Necromancer 1 Spam is Overpowered now :/

OP is completely right, who would want a warrior the most overnerfed class in the game.. Mesmers are so overpowered they have to get nerfed or warriors have to get buffed, they gotta buff eviscerate 7k isn’t nearly enough, we have to be able to kill mesmers just like everybody else,
You don’t know what it’s like! Warriors are easy for mesmers.

a couple hundred of those armor skins are just silly blues and greens with nondescript looks. if you want them so much, go buy them off the trading post for the 1-5 silver that they cost. iirc, you can unlock the blues without binding them to you, so you can sell them right back for the same price.

I repeat; Cultural Armor , Karma Armor sets. Karma Weapon Sets, Crafting armor/Weapons, Precursors, other Unique weapons and armor.

Do we just want all the stuff without doing all of the work? Maybe, but we were able to get these things, and now anyone coming in fresh from pve is gonna be like, well great.. you can get skins you could already get in pve but 300 times slower.

Most of the skins coming out of old ranked chests are skins that you can find in PvE as common white/blue/green/yellow drops. They are still available through the loot boxes from the reward chests. Just make sure you unlock the skins first before selling to merchant if you’re not salvaging them.

That’s not really true..
Half the sets were Karma armor/weapons.
The other half were Cultural sets, Cultural weapons,
Precursors and other uniques as well.

How much karma do we get in Pvp ? :/ 6k per month? 600 per day?

As a caveat; I don’t play Pvp for the rewards, but I feel like something has been taken from me unjustly :/ and now my end game dress-up hellokitty online fantasies are over.

The only problem with a bank in the Mists are PVE heros using the mists as their personal banking palace…. where as before they’d have to take the portal to lion’s arch.
As casual as gw2 pve is though.. why isn’t this possible ? No one knows..

Soloque isn’t serious business but these pveers talk kitten like they own the place.

Depends on how you look at it; If you’re just starting the game and you hop in to pvp for a few rounds and get gear related to your level = Great feature.

As long as there is a recourse i.e putting the chests in the bank, I don’t see anything wrong with it, no one is punished for playing alts.

Grab Chests >>Put chests in bank> Put chests on 80 > profit.

Before we had access to a ton of Skins.. like easily over 1100 with uniques not counted in the sets.

I’ve completed like 10 tracks.. and have recieved 0 ascended boxes, but I have gotten a couple of rings.
It looks like If I want ascended gear Im gonna have to craft it :/
I have a ton of the mats but It’s going to take like 150 gold just to make a couple of skins..

I’m not unhappy. but I’d like more tracks, as I’m done with all of the standard PVE ones and half of the dungeons.

Considering how they took away the ability to get most of the skins in pvp ?

I hope not.. PVP rewards are already super subpar to pve rewards… you can run the champ train in PVE+ get 10 times (Objectively) the loot for the same time invested and get a Unique skin if your server wins.

Open your boxes in wvwvw zones for 25% magic find bonus too .. I dunno if it even effects it.. the devs say it does but I don’t know sounds like something you wouldn’t be able to test.

I think you missed the joke :/ or several of them. Arrdee doesn’t even play pvp. or hasn’t in such a long time that he’s not on the leaderboards NA or EU Solo or team.

I did 2 days of PVE+ for the hero of the mist weapon skins that black**** is gonna get (Represent) It usually takes me like two weeks to go through a mystic forge kit in pvp, I went through one each day.

The amount of loot pvers get is just stupendous and I wasn’t even 1 spamming as a guard.

Be nice to the pve heros.. pvp population must grow or all is vain.

Hopefully there is a plan in place for adding other skins to PVP via more reward tracks .. this might just be the tip of the proverbial iceberg..

Yea because it’s working as intended now; they totally screwed up the damage calculation somehow, phantasm non-crits have just taken a blanket 50% damage reduction.

When you’re hitting a glass target for 1.8k with 20 might and 25 Vuln, there is a problem.

It feels like the damage is super random; sometimes it takes vuln into account; other times it doesnt and does the same damage. :/ feels broken as hell

Non-crit damage is always super low; 1.8k highs. even with 25 might 25 vuln.

Good job anet, mesmer was almost viable.

Now the damage on zerker is 2k :/ Warlock is 1.8k on ele.

It’s really hard to fight mesmers as a new player, but chin up. Looks like you have a target rich environment of bad new mesmers to practice on.

Sucks the most for honest Shatter mesmers like me :/
I get hate tells from pvehotjoin heros all the time,

Most of the time they die because they eat 4 Mind wrack 3 Cry of confusion instantly..(Roughly 16k damage with Blurred frenzy going)
Highest warlock crit I’ve seen so far in game was 8k, on a thief, with 25 vuln (oh yea, sit in my chaos storm bro) and 19 might on me.

Pro tips: Don’t sit in chaos storm, Each time you’re dazed? That’s 8 vuln. if you get 25 vuln on you, My auto attacks start hitting for 2.6k.

I can see why this needs to work in Hotjoin, but does it have to in soloque?
I dc’d in match at 400points and got back to zero points = No Reward tracks no Gold

Stacking 25 Vuln and averaging around 18Might with strength runes, I was able to achieve 8k Crits on training golems. and 9k Warden crits.

While Plausible, the set up time is actually quite long..

We were promised sellable skins in reward tracks; so far the skins I have gotten weren’t unlocked so I’m not sure If I would have been able to sell them. Has anyone gotten any skins they have been able to sell ? :/

I’ve got a full 5×18 bag slot character filled with kitty ascended mats now, how is this any better then the stacks of reward chests ? :/

Is my only recourse to spend upwards of 180~Gold to get my crafting up to 500(?) in order to use the ascended mats?

True facts, Creating build diversity by allowing you to mix and match all the sigils and allowing you to have two on a twohanded weapon was really cool; But the nerfs to the sigils to compensate should have been greater.

Some of the runes/sigils are now Lyssa(prenerf) level Apex build Kitt.
I’m looking at you Runes of Strength Sigils of Generosity and Energy
(Especially with the vigor nerfs, you’d have to be crazy not to use energy on most professions)

if you don’t open them you can transfer em and it works fine :/

The most I’ve gotten was one exotic.. I’ve opened to my best estimate around 200 chests.

Those trying pvp for “rewards” (LOL) will soon find that they can do a better job in pve, but at least now they don’t have the excuse that they can’t use there wombocombo legendary/get gold in pvp.
Maybe 90% of the new population will leave but pvp population will still have almost doubled till that happens remember the good old days with 10 minute pops, when Pvp was just for you . ( and 19 other people)

Guardian downstate npc is especially hilarious, crits you for 3k+ per attack.

Engies can now burst me down instantly with conditions, death report reads 50+ hits of 3 forms of condition damage but its basically instant death.

It would be nice to have traits/skills unlocked account wide.. and wouldn’t effect balance that much…

It’s already really expensive :/

Hopefully though they just put in templates, and a 9th character class so I Don’t feel like having 9 was a bad idea.

Maybe they’ll allow you to trade in character slots for templates in the future ?:) would be nice.

Obviously having AP shown/ap leaderboards has some unintended consequences
(I dunno they’re existence is just funny to me) like people being discriminated against for low scores in PVE (Does this actually happen?) and they should remove em or atleast give the option of hiding them.

I think this is a much much better system then any other game, as you basically have a bank for every skin in existence, you start with a nice amount of transmutes and you gradually earn stones to transmute by playing the game

You were given 1 charge per rank in pvp, 5 free and if you played any pve whatsoever you had a large stockpile of stones, I ended up around 150=80+5+65~(stones) and I got about 3-4 from doing reward tracks just yesterday, so I’m alright with this.
