Naw it’s just a different (cultural) mentality towards WvW play. NA and EU are very different modes of play. One isn’t any better than the other. Just different. They will flip towers and keeps, but mostly to get the fights
Causic most guilds on Piken do run untagged for closed guild events, but we always have one tagged commander on map for the friendlies. Sounds like the OP in this thread ignored that commander and followed the untagged OP commander when asked to follow the tagged one and got shouted at for ignoring original requests. If there is a tag up on map, everyone is welcome to join.

Guild only just make yourself invisible, and you will not be a problem. No one will follow you. They won’t even see you.
Trust me pugs follow almost any group, with or without the blue Doritos
Not for long. Pugs will go with the main zerg on the person with the guts to tag up.

we look for a fight not a gate, we down players not keep lords, we help our server more than any karma train will ever be able to.
If you want to play only for your guild, use only guild resources. I am sure, nobody will care at all, they will not even notice you except as some odd group running by. They wont care at all if your guild does not tag, does not use chat channels and does not use supply they did not capture themselves.
Trust me if there was an upgrade where only the guild who claimed the camp/tower/keep can get some supply there will be a ton of complaints.
Camp is completely drained as soon as it is capped. You ever seen that not happen? I think I have once or twice.
Guild only, go cap a camp if need supply. Do something useful for change.

Making people on your server not play definitely does not count as helping your server.
guild only runs dont tell people not to play.
get yer guild group supply from camps your guild group captures and stay out of the server wvw resources if you don’t intend to help your server.

How bad would my condi be affected if I switched out Terror for Master of Corruption? Idk, just seems like that reduced cooldown would be very nice to have

Brando – I like it, but since you’re using spectrals/corruptions, wouldn’t it be better to have the reduced cooldown trait on one of them?

I have a dagger just to get stacks, but once i have my 25 I swap it out. No need for it once I maxed its usefulness.

there is no point in getting first in ppt since ppt just rates your coverage.
Best way to Handle pugs is just run around in a circle until they leave or auto run in one direction then reverse to leave them behind.
Guilds dont want rally bait to follow them.
Condition damage kills you slow.
5k/sec condi necro dissaggrees.
Only way my necro can reach 5k/sec is with 20+ stacks of bleeds, burn, psn, terror
anyone who lets themselves get that many bleeds on then should die.

It’s actually rather week by itself. Half duration burning, for 30 traits in a non-condi dam line, with very long CD.
It’s just because the necro has more condi’s than can be cleansed.
700+ dmg a second for 2-3 seconds every 10 seconds as long as you can crit isnt weak if you ask me.
Signet of vampirism is another winner! Take 350 damage for HITTING THEM? Worse, they heal for 300 health points? This is the new worst skill in the game now, this is healing signet made worse. Thieves will probably die from hitting the necro alone LOL

wait, your saying that the standard wvw d/d glass thief build and the meta pve build is somehow only used by you? and theres absolutely no way youll ever hit higher than 70k, its physically impossible ever since assassin signet nerf

Try hitting a thief. It will hit for ~8000-12000. Or maybe a Ranger (the non-bunker ones).
it does not matter what class i am attacking my back stabs r all ways 3500-4500. is that low or is it just me ? again i have 3000power/50precision/50 crit what can i do to get a better back stab ? with almost full zerk armor and weps/ 2ascendent daggers…. i have 30 in crit 30 in stealth & 10 in the last one … and there people running sword dagger and getting huge backstabs . how r that doing this i can only get a 1500 back stab with sword dagger lol ???? any help would be awesome

Yes, there are some really bad players on SBI but really no more relative to most other servers. What’s happened in the last few weeks of WvW is there is a lot of sabotage/trolling/spying happening (probably on both ends)…sad really.

Been running conditions for a while, but feel ineffective due to heavy condi cleanse when fighting hammer trains. I’ve been looking into a wells build, but I don’t want to sacrifice my 1v1 capabilities. Should I keep my condition build or go for a power build?

Guy made it clear last night he wanted to duel, he bowed then attacked me before I could even bow back. I beat him and spiked. He then invited me and got angry that I spiked him.

all the power build only users will keep crying until the end of time because dhuumfire added that extra damage to put necros on par with zerk bursters. meanwhile condi warriors, engis, and mesmers have been enjoying way more survivability plus confusion stacking.

I would rather take the 20% extra dmg when enemy is under 50%hp as a power build.
Same thing could have happened and did happen behind the windmill.
during an actual fight club session or GvG those trolls will be stomped until they cry.
Confusion damage is a too high considering how easy it is to stack it for various classes and the fact it activates on nearly every action.
I was watching my stack hit for 1k per action on some ranger yesterday…that’s more than my auto attacks.
Confusion was already Nerfed and wasnt an issue until these runes came out and people started to abuse them.
it only applies to Direct damage.
Conditions are not effected by this trait.

The point still stands that it “interrupts” your skill casting. I don’t know why people think because it is a CC condition it should get the worst of both worlds. Stun breakable, cleanse-able, blocked by stability.
I think the ICD should be closer to 30. But I see no reason why it continues to not work with fear.

Fear is listed as a skill that should interrupt. Anet needs to update the wiki or fix fear so it can cause an interrupt.
