I’ve played this game since release. I tried WvW for the first time a few days ago. I was appalled. It should be called ZvZ. Two massive groups of players running around and when they meet, unbelievable lag and prayers that my AOE spells go off before I die. Needless to say I won’t be going back to it.

And yes, class balance is the one thing I am actually hoping for and have been hoping for since day 1.

this is why Most WvW open field fighters or GvG guilds want a debuff for zergs (zergs might be defined as 30+ in the same area)

when you meet a group of 10-20 there is no skill lag and the fight is usually very very fun

With your suggestion, I am so glad you are not a developer.

why?
Warriors have some of the highest armor/hp in game even in zerkers, can deal tons of dmg, able to be immune to dmg for a decent amount of time.

they need to nerf this PASSIVE healing signet or at least make it like the ele or theif sig where you have to do something to heal.

Isn’t it obvious why? He enjoys his face roll build.

Yes I just want him to admin its a faceroll build and not a l2p or l2stunbreak issue.

this has been posted by many people but devs/spvp/tpvp dont want this because it will separate players from the “real” pvp in gw2.

Devs better want it if they want players in their game. Cause players are the real PvP, and as far as I can tell, there is no more real PvP, with the introduction of seasons, they killed WvW, SPvP was already dead, so what is left?

I want the same thing man, but like I said this suggestion was shot down almost as soon at its posted in the pvp section.

*Burst bleed* stacking can be done about every 16 seconds. the rotation goes as follows:
be running to the target while casting to make things easier for you.
staff 3 (chill/psn)
staff 2 (3 stack of bleeds)
Dodge to target and proc Mark of evasion (2 bleeds)
swap weapons to proc sigil of geomancy (3 bleeds)
go into DS right after wep swap to trigger weakening shroud (2 bleeds/weakness)
DS 2 (3 bleeds/chill)
DS 3 (fear)
get out of DS
Scepter 2 (3 bleeds/cripple)
scepter 5 (2 bleeds/weakness)
auto attack to finish or wait for 16s cd on staff 3 to repeat.

total of 18 bleed stacks all within 8 seconds if done right.
NO DUMBFIRE NEEDED :cool:

Why don’t you give us more info, like your build, skills you saw on the thief, and a larger view of the damage log. Just showing us two numbera isn’t particularly helpful unless you made this thread to complain rather than to get an answer.

Just warrior in bunker build with lot of toughness. If thief can stab for 9k me, how it’s should damage to berserkers? Bers ele have like 12k hp, he should die instantly.

Man come hit me bunker warrior in sPvP for 9k and i give you 200g

Is this forrreal ? ;o i’ll take on that challenge if its serious

I think any Thief will be able to pull this off.

How is Terror Overpowered?

30/20/0/0/20 is a pretty squishy and in WvW you need to be able to survive the hammer trains without running away from your group. Also dumbfire will proc on a random target not the one you select most of the time.

in WvW I think you should focus on AOE condi application with your skills and use epidemic if you want to get burning on targets.

Below are my stats for WvW which I think are enough to survive and deal out a decent amount of dmg. (SS was taken in Lions Arch)

geomancy > earth, if you can make use of it at all:
-geomancy is 21 bleeding ticks per weapon swap (10 sec)
-earth is 20 bleeding tick in those 10 seconds, assuming it proc instantly after the ICD which is highly unlikely
and that is not even taking multiple targets into account :>

If conditionmancer was more viable in dungeons, I’d use two identical sets of scepter/dagger, both with geomancy&battle and swap weapons on cooldown. Given the current state of necro pve it’s not worth the investment and hassle :/

The suggestion of Geomancy also does not take into account that condition necros are usually not in melee range. If you’re not in melee range, the Geomancy sigil is worthless. Sigil of Earth works the same regardless of range.

a free 3 stacks of bleeds on wepon swap is just too good for me.
besides I like to get in the middle of things, being away from the action is pretty boring for me.

I would like it removed, so people will stop calling for nerfs and also so that they can focus on fixing other areas of the class.

People need to realise that not everyone is a condispam necro.

Wish we could go back to pre-dhuumfire patch and start again.

Dhuumfire really has nothing to do many complaints about necro alot of it is more ignorance. Many people think all necro’s are condis because alot of necro attacks have some kind of condi modifier on it and deathshroud has condis regardless of the build.

People will always call for nerfs regardless.

the popularity of Neco’s will drop since all the bad necro’s will finally realize they are bad and reroll so less necro’s running around = less people complaining about them.

also instead of removing that trait. why not make necro’s choose....make terror (pre nurf) and dumbfire a grandmaster trait in curses.

Yeah…times are tough for warrior right now… with things like berserker’s stance and perma stun and 1k health per second regen

hyperbole doesn’t help. Maybe the stance was on cd? Maybe he doesn’t play hammer? And if anythign the signet does not heal for 1k/sec.

Signet+ Adrenal health = 800 HP on a warrior not speced for healing. Throw in regen and you have 1K per second.

which warrior speccs for healing? just tried it in spvp (where it matters) and got ~400+~150 from adrenal health.
perma blind of course is unrealistic but at one point i fought a r38 d/p thief and outside of zerk stance i was literally blinded for 90% of the time. yep, that’s bs.

so because you cant stun lock someone its OP……
Blind and stability are the only counters to the noob stun lock warriors.

It was a high priority issue that was not known prior to the patch. However it was something we were made aware of almost immediately after the release.

The daze change has impacted a few different skills/specs in our game (assuming you are talking about this change) that is not an example of a bug. Anyways, regarding that, the skills and balance team has already brought it up in some discussions today.

Haven’t played in 7-8 months or so. What nerf happened to Terror?

July 23rd update
Terror: Reduced the damage by 17%. Fixed a bug so this trait now checks for the torment condition as well.

This will be fixed soon. I do encourage that you accept that we do actually read most every post here. Making us aware of bugs is a good thing you can continue to do so, but the forums don’t need threads trashing ANet employees and assuming we are not aware of issues that we are aware of.

Game bugs forums guys.

Remember that bugs can’t be fixed instantly and that hotfixes that come out have changes that all teams at our company need to get in as well.

if you guys where away of an issue why release a broken patch?
I think thats the concern for most player.

So basically remove mace from the game for warriors, because that is what you would be doing. Why use a mace that has a 2s single target stun when you could just use Hammer and have an AoE MUCH HIGHER DAMAGE 2s stun?

yes it would be nice to learn to stun break. except my stun breaks are on 40+ second CD.
whats the CD for skullcrack again?

Long enough that you should be able to run, disable, or kill the Warrior?

This is a l2p issue, not a class/game issue.

I would have what 4 seconds to try to run, but wait they pull out a hammer and keep me stunned or knocked down. in such a noob for not being able to get away. Please show me how to be a pro and beat a stun lock warrior with out the need for stability.

Please post an SS of someone with that kind of armor (aside from Plague form) and still being able to dish out that much DPS.

Bleed ticks have not been changed. I think the OP means that condition specs got more popular a few months ago and necros received some buffs (yes, dhuumfire was one of them.)

so remove dhummfire and all the complaining will go away?
will necro’s no longer be viewed as OP? if thats the case im all for it.

Sorry in advance for my poor english,

So, my points is, scale down A LITTLE , condition damage, not weak like it was before, extincting necros and condition builds from pvp.

How about, make conditions into mainly debuffs (so they’d be a secondary source of dmg AT BEST), turn condition dmg from amulets all into malice (%condition duration) and call it a day.
It’d make the game a dozen times better to play and be easy as kitten to fix.

How would it make the game play better for Necro’s?

Condition combat floaters

If I understand right, it shows the real dps every second? Or something else? I have yet to test it.
If it is, what’s the number you get?

It just lumps each condition into its own floater per second. So you see a bleed floater for all your bleeds summed, a floater for poison, a floater for burn etc.

So you can see upwards of 2k for a bleed floater with enough stacks.

Personally…. I oddly find it bad. One of the ways I could tell when to epidemic was the rate at which numbers were exploding out of someone… now I have to pay close attention to what that number on the bleed floater reads or their debuff bar. I expect to go back to the old floater system.

I think it should be possible to pass 3k.

I like these runes. I still need to put a superior and major sigil of bursting into my scpeter/dagger and see what i can hit now. I can’t beat my mesmer, but I may get within 200 condi damage now.

You mean… has anyone ever tried to max fear duration? Yes.
It’s capped at 100% like all other conditions, if that’s what you mean.

So how effective is it?

only effective against classes with no stability or stun breakers.

wasn’t it always like this?

I always had to be in my MOB to get regen… maybe he is saying you need to be in the mark for anyone to get regen?

if thats the case then yes its broken but im at work so I cant test.

xfer to the most stacked server then xfer off when the Queues kitten you off.

if that stacked server wins gold you get the reward even if your not there.

should terror be a grandmaster trait?

Terror is where it should, just don’t mess with Dhuumfire or I’ll eat your souls! Take away Dhuumfire then I would expect condition damage increased! I’ve used a full condi build for ages now, was a big bore until Dhuumfire was added. Necro be the only kitten char I like to play, take my Dhuumfire away, game over man, game Over!

I feel bad playing a necro when people who played a necro before dumbfire are now so reliant on it to win.
You dont need this trait for necro’s to be viable.
