9 ratio, yours is 16:10 ratio, so to compensate youtube fill with those black bars.

Solo/small guilds CAN have Guild Halls, the only thing that will be needed is help to do the 1 time only event to conquer the GH area, nothing else.

Well, they are planing on doing Guild Hall first, if that system works well, I think that an actual housing may be implemented later.
You can’t expect that they make a guild hall system that also apply to solo or very small guild.
People don’t actually complain about guild missions not being friendly to solo/small guild, because it makes no sense to have “soloable” guild missions, just like it makes no sense to have “solo” guild halls, but in both cases there are workarounds that doesn’t take much effort.

In that case it would be very nice to have the the channel time reduced.

Probably the event to claim the Guild Hall won’t be so hard that 10~15 players won’t be able to handle it, so if you have less than that, just look for a few more players and done.

EDIT: Are you really asking why a Guild Hall event needs to be a group event? Why do you even have a guild if you don’t want to be in a group? Small guilds will be very likely to handle the event by their own.

I strongly doubt they’ll ever make any server besides the ones we already have.
NA servers for the all the Americas and EU for Europe and part of Asia, already covers a huge majority of current the potential player base.
There is the Chinese client too, but that is almost a different game.

A new server that I think that could exist is for the SEA region and that could have a better ping time for players in the Oceania too.

Devs specifically said that to acquire the Hall you need to do a group event, but that group isn’t restricted to guild members, you can just shout out or use the LFG tool to get help, after that you can keep your solo/small group adventure into your HALL.

Not a really good idea.
That suggestion would be good to rise the DPS, but would lower the utility, people usually use WD for its projectile reflection, lower the duration would reduce the time it reflects.

Quickness on pet swap, quickness from QZ (which also gives super speed and is a stun breaker) are great.

Yeah, I didn’t mention about pets because I can’t imagine what will be the druid mechanic, I know it will involve our pets for sure, but what will be the trick I’m clueless.

Well officially we only know that we’ll get a staff, at least 1 skill will be ranged and pet will still be part of the druid’s gameplay.

Now my speculation/hope is that druid will focus on support, we’ll probably get some AoE CC with the staff skills (blind would be great) and my guess on utilities is Consecration skills (nature focus instead of light compared to guardian’s and be damage buffs + direct damage instead of guardian’s defensive buffs + condition damage), that way the staff skills can focus on CC and the utilities focus on buffs, making the “ranger” much more desirable in all aspects of the game.

On Tequatl I usually see 9~10k tail swipe, and then use the river drake breath and each hit cause about 3.2k damage.

Drakes is the best 2nd pet on PvE imo, when your feline HP is running low, swap to a drake and will lose a bit of DPS but till tank like … well a beast.

You may want to fix the title, it should be 4/9 revealed, don’t forget that rev will also get one.
