It’s a relatively new item. Throwing it in a place that everyone can get right now won’t motivate the players next year. Three candy corn cobs was rather easy to obtain given how much was vomited out at the players. Put your big boy pants on and stop whining. You had plenty of time.
So when I stated I’d like this for my NEW account it must have slipped past you? Next time trying reading more before being snarky. Also, I don’t think an item worth 4g at the moment is much motivation to play next years Halloween content. It’ll take all of 5 minutes just to buy it.
Oh, and a new weapon for Thieves, a whip! That would be awesome. Especially if it was condi heavy with burning! Yes, I’d go for fire/flaming whips but, I’d be happy if you just took the bandit ones in game already and ported them to thieves.
This was my favorite look. Nothing in game today compares to it, nothing. Please make these items into Armor skins. These were also items paid for and taken away from us. Which still bothers me….. Oh, and we need more footwear! Please take the sandals from the chef’s outfit, the boots from the witch outfit, and original Norn boots from the town clothes, and make them into armor skins.
I’d also like to see the return of the T-shirts. Doesn’t have to be the same GW2 either. Heck, I’d be perfectly happy with just a plain dyeable T-shirt.
The Candy Corn Gobbler for Xmas sales.
Maxakari, believe me when I say, account binding drives me crazy! With a handful of accounts, it can be a real pain in the kiester! I’ve maxed crafting on 2 accounts already. These new account bound foods from Dry Top are aggravating too. Then armor weights and racial binding, Oy vea. Simple things like the Wraith Masque are annoying. Like why not let the Norn and Human ones be available to both? That Norn one is pretty unusable. Meanwhile, the human one rocks!
As much as I complain today, I just got the biggest drop in my near 5k hours playing, Abyss dye. First time I’ve gotten one of the uber expensive dyes.
Thank you for replying Gaile. If I would have known, I would have bought 2 additional accounts last week. This way it would be ready to use when I wanted it.
Gaile this is off topic but, I noticed while upacking the Krytan armor skins with the deluxe account it actually included an armor set too. Is this something new? I SO don’t recall receiving this on the other deluxe accounts. Does the armor set (not skin) come with purchasing Krytan, Profane, and/or Primeval from the BLTC? Not really a big deal but, my OCD appreciates having the same things available across all my accounts
Send me your money. Problem solved.
lol… I had to sell some inventory to scrape this gold together Another reason why I’m so irked!!! If it’s like hey, two months from now I can transfer the funds. Then I just blew how much gold selling now?
All I know is this game needs much more of a, “Can Do!” attitude to it. Way too many restrictions…. Way too many.
This is a complaint that I’m guessing is about the NPE? All I know is I bought another additional account. Tried to transfer funds to it just to pop the “Golden” title and I can’t transfer funds???? Something about “this transfer would exceed the total value of transfers allowed for new accounts.” What the heck is this? Where are these limits posted? What is even the metrics used to based this on? Is it hours logged in, days since purchase, character levels, or what?
Dev’s…. this falls under the definition of stifling. Post some specs so players at least aren’t in the complete dark about this.
Thank you I’m aware they were from Halloween. I have them on my accounts except for the newly purchased one last week. Why Anet wouldn’t have it in the Merchant I don’t know. Like denying players works so well??? \o/
Just noticing this isn’t available from the merchant in LA, Sonder the Seller. Can this be added in please?
I get such a laugh out of the anti-mount people. The amount of energy used to twist logic to use against mounts is mind boggling. Some players really want mounts, end of story. The issue should be simply choice. If a player wants a mount so they can traverse Tyria’s vast open world, great. If someone doesn’t want a mount and uses the way points, great. It’s ALL good if it keeps players entertained and invested in the game. Telling either side they are wrong and can’t have does nothing but lessen someones experience of the game.
The word for every anti-mount person to learn is tolerance. This isn’t YOUR game alone.
Wow, how insanely bored is someone to do this?
Yes, experience scrolls should stack. Who the heck cares they are from different birthdays? They should simply be the same experience scroll in every birthday package.
Someone explain to me this, if I had a performance meter, how would that translate to elitism? The stats given would only be viewable by me. There would be nothing to link or give out to others. Thus, where does the “elitism” come from?
For performance, I know a friend and I had fun using the Scarlet Knights as a pseudo DPS meter. It was actually a lot of fun pushing to see what the max sustainable output was. Also, by doing so we were contributing a lot to everyone in LA during the event chain. I highly dislike that interesting and fun things are being withheld do to Dungeons. There’s A LOT more to the game than that.
How about adding a meter and combat dummy (crittable / non object) to our home instances? Also, adding it to the WvW Citadel and spawns? This is something valuable to players whom have not one care for Dungeons.
GG, the whine is extremely unwarranted.
I do not believe Copper is being trolled at all. I believe it’s simply failing due to poor player performance and scaling. When I see Mesmer’s using GS or Thieves using short bow, I’m fairly certain Copper is going to fail. Players need to check which skills are AoE and piercing. Check to make certain popular sigils like Fire are not being used.
If the combat log we have now was down to the second, it would give us the option of figuring out DPS ourselves.
How a personal DPS meter segues to inspection? A DPS meter is just a personal tool to test and improve.
Meh, re-releases don’t work for me as much as having every item in game farmable at all times. Even if it’s a rare drop, at least have it out in the world.
Most players are actually Skritt behind the keyboard,
I loved underwater combat. There is still LOTS of water in Tyria. Even in WvW you will be getting wet. So yes, there’s a place for an Ascended Aqua Breather. For heck’s sake how hard is it to re-purpose a skin, change it’s stats and binding, and add it in somewhere? Make it plentiful and easy to get even.
This is the kind of request that should take one person and hour or so to actually do.
This is why Anet should never have one time items. Gl with it though…
Can we please get Ascended Aqua Breathers? Maybe at the very least an Exotic that’s Account bound? Doesn’t even have to be a new skin, just have the functionality of being account bound.

I only whisper someone if they start in spamming emotes. Otherwise, I’m too busy WP’ing back into battle.
Scrap WvW and make up Alliances for players to join weekly. This way it’s more fluid, dynamic, organic, and populations are easily managed.
Even I laughed at this thread. From my point of view, most commanders can you a good butt kicking. And, I happily join the kill squad when there’s room.
Almost solo’d the OG champ once. Never tried Ogre, now tempted to try it.
Consider the entire game a giant competition against all the other players. You want to out do them ,have the shiner items the rarer items basically have what they don’t and can’t get.
That’s actually the exact opposite of what I want out of a game. I do care about what my characters look like for my own sake. Not some superficial bunk over what others have.
The micro-transaction and micro-content model
Items costing $10 a piece are not Micro transactions. If items cost between $1-$3 I’d say they better fit into the Micro Transactions definition. Also, I feel more players would pay for items instead of farming gold. Because the real life cost is at a price point where players simply say, “F that” and get turned off. Anet should consider moving more volume at a lower price point.
For an expansion, I’d much rather have it in the living story fashion. They just need to have more content per patch.
My heartfelt condolences. Wish I would have read this sooner. Would have fired off the trebs here on JQ Garri as well.
I have over 1k skill point scrolls. Wanna guess how much superior siege I’ll be making over the next week?
This will be my anthem while raining death upon everyone

I believe the Dev’s wish for much higher property turn over in WvW. I do not agrre with removing white swords without provisions for scouting in place. Like having Crow’s Nest and signal flares/fires. This way maybe when a scout see’s something they interact with the fire and it pings the mini map and can be visually seen in the distance.
Beside white swords, I feel PPK is catering to a very small percentage of “fights only” guilds. More than likely it’ll push more players into EotM. Which is fine as it’s a fun game mode too.

Oh, don’t forget these are Centaurs and we have potions for that.
Best advice on this thus far is to turn off post processing. That searingly bright effect is a hindrance. The easiest way to do this fight is to party with someone whom already has the achievements and let them do the fighting. I went Banner Regen Warrior and tanked the fight well. Just have those needing the achievements sit on the ledge in the south west corner and range attack. Mesmer’s are good for this as their GS range attack cannot be reflected by the Earth Elemental’s shield. Of course an Ele with Ice Bows and FGS is awesome.
I still dislike how our stats on Caithe are fairly locked. Though I believe if you equip a Toy Ventari mini, it’ll shake it’s head at Faolain the whole time. It even laughs if you let her died repeatedly. Which I may in fact have done, repeatedly.
Yeah, after a while on it, this fight kinda sucks. It’s not even fun. I really don’t know what a Dev was thinking with this one. The stat scaling is wonky as it’s not just a costume we’re wearing. Also having to party isn’t the way the personal stories should work imho.
When you alt + tab out of GW2, the taskbar blinks when whatever you were waiting for has loaded or is ready. Personally I love it.
As I said, it continues to pops up a task bar I chose to hide. With load times being only a few seconds, why the heck do I need the entire Windows task bar notifying me for? Or any notification for that matter, it’s a few seconds! No less it covers the bottom of the game window requiring me to click the games tab in the task bar to hide the whole task bar again. This is a seriously annoying and unwelcome addition. There should be an option to turn this off.
(edited by DeWolfe.2174)
Is there any way of turning off the new windows task bar notification? I run my task bar with auto-hide enabled. Now the task bar pops up so frequently its become an annoyance. Does anyone know a way of stopping the GW2 client from doing this?
My solution was just to drop the guild and rejoined. I just have to wait 3 days to access it again. At least it “should” work as the 3 day timer is counting down.
Either that or maybe have a choice between Mr. Sparkles and Mini Gwynefyrdd. Since it’s extremely expensive and a ridiculous click fest to obtain. I mean seriously, they actually expect a human being to manually click hundreds of thousands of times opening Trick or Treat bags??? GG
+1 good stuff OP! Add in transforms like in EotM and the Silverwaste please? Golems shouldn’t be the only mobile transform in WvW.
A push week is a week where everyone pushes. This is us creating our own version of Seasons. Including the creation of a graphic or something as a trophy for us to pass around. No one wants another 9 weeks season. Even 4 straight weeks is too much OT. One thing Anet certainly did well with EotM is the short 3 hour matches. It’s much healthier game play than the 24/7 of WvW.
I’d much rather see push days and/or push time zones. Either way, it’s everyone involved in creating a better game experience.
For that purity comment, everything in life ends up being a give and take. You simply cannot win all the time and expect the game to continue being played. Fore the ultimate win in such a game is to simply stop playing.
Correct, armor appears to be irrelevant and it’s a percentage of total health. To test this I just took my glass Ele and glass Necro and tossed them over a cliff.
The Ele at 13,473 hp took 24,140 falling damage.
The Necro at 20,823 hp took 39,574 falling damage.
Both had the same toughness/armor rating of 1959. Even placing an additional 300 points into toughness did not change the falling damage taken.
Me on stairs when I start taking damage ……

So someone bunker troll’s at your keep entrance and then troll’s you with a video, who could have imagined???? For that first video, you do realize he’s just a bunker Warrior right? That he’s not outputting any real damage. That it’s the TREB fire those players are standing in and the vet’s that are killing them.
Whenever I come across a bunker, I just give them what they want. To be chased around and kitten for 5 minutes. The last time I came across one was a little over a week ago. 3 or 4 of us chased them around jumping and auto attacking like Looney Toons for a bit. Then I noticed this shout Warrior was leading us toward a cliff. I was filled with (in a southern belle accent) “Oh noes…. what shall I eva’ do?” against such tactics. Truly, what could my lil ole Ranger with a Longbow and Wolf do against such a big bad Shout Warrior and a cliff?
I imagined his descent sounding something like this http://youtu.be/QnDxPG3KrtA?t=35s
Each T1 server has a couple of thousand players whom have WvW’d. This handful of players in the meeting weren’t voted on. I’d also wager most players don’t even know who they are. What they are though is caring and proactive players trying to make the game mode more interesting, fun, and engaging place for everyone. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that desire. They should be applauded for their good intentions and for putting forth some effort in making the game mode better.
If anyone has any ideas of things to do, please do feel free to post them here. Please keep the suggestions based on what the current game design allows us to do.
Even though it decreases my builds performance, when running in certain areas I trait for falling damage. It’s worth it to avoid the aggravation. Yes, this should be fixed too.
ok, so after swapping layers a few times, I found one that works.
snip
I’m fairly certain some compensation can be included to those whom have multiples of said items. This is no different than when they went from soul bound to account bound.
It would be nice to have gathering tools have there own tab in the wardrobe. Players would have a preview of said gathering tools before purchasing. Such a preview would be a secondary enticement toward purchasing and show instant feedback when available.
For adding anything that increases the return from using them, no. I believe they should be for convenience and esthetics only.
So 1 thread on the first page wasent enough?
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/gw2/gem-store-tools-one-for-each-toon/first#post4592152
No, due to that thread already deviating from what I’m asking for.. Also, the title isn’t as concise and catchy. You see, I did get you to read this didn’t I?
