And PvE it isn’t even close. Necros are accepted in most groups, but never really wanted, whereas Guardians are pretty much expected in nearly every group.

Isn’t this why the dev’s were giggling about war vs necro? Why they said they are out nemesis.
War’s are the most played class. They were upset they weren’t as powerful at PvP as PvE.

I thought the class vid’s highlighted this awesomely,
war, 2 giggling dev’s showing of a few builds in PvP.
Necro, no traits in LA, pointing at some runes in a bag & saying go heal power…

Do you know how insanely powerful we will be in tpvp in they give us vigor? They will either have to nerf our death shroud and fear, and probably weakness.

You mean like a Thief that get’s endurance regen, dodge returns endurance, free evades on weaps, vigor on heal/steal. With dodge’s that also remove cripple, chill, imob.
I guess there weakness is reduced duration like ours already is? Well at least they can’t fear, or apply torment…. What’s that, oh they can, and apply it all more than us?

I guess there a damage class and not attrition like us, so they should be able to avoid burst damage & extend the fight longer than us?

Ok, what about the attrition class’s that work. War’s get a signet, guards get easy 100% Vigor up time.

Oh were light armor, must make us heaver on our feet than wearing a bathtub worth of metal…
Mes & Ele seems to have Vigor on Weap, and traits.

Anyway, it doesn’t HAVE to be vigor. Were fine with being only class in game with no access to it, as long as we get SOME sort of Endurance regen. Even if it’s nurfed to crap in tPvP so were still easiest pickings class, but works enough to not have to eat food buffs for it in dungeons/pve.

Vigor is a bit of a cheap band aid fix. I would have been happy with that replacing Reanimator trait weeks ago. (Vigor on Crit, like many other class’s)

Anyway, ANet has said a few times, were not really one for buffs. Giving us Vigor/Stablity/Prot etc would just make us a guardian.
I don’t fully agree, but I do kinda get where they coming from. I do love that were ‘speshal’ and do things ‘our way’. That we mock those who use Buffs, and turn them into Conditions.

Anyway, I’m all up for Endurance Siphon. Even if it’s only slightly offensive, making sure it works defensively enough to keep up with other class’s with vigor in PvE.
I personally could see it working in BloodMagic, as that’s getting a rework to actually work. If it was tacked on top of our heal siphons, it would make them actually do something for us while in DeathShroud. (Unless they going to let us take SOME heals in DS ;-)

Were not suppose to just escape tho. Which is fine. It’s actually why lots of us chose this class. We were however suppose to be very tanky, and usually not worth the time to kill.
The problem has become, that over time, we become weaker than other class’s. Coupled with we need to attack to do anything defensive, means CCing us totally disables us.

We do have a burst condi damage spec, that’s rather squishy. Not really as advertised, but good. Many players enjoy playing a necro like this.
There was suppose to be at least 1 spec, that kept up with Guard/War’s for bunker.

PvP: CC & Focus it down quick, there’s nothing it can do. If you don’t it will burst condi’s and melt you.

PvE: Ask the necro to sit out of any real boss fight over 30sec, they can’t keep up.

Wasn’t my understanding of a attrition class.

I agree and it’s not just conditions, but also critical damage. All your precision, crit chance and crit damage are nothing.

This is a problem, but it honestly doesn’t belong in this thread. You do approximately half your damage without crits as a berserker build. Condition builds do like 5-10 percent if you count base damage on weapons that are built for conditions and therefore have really low base damage. It’s just not comparable.

What about my guard. Pre & Heals gear. His spec works around crit = vigor to himself & might to everyone around.
Not only dose he have the issue, of struggling to do enough damage to get loot because he’s support. But that he can’t maintain 16 stacks of might to allies, and now can’t even dodge enough to get thru the waves?

Crits should ‘work’ even if they do no more damage than a non-crit if they feel they have to ‘balance’ it by braking the way there damage class’s work rather than increasing his life pool.

Oh man, I want this for my necro but she has the molten alliance pick… If only I could get a one-time use unsoulbound thing to give that pick to another character and not waste it.

Exactly the same boat! I asked if I could get it soulbound to my guard instead.

“Even when we’ll love to help you out with this issue. There is no way for us to unbind the Mining Pick you already have so you can change it to another character, in this case if you want to have the new Mining Pick you need to purchase it again.”

How the CAT am I suppose to purchase it again, if it’s not on TP to buy?!!

I try to throw $ at them each month I play… but it’s getting harder and harder…
I’ve given up on Mini-pets as the code/despawn/bag space/finding in bag is such a pain in the kitty…

I suggested they add a crystal type thing, like un-transmog. Guessing it’s going to be “You suggested it to the wrong place, please put it on the suggestions forum for the guy sitting next to me to look at”

Our Weakness is mobility, escape, CC, and Attrition.

Our Siphon/Vamp is a total joke. 25 for traits vs 200 non-traited other class’s. Minions Siphon sort of keeps up, if you spend many traits & 2 util+1 elite on it, and they not dead.
DeathShroud sort of covers the constant low damage times, excluding you get no heals from others while using it.

Where were massively behind other class’s is avoiding them big spikes/1shot’s. No Vigor, Endurance Regen. No block/invul/extra evade skills.

Because we need to ‘actively/aggressively’ constantly attack to do any defense. It makes CC even worse for us.

Say what you like, but I don’t see us Bunker a node in PvP like a guard/war/eng/ele/mes/ranger. We also stuffed in PvE dungeons in Attrition boss fights after 30seconds.

PlayerX > Your right, a hotjoin PvP round def covers all play in this game.

Thief def doesn’t have any access to anything defensive in PvP. Quick look at the wiki shows all they get is:

On weapons:
Evasive leap + cripple, Shadow Return (Invis Tele), Evade & Stab, Gain Endurance, Leap, Evasive + bleed, stealth, shadowstep away, evade + vuln, block, evade.

Skills:
Roll backward + heal + evade + immob/chil/cripple, Stealth, Stealth, Tele + condi clean, block + blind, refill endurance, teleport, reflect.

Oh there siphon is 4x as strong as ours with no trait cost…

Yeh, Axe 2 is pretty visual. It can be avoided leaving you very Life Force dry.
With dagger you can ‘Dark Pact’ to Immoblize them so they can’t just step out of wells.
Well of Suffering/Well of Corruption both ‘tick’ direct damage. So you should be able to get 100% crit out of that trait with them!

(Also Signet of Spite, doesn’t do anything while your in DS, But Blood is Power’s might stacks DO!
Also, Close to Death trait & Eagle runes stack)

Edit: (Also swapping to staff before entering DS, will give biggest Life Blasts)

I guess your ‘expected’ to learn the maps & the scary spots on them.
As a necro, there’s some not even vet mobs with lots of CC+Knockback that can destroy a non-wary necro. There’s also level 80 champions we can smack about without care.

As people say, Consume Condi, is a much better heal for ‘scary’ area’s. Floaty Gib’s is good heals till things get ruf, then he’s dead and not healing at all. Same with Golem. Awesome for trash, good for constant dam. But not ‘the’ skill for hard stuff.
Litch gives perm stability, beefs up your max life, and pow/pre lots. Tho you can’t heal yourself etc, and it’s only single target dam.
Plauge, tho condi damage, is prob your best defensive, as it’s AoE blind/Slow. (While beefing up your stats!)

Other nicely defensive button is Spectral Armor. You can either use it to quickly rebuild life force for more death shroud, or for brake stun/protection. (The protection keeps active even if you flip strait into Death Shroud).

Oh, and yeh. with power. Axe is a ‘safer’ weapon… Due to it’s range + aoe cripple. Tho dagger is more reliable & faster life force gen, and it’s got a heal. It’s offset by melee only range. (Tho it’s def nicer damage in places you feel safe hugging the mobs)

Yeh, I fully concur and would love that.

I also see good reasons for ANet to nurf DS blocking. The more life force, the more mitigation. Makes sense, and make DS builds more viable, and I’ve had some super fun times 30points in Soul Reaping, partially Queens Jewb.

The other thing I could see working with CC, is it making us stronger. 66% damage removed while CC’ed. (Numbers and idear might need some tweaking)
Something that made it so ‘CC and focus the necro’ wasn’t best intro in PvP, and god I hate getting knocked back into more mobs/CC chained to death somewhere like Lychroft Mere (Kessex Hills, not even Vet mobs level 15-25 vs my big 80)

I also think they really need to work on making us good at attrition. Or, if they fix up Condi’s in PvE, and decide were just hybrid DPS squishy types, give us the option to un-soulbind things like Pick/Axe/Sickle. (As I’d rather farm crafting mats on my guard then)

Signet doesn’t work in DS. Swift that most class’s use, is 33%.

Then, Cripple is -50% speed, Chill -66%.

In combat, moving forwards is double the speed of moving backwards, meaning we can’t damage/build life force etc.

While we do have Wormy, it’s kinda pre set up, were going here, before the fight starts. So not exactly on par with other’s tele’s.
While I have got away a few times with Spect Walk, with players chasein me then tele’ing back N them not knowing where I’ve gone (Giggles), the green trails also is a bit ya know.

It’s not a escape like a Thief who can invis & tele at once, or there fleet shadow trait that lets them move at 50% movement speed while invis.
It’s def not like a Eng that can “Super Speed” off at 200%, and get out of combat, have out of combat regen heal them fully, and come back and finish us off while were still stuck in combat with them the entire time.

Anyway, this is by design. The dev’s said, mobility, escape, and CC’s are our weakness. What’s particularly wrong with us at the moment, is they also said were attrition. Which with the rework of DS, were massively behind all other class’s now.
I also think, that our promise of more tools to ‘lock down’ a opponent and stop them escaping, wasn’t really fixed by Torment, especially not by letting the thief apply more stacks than we can.

Yeh, 30 points for 3 sec, doesn’t brake stun. But they did give us more ‘brake stun’ on diff things, (with less than 90sec CD!)
They did also rework how spectrals work. So I usually use Spectral Armor & DS, so you get Protection & Stability.

Of course, this doesn’t always work. I’ve had it added to the bugs list.
I’m not sure if it’s ‘lag’ related, as I live in Australia. If it is, it’s a double kick in the cats, as it will still put DS on CD from when I pressed it, eat up the lifeforce, then give me the 1sec +lag CD for leaving DS before I can heal.

We ARE suppose to be attrition tho. Which were arguably worst at.
Even in PvE a dungeon with a boss fight of over 30sec, we can’t avoid that next 1shot hit. Which all other class’s can due to access to Vigor/Invul/Block/Endurance Regen etc.
PvP, it’s soo easy for any good player to avoid any of our LifeForce generators. It’s also well known, focus the necro down first, as they can’t stop you. Even 1v1 it’s known CC chain them, they can’t stop you (Tho giving us a Brakes Stun with less than 90sec CD is nice)
I guess, if we go 100% traits & gear into damage (Hybrid, Pow/Pre/Condi) were slightly more tanky than other class’s that do the same.

30 Points Honor – XII get’s your V of Res being a passive AoE heal.
20 Points Virtues – IX get’s it stronger.

That get’s passive heals to anyone near you without even needing to click something.
Only leaves 20 points left for Damage traits.

I know a few guards like taking X from Honor, (Symbols heal) so they can heal others while using GSword/Hammer.

Anyway, this game seems pretty ‘tight’ so the more you heal, the less you damage. It’s just finding the balance you want.

For me, I’ve bought 6 copys of the game for buddys. (All have quit, but anyway.)
I took a few months of due to bugs making me too mad to play. But I’d blow ~$30 a month on gemstore adv on months I do play. I guess.
This is the first MMO I haven’t got ‘hooked’ with PvP. Kinda weird as other MMO’s I’ve sat within the top 1% for years, and generally been top rank in MMO I couldn’t stand PvE content in.
Other people I know that have dumped $ into gem store. Only PvE.
Anyway small sample. And I don’t know that many heavily into PvP as I just don’t hang there much I guess. But no one I used to PvP with for hours and hours each day with in other games, have liked PvP here either.

From what I’ve heard the dev’s say. There heavy PvP’ers also PvE, and WvW.

Anyway, I’ve tried really hard with this game. All my gaming buddys from other games, gave up and mock me for the outstanding basic bugs here. (From Mini-pet code, to terrible dungeons, to even the new ‘raid fight’ that’s in world where people can’t be kicked for stuffing it up for others deliberately [and hours respawn/reset time])

I’ve also tried really hard to just have 1 main, my necro. Not a collection of top geared class’s.
This is also the first time I’ve bothered talk on forums in a MMO, if not on the dev team.

Anyway, I’ve been using my guard alt more & more. I’d say Im a good necro & a ok’ish guard. But, PvE wise, I already feel lots more useful & powerful on my guard. To the point, where if they let me swap my soulbound perm axe/etc over I’d prob swap. (If they had them up on gemshop, I’d maybe even buy another set)

Anyway, Im not buying anything from GemShop this month.
I think my heart says, if they don’t fix up big things with the game next patch… I’m going to retire. ESO & WildStar beta are much more fun than I expected.
It’s painful to say, I do have a deep love of lots of things here. But yeh… Guess it will be checking back every 1-3 months to see if the games fixed enough to be ‘fun’.

Objects take no dam.

Stacks. (Don’t play with others or be penalized for it)

Boss types Immune to Crit.

Modifiers. (Like traits that do more dam to mobs under X situation, that’s direct dam only baby)

Reduced condi duration.

Nurf to fear/weakness/bleed stacks on some things, to ‘balance’ burning in meaning if you don’t take DumbFire, you copped a nurf. (Can’t crit boss’s like Teq, so you can’t even apply burning)

LifeForce gen.

DeathShroud, tho better. Still should stack bleeds on AutoAttack. (Well I guess you use DS as 1 condi dot applyer and quick ’flash’s for buffs. Just seems flatter/less synergy to me.)

So, the real problem emerges...

I’m both camps…

Love: Soo want hard, layered fights with lots going on. This has been the big thing this MMO has been missing, for me & many of my friends that gave up.

Hate: That it’s not instanced, Map full, means you can’t get in with your guild/buddy’s unless stuffing around trying to get into a ‘overflow’.
Then you got random people, who prob not in your VOIP, prob are going to AFK, and I’ve noticed, there’s plenty that will ‘Turret Troll’ and brake the game so ya’s can’t actually do it.
Then there’s the reset time. In say ‘hero mode raids’ which are wow’s hardest tier, there’s usually a 3min rule in guilds I’ve had and enjoyed, where resing/rebuffing/explaining strats – things we did wrong-what next plan is. All have to be done and boss has to be pulled and attempted in 3mins or less, or it brakes up the continuity.
Up to 2hrs a attempt, without being able to leave the map in case of not being able to get back on due to overflow… Well that’s pretty f’in boring!

Love: All the build diversity per class in this game.

Hate: That Condi/Crit/CC/Support builds are all penalized for doing this (Or most ‘hard’ content)

3rd build+gear

Minions an’t effected by your gear, so naked is fine for MM ;-P

Assassin/Zerkers will be highly viable in area’s your pets ant just dieing.

Pow/Pre/Tuf should be good for some of the harder area’s of the game. There’s also some Pow/Pre/Vit/Crit Dam ascended bits. Which prob would be my ‘prefect choice’ for PvE necro on everything. Hopefully they add them stats to more than a few accessories.

I think there was some problems with your 1sec bleed on crit, with quickness being quick and not getting there 1 sec tick so doing nothing. Been ages since I looked at it, so might have been fixed.

I have to disagree with the idea of reporting people for going AFK within PvE. There is no real way for you to know if someone is truly AFK,

Pretty sure, Turret trolls saying “Were going to make you all fail, might as well quit the game now” Then 6 bone walls, no poison cleaned, is a good indicator. Then having them going on about how they can ‘report abuse’ for saying anything negative about them. That AFK play is supported in the game system. Quit the game if you don’t like it…

Tho I guess it’s not ‘true’ afk cause there at there keyboard. Just deliberately making it impossible for others. Could be ‘Denial of Service’ type wording I guess.

To my budys who want this type of content in there MMO, who left cause even 5man instances here are lame:

Guys they finally added raid type content into GW2. Ya’s should come back N play!

Oh yeh, no it’s not instanced. So people who don’t like this do sort of AFK on the turrets so others can’t do it. Oh yeh, you can’t do it with me/guildys because of Map Full.

Oh yeh, still can’t use Condi specs in PvE due to cap, objects still don’t take condi kitten
o no, still can’t CC most the monsters. Oh yeh, support roles have a hard time doing enough ‘damage’ to get loot. Yeh, they also added immune to crit, so those builds/gears also don’t work here.

But there’s a small chance to win a mini-pet! Oh yeh, it can be sold to someone who hasn’t been to the map. Oh yeh, mini-pets still take bag slots and have to be put in speashal bags or they get thrown in collections. Oh yeh, you got to go thru your bags cause there’s no bar to put it on screen. Oh yeh, they still despawn when you sneeze.

But there’s achievements! Oh yeh, the ‘daily’ one still counts to overall points so no it’s still a terrible representation of ‘playerscore’. They did finally do a awesome job on reward skins with achievement stuff tho. Oh no, the reward wings, they didn’t add them to it, it’s the old crappy 1 toon or PvE or PvP set only, yeh I know it’s account wide to do the actual thing…

No no, Im sure they know Rift is free to play and a MMO clone of WoW, with raids that tho bad, actually work. Yeh yeh, I’m sure they know other MMO’s were doing this without the total stupidity 10 or so years ago. Yeh yeh, I’m sure the’ll have all the basic fundamental flaws fixed before the next wave of sexy looking MMO’s are out…

The bigger issue here, is builds that rely on crit, don’t work!
As it stands. Power + some defense is ONLY happy build here.

Condi’s – no.
Crit proc’s – no.
Heals/Support – almost, tho got to fight to do enough dam to get loot.
Power + Crit Dam Builds – almost, tho 2 of 3 stats pointless.

4.5hrs overflow on my bday… Then, can’t even invite guildys in party over, cause map full.
Then AFK people on turrets. Aswell as dead on ground.

I think the best yet, was in a overflow. Saying that after bone wall came up 6 times, that your life’s got to be pretty bad if your so sad that the only power you get is to get on GW2 and make there life a little bit bad too by Akitteng on the turrets deliberately.
Only to have them all say, they are all reporting me for abuse, and Akitteng on a turret isn’t abuse.

I’ve bought 6 friends a copy of this game. None of them play, and I can’t recommend they even come check this new stuff out…

How does healing power effect health siphon

Short answer, badly.

Long answer, it only effect some. Like 15 point trait. But if you have heals power as main stat on all gear. It’s +6. So still ~0.01% your max life per hit. Or still less than 1/4th of say a Ele’s #6 signet with NO heals power on gear.

Having minions siphon per hit. Works better because you can have multi-minions attacking. As well as your attacks. (Excluding minions die in medium to hard pve content, so kinda null)
That doesn’t scale with healing power.

They said they were making healing power scale with them all next big patch.
Were also hoping that they beef up the numbers so were not the worst siphons with the highest cost.

Altho it seems ‘per tick evaluation’. So like getting might will suddenly make your condi’s tick harder than on cast.
It only seems to affect direct power damage.

Yeh, if your using Condi in PvE, spite is going to help, as you’ll have enough power to ‘tag’ group events/drop objects like turrets. As well as the extra condi duration.
Nemisys has done a huge amount of work/tutorials and all that for getting the best out of it.
Until ANet fix’s how condi’s work in PvE, it’s going to be a pest in groups. But the solo dps really shines when your not with others also doing condi.

Anyway Nemi’s guides are like pinned to top of forum. If that’s not up to date towards the end, he’s always been nice enough to give me his latest links in game for UTube vids he’s done etc.

Soz, editing it to actually answer what I do was being silly.
Soul Reaping, seems about best extra damage. While the 50% crit, and extra crit dam is only going to work on things like Turret defense trash with wells. Stability even for 3 sec per DS, or DS flash can stop you pulling your hair out in situations where we get CC chained. I also didn’t mention, I find the 15% CD on DS ability rock in things like invasion, where DS4, and DS5 do some very nice ‘taging’ to get extra loot.

(Don’t get me started on how upset I am with Siphon, I know mosquito’s kill more humans than lions but…)(They did say they updating it next big patch)

And what if not dhuumfire? Spite increase condition duration, thats nice for me. I don’t need survivability from other traits.

Well, we were suppose to be attrition, not super high burst damage, but extending the fight for as long as we can, because the longer it went, the better we were. (Which we weren’t really, and the nurf to DeathShroud being used as a block realllllllllllly made us worst class for avoiding spike dam after 30sec)
With this patch, we were promised this part of our setup would be buffed. We did get some brakes stun access that wasn’t 90sec.
But instead we were given this burst condition, that mixed very nicely on hybrid, as long as we gave up any survivability traits or stats on gear.

Totally ignoring this. There’s the point I tried to make in this post with PvE.
It’s a random proc on crits. So it’s got more chance of hitting a critter, than the target you want to focus.
If they copied the guard’s blue fire on the bar when it was ready to crit, we’d at least have some idea when it’s ICD was off and say, click a few more single target spells on the mob we wanted focused, before Epidemic.
As it is, you can only pray to the god of fire & life, as a follower of cold & death. Then hope it go’s right.

Then, the biggie. Condition Stack Cap.
Quick look at the Burning Wiki, says there’s 47 skills that apply burning, 12 other class traits.
While they don’t apply as often as say, Ele’s Scepter that’s every auto-attack. Lots of groups like a guardian. They passively apply it quite often.
While telling any warrior you party with, they an’t allowed to use a Bow, is going to go down better than no GSword… You really keen to form groups with no Guards or Mes’s, and only Ele’s that won’t go into Fire Attainment?
What happens in a group event? Gosh, we can’t even stop people deliberately Akitteng on the turrets with Teq where I come from…

Oh, then there’s big scary PvE monsters are made ‘hard’ by being Immune to Crit.

Anyway, I really find condi’s a pain in the bum for PvE. I’d personally go Soul Reaping, over Curse’s for lots of situations. (big groups, scary mobs, even 5mans with any other condi based other)
Unyielding Blast is going to let your DS auto attack to AoE in a strait line, and stack 2 vuln per hit. (Reapers Might from Spite let’s you stack a might per one cast)
Deathly Perception is 50% crit while in DS, very nice for Wells. You can also swap it for Foot in the Grave in those fights where you just get CC chained.

There was rumors, that ANet’s going to do something to make condi’s worthwhile in PvE. At the very least, they beefing up Minions & Vamp.
Not holding my breath, until they work well enough to be useful in a fight like Teq. But hoping there will be some more build diversity. (If they do make condi’s work in PvE, the Hybrid spec has good synergy for pure damage and our class)

Merlin >, I noticed this too, also sometimes on my guard with GSWord pull.
I think they pull things to 0 or 1 yard away from you. (Tho different ground heights usually brake the ability in a good way, so ruff train = it doesn’t quite pull it directly on top of you which is a good thing here LoL. IF it doesn’t bug out too hard and just move it a few inch’s and fizz cause there was a scary looking pebble on the ground.)

Anyway, ground targeting/LoS issue’s aside. I think we get it extra hard, as, we use lots of ‘projectiles’.
This also is a huge problem with stacking, not being able to shoot things that meele are spanking.
Super frustrating problem with it, is can’t shoot our feet, so we can’t get out of roots. Which rangers seem to love abusing in WvW for example. Can’t really blame them. How funny must it be just to re-roots the necros in the zerg over & over till the zerg’s gone and you can easily pick the off.

Anyway, slightly unthoughtful programing on some skills, amply’s thru 1-2 bugs to uba frustration.

I’d have to say… Weaps that look like they would be wielded by someone who doesn’t lift.

It would seem a bit silly, using smoke on a stick to suddenly swinging around a 2handed GSword, or a brick on a stick.

Also, it seems were not one for a ‘edged weapon’. Isn’t that our excuse for dagger/axe not cleaving, they are too blunt and we just sort of poke with them?

Shield, Pistol, (would have said no to fire as it’s total wrong god, but we got dumbfire) Torch.

Withering Precision or Lingering Curse?

Withering Precision – 20sec ICD, rand proc so you can’t focus it as you want it.

Lingering Curse – The 33% extra condi duration from scepter, allows you to go over the usual 100% cap.

(They say, next patch they are updating the tooltips to show more of the hidden rules, to make builds easier to work out.)
(Oh Im guessing you can get Weakness from 25% up time randomly on 1 target to a max of 50% up time randomly on 1 target with condi duration getting to 100%)

ANet doesn’t want to give us Vigor/Stability or access to much protection.
They say this would just make us a guardian.

Thus we will still be left with short burst’s of time when we can’t just be CC Chained/Trained.

As for extra CC, It would very likely just be different way to apply chill. With a long CD Fear.

So I’d see it working out to be a single target, meele only staff. If they want to keep it with the rest of the necro vibe.

I also don’t really see necro being strong enough to swing that baby around. I think if we get new weaps, it’d have to be something for someone who dose not lift. Pistol maybe.

I’d also love to see some fun, awesome necro only way to mitigate that 1 shot mechanic after 30secs in a fight, where the necro had to be aggressive enough to build it. Say, if DS could suck up a hit of any size, that way we could use it as a block after building enough life force to activate it, and it’d require skill to time it’s CDs…

GW needed a big multilayer fight.

Kinda get the feeling it shouldn’t have be in world. But instanced.
(Turret trolls, afk’ers, no real communication, can’t get your guildys there as map’s full)

They also punish most the builds in the game.
(Condi, Crit Based, CC, Heals/Support)

As for people saying that this will destroy ascended crafting/price on mats. Don’t worry players did this from the start. (Mats that required a daily CD + high level crafting to craft, people sell for less than half the cost of the just farmed mats, that require no level of anything to obtain.)

We err, can drop quite a few, quite often with support type builds. (Staff+Wells)
I think were massively missing finishers.
Were all hoping that next big patch, tweeks up minions to work in dungeons. There suppose to be our finisher’s, currently tho, there dead when it hits the fan.

But yeh, we’d love to see either main or off hands have some finishers.

Turret Trolls, general AFK’ers.
No centralized VoIP/people listening to instructions.
Not being able to play with guildys on the map/event because the maps full because of them.
Super long reset time per attempt.

This makes instancing it out way, under level players in the zone, seeing other players do things they can’t help with.
