For example, you are a norn and want to change to a sylvari, but only your skin changes, so you’ll still have the norn racial skills, those could have issues if cast in a sylvari skin.

I read a suggestion a time go about something like a 5~10 slots bag that is shared by all toons from your account, I loved that idea and in my opinion it would rise the sells for Anet.
I would buy the permanent ticket + full set of infinite gathering tools and the copper-salvage-thing along with that bag, IF the bag existed.

Yes, it is wasteful, but you are paying for the time you are saving.

I personally crafted all my items, and in the beginning I sold the bolts of damasks for a great profit, and with that profit I could buy the rest of the material, all my ascended set cost me about 100g , what seems pretty reasonable IMO.

1 of them is a lvl 80 mule, my ele.
6 others are camped at Frostgorge Sound to harvest nodes but some have extra roles, Necro is my PvP toon and Eng is my WvW toon.

My only complaint about the ascended equipment overall is the time gating required on them and not the materials required. Having 16 characters myself I actually already have full ascended jewelry for most of them but getting the back piece and armor/weapon pieces will take me years.

You know that you can buy all the time gated items, right?
Only the ascended material can’t be bought, and those aren’t time gated.
Of course, you’ll spend much more gold to by-pass the time gate, but if that is the only thing bothering you then there is the solution, with enough gold you can make the 16 ascended sets in a day.

I’m not a hardcore player at all (I play about 2 hours a day), and I hate any sort of grind, and still I crafted my legendary about the same time as the ascended weapons appeared and I finished my ascended armor almost 1 month about its launch.

Most of the people whining about the grind are the ones that only do QD or FG trains, so they lack some of the ascended materials, or are the people that only play the TP and buy everything, except the items that can’t be bought, so they would need to “grind” to get them.

Really, if you play just a bit of everything like a few hours of WvW per week, do a couple world bosses a day and do the guild missions, you’ll be flooded with the ascended materials.

In the Hero panel there is a “Personal Story” tab, there all the steps you did are described, they could add a button there to reactivate the PS step.

I would love it, even if doing it wouldn’t give anything (no exp, karma, gold). I used to post a Let’s Play doing the PS but I was always scared because if I missed 1 step because of any recording issue I would be screwed.

The only RNG required for Legendary is the mystic clover, the precursor you can just buy from TP, and even so when you “fail” the mystic clover recipe you get other material that is used in the crafting of the legendary … almost a win-win situation.

No grind =/= No grind required.
Many MMOs you NEED to grind to get to level cap for example, here you only grind a bit if you want the 5~10% better equip than the very easy exotic tier gear.
In GW2 you really don’t need to grind at all, but you have the option to grind if you want.

Go to your main city (Divinity’s Reach if human, Rata Sum is asura …) and there will be a portal to Lion’s Arch, as soon as you use it you’ll find 4 other portals leading to the main city of the other races, and from there you can go to their respective starter map.

Go to other starter map to do the hearts/skills points/vistas there.
For example, if you are human, get out of Queensdale and go to Wayfarer Foothills (Norn) or Plains of Ashford (Charr), or any other 1~15 map.

I think Primordus is even smaller than Zhaitan, but yeah, about the same size.

That would require a totally new game mechanic, new skills, new stats, mobs would need to be redesigned to use/defend hexes and so one.
I would love to have “Panic” and “Ineptitude” in game, but in GW1 you could get heroes build them to complement your build, in GW2 you would need to rely 100% in another players to cover your lack of cond removal or hex removal.

Why you feel the need of Hex if it have the exactly same effect than confusion (in the case of the ones you showed), sure it would give more option for damage, but it seems only a new obstacle for a good class balance.

People usually call them macros because it use the “macro” feature of the mouse software, but you just use a really small macro.

You can make macros, but only 1 action per button, so you can use the extra mouse buttons to bind some keys.

HAHA yeah, but still, if someone do that 10 times slower and only 1/2 the day , it would be about 170 AP per day, much different than about 11 AP

What people need to understand is that Norns aren’t Vikings, they are Norns.
Norns seek to become a legend, no matter or what, if a Norn decide that become an engineer would help him to reach his goals, then he will do it.

Why not cap daily/monthly at 1000 AP? or even 5000? I think some of the grinders are at around 8000 atm.

The difference between Daily and Agent of Entropy is that the Agent one could be filled infinitely in 1 day, as long as you have the gold, while the Daily you can only get about 11 AP per day, no matter or what.

Change race would require a lot of resets in the account, and that is really hard to be done right, if even possible.
I’m sure you can’t care less about the Personal Story, but let’s say 5% of the game base care about it, it is a lot of people that Anet need to think about if they plan to create a item that change directly the PS.

Yeah, GW3 would be the only thing that could make me change games.

I don’t think that the item would be bad idea, but the people that want it thinks that Anet doesn’t sell a “race changer” just because they don’t want to.

Actually you CAN pick anything, as long as that thing is plausible.
I don’t live in US, I like the metric system, the way it was created makes total sense, all I want to say it that is that other scales could be picked to create it.

Celsius temperature used the frozen and boil temperatures of water in 0 altitude, Fahrenheit use the temperature of brite (a mix of water and a salt) and the average human temperature and another thing that I forgot as milestones, Kelvin use the absolute zero, all of them use totally plausible and constants to base their scale, just like metric system could use other scale.

I think it will be either Mordremoth, opening the Maguuma Wastes and Tengus, or will be Kalkatorik, opening Crystal Desert and Charr Homelands.

Since Scarlet is a sylvari and the warning of the Pale Tree, I think that Mordremoth may be the one that is corrupting her mind, and then starting the next LS season.
