Racial Skills. Potential PvE skill system?

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

BunjiKugashira.9754

I think one possible solution to one race becoming stronger than the others because of racial skills would be to make the same skill for all races but with very different visuals. For example you could place an auto-attack tower. For Sylvari it would be a seed turret, for Asura an asuran turret and maybe for Norn a totem. Or a skill that summons a golem for Asura, a moss heart for Sylvari, a tank for Charr, etc (all with the same health, armor, attack, etc). That way racial skills could be strong because every race has access to them.

Only the poor revenant would miss out. ANet really needs to give Revenant access to racial skills.

Suggesting event participation overhaul

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

BunjiKugashira.9754

I don’t know exactly since I’m running all my characters as pure glass cannon dps, but there are threads about it.

https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/gw2/Event-Participation-Healing/first#post5761820
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/hot/Fix-support-heals-reward-issues/first#post5764269

I picked the topic up because, after thinking about it for a moment, I realised that the current system is really lacking in terms of reward for active participation.

So while for other players the biggest point would be rewarding supportive play, the biggest point for me in this thread is being rewarded according to the amount of participation.

Suggesting event participation overhaul

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Posted by: BunjiKugashira.9754

BunjiKugashira.9754

Problem
Currently damage is the only thing that gets you event participation. This leaves many supportive builds (especially those with the new elite specialisations) without rewards. Also the current system does not sufficiently reward active participation.

The current system that only rewards you for dealing damage leads to 2 major problems.

  1. It encourages a very selfish playstile. Many people would rather get another shot on the champion/legend just to be sure instead of reviving a downed player or helping someone with a heal or condi cleanse.
  2. Supportive playstiles are not properly rewarded.
  3. This leads to another problem that supportive players sometimes overestimate their participation and think they’re useful even though they are not.

Another issue with the current event system is that participation is not properly rewarded. Even if you join an event in the last minute you can still get gold. Event hopping got stopped by the new inactivity timer, but that’s not a good solution imo. Currently it’s way more profitable (in loot / time) to join an event that’s close to completion instead of sticking to an event chain to do each event from beginning to end.

Solution
Reward a score for actively participating in the event and give rewards based on this score. The score should represent the sum of that player’s participation (dealing dmg, support, using eventspecific mechanics, etc) during the whole event.

Building a score
The score should build up during the whole length of the event. Every player starts at a score of 0 and, by participating in the event, adds something to his score. For personal preference I’d add a mechanic where misusing certain event mechanics can substract from that score, but if you think this could harm inexperienced players, then it can and should be left out.

  • Damage (direct and condition) is added with factor 1 to the score.
  • Healing (only to other players) (direct and regeneration) is added with factor 1 to the score.
  • Reviving a downed player is added with 2 times the restored health
  • Soaking damage (either oneself or via pets) is added with 0.5 times the soaked base-damage (before applying armor and toughness)
  • Evading an attack is added with 1 time the attack’s base damage
  • Blocking an attack is added with 1 time the attack’s base damage
  • Disabling a foe is added with 1 time the foe’s dps times the duration of the disability
  • Knockback is added with 1 time the difference in dps that this mob receives during the next 2 seconds. This value can either be positive or negative depending on the situation. The effect is canceled if the mob receives another knockback or dies.
  • Buffs on other players are added with a fixed value times the duration of the buff times the number of applied stacks.
  • Event specific mechanics are added with a fixed number depending on the event and mechanic used. Points can be substracted for wasting event specific mechanics at the wrong time (for example bursting the bubbles at silverwastes Silver and Gold).

It’s important to note that any support (healing, buffs, etc) is only added to the score if it’s on another player. Any buffs and healing you apply to yourself help you in dealing damage, surviving and mitigating damage. There is no reason to count those two times.

I’m pretty sure I didn’t cover everything in this list, but I hope I’ve covered the most essential stuff that should count towards the personal event score. All numbers in this list are subject to balancing.

Possible Reward-Mechanics
To reward event participation instead of big aoes and failing events for champs, the drops that mobs could drop should be added to the event reward and removed from the mobs. The total amount of loot would still be the same, just distributed depending on participation instead of choosing the biggest aoe.

Gold, Silver and Bronze chests
One possible rewards mechanic based on this score could be the 3 tier reward chest system that we’re used to. In this case ANet should set a score (Goal) that is achievable by anyone who actively participates in an event from beginning to end.

  • Bronze is awarded to anyone who participated even a little bit (Score > 0)
  • Silver is awarded with a chance of (Score/Goal)*100%
  • Gold is awarded with a chance of (Score/Goal-1)*100%

Downside:

  • Dependance on RNG
  • Rewards capped at 200% of the score set by ANet as the goal

Upside:

  • Easy balancing of the reward tiers
  • Can’t be abused to farm an excessive score by stalling an event

Loot List
The idea behind a lootlist is to have a list of possible items you can get via a rotation. ANet would still need to give a default score (Goal) as a reference as to how many points a player should get during the event. Here you will receive the next roundUp(Score/Goal*Factor) items of the list.

Downside:

  • Can be abused to get an excessive score for more loot if no upper limit is specified

Upside:

  • Easy balancing of rewards
  • Modularity: rewards can be added or removed any time
  • No RNG

Of course the inactivity timer is no longer needed and should be removed again.

Expected Effect on the Community
I expect these changes to change the way the community views support builds. One reason is that support builds could actually become viable in open world events. Another reason is that you have some kind of measurement of how effective a support build is and thus can strive to improve from there.

Also I intend to change the way people see event participation. I want hopping into an event as you see it (even if it’s close to completion) still be worth it, while rewarding sticking to an event from start to finish and especially rewarding putting super human efford into the event’s completion. I want the rewards to be fair depending on how much a player did to make the event succeed.

This is what i feared for Guild Halls

in Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns

Posted by: BunjiKugashira.9754

BunjiKugashira.9754

  1. There are not enough houses in the entire game (even if you take those outside major cities into the count) to fit all the guilds. During the first 6 days alone over 4000 Guild Halls have been claimed! Source: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/hot/Day-Six-Guild-Hall-Statistics/first
  2. Because of the megaserver system Guild Halls would feel empty. While a guild with 100 members would see their guild hall busting with more activity than fits into that small house, everyone on another instance of the same map would find the Guild Hall to be dead empty.
  3. There would not be enough space to fit anything in there. Be it an arena, a portal to quickly reach guild missions or some decoration. Heck, most houses are too small to even fit a single Wyvern-Statue!
  4. It would be a lot of work. None of the houses that currently can’t be entered have a floor, rooms, stairs… If you look at it from the inside they don’t even have walls! The work required to create interiors for 4000 houses to accomodate those guilds that got their Halls during the first 6 days after release would be immense. That is mostly because all those houses are unique in size and window- / door-placement.

Tldr: Open world housing / Guild Halls is impossible in this game.

I agree however that we need smaller alternatives to the current Guild Halls.

Report trolling

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

BunjiKugashira.9754

Dear OP, you’re not Lord of the Game. You don’t get to decide who can and can’t enter a map just because you and or guild don’t like them.

Pretty much this. You can always go find another map if you don’t like the people that surround you.
You are asking for complicated solutions when an easier one already exists.

Did you even read? We are trying to fit all 150 people from the ts-channel on one map. That’s only possible if we take a completely new and empty map and taxi everyone over. We can’t just say: “Oh, there are some trolls. Let’s generate a new, empty map and switch there.” God, some comments are just too stupid to reply to.

re: From a programming viewpoint it’s probably easiest to just prevent anything being placed in the “action zone” of anything else, regardless of what they are. – Agreed. No interactive item should be able to be placed on top of, or too close to(so that their “interact” zones overlap) another interactive item. And that includes NPC’s who always step up to the bank 2 seconds before I get there. Why didn’t this functionality ship with the game? Why would you allow this to happen in the first place? What is the point of allowing interactive items to interfere with each other? They should have seen that this would cause problems on the first beta weekend, and corrected it then.

That would certainly solve the problem with the end chest and at least make the intended bufffood easyer to use. There could still be (especially for newer players) some confusion about the multiple food trays, but after explaining the situation everyone would be able to take the right food.

For troll food, and I guess other unwanted consumables, I would suggest that there be an option to disable eating feasts if you already have a buff.

Problem is that “F” is also used to revive people and I imagine that could be a problem.

I don’t think this solves the problem of multiple food trays being placed on top of each other and finding the right one. The time it takes for the trolls to place their food after ours was placed is usually less than 1 second.

Report trolling

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Posted by: BunjiKugashira.9754

BunjiKugashira.9754

It’s back to this topic again and we still need a solution. In the last couple of weeks the trolling of our triple trouble orga got a lot worse which led me to make this thread.

Placeables
Placeables like boxes of fun, pilot boxes, etc are often used to obstruct access to our hero banners or the end chest after a successful kill. A possible solution would be to have an option to report the box, which will internally report the player that placed the box. Also it would be nice to see who placed a box, so we can take actions against those players ourselves (like not accepting them into taxis).

Trollfood is a special kind of placeable that is used to obstruct our orga. As soon as the intended bufffood is placed, the trolls place cheap food trays all around it. It’s impossible to know which tray you’re taking when pressing f and the icon on the buff bar is the same. All 150 people on the map need to mouse over their little apple icon on the buff bar to make sure they took the right food. Again, give us the possibility to know who placed the food tray and report them for trolling.

Apple Commanders
At least here we know who’s trolling, but that doesn’t change the fact that we have no way to get rid of them. I should probably be glad that the trolls don’t have enough gold for a real tag and thus can be easily distinguished from our commanders (also our zerg did a good job at ignoring the apples). A feature where you can no longer see apple tags or other commanders while being in a squad would probably solve the problem. (Didn’t we have that in the past, that you can only see the commander you’re following? Why was that removed?)

Blocking People
It would be so nice if all these problems could be solved by just putting known offenders on a block list. As soon as they’d try to join the taxi they’d just get the message: “You can’t join this group because at least one member of the group has blocked you.” Oh this feature would solve so many problems across all PvE, be it dungeons, fractals, raids or event taxis.

in your opinion what is the best pve class

in Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns

BunjiKugashira.9754

Herald. It’s basically the only class that can fight the axemaster in dragon’s stand melee, has access to permanent swiftness and other nice boons and enough stundbreaks and evades to get you out of any tricky situation. All that while dealing a nice amount of damage.

If you’re in an easyer event chain and just want to make sure you hit all those trash mobs: pick Jalis and his rotating hammers. It’s like guardian lootstick*, but fully automatic.

*Staff on guardian is also called lootstick because it’s really easy to hit all the mobs in front of you. Guardians usually get way more loot in events with a lot of trash mobs than other classes.

Tips for not sucking as a PVE Reve?

in Revenant

Posted by: BunjiKugashira.9754

BunjiKugashira.9754

Main hint: revenant is an autoattack class. You want to manage your energy so you are at 0-2 pips of regeneration in combat as needed.

It’s actually better to have as much degen as possible (and even waste energy with sword 2 etc). You want to have your energy depleted as soon as legend swap is up again. You can even use the elite facet to deplete energy.

Never use F2 a second time, let it run out because of energy depletion. That way cooldown is shorter and you have it up again when in glint.

When in Shiro just cast 6, impossible odds and autoattack. The energy will run out shortly before Glint is up again.

Tldr.: The Revenant plays like an endless supply of half filled beer glasses. Do you empty them one after another or do you wait for it to be completely filled? Your choice. ;D

BunjiKugashira.9754

1. Get a sword
2. Spec devastation
3. Select Shiro
4. Turn on impossible odds
5. Watch everything die.

That’s the problem… Impossible Odds finishes before anything I touch is dead, and in case it’s dead, my attunement bar is empty because it drains it fast, and now I have another 2 enemies closing in which will take 1/3 of my HP bar.

That’s the reason the Claw Island mission was riddiculous. As a Guardian and Ranger I had no problem dealing and kiting enemies, Revenant was a whole diferent story since Attunement bar management is stoff from a different planet.

Just use auto attacks while IO is active and switch legends as soon as energy is depleted. Switching legends resets your energy back to 50%. You can basically have IO or Jalis Hammers permanent active.

Since masteries only work in PvE, it only makes sense that mastery points are earned there.

Since none of the masteries do anything at all in WvW or PvP, why should you go there for mastery points? I don’t get your logic.

Really? So there’s an invisible energy barrier that prevents legendary weapons from entering WvW and PvP?

Tell me more.

The mastery only enables a collection for you. And that collection consists mostly of stuff that can only be found in PvE (except some stuff that can be found on any map). So yes, the mastery doesn’t give you anything you could use in WvW. It doesn’t give you a legendary or a precursor. It only gives you the possibility to unlock a collection that must be completed in PvE.

Happy farming.

While gating mastery points behind LS2 might be a cash grab, it also encourages players to learn about what happened before HoT. And the fashion achievement? It’s just an alternative way for those that have too much gold.

The difference in skill

in Elementalist

BunjiKugashira.9754

First of all you usually start a rotation (as staff ele) in earth for the blast finisher. On some mobs you use magnetic aura just at the right moment to reflect something dangerous back at them. Also glyph of storms in earth is a perma blind field that can negate all trash mob damage your group would otherwise take.

As long as you’re not fighting you should be camping air. If you have the air specialisation (which is meta) you’ll have a permanent 25% movement boost while in air + an extra 33% speed boost for you and your allies around you. Air 3 and a well placed statics help crushing a champions breakbar. Glyph of storms in air is good for stacking vuln.

If you’re playing with water specialisation (for 20% bonus damage against vuln foes while in water) you want your most damaging spells to hit while being in water. That means: cast meteor shower and immediately switch to water, so that all meteors hit while in water. Cast frostbow 4 and 3 (if you’re still using it) while in water, switch to earth for the blast finisher and go back to fire. While I’m barely using any of the water skills (except for emergency healing, condi remove on staff 5 and chill for breakbars), I find myself spending quite some time in water.

I only use the 211121112111 attack chain in fire when waiting for cds. As soon as meteor shower is up I’ll use that and switch to water for the extra damage.

The problem about shooters in PvE is that you’ll want to have some cleave or aoe in open world for tagging mobs, which a pure shooter build doesn’t provide. I’ve played a thief shooter build for a while (just because double pistol looks kitten) and missed out on a lot of loot. Since the ricochet trait was removed from thief, the number of targets you can hit at once even went down from 4 to 1.

I’m currently playing a condi engi with double pistols, but that’s no shooter build, it’s a tools build and I’m barely using the pistols at all.

[Suggestion] Separate out-of-combat run speed

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Posted by: BunjiKugashira.9754

BunjiKugashira.9754

You do know that you already have a movement speed bonus when out of combat? Movement while infight is 30% slower that outfight. In other words when outfight you move 43% faster than infight. What you’re asking for is to increase that number to 90% (equivalent to swiftness while outfight).

Movement speed is opportunity cost. Just like it costs opportunity to wear a staff as a thief, to take reduced fall damage as any class or to have some other fancy special effects, it costs opportunity to have a reliable movement speed increase. You need to decide wether the pros outweight the cons / cost and maybe even switch builds for different content. It was never intended that you just play one build everywhere.

Locking central tyria bonuses behind masteries is a very bad move, because those are only accessible for HoT owners. While allowing elite specialisations and the new class in the old content is already questionable, those are supposed to be balanced and not give any bonus over players that don’t own HoT. Permanent movement speed increase however is a clear bonus that a normal player would have no access to without buying HoT. Central tyria masteries need to be balanced in a way that they don’t give a significant advantage over players that only bought GW2.

Armor stands for the guild hall suggestion

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Posted by: BunjiKugashira.9754

BunjiKugashira.9754

Inspired by another thread on this forum I wanted to propose a new feature for the guild hall: Armor Stands and Weapon Racks

Aquisition
An armor stand or weapon rack can be crafted by a scribe and placed in the guild hall like decoration. There are light, medium and heavy armor stands.

Functionality
An armor stand can be “given” any equipment (armor and trinkets) that a character of that armor class could wear. A weapon rack can contain a certain number of weapons. This is a one-way thing and the items can’t be returned, so think carefully before you give your stuff away.

Activating an outfitted armor stand will replace your current equipment with the armor stand’s equipment (including runes, sigills and everything) for 12h, until you activate the armor stand again or enter PvP. Also the armor stand will be deactivated during that time, so that only one player can wear it at the same time (visual indication: the armor stand has armor hanging on it or is empty). Weapon racks can be activated to choose the weapon you wish to take from it. Other than that the same rules apply as for the armor stand.

Motivation
The motivation behind this armor stand is that we could take guild members with us in raids or fractals that don’t really own the equipment for it by providing temporary equipment in the guild hall. We could also have tanky equipment in the guild hall for members who want to try WvW but only did dungeons so far and don’t own anything besides berserk stuff. And we could provide stuff for members who just want to try a new build without crafting a whole set for something they don’t even know wether it works or not.

Guild-bound Craftable Items

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Posted by: BunjiKugashira.9754

BunjiKugashira.9754

While the suggestion sounds nice and I’d really like to help out my guildmates with their crafting, there are some problems to be considered:

1. Who does the equipment belong to?
The player? The one wearing the equipment probably paid for the mats or farmed them, so it’s only fair to say that the equipment belongs to him and if he ever leaves the guild, gets to keep it. This opens the possibility to invite players and “sell” ascended stuff.

The guild? This would prevent people from joining a guild to buy ascended stuff and leave again, because the items would stay with the guild. However it would artificially force people to stick to their guild even if there is a dispute. It could even be used to threaten members.

I just thought about something good: The item stays with it’s wearer. Always. However if you leave the guild it was adjusted (or forged) in, then it becomes unusable until it’s either adjusted in another guild that you join, or you have the crafting profession at 500 and can turn the item into a personal one.

The same thing happens if the one who forged or adjusted the item leaves the guild.

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Posted by: BunjiKugashira.9754

BunjiKugashira.9754

The versatile infusion you get from the fractal vendor goes into any infusion slot except the agony slot. The +X infusion you get from the tp goes exclusively into the the agony slot. Only infused rings and backpacks have this special slot.

Need help with 64 bit and 3D

BunjiKugashira.9754

Hi, did someone get the 64 bit client running in 3D? I’m using TriDef 3D and somehow can’t get the game to run using the ignition launcher.

The new client is running fine without 3D though.

GW2 3D

@BunjiKugashira

You can use the Nvidia stereoscopic option on passive monitors with a bit of cheating.

Nvidia cards only recognize “supported” passive monitors (supported means paid them money) so with a bit of search engine research you can download a copy of a supported monitor EDID and force install it as an unsigned monitor driver.

Now your Nvidia card which is hardware capable of supporting any passive 3D monitor no longer has any artificial software barriers to grey out the checkbox

My problem lies more with NVidia’s driver updates. After some updates the installer would always fail at uninstalling the old driver leaving the file in a state that that isn’t existent, but at the same time you can’t create another file with the same name. The only known fix is to completely wipe the hard drive.

After my old card broke down I bought an AMD, which works quite flawlessy and allows me to play GW2 in 3D and max graphic settings at about 50 fps. The only downside is that I can’t use GW2’s 3D rendering checkbox for in-depth character names and 3D world map. I don’t know why that feature is limited to NVidia graphics cards. Probably because NVidia paid for it.

With the upcoming virtual reality glasses I’d really like the checkbox to be available for all 3D capable systems.

Or at least give us an option to remove the white dot of the action camera. That’s currently the UI element that annoys me the most because it’s not in-depth.

[sarcasm]So fractal boxes can be traded now…
Can we make Glorious Armor Boxes tradable next pls? I’d like to have one and I don’t feel like playing pvp. [/sarcasm]

I hate it when rewards that were exclusive to one type of content are handed out like candy. It removes any sense of achievement.

HoT is NOT designed for zerging

in Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns

Posted by: BunjiKugashira.9754

BunjiKugashira.9754

Zerging never got you any event chain progress in the newer maps.

  • DT rank 6 is impossible with zerging. You need to split up.
  • SW breach and vinewrath are impossible with zerging. You need to split up.

When these areas were the prelude to the expansion, why did anyone think the new maps would be any different? SW and DT were experiments for the devs to gain some experience on map wide reward progress. Of course this would be in the new maps.

Glider Skins

BunjiKugashira.9754

I think the wings that are not yet glider skins are too small to act as a glider.
On the other hand I’d really like to see the molten jetpack, riding broom and magic carpet being turned into glider skins. But they’d need a different gliding animation than hanging below them and I don’t know wether they can easily make glider skins with a different gliding animation.

Consensus on Healers (SPVP, PVE, WVW)

BunjiKugashira.9754

After playing HoT for a while I’ve come to the conclusion that I still don’t need a healer or healing power. I’ve seen the raid bosses in the last beta and even there you didn’t need a healer even though they had a constantly ticking 1200 range aoe dmg area around them (the lazyest way possible to enforce healing). Personal heals for the small stuff and blasting waterfields for larger heals works way better than any designated healer ever will.

GW2 3D

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

BunjiKugashira.9754

There are currently two methods for playing in 3D.

  1. You choose an NVidia graphics card, a 60 hz Screen and the special hardware from NVidia (including active glasses that are linked to the system and need to be recharged on a regular basis). In this case you can use the 3D checkbox in GW2 and enjoy all the special features.
  2. You choose a 3D capable screen (including passive glasses like the ones you get in a cinema) and start GW2 using TriDef 3D. The graphics card brand doesn’t matter. This sadly isn’t supported by ANet and you can’t activate the checkbox to get all the special features.

I’m playing GW2 in 3D using the second option because I’ve had enough troubles with NVidia. It’s still a very good 3D experience, but NPC names (and the action camera’s point) aren’t in-depth, but on the screen’s surface. Also I don’t have access to the 3D world-map.

It keeps requesting itzel poison lore even tho they removed the requirement. No matter what i do it keeps telling me that it needs it.

That only happened to me once when I tried to reset the story step without leaving the map first.

It took 7 or 8 attempts for me to get it done without bugging out. You can reset the story step by leaving the map, activating a different story step in the chronics, reactivating sign cutting and reentering the map.

Compact Bags should stack items

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Posted by: BunjiKugashira.9754

BunjiKugashira.9754

Yeah, my bank character has over 100 stacks dragonite ore with the last stack not completely full. Now if I use Princess the first stack will be used and (if Princess only eats 4 times) remain at 50 items. To merge the first stack with the last one I have to klick compact more than 100 times.

Yeah, that’s how they work. Princess will use the first stack, and compact will merge the first stack and the second, and so on. Next time just move the last stack to the first stack and use Princess.

Of course I can always merge the stacks manually by dragging the last one onto the first one until the first one is at 250 items, but it would be nice if the compact function did this.

What build are you going to use for hot!?!

BunjiKugashira.9754

I’m not going to change anything about my build for HoT. Simply the meta dps staff ele build. I’ll unlock Tempest just for the sake of character completion, but I don’t think I’ll play it after it was this bad in the beta.

I’ll also run a revenant dps shiro glinth build. Could take a while to unlock everything though. Maybe if I unlock Glinth before unlocking the specs I don’t need? We’ll see.

You’d just be buying gold that someone else bought gems with. No gold is being created during that process. Good luck next time.

In fact 2*15% of the value is destroyed during this process. You’d be destroying gold instead of creating it.

Crafting System

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

BunjiKugashira.9754

  • Tailoring 400 costs 23-24 gold (state 21.10.2015 http://gw2crafts.net/tailor.html), which is 184-192 gems, which is less than 2.5 dollars. Tailoring is considered one of the more expensive jobs. People are using crafting to level their alts, that’s how cheap crafting is!
  • Naming our stuff sounds like a nice gimmic. Mostly useless, but I wouldn’t be opposed to it.
  • Legendaries are supposed to be rare and still everyone and their bear is running around with one.

Make sure you have a waypoint in silverwastes unlocked. If you have that you can start with HoT as soon as it’s released (being optimistic that there won’t be any bugs preventing us from accessing HoT).

So grouping up for “Torn from the Sky” after every group member has completed the prologue (and is able to open the instance themselves) is possible and will result in all group members getting credit?

I’m asking because in the 3rd beta this part was bugged and only the instance owner would receive full credit (and 2 mastery points). The rest got a character that was out of the tutorial but unable to use masteries (and got only 1 mastery point). Well, just to be safe I’ll solo the instance.

I hope sab comes back and will be very happy if it ever does. And they should bring it out as soon as possible because of the ICC or at least refund the ICC. But realistically it is never coming back. There will always be something they want to spend resources on more than sab. Fixing Hot, Living world season 3, next expansion, guild wars 4 (4 will be so great that they skip 3 altogether.).

The 3rd sequel is always the worst, so let’s skip that one lol.^^
I just really hope that they’ll make SAB highest priority after HoT release and some initial bug fixes, so that it is in a releasable state by April next year. ANet already made clear that they’ll rework some of world 2 and most likely add world 3 before releasing SAB again.
